Any tips for improving as a writer? I really like your style and would love to write one day.
Drink Water. I'm not kidding. Your brain is jelly and it lives in water. If you are even a little dehydrated, your brain will not do it's best work.
Eat good food. As above, really. Give your brain the right stuff for it to work. Leafy green stuff is best, but don't forget fats and proteins too. Celery dipped in fat is good for you. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. We're not trying to be skinny, we're trying to write a book.
Try to move around a little bit. Being hunched over the computer all day sucks. Even if you just move your computer around, it's good to not be in the same place/posture all the time.
Write whatever makes you happy and is fun to write. If you're not having fun then that'd suck.
Keep writing. Writing is a craft more similar to brick laying than a lot of people would care to admit. That means you'll get better at it the more you do it. So just keep practising.
That's my advice. I hope it's good.

Eddie hates drinking water
Ugh, am I projecting a little bit? Very much so. I hate drinking water and now Eddie does too. I hope you like it and please leave your thoughts in the comments!
~*~*~*~
Eddie had a strange vendetta against drinking water. Logically, he knew that it was good for the body and it was required to stay hydrated and you know, alive. However, he could never get behind it.
It tasted disgusting. Drinking water was like drinking nothing due to its plain taste and it unsettled Eddie more than anything else. Tap water tasted too plain, bottled water tasted too plain, and spring water was even worse because it tasted like metal. So, he avoided drinking water to the best of his ability. And his absolute detestment of water spread to the fruits and vegetables that tasted like water too. Carrots? No. Watermelon? No. Celery? Absolutely fucking not. Cucumber? He’d rather die.
It was just another one of the funny little quirks he had. Eddie Munson listened to outrageous metal music, stood on tabletops to deliver speeches, got accused of murder from time to time, and didn’t drink water.
Once his friends found out, they tried to convince him or sometimes outright trick him into drinking water in order to not die. Gareth would switch his Mountain Dew for flavored water (his attempt caused Eddie to dump the beverage over his head and kill his campaign character but Eddie did take a sip so he considered it a win). Jeff refused to play D&D with Hellfire until Eddie could drink a full bottle of water (Eddie didn’t try and Jeff slinked back to the drama room two weeks later in obvious defeat). Grant even tried to hold him down and pour water in his mouth when he was looking particularly dehydrated (that only ended with Eddie looking like a sad wet rat that glared at him for a month straight).
After his experience with the Upside Down and getting his name cleared, Eddie’s distaste of water continued. There’d been a small lapse at Skull Rock when water was the only thing to drink but now it was back full force. His friends and his uncle were still walking on eggshells around him, desperate not to spook him after such a harrowing experience, and unwilling to push the issue. However, Steve didn’t have that problem. Once he found out about his strange aversion, he vowed to get his boyfriend to drink water.
It started with offering Eddie a bottle of water on one of his visits to Family Video. It was a hot day and Eddie was still wearing his battle vest and a bunch of layers. Steve could see him sweating and he couldn’t afford to have him pass out due to heat stroke.
“Here man, drink this. It’s fucking hot out and if you don’t stay hydrated, you’re going to pass out.”
Eddie grimaced a little bit but took the water. “Thanks Stevie, I shall cherish this offering for the rest of my life.”
Steve just looked at him, completely unimpressed. “If you don’t drink that water, I’m not having sex with you for the rest of the month.”
That got Eddie’s attention. He wiped his sweaty bangs out of his eyes and looked at Steve in concerned bewilderment. “Seriously? Are you serious?”
“Completely.”
Eddie grumbled at him but popped the cap off and started chugging the entire bottle. When he saw Steve smiling out of the corner of his eye, he flipped him off with the hand not holding onto the water.
The kids looked on in wonder. Sure, they didn’t like hearing their babysitter proposition their dungeon master about sex. But if it got him to drink even a portion of the required daily water intake, they could make an exception.
It seemed to work so Steve kept doing it. From handing him a water bottle on the hot days to switching out his usual pop for water on his campaign nights. He even made him eat celery and watermelon on a few occasions. And Eddie seemed none the wiser to his plans!
The next time was at the Munson trailer. The boys had planned to do a picnic in the woods but the sky decided to open up and downpour so they were stuck inside. They decided to have their picnic right on the floor of the living room and sprawled out, blanket and all.
“What have you prepared for our midday feast, Chef Harrington? I assume caviar, tuna tartar, and the best foie gras?”
“Why would I feed you grass?” Steve asked him in confused offense. He wasn’t the best cook but he wouldn’t feed his boyfriend grass like a cow.
“What? Why would you have grass? I think we both know that I supply the grass in this relationship.” Eddie’s eyebrows scrunched in confusion.
“What the hell are you talking about?” Now he had grass?
“Weed! What’re you talking about?” Eddie yelled, frustrated.
“Foy grass! You’re the one that said it!” Steve yelled back.
“No, foie gras! It’s duck kidney or some shit! I was just naming fancy foods.” Eddie explained.
“Oh okay. Well no, but I brought your favorite,” Steve told him. “Carrots and cucumbers! They didn’t have any of those pre-cut trays at the grocery store so I had to chop them myself. Bon appetit!”
Steve could see Eddie’s lips curl in disgust but he tried to hide it behind a fake smile. “Yum! I love… those.”
“Great! Once we finish these, I have turkey sandwiches and chocolate cake. Happy anniversary, babe.” Steve leaned over to give him a chaste kiss before placing the cucumbers in his hands.
Eddie looked down at the bag of misshapen sliced cucumbers for a moment before digging in and using a hand to hide his gags. “Great, this is great. You’ve outdone yourself, Stevie.”
Steve just nodded, eating the carrots while watching the amusingly disgusted faces Eddie was making.
Meanwhile, Wayne was sitting at the kitchen table drinking his coffee and watching the pair as he got ready for his afternoon shift. He knew how much Eddie hated water and everything that tasted like it so he was impressed with the Harrington kid. Anything that got Eddie to eat healthy foods on a semi-regular basis was good in his books.
As he watched Steve give him a piece of celery to eat and then a small kiss as encouragement, Wayne had an epiphany. He didn’t care that Eddie was being force fed vegetables against his will. His nephew was going to marry the Harrington kid whether he wanted to or not. God knows he was already part of the Munson family anyway.

