what do you think about the argument that rin & haru are astrologically incompatible? (I saw mhs use it a lot)

lol we literally just a few days ago discussed it with@tododeku-or-bust

1. Just bc I know that in animes they do pay attention to it, back in the days we already been through this. I again won't force it on anyone, but I'm pretty sure from all the things they said it's clear as day that the creator's idea behind rinharu Aquarius/Cancer relationships in Free! is this:

"free to actually be themselves instead of living in a symbiotic relationship" get it get it? this was openly said in books and is the point of the anime too, as I said before in this post, anime is full of unsubtle things, showing who makes Haru feel how and what.

Haru is one of those people, who won't settle for someone who doesn't make him feel ALL OF THAT, he simply won't. And he can't be happy like that, that's the point. If he could, he'd already be there.

Wangxian for example are also what they call astrologically incompatible. And while it's true that with wangxian and harurin its a tougher battle bc of their personalities, bc its hella hard for them to get there bc they communicate like:

- I just wanna be with you.

- Oh I get it, so you wanna fight?

But that also as they say in zodiac mean that when they finally sort things out its the most satisfying love in existence that will last forever, bc they make each other strikingly happy and they can't get enough of that feeling.

These two ships sometimes remind me this song thats called "sink or swim" by tyrone wells, you know. (kamikaze airplanes in the sky, are we going down or will we fly? this could be a shipwreck on the shore or we could sail away forevermore). It's really all or nothing for them.

2. I have to tell you a hilarious story. I'm personally not a horoscope believer myself, like to me it doesn't make much sense, bc of what I've seen, but if anyone is interested here's the funny thing. I've only realized it after this talk and that made me go like "oh shit maybe it is true" a bit lmao bc we couldn't stop laughing with my sister.

So my parents are divorced. My mom is also Cancer, born June 29th (Haru June 30th) and my dad is a Scorpio (October 26th) LMAO. Yeah, yeah xD. They're still friends, it wasn't like a loud angry divorce or anything. I've asked them, they allowed to share. So the thing is. My mom didn't care for love, she just wanted kids a lot (she always loved kids, she's a teacher and you know I have two sisters, she had my elder sister very young and it was like knowingly and deliberately), she started dating my dad, bc she said he felt secure to have a kid with, not bc she was in love with him (yeah, kind of a dick move, since my dad liked her very much from the beginning but well). They got divorced for many reasons, like bc my dad is very conservative (well, its Russia and u know he was raised that way, he's religious and superstitious and all that), while my mom is very open minded etc etc, and there's this hilarious thing, I'm not gonna say, but my god its literally too close to a certain bad part of someone's relationships; but yeah, there were lots of things (some were TMI info for my poor ears when I once got drunk with my dad in a hotel), but shortly they just couldn't make each other happy.

And my mom, you know her already from her apartment being a wangxian shrine. She adores both wangxian and harurin. And the saddest part to me in this, was always the fact that while we were watching this, what she said is that she was jealous of them, bc she never had someone who could make her feel that way. And while we were talking once, she did say that it doesn't mean that she didn't love my dad at some point, but she said that she never once been in love in her life, but again like her goal in life was to have me and my sisters, so...

So my point is, it's true that not everyone in their life can find that kind of thing, and hell not everyone in their life want to find that kind of thing. No Haru, no Lan Zhan for example didn't try to find it, it just fell on them. They of course were offended at first, bc like who wants their world to be turned upside down and suddenly want all that? It's like I was fine, bitch. But as soon as they leave... and they're like "oh I guess I can go back to my old way", they already fucking can't. After they tasted how it can be, their previous way of living is already no fun for them and they can't forget it and cant let it go.

So like in my opinion considering the fact that this show's theme is being in love means being free, you gotta understand that it is what it is. Like ofc we're all different and everyone is looking for different things, plus everyone has different life views and goals and not for everyone it makes sense. I'm very in Haru's state of mind of "yeah, I don't need it, I love my personal space, like I don't find the need in a relationship per se, like I'd rather be alone, than with someone who makes me feel nothing or not enough". But I get that some people just don't want to be alone and some stuff for them is enough as long as it's calm and they don't see "why would you want to try so hard for love".

But yeah, the point is Haru is Haru. Like we have to take into account here the way he is, not you are. I guess you can argue if Makoto would have a chance if Rin didn't exist (to me it's a no, bc even before him entering the picture in the book its not good, like it said stuff like that each time Makoto tried to help Haru, he made him feel as if he was disabled and he hated that feeling and etc etc, so they just never clicked to me even before Rin), but it's true that the moment Rin entered the chat for Haru it was over. The moment he felt what he felt with him, there was no turning back. You can fight about it all you want, but thereality is even if Rin died and Haru would get with Makoto (which I don't think he would again, since I know to him its either all or nothing, but also even if he tried, I still think it would fall apart eventually), it would be a flop and just unfair to Makoto, too, so again in this particular story I do not see, why anyone would even want that for either of them.