obviously you can’t cook don’t know what a blog is etc etc. but in a universe where you did would you know of any recipes your alternate self posted which used leftovers or scraps? or alternatively making really good stock? many thanks
hm. if I ever cooked I think I would say something like—take
the peels, ends, and greens (if you haven't used them for anything else) of carrots
the ends, leaves, and outer stringy bits (if you're one of those people who peel them) of celery
tomato skins
mushroom stems
peels and trimmings of onions
peels and ends of garlic
skins and trimmings of ginger
the whites of green onions
stems of fresh, tender herbs (parsley and cilantro)
stems of woody herbs (thyme, rosemary), in moderation
trimmings from leeks, turnips, and fennel, in moderation
And simmer in enough water to cover for about an hour, with herbs or whole spices if you'd like (I generally include bay leaves, black or white peppercorns, cumin seeds, and coriander seeds), then strain. You can keep scraps from preparing meals over the course of a few days or weeks and freeze them in a bag or other container until ready to make stock; make sure each bag has a good proportion of different vegetables. Frozen scraps will only take 15-20 minutes of simmering to make stock.
Make sure that you scrub any vegetables whose peels you will be using for stock thoroughly. Scraps can be used for stock if they are wilted, but not if they are rotten.
Various places online will give you different ideas of what to include in stock and what not to bother including (there's a pretty comprehensive list here); as you do this over time you will no doubt have your own opinions about inclusions and ratios. Do not include cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower) as they will make the stock unpalatably bitter. You may chuse to divide scraps in terms of what meal you plan to make with the stock (e.g. leave ginger, lemongrass, galangal peels &c. for an east Asian meal rather than, like, an Italian one).
Other things that can be done with "scraps":
The whites of green onions can be simmered alongside kombu/dashima when making Japanese dashi or Korean yuksu. Also reconstitute dried shiitake mushrooms in this stock to get flavourful mushroom water in the stock + reconstituted mushrooms that you can slice, boil, fry, &c.
The whites of green onions can also be used to make shiraga negi, a Japanese garnish
Thai recipes often involve leaving the peels on garlic when chopping or pulverising it. I'm not sure how the skins on Thai garlic compare to other varieties so your mileage may vary.
Garlic and onion peels can be dried in a dehydrator or an oven on low (~200F) and then ground to add savor to bread, soups, rice &c. Basically use it like garlic powder
Cauliflower and broccoli stalks can be peeled, sliced and roasted (along with the leaves) at around 400F (200C) for 20 minutes or so until browned and crispy with olive oil, salt, and spices of your chusing, then dipped in ranch or garlic sauce (for a quick vegan ranch I mix vegan mayonnaise + grated garlic + a squeeze of lemon + pinch of salt).
Kale stems can be pickled, or sliced thin, sauteed, and added to stir-fries and soups.
The inner core of cabbages (which some recipes call for you to remove) can also be minced and added to soups.
Orange, lemon, and grapefruit peels can be used to make mixed peel; apple peels and cores can be used to make apple jelly. These recipes aren't really something-for-nothing, though, as they do use a lot of sugar.
Also orange peel tea. Sometimes when making mixed peel I drain the water after five minutes of simmering and drink it as tea, then replace the water and continue simmering as the recipe calls for.
Some Medditerranean cake recipes involve (perhaps soaking and then) blending an entire orange, peel and all--look up "whole orange cake."
When not making mixed peel, I (remove the pith from and then) dry orange and lemon peels to grind into zest and store it to use as needed. A friend of mine saves the pith, too, and dries and grinds it and uses it to replace some of the flour when baking.
South Indian & Latin American recipes sometimes feature the peels of bananas or plantains—look for banana peel curry/thoran.
Various recipes can be found for banana peel pulled pork and banana peel bacon; banana peel cake; banana peel tea.
Starch left from rinsing rice can be used to thicken soups and stews (this is common in Korean recipes).
The water left from cooking dried beans can be used in soups and stews, or in cooking future batches of beans.
Make sure that anything you're eating or boiling has been washed well.
I— I'm. uh. huh. that was weird, I don't know what came over me...

Hello and Good day everyone!
Today I want to talk about some simple preservation and kitchen scrap tips. With having an interest in sustainability, low waste, eco friendly and growing food for my family it just makes sense to know how to store produce for long term, convenient use and to make the most of my crops and groceries.
Tumblr media
I had a few carrots and celery bags I picked up this week for varied food use and figured I'd do a lil post today on one of the ways I preserve carrots.
I don't have a pressure canner, or else I'd make some half pints and pints of carrots for the pantry. Instead I make do with what I have~ which is a freezer, dehydrator, or pickling.
Today im going to focus on freezer method.
You'll wanna take your carrots and wash 'em up. You can let them dry after wash up but its not strictly necessary.
Tumblr media
Chop of both ends of the carrot. You can peel your carrots too if desired (save all these bits for later soup stock or to give to your chickens or compost piles) if you have nice leafy greens on your carrots, you can use those greens similar to parsley or as a salad additive. (Chickens enjoy them as well!)
Tumblr media
For freezing carrots you'll want to blanch them first.
Blanching is just taking a pot of water, bringing ro a rolling boil and dumping raw veggies in (like carrots, green beans, broccoli spinich, sweet potato greens) the veggies will often go from a almost matte color to a brighter color when ready. It's suggested across media that about 5-10 minutes is enough.
Drain the carrots from the hot water and give them an ice bath (I usually don't have ice so I soak and rinse a few times to bring down the heat in the veggies)
Tumblr media
I let the carrots drain and dry a bit, when dry I spread a towel over my baking pan, layer out a layer of carrot, popped it in the freezer.
Tumblr media
When frozen, I pull the towel up, roll the carrots round a bit to break any that may be together apart and pack them in the storage container and pop them back into the freezer till needed.
That's it for today's post, short and simple :)

How To Flush Nicotine Out Of Your Body Naturally?
Drink water to flush out nicotine
Eat vegetables
Drink pine needle tea
Kiwi eliminates nicotine
Drink water to re hydrate as Nicotine dehydrates the body. Nettle is loaded with iron and is a useful disinfectant. Eat celery, along with such vegetables as zucchinis, egg-plants, beans, and even cucumbers, which affect cigarette taste. Also, consume pine needle tea, oranges, kiwi fruit, carrot juice, broccoli and spinach.
When you smoke a cigarette, nicotine circulating in the bloodstream gives a kind of high. On an average 6-8 hours is how long the nicotine from a single cigarette lasts. Most of that nicotine will get eliminated in the urine. 48-72 hours is how long it can take for most of the stored nicotine to be metabolized and leave your body. 20-30 days is how long the nicotine by-product cotinine can continue to circulate in the bloodstream.
Fruits And Vegetables Helps Flush Nicotine
Vitamin C is the best known substance for nicotine flush from the bloodstream.
It increases metabolism and creates white blood cells. Fruits and vegetables help your system flush nicotine – they’re good for your health, they contain water and they make cigarettes taste less appealing.
In fact, research shows that if you eat more fruit and vegetables, you may have an easier time staying tobacco-free for longer.
A study, which was published online by University of Buffalo public health researchers, authors from UB’s School of Public Health and Health professions surveyed 1,000 smokers aged 25 and older from across the nation. Fourteen months after the survey, the authors followed up with the respondents to see if they stayed tobacco-free during the previous month.
What they found was that those who consumed the most fruit and vegetables were 3 times more likely to abstain from tobacco for at least 30 days than those consuming small amounts of fruit and vegetables. In addition, those consuming more fruit and vegetables smoked less often per day, waited longer before having their first daily cigarette, and scored better on a nicotine-dependent test.
Increased Consumption Of fruit and Vegetables Help People to Quit Smoking Due to the Following Reasons
Less nicotine dependence.
High fiber content makes people feel fuller – since smokers sometimes confuse hunger with smoking urges.
Unlike meats, alcohol, and caffeinated beverages, fruit and vegetables don’t enhance and may even worsen the taste of tobacco.
Engaging in a healthier lifestyle could consciously and subconsciously cause smokers to further shift out of an unhealthy lifestyle involving smoking.
Foods For Nicotine Flush
1. Water
Nicotine dehydrates the body, so drink water to rehydrate. Keeping up a good supply of water helps your body to flush the nicotine.
2. Nettle
This herb is loaded with iron and is a useful disinfectant and great at fighting infection.
3. Vegetables
Eat celery, along with such vegetables as zucchinis, egg-plants, beans, and even cucumbers, which affect cigarette taste. Eating a lot of these vegetables can decrease nicotine dependence. Do not eat a lot of sweet vegetable, that are high in sugar, because excessive amounts of glucose activate the areas of the brain responsible for pleasure and satisfaction. Thus, glucose can stimulate cravings.
4. Pine Needle Tea
This tea has been traditionally used to disinfect the mouth and throat, but can also be a helpful aid in lung health.
5. Oranges
Contains high levels of vitamin C to replace vitamin C in your body that smoking reduces. Eating oranges boosts your metabolism to clear nicotine faster and reduces stress.
6. Kiwi Fruit
Kiwi helps you eliminate nicotine from the body and replenish Vitamins A, C and E that smoking reduces.
7. Carrot Juice
Carrot juice has vitamins A, B, C, K that help eliminate nicotine from the body. Nicotine also damages your skin, and carrot juice is high in vitamins that are good for the skin.
8. Broccoli
Contains high levels of vitamins B5 and C. Replenish vitamin C by eating broccoli and keep your metabolism high. Broccoli contains a substance that protects lungs from toxin-related damage.
9. Spinach
Rich in vitamins and folic acid, so it’s good for your body and especially good in making tobacco taste bad.

We give a lot of credit to sliced bread as a luxury of modern times but I'd like to shout out my friend ramen noodle packet as the second most useful food luxury we get to partake in.
Here in the U.S., it started out with making noodles by hand whenever you wanted them. Then dried noodles, but you have to make your own broth or sauce to go with them. Then canned broth and bouillon cubes, but you still have to buy them separately and they needed a little help to make a full soup. Now you can buy what's basically dehydrated room temperature soup and all you need is some hot water and maybe a container depending on your preferred soup brand. And it's super cheap! You can leave it plain for a quick comforting meal or dress it up with some seasonings and vegetables for a more genuine soup experience. It's perfect for busy people, people with limited resources, nervous new chefs, or anyone who just wants a meal they don't have to think about. I'm a picky eater with sensory issues and even when I have the time and resources to cook actual meals my favorite thing to do is fancy up a packet of cheap ramen. It's so easy and it tastes so good.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Left ramen had tomatoes, carrots, celery, corn, chili powder, dried garlic, and dried onion added to it. Right ramen has tomatoes, spinach, and celery added that I took from my college dining hall's salad bar.