So yeah, if you read closely about the meaning behind their compatibility but apply it to Free!, you'll get what they meant by that. And again as you see, its not that simple. Sometimes they reverse it. And that is definitely the case here, bc in several places it says that no matter how hard it is for Cancer to get it on with Aquarius at the end, it's worth it, bc only he can make him feel fully free and reach all the happiness and potential in life.

3. Also remember like that all people are different in real life, it depends on what they want and their character. So it's like what kind of Cancer, Aquarius and Scorpio you are.

I mean, even in fiction just bc WWX & LZ is a perfect combination, doesn't mean JC & LZ are too, just bc they're the same signs, right? You have to consider personal qualities, views on life and etc. Whats good for one, might be complete disaster for another. So I'm always arguing from the point of who Rin and Haru are and what they want. But since its fiction that clearly takes it into consideration and is all about meanings and stuff... my point still stands. Rin is the Aquarius who can make Haru fly, both in life and in his heart and they certainly won't let go of each other no matter how hard it is for them to get there. And once they do, they're it for each other.

P.S. Also in my opinion some ppl do not quite get what "incompatible" really means when it comes to a romantic relationships. I'm tired of those stupid arguments like "if they fight once a year, it means they're not meant to be" lmao right ok excuse us for the fact that we actually care too much about not being able to spend an extra hour together and can't confess. 🌚

P.P.S. my point is "astrologically incompatible" tbh ain't even an argument unless you back it up with smth, it all depends on the context of the characters and the story.

My thoughts but mostly my feelings.

This is the 3rd time posting these. Idk how but they keep getting deleted. 3rd times the charm?

*****TROUBLED BLOOD SPOILERS AHEAD******

Okay so I am going to start with the non ship stuff first because once that begins I will become slightly incoherent lol

• I love Barclay. He is so freaking funny. His friendship with Robin is everything. “You need to learn to read the room, mate.” I think he will be coming for Ilsa’s number one spot on the “Cormoran & Robin Shipper” list soon. 

• Speaking of Ilsa “It’s Robin’s birthday, you total dickhead.” I love it so much. Hoping for a miracle baby for her and Nick next book.

• I enjoyed the case. The characters seemed so developed and realistic. I really didn’t see the murderer coming. I also loved how it brought up why we trust certain people without a second thought. 

• I had very few disappointments in this book (besides not having a kiss which I wasn’t truly expecting) but my 2 were 1. That Strike didn’t go to his Dad’s party. Idk I really wanted that for his character even if he ever does reconcile with him it won’t be at a public event, I just really wanted to him to go and of course bring Robin. 2. That Robin wasn’t at Joan’s funeral. The flowers were lovely though. 

• Speaking of Joan <3 <3 <3 “I wish I had met your Robin.” I cried. I think it was really important for Strike to know Joan was proud of him and that he can think of that and her when he looks at the ocean. 

• Delving in to Strike’s psyche more was amazing. Learning more about his childhood. His mixed emotions about Leda. Yes. Yes. Yes. 

• I also loved Robin’s journey in this book. I’m also about to turn 29 and in a transition point in my life and how people kept saying “she was traveling in a different direction than the rest of us” really resonated with me. 

• I’m super excited about Michelle joining the agency. Robin needs another female coworker. Speaking of, I love what Pat brings to the team, especially her dynamic with Strike.

• I CHEERED when Strike manipulated Creed like that will be awesome on screen.

OKAY NOW TO THE SHIP STUFF * cracks knuckles *

• I don’t think I have every loved a literary couple this much. The way JK manages to grow and develop their relationship each book sighhh 

• THE AMOUNT OF TIMES I shouted “COMMUNICATE YOU IDIOTS” WHILE READING THIS BOOK lol but they do and when they do sighhhhh okay sorry can’t skip to the end

• I find it really funny that in a group chat on here I said I wanted holiday fluff L O L

• I was so upset for Robin on her 29th. I can’t believe he forgot but BOYYYY DID HE MAKE UP FOR IT

• Okay so let’s start the holiday fuck ups: Christmas

What a classic man. Waiting the last minute to buy presents and agonizing over it. Then he’s going to buy her perfume which just so happens is exactly what she wanted on her birthday (and yes he gets a major hint from Ilsa but still). 