Consume a range of foods. Use the food categories as a guide, and make an effort to eat often from each one. Pick foods with minimal to no added salt, sugar, or saturated fats.

Some stuff to do instead of eating also there may be some repeats so sorry in advance. Good luck!!
Add to your bucket list
Go on tumblr
go for a quick walk to clear your head
take a nap
If you feel like binging, fill yourself with water, if it doesn't help, look up "gross expired food"
Dark colors usually make you feel fuller, faster.
When you get a craving, count to 100 really slowly
Get one of those three ring binders and make a section for each part of the body. Put all the exercises you’ve got in there according to what body part there for.
Take a Polaroid picture of yourself wearing nothing but your underwear. When you want to binge, look at it, and see all that fat that you need to get rid of? Carry it in your wallet whenever you go somewhere where there will be food.
Eat with the opposite hand you normally do. Left handed people eat with their right hand, and vice versa.
Wear a rubber band around your wrist and snap it when you want to eat. You’ll train yourself not to think about eating.
Clean something when you want to eat.
If you get really bad headaches it could possibly be from dehydration so drink lots of water.
Eat in front of the mirror

Take your vitamin.
If you sit a lot every hour get up and go crazy start dancing or jumping stupidly or anything like that it will boost your metabolism for a little.
Have you ever noticed that most people who you see eating are fat? Well remember this if you eat like them you’ll be as fat as them.
A calorie is a calorie so it doesn’t matter what kind you eat just eat under 1000 and you’ll lose weight.
To keep a binge from coming, do 20 pushups and then 20 jumping jacks after you won’t feel like eating anymore. Better yet, do them in front of the mirror.

Keep good posture, burns 10% more calories when you sit up straight.
instead of food, buy something else, a new shirt, flowers, jewelry etc.
Make a list of all the “bad” foods that you crave and tend to binge on. Each day, pick one to take out of your diet that you absolutely, no matter what, cannot eat again. Take one off the list each day until there are no more bad foods you can have.
Avoid alcohol! A shot of liquor has 100-120 calories, a glass of wine has 80 calories, a lite beer has 110-120 calories, and a regular beer has 140-170 calories.
Never eat anything bigger than about a cup, your stomach will expand and then you’ll get hungry more.
Eat in front of a mirror naked. See how much you can eat then!
The smell of coffee is suppose to suppress appetite.
Wear perfectly applied lip gloss. It makes you more aware of what’s going in your mouth. Also, flavored ones help with cravings.
Have 6 small meals a day. Take 2 apples, and split them so you can make 6 meals out of them. That way your body will be tricked into thinking it’s eating more.
Low calorie hot chocolate curbs chocolate cravings, and makes you feel full.
Take anti-heartburn pills if you’re really hungry. They nuetralize the acid that builds and makes you hungry.
Take a picture of yourself wearing a bathing suit or something equally revealing, look at it when you want to eat.
It takes 20 minutes for the brain to realize the stomach is full.
When you get hunger pains curl into a ball, it makes them go away.
If you’re a smoker and hungry, light up a cigarette. It curbs your appetite.
Eat lots of fiber. It makes you feel full and takes fat with it out of your body. The natural cleansing helps improve both your energy level and overall feeling of wellness.
Before you dig into that cake, bag of chips, candy, or whatever, take a deep breath and count to 100. Usually by the time you get to 100 you will have convinced yourself that you don’t really want it.
When you’re hungry chug 2 glasses (or how many you need) of straight water. It’ll make you so full and nauseous you will have completely lost your appetite.
Celery actually burns calories. Every hour eat a stalk of it. Not only will it fill you up, but it will also get your metabolism kickin’.
Weigh yourslef before and after every time you eat. Not only will it eliminate unnecessary eating, but it will make you want to eat less when you see the numbers creep up.
Read the nutritional information. Remember, fat-free does not mean calorie-free. Also keep an eye on fiber content. Get as much fiber into your diet as you can, while cutting fat and calories.
Don’t eat a lot at once. Spread your food throughout the day. This will help to avoid binging and keep your metabolism going.
If you like to drink alcohol, you’ll like this. Make a rule: You can only drink every time you lose 2lbs. So, if you lose 4lbs a week, you can drink Friday and Saturday night. However, if you only lose 2lbs a week, you only get to drink one night.
Do not eat in front of the computer or TV. This distracts you from recognizing you’re full.
Save the money you would have spent on that meal in a jar. Save it in a bottle instead and watch it grow.
Stay away from Slim-fast and other so-called “healthy” candy bars and shakes… one look at the nutition facts will tell you why. With all the carbs and excess calories you may as well go eat a freakin pie or something. Not to mention the rediculous prices… save yourself the money, and the calories.
Instead of buying food, buy yourself flowers. Food is depressing, but flowers make you happy.
When having cravings drink a couple glasses of water with slices of lemons and count to 100 and it should go away.
Eating 100 cals 4 times a day is better than eating a 400 cal meal.
An occasional binge doesn’t hurt, in fact it’s quite beneficial if you have reached a plateau (stopped losing weight). Your body will think you have stopped starving yourself, and you will drop at least a pound overnight! Just don’t binge too regularly!
Someone told me that if you take a pure cold bath for 15-30 min and lower your body temp, your body burns around 200 cals for every degree it has to raise itself to reach a normal body temperture. This person tried it, a 30 min bath lowered their temp about 3-4 degrees
When you want to eat something you shouldn’t, make a list of all the reasons you shouldn’t, and read it 20 times.
006. If you live by yourself, put up motivational pictures or numbers on the unsafe foods. Stick your goal weight to the peanut butter jar.
007. Get one of those three ring binders and make a section for each part of the body. Put all the exercises you’ve got in there according to what body part there for.
008. Pick one food for the day, like an apple. Cut it into 4 quarters. Eat one part for breakfast, one for lunch, one for dinner, and you’ve got one left over for a snack.
009. Take a Polaroid picture of yourself wearing nothing but your underwear. When you want to binge, look at it, and see all that fat that you need to get rid of? Carry it in your wallet whenever you go somewhere where there will be food.
010. If you live by yourself and prone to binges, buy only the food you need for the day. That way if you eat it, there isn’t anymore.
011. Eat with the opposite hand you normally do. Left handed people eat with their right hand, and vice versa.
012. Wear a rubber band around your wrist and snap it when you want to eat. You’ll train yourself not to think about eating.
013. Spend a little time every day on pro-anorexic sites or doing something completely and totally thinspirational.
014. Clean something gross like a litter box when you want to eat.
015. Wear tight tight jeans so you remember how much weight you have to lose.
016. Pour tons of something gross on your food like salt or dish soap so you can’t eat it. (if your eating out, use the former, and say you accidentally put too much salt on, and its too salty)
017. If you get really bad headaches it could possibly be from dehydration so drink lots of water.
018. Eat in front of the mirror. Hell, eat in front of the mirror naked and see how much you want to eat then.
019. Drink herbal teas. They have no calories. If you don’t like them unsweetened, buy some splenda. Or if you’re more in to natural stuff, try stevia, its like sugar, but no cals.
020. When you get the urge to eat chew sugar free gum. Just make sure you keep track of how much you have. Most kinds have 5 calories a piece.
021. Freeze your foods. I freeze yogurt and make ice cubes out of Crystal Lite. Frozen yogurts take forever to eat so you feel occupied longer.
022. When you go to a restaurant order something that’s not too unhealthy. Put half of it in a doggy bag and say your going to eat it tomorrow for lunch. Then eat half of what’s on your plate and “forget” the doggy bag in the
restaurant.
023. Eat breakfast and lunch or just breakfast, never eat dinner cause if you eat dinner you don’t give your body enough time to burn off the calories.
024. Go shopping and try on clothes that you wish you could fit you and that should stop your craving for food.
025. Pinch all your fat if you want to eat and see how disgusting it is and then you’ll think that if you eat you’ll just add more to it and you don’t want that.
026. If you can go to your kitchen and take all the bad foods that you know you will binge on and just throw them away.
027. Make sure you get enough calcium. Take your vitamin.
028. If you sit a lot every hour get up and go crazy start dancing or jumping stupidly or anything like that it will boost your metabolism for a little.
029. Stay away from food and the kitchen there evil!(unless your parents are around, then pretend like you just finished getting a snack)
030. Have you ever noticed that most people who you see eating are fat? Well remember this if you eat like them you’ll be as fat as them.
031. Try to plan how much your going to eat and what there’s a 30% more chance you wont over eat then.
032. Look at supermodels do they look like they eat?! No! So if you REALLY want to look like them them don’t eat.
033. A calorie is a calorie so it doesn’t matter what kind you eat just eat under 1000 and you’ll lose weight.
034. Make a meal plan with all the days and put the limit of calories you’ll allow yourself to after you eat write down what you ate.
035. To keep a binge from coming go outside, do 20 pushups and then 20 jumping jacks after you won’t feel like eating anymore. Better yet, do them in front of the mirror. naked.
036. To boost your metabolism and keep you feeling full drink several green tea’s each day.
037. Every ana should take at least one multivitamin per day, no calories, but essential for every ana.
038. Two tablespoons of vinegar before the meal helps suck the fat out.
039. Caffeine is great ~ it decreases appetite.
040. Peppermint tea or lollies are a great appetite suppressant.
041. Diet Cola, Pepsi or Pepsi Max are 1 cal per can ~ drink, drink, drink…
042. Don’t stop moving’ ~ every cal counts.