AND THEN HE PANICS because picking perfume for someone is pretty intimate and he was basically delirious because of fever AND HE GETS HER CHOCOLATES sighhhh I felt so bad for how stupid he was unknowingly being. 

Her gift for him is so thoughtful and the only thing that cheers up his miserable Christmas <3

• Next, bloody Valentine’s Day: What a disaster. Robin finally lets out her frustrations on him and I think he was genuinely shocked. She had NEVER said anything like that to him. Strike has said several times how he appreciates “Robin being the only woman in his life who wasn’t trying to change him.” He thought she had no complaints because she kept quiet. It wounds him.

“And don’t buy me any more fucking flowers!” I was so worried he would take this as wanting no romantic gestures but he didn’t <3 and they even joke about it later <3

Then he thinks women never want him to apologize first (really Cormoran???) and isn’t going to call first BUT HE DOES he calls and it’s kind of a lame apology but HE CALLS FIRST. 

• The banter the entire book was amazing because GUYS THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS.

• TIME FOR CHAPTER 58: “Romantic Whiskey in the Dark” aka THE BEST CHAPTER TILL 73 The intimacy, honesty, and vulnerability of this scene * clutches chest *

“I’d like to go to the Ritz please”… lol little did we know

He finally tells her about his Dad and half siblings pestering him. He even tells her about his childhood (y’all I couldn’t believe it). Picturing young Cormoran with too short pants, anxious to meet his Dad, and then the crushing realization that he didn’t want to see him. Then him calling Strike an accident in front of him. My heart broke.  

Robin FINALLY asks him about Charlotte and he tells her about her overdose and how much anxiety that was giving him.

I feel like typing Strike’s entire inner monologue starting with “How could he say, look, I’ve tried not to fancy you since you first took off your coat in this office…” but just do yourself a favor and read Chapter 58 again (I’ll be reading it & 73 at least 5 times each today lol).

Then he brings up Ilsa trying to set them up. * flails *

They talk about Matthew and Sarah because they are sharing. And guys, sharing is truly caringggg.

Then they have the conversation about wanting to have kids. (I have a few idk meta? thoughts about all the foreshadowing in this book about them having a kid together).

I absolutely love how Robin calls him out on his “self-indulgence.” I’m not saying Strike will ever change his mind about kids but I loved that she challenged his reasoning. They are so perfect together I swear.

Then he calls her his best friend. And Robin dies. And I DIED. It was so perfect and genuine. Her response was so cute because she was so taken aback. 

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT

Then they both start thinking about the bed that is MEARLY UPSTAIRS AND I THINK I PASSED OUT FOR A BIT.

Seriously guys CHAPTER 58 IS EVERYTHINGGGGG

• I loved how they had an honest conversation about Strike’s protectiveness of her while on the job. 

• Strike chastising himself for considering/wanting to buy her a stuffed donkey <3

• “Ya but you’re exceptional.” He so casually makes Robin’s heart soar. It is perfect. 

• OKAY I THINK I’M READY TO DISCUSS ROBIN’S 30TH I NEVER and I mean NEVER COULD HAVE IMAGINED THIS FOR THEM

hello everyone! finals + anxiety are totally beating my ass right now, but i still want to do some stuff for the event!! so, this post is a plot call!! i’m going to describe what my three kids’ll be up to during the event/some thread ideas, and if you see anything in particular you’d like to snatch up, just let me know via dms or replies! and if you’d like me to come to you, please hit the like button! i know i’ve been slacking on plotting with new people over the last couple of weeks, but i’d love to, so :pleading_face: maybe this event is a good spot to start. also, if you want my d!scord, hmu for it! i find it a little easier to reply on there through my anxiety.

minhee

minhee is so pleased about this whole thing!! she hate hate hates her mother’s stupid christmas and new year events, but this year! she won’t even be in seoul!! suck on that, mom! a little sad that she won’t be with mouse because she got her a really cute cat christmas present stocking ):

dec 25th: concert day! minhee is excited for it. she always loves concerts!! excited to be performing little touch. not much else to say here, but come hang out with her backstage!

dec 26th: minhee needs a roommate so! if your muse is looking for a roommate who probably won’t be spending that much time in the suite, then minhee is your gal!

during the afternoon, she’ll probably hit up the italian restaurant, and then head off for a spa day, to be finished off soaking in a hot tub!! someone please join her <3 

holiday ball!! she’s excited to go to an event like this with co-workers and friends instead of her parents and their high society frenemies. someone come drink and decorate cookies with her, it’ll be so fun, i promise!!