Thanksgiving Foods Your Dog Can and Can’t Eat
Tumblr media
Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate and spend time with friends and family. For many people, this also includes the family dog, but which traditional holiday foods are safe for Fido to snack on and which are a big no-no? Here are pooch-approved foods—what you can (and can’t) feed dogs from the family feast.
Foods That Dogs Can Eat
What morsels can you slip your pup as a treat to celebrate the season? Dog-friendly human foods include…
Apples: A great source of fiber and vitamins A and C, apples are a fantastic, tasty treat for any pooch. While your dog will thank you for a few apple slices, never give it the core or seeds, which can be toxic in sufficient quantities.
Bread: As long as your dog doesn’t have an allergy to wheat, plain white or wheat baked bread—that is, without any nuts, seeds, raisins, or spices—is fine as an occasional snack in small amounts, but don’t overdo it. Dogs don’t derive any nutritional benefit from bread and, as with humans, too much can pack on the pounds. Avoid bread with artificial sweeteners or lots of salt and never feed your dog raw (unbaked) bread dough.
Carrots and celery: While you’re preparing the Thanksgiving stuffing, slip your furry friend some spare carrots and/or celery, both of which are low in calories and full of nutrients and vitamins and can even have benefits for oral health. Cut into bite-size pieces to make them easier to digest and to prevent choking.
Cheese: Unless your pooch is lactose-intolerant, cheese is a good choice for an occasional treat, especially if you stick to lower fat varieties like mozzarella. Low- or nonfat cottage cheese is also a great option.
Corn: A common ingredient in many dog foods, corn kernels are perfectly healthy for your dog in small amounts. Don’t ever give them the cob, which can cause choking or intestinal blockages if swallowed.
Green beans: Before you make Homemade Green Bean Casserole for the Thanksgiving meal, you can feel good about giving a few green beans to your dog as a healthy treat. Stick to raw or cooked plain green beans cut into bite-size pieces. Stay away from canned beans with added salt or spices or beans cooked with oils, spices, or other ingredients that aren’t dog-friendly.
Pumpkin: Plain, canned, puréed pumpkin is a good treat that’s gentle on the digestive system. Never give your dog spiced pumpkin pie mixes.
Rice: As long as your dog isn’t allergic to rice or diabetic, cooked white rice is perfectly safe moderation. Avoid brown rice, which is harder to digest.
Turkey: Good news! The star of most Thanksgiving dinners is perfectly safe for dogs, in general—if it is plain, unseasoned, properly cooked, and given in small amounts. White meat is best, as it contains less fat, fewer calories, and more protein. Before preparing a plate for your pooch, be sure to remove any fat or skin and never, ever give them the bones, which can splinter and cause tears or blockages in the digestive tract. Avoid giving your dog any seasoned or processed turkey, which may contain harmful ingredients.
Sweet potatoes: Are a great source of dietary fiber, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and beta-carotene. Sweet potato treats can be as simple as a dehydrated sweet potato chew. Just remember not to give your pet sweet potatoes containing any added ingredients.
Potatoes: You get to enjoy both kinds of potatoes, and your dog can have that option, too. However, give only boiled or baked potatoes with no butter, sour cream, salt, or pepper, and serve in moderation.
Plain peas: Are a fine choice, but creamed peas should be avoided. Fattier food items like creamed peas may upset your dog’s stomach.
Dessert is an option, but not just any kind. Go ahead and satisfy your pet’s sweet tooth with something healthy like frozen yogurt (without artificial sweeteners like xylitol, which is toxic for dogs). Calcium, protein, and live bacteria that can act as probiotics will give your dog a tasty dose of nutrients and a sweet post-meal treat.
Note: For those dogs with food allergies or other health conditions, please check with your vet first. Remember: Any new food might potentially cause digestive issues—introduce it to your dog in small amounts.

Foods That Dogs Can’t Eat
It’s natural to want to share with our furry friends, but there are a lot of holiday drinks, dishes, and desserts that are definitely not dog-friendly. Stay away from:
Alcohol: Alcohol and animals don’t mix. Depending on the size of the dog, even small amounts can result in alcohol toxicity with symptoms that can include drooling, lethargy, weakness, and collapse. If you know that your dog has ingested anything with an alcohol content (even mouthwash!) or is showing any signs of alcohol toxicity, contact a vet immediately.
Chocolate: You’ve probably heard this before, but it bears repeating—Do not feed your dog chocolate. It’s highly toxic (especially the darker varieties) and can cause nausea, diarrhea, abnormal heart rate, seizure, and muscle tremors, among other symptoms. In rare cases, death can occur.
Coffee and tea: You might live for your morning cup of coffee, but dogs are much more sensitive to caffeine’s effects. While a little slurp of coffee or tea likely won’t cause any issues (especially in midsize or larger breeds), contact the vet if larger amounts, grounds, beans, or tea bags have been consumed.
Garlic, leeks, and onions: All parts of all members of the Allium family are highly toxic to dogs. Watch closely any dog that might have eaten a stray garlic clove or slice of onion for symptoms that can include decreased appetite, weakness, lethargy, and fainting. If you notice any of these signs of onion toxicity, contact a vet immediately.
Grapes and raisins: Grapes and their dehydrated cousins are highly toxic to dogs. Even small amounts can cause kidney failure.
Ice cream: As a general rule, dogs do not tolerate high- or full-fat dairy products well. To avoid any gastrointestinal distress but still reward your pup with a cold treat, skip the ice cream and feed them frozen fruit like blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. Another option is nondairy frozen treats specially formulated just for dogs.
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy: Packed with dairy and oh-so-delicious butter, this dish is 100% off limits. Heaping amounts of fat in this beloved side dish are likely to cause gastrointestinal (GI) upset at best—in the form of urgent diarrhea—or pancreatitis at worst.
Gravy is equally harmful and incredibly heavy in sodium and fat.
Because it’s so tasty and requires no chewing, this side dish would likely be lapped up in record time if you leave your plate unprotected. However, there’s a high probability of it coming back up while you’re enjoying your own holiday meal.
Raw yeast dough: While plain, baked bread is fine for your dog, never feed it raw (uncooked) yeast dough, which can cause severe life-threatening bloating. In addition, yeast can ferment in a dog’s digestive system and possibly cause ethanol (alcohol) poisoning.
Meat Fat, Bones and Skin: Turkey carcasses and fat drippings are perhaps a dog’s dream from heaven, but they can cause serious complications for your dog’s gastrointestinal tract.
Dogs should not be offered meat with bones, excess fat, skin or drippings, as these pose grave risk for conditions such as gastrointestinal blockage or injuries. They can also lead to more complex diseases like pancreatitis.
Casseroles and Spreads: While green bean casserole may sound like one of the healthier options on the table, the name is deceiving. Holiday casseroles like this one are laden with heavy creams, butter, oils and salt as well as garlic and onion—both of which are toxic to dogs. Even if a dish is based around a vegetable that is safe for dogs, such as green beans or sweet potatoes, when it falls into the casserole category, it is not one to share with your pup.
Dogs should also not be given dairy products. Avoid the heavy appetizers, such as cheese balls and fatty dips and spreads. Most dogs do not tolerate dairy well, and the holidays are not an ideal time to test the limits of their GI tract.
Stuffing: Stuffing is a fatty, sodium-packed food that contains onions and garlic, which are both toxic to dogs.
Tips for Avoiding an Emergency Vet Trip
It may be the most wonderful time of the year, but you may find yourself making a trip to the emergency veterinarian if your dog indulges in foods from the table.
While there are some healthy holiday food options for dogs, always proceed with caution and only give a little at a time.
Remember, if your dog isn’t acclimated to a variety of foods, introducing multiple people foods at once can be overwhelming to their digestive system.

I saw that you post a lot/reblog about smoothies and nutrition! What is your favorite combo of things for dehydration and nutrients?
Smoothies are easily my favorite way to stay hydrated while getting the nutrients I need. The blades of the blender are like an extra set of teeth (weird image, I know) that help the tired intestines absorb nutrients without the extra work.
Everyone's needs are different, and as you stated, dehydration and malnutrition are two of the biggest problems. Fruits and vegetables that have a large percentage of water weight - like strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, celery, and zucchini - will help with the absorption of necessary fluids. Fruits and vegetables that have a high concentration of nutrients like electrolytes or vitamins, such as bananas, spinach, mangoes, and blueberries, will help combat chronic malabsorption and malnutrition. Don't be afraid to add vegetables to a smoothie - the natural sugars from the fruit will hide any "veggie" taste! (Kale puts up a strong fight, though).
Another staple found in my pantry is a vegan protein powder and raw meal powder. The choice of vegan powder versus animal-based is based on my personal preference and allergies but there are many options available for people of all food preferences! I typically add protein powder to most all of my smoothies. When I am having a particularly rough "flare" day where my illness is exacerbated, I like to add raw meal powder as a meal substitute in the event that I am unable to eat a solid meal. Both the protein powder and raw meal powder can also be added to a simple glass of milk (cow's, almond, oat, you name it!).
I hope this helps! Always remember - a shake is better than skipping a meal. A bite or a sip is better than no attempt to eat at all. You need protein, water, and nutrients for your body to heal. If your pain and/or nausea are holding you back from completely nourishing yourself, your best attempt will always be good enough. Keep up the good work.

''Health''
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Health & wellness.
TOP 10 RESASONS TO EAT MORE FRUITS & VEGETABLES.
Top 10 Reasons to Eat More Fruits and Vegetables
No matter where you look, the food we consume is getting farther away from nature. Grocery store shelves are filled with processed foods with preservatives and additives that are hard to pronounce. When we’re not buying food at the store, it’s a cheeseburger and fries for dinner. When you think about the effect this type of diet can have on your health, it’s troubling. It’s of little wonder the rates of obesity, heart disease, diabetes and other metabolic diseases have increased steadily over the last few years. A spread of many fruits and vegetables you can incorporate into to your diet. To avoid being part of these statistics, you can start bringing your diet more in line with nature, and that means eating more fruits and vegetables. Here are the top 10 reasons that’s a great idea!
1) Fruits and vegetables are a great source of vitamins and minerals. You won’t find a better nutritional source than fruits and veggies, which are packed with vitamins A, C and E, as well as magnesium, zinc, phosphorous and folic acid. For potassium, one of the most important minerals for your health, eat plenty of avocados, sweet potatoes, bananas, prunes and even tomato paste puree.
2) You get to enjoy a variety of flavors and textures. With all their unique and interesting flavors, plant-based foods let you get creative in the kitchen.  You can try strong flavors like onions, olives and peppers, or milder options such as mushrooms and corn. For sweet flavors, fruits like pineapple, grapes or plums are great, while lemons and grapefruits are more sour.
3) Lots and lots of fiber. Most fruits and vegetables have plenty of fiber to fill you up and boost gut health, but some have more than others. Fiber-rich vegetables include artichokes, green peas, broccoli and cauliflower. High-fiber fruits include raspberries, pears, apples and pumpkin.
4) They’re low-calorie and low-fat. On average, fruits and especially vegetables are very low in calories and fat, which means you can eat more to keep you feeling full without worrying about extra calories or fat. You can save more than  200 calories by eating half a cup of grapes versus a fourth of a cup of  M&Ms. That said, there are exceptions, such as avocados, olives and coconuts.
5) Protect against cancer and other diseases. Many vegetables and fruits contain phytochemicals, which are biologically active substances that can help protect against some diseases. That means you can lower your risk of type 2 diabetes, stroke, heart disease, high blood pressure and cancer by adding them into your diet. Specifically cruciferous veggies, such as broccoli, cabbage, collards and watercress, have been linked to reducing cancer risks.
6) Fruits and vegetables help you maintain good health. Because they’re low in saturated fat, salt and sugar, fruits and vegetables are part of a well-balanced diet that can help you lose weight or prevent weight gain. Plus, they can help you decrease inflammation, and lower cholesterol levels and blood pressure.
7) Low in sodium and cholesterol. Fresh fruits and veggies contain only trace amounts of sodium. Many people think that celery is high in sodium, but in fact, one stalk contains a mere 30mg, which contributes 1 percent to the recommended daily value. Cholesterol doesn’t exist in fruits and veggies at all.
8) Fresh, frozen, canned, dried – they’re ALL nutritious. While eating fresh fruits and vegetables may be your preference, there’s not much difference from a nutrition standpoint when you compare frozen, canned or dehydrated products. In fact, most frozen and canned products are processed within hours of harvest, so the nutritional value is locked in quickly.
9) Convenient, quick and easy. Unlike granola bars or crackers, many fruits and vegetables don’t need any packaging. So you can easily grab a banana or an apple as you’re heading out the door.
10) Finally… Smoothies! If you have a blender, all you need is fruit and ice to whip up a delicious smoothie using all of your favorite flavors. And here’s a tip – when you make a fruit smoothie, feel free to throw in as much fresh spinach as you like. Spinach doesn’t start to taste like “spinach” until you cook it. Even kids can’t tell the difference!