dec 27th: she’ll probably spend her free day in the pool and the hot tubs again, and eat at the korean / american bbq grill restaurant! after docking, she’ll definitely be going out to visit taipei! she’ll do some shopping, drop her bags off at her suite, and then head back out to take in some nightlife. if anyone’s muses are interested in partying with minhee during their free night, hmu!

dec 28th: today.... will be minhee’s own personal hell. she drew the red card, which means she’s going to... have ... she’s... going to... have to cook. on top of that, she’ll probably be hungover too. somebody please help her and stick her on like washing up duty or something.

she’ll be back to her regular self by the time they’re backstage at the concert again though, don’t worry!

dec 29th: on the 29th, minhee is gonna treat herself to an all she can eat meal at the sushi restaurant! but otherwise, today she’s just going to be exploring all the different parts of the ship she hasn’t been to yet so there’s nothing there!!

dec 30th: she drew blue, finally! minhee is always down for more spa time. i think she’ll go for the free mani-pedi, so if anyone wants to chat shit with minhee over getting their nails done, now is your chance! 

her free time this evening will be spent... in the bar again, but also in the game room maybe!! she’s shitty at card games and always tries to cheat, so if anyone wants to hang out or tell her off for cheating, come on downnn.

dec 31st: concert will go well, as per usual!!

new year’s party!! minhee will be very drunk ringing in the new year, v excited for the fireworks, and probably in search of someone to kith at midnight. 

jan 1st: luckily, lipstick’s fansign isn’t until the afternoon, and... that’s the first time anyone will see minhee that day. she’ll be sleeping off the results of the previous night for as long as she can get away with. lipstick members, fuse members and gal.actic members, i’m sorry for her crankiness already.

eunah

the christmas season this year is a pretty big deal for eunah, even though she’ll be spending it like this. it marks the one year anniversary of her starting to get help for her eating disorder, so she’ll probably be in a kind of funny mood as she thinks back on the year and how far she’s come.

dec 25th: excited for the concert, especially since 7rophy’s set is over pretty early in the show. she’s hoping to just relax backstage for the rest of the show.

dec 26th: eunah’s going to room with lux because... why wouldn’t she. her having a roommate doesn’t really matter too much though because she’ll just sleep, wake up, leave for the day, repeat. she won’t be spending any time in the room anyways.

she drew red for her card for the 26th!! eunah actually likes decorating, so she’ll probably be enjoying herself well enough. unfortunately she’s tiny so if anyone tall would please help her reach some stuff, that would be much appreciated.

she probably won’t spend the whole time at the holiday ball!! she’ll mingle around for a couple of hours and then dip out to rack up charges on her bill as she sets about calling her family back home. 

dec 27th: i think eunah’s going to spend the 27th curled up in the library for the most part!! she’ll probably duck out to go for sushi if anyone wants to join her, but mostly she’s just going to relax, read, and maybe work on some lyrics.

she’ll probably head out to taipei during the evening though to do some light shopping, but that’s about it there! (unless anyone wants to drag her along to anything.) 

dec 28th: on the 28th, eunah is very happy that she hardly bought anything the prior evening, because she drew the blue card! she does really love shopping, so someone come with eunah for a treat yourself moment! 

same as the previous concert, she’ll get 7rophy’s set out of the way and spend the rest of the time relaxing.

dec 29th: eunah will be spending the 29th moving between the library, the games room, the observation lounge, and, of course, the sushi restaurant. just a chill day!! maybe she’ll go to the spa for a massage, if anyone would like to join her. she’s always apprehensive going for one, but they help her a lot. 

dec 30th: eunah drew red, so that means she’ll be cleaning! she’s surprisingly hardy when it comes to cleaning, so she won’t be shying away from anything. maybe she’ll convince your muse to scrub a bit harder? or... once again... she’ll probably need help reaching some shit. 

dec 31st: you guys know her concert routine by now.

i think!! eunah will actually allow herself to have some fun and get drunk at the new year’s party! she’s a big lightweight, so it won’t take much. does anyone wanna come to the theatre with her?? preferably any other musical kid?? so they can drunkenly sing theatre duets together!!

jan 1st: she’ll put on her best smile for 7rophy’s fan sign, but she’ll probably not be in the most... energetic mood. or whatever eunah’s version of energetic is. she’ll be amicable though, as per usual!! wish, 7rophy or silhouette members please come get a coffee with her while they’re waiting around.

dowoon

dowoon is pretty neutral about the whole thing!! as per usual, he’s just vibing. he doesn’t really care about christmas. can’t help but cringe at some of the spectacle people get up to when it comes to like extreme amounts of lights, so he’s happy enough to be somewhere that at least feels like it has a right to be decorated.

dec 25th: dowoon will put his best foot forward at the concert, like he always does! after charm’s set, you can probably find him facetiming his dog. 