Moon in Scorpio
Moon in the Genitals and Anus:Scorpio
Current Moon is in Scorpio:
Moon in Scorpio creates the need to delve into your feelings as deep as possible. You desire meaningful emotional exchanges now more than at any other time even if it is not easy and you are forced to change many things. Shallow relationships do not satisfy you, because they are not purifying enough.
Organs influenced by the current Scorpio Moon Sign:
Organs: Genitals, rectum, anus, urethra, genital glands, ovaries, prostate, pubic bone, genes.
These organs are now more sensitive so provide them with extra care.
Scorpio's cell salt is calcium sulphate, which is the prime ingredient in the repair of tissues and resistance to infectious diseases. The nose, mouth, throat, esophagus, reproductive organs, and intestinal pathways need this mineral for healthy functioning. A deficiency opens the way to colds and sinus infections that hang on forever, skin eruptions which do not heal, and infertility.
Eat : Foods rich in calcium sulphate, which Scorpios should include in their diet, are asparagus, cauliflower, radishes, onions, tomatoes, figs, black cherries, coconuts. Scorpios need calcium food such as milk, cheese, yogurt, and cottage cheese. They should concentrate on a diet high in protein, fresh fruits and vegetables & whole-grain breads. The following are particularly good for Scorpio: fish and seafood, green salads, beets, lentil, almonds, walnuts, citrus fruit, berries, apples, bananas and pineapples.
Don't Eat : Scorpios should not eat large meals, and the evening meal should be light. Bottled spring water is often better for them to drink than regular tap water.Scorpios have a problem handling liquor. Of all the signs in the zodiac, alcohol has the worst and most immediate effects on Scorpio's looks and skin.
SCORPIO IS A WATER SIGN
The water element rules the reproductive and lymphatic systems and body liquids−including blood, mucus and lymph. Water lubricates, flushes and cools the body. Water signs are exceptionally sensitive to their environment, particularly to fungi, bacteria and viruses.
Health issues for water signs generally have a strong emotional component. Water sign people easily pick up negativity from others. They tend to brood on their health and imagine problems to be greater than they are. Their health problems tend to recur in cycles.
Excess Water
These people tend toward sluggish digestion, poor assimilation and slow metabolism. Stagnant excess water may manifest as mucus, cysts, tumors and swellings, as well as systemic candida. Excess water can manifest as weight problems. It is seldom helpful to decrease dietary intake alone. Better results come from increasing the metabolic rate, decreasing the liquid intake, changing the diet and increasing physical activity.Excess Water is balanced by foods that are hot, dry and light.
Take steamed vegetables, beans, fruits.
Avoid oily foods, diary, sweets, yeasty foods, breads and salt.
Remedy sage, basil and thyme, Diuretics such as parsley, uva ursi and juniper berries, Chapparal, garlic and olive leaf
Low Water

Thoughts on subnautica food
Cured spinnerfish
Tumblr media
Tastes like orange juice. Has such a cute lovely design that I absolutely adore. It's rather rare but definitely worth it.
Spicy fruit salad:

This food is goddtier and so op and it looks soooo yummy! I want it more than words can describe.
Cured Artic Peeper:
Tumblr media
The description says cold and salty but that red color makes me thing it kept some of it's moisture and might taste like jerky that wasn't dehydrated long enough which is soooo tastey. I wonder if fish jerky tastes good irl.
Fevered Pepper:
Tumblr media
Such a pretty color and it's literally spicy enough to stop you from freezing to death. I don't think I could handle it irl but it would make an excellent ingredient paired with other things the way it is in the salad.
Preston's Delight
Tumblr media
The description of this one says it's delightful to some so I like to imagine it's rather bitter and firmer than it looks. I think I'd have complex feelings about it irl but I'd definitely be at least TRYING it.
Lantern fruit:
Tumblr media
This one is also supposed to bring up your body heat. But it doesn't describe it's flavor at all. This is likely because it is a real fruit. They are very sour and acidic. And when they're ripe they can be rather tangy. It is also high in vitamin C.
List of things that I think are stupid to eat unless you're like insanely hungry or something:
Creepvine sample
Tumblr media
Basically no nutritional value. +3 food +2 h2o. Why would you eat this this is like pulling the plants out of the lake and taking a bite. I'd honestly rather eat clippings from my fish tank.
Creepvine seed cluster:
Tumblr media
Literally this isn't even food. It only gives you h2o points. It is oily and full of silicone are you stupid? Not gonna taste good and you'd probably get a nasty high not unlike Sokka's cactus juice.
Gel Sack:
Tumblr media
You'd have to be an idiot to eat this. It is WAY too valuable to just fucking eat up and it gives you barely any nutritional value STUPID. It's literally an ingredient to aerogel in the game.
Alright back on to the normal list
Frost Anemone Heart:
Tumblr media
I'll be honest, I didn't realize this was food. I've been waiting all game to figure out what kind of electronic it'd be used for. It's not that nutrious but it's very hydrating. I imagine it tastes like a slimy fushion of artichoke and celery.