dec 26th: dowoon is rooming with yeonggi because they are bffs!! stan dogi <3 

after that dowoon is headed to the pool, courtesy of the blue card he drew! kinda wishes he drew yellow instead but he likes swimming well enough, and will probably enjoy playing games!! someone come race in the pool w/ him maybe. 

he’s honestly most excited to try all the different restaurants, and will be starting with the french fine dining one because he thinks he’ll like it the least. 

doesn’t really care much about the holiday ball, but a party’s a party, he supposes, so whatever. 

dec 27th: today dowoon is checking out the sushi restaurant!! 

aside from that, he’s just relaxing in his suite LOL

will go out to get something to eat and maybe a couple of drinks in taipei in the evening though, if anyone wants to join him. 

dec 28th: dowoon drew blue again!! he’s not big into shopping for himself (at all), so i think he’s going to use the money to pick out some nice gifts for his parents and his dog, and maybe something small for himself.  

then it’s concert time! dowoon does his dance, he’s great, that’s all there is to know. 

dec 29th: the next restaurant on dowoon’s list is the italian place!! again looking for a food critic partner in crime xoxo

otherwise, dowoon will probably just be vibing in various places around the ship. god, he is so boring. 

dec 30th: dowoon drew yellow, and he’ll be sneaking off to join the red team to clean! he’s a decent actor and is known to work by himself a lot, so i don’t think he’ll be that suspicious. 

last restaurant today!! the korean and american bbq grill. he left it for last because he knew he was guaranteed to enjoy it. 

dec 31st: concert. hit hit hit hit sound.

new year’s party!! omg i am opening the floor to something inch resting if anyone has even read this far........ who wants to kith at midnight? but like not in the fun minhee way, maybe in a kind of emo we drank together for the last couple of hours on the observatory deck way and now we are kissing because it’s the new year. but like also dowoon does not like to Feel so he’ll probably be like “bye” and just fucking leave right after. nice one bro this is why you don’t get any.

jan 1st: dowoon holds his alcohol pretty well, so he’ll be fine for the fan sign, but if any of the members from charm, origin or mars need a pick me up, he doesn’t mind giving them some painkillers or whatever.

I made a few references to this in the last few weeks, but had been waiting for October 30th (or after lol) to talk about it. When we had the #CheesePups here, we had three total pups - two males (#Roquefort and #Humphrey) and one female (#Brie). I decided to let Brie live with her brothers for a bit longer. I always let my litters run on a few extra days (2-4 days or so). I consulted another experienced breeder to get her opinion and was told to hard split at 5wks. Perfect! The night Dia was due to give birth (October 13th, 31 days old for the Cheesies) I went see how she was. When I got up to go back to the couch, I looked down to see Roque on his sister. Queue My Epic Meltdown. I shoved him away, collected Brie, and moved her into a different enclosure. This is behaviour I have NEVER seen in such young pups. Leaving pups for 31, even 32 days has been something I've been doing for YEARS. Never once in my six years of breeding have we ever had such young siblings even show interest in each other! I knew they were too young to be fertile (likely), but my best option was to treat Brie as if she was pregnant just in case. So, we counted 16 days (October 29th, 30th in the clear) and I kept track of her weight. Thankfully, October 29th came and went, and no pups arrived. Phew. Ultimately though, this is my fault. As much as Roque and I are still not on speaking terms, it's not his fault that he tried to become Jaime Hammister. It was my confidence/arrogance thinking I could leave them a few extra days and be totally fine. So, we won't be leaving my pups past 30 days again. I have felt SO horribly guilty the past few weeks, especially knowing that it was 100% my fault. Learning from my mistakes is important to me. Sharing my mistakes, and helping others learn is equally important. My transparency and honesty with adopters and followers is something that I hold very dear. I am very relieved that Brie is baby-free, especially as she's become such a favourite of mine. She's a sweet, gregarious little bean. how I became friends with brandon rogers: not clickbait

i’ve been making some more brandon friends on here, and I realized that a lot of y’all don’t know my story. I would love to tell it here! for those of you that don’t know him or care, feel free to scroll past lol

2015/2016

I actually found his channel through his first youtubers react episode in december of 2015, but I clicked away because his videos looked stupid to me, lol. after watching the teens react to try me bench, I clicked on a video for the first time (grandpa hates valentimes) in late june of 2016. I grew obsessed QUICKLY. like, I was a full-blown stan in the matter of a few days. I made my fan account on july 7, 2016. unfortunately, the account was taken down by instagram this year. anyway, I also started a youtube channel and made a video for him for his 28th birthday. he saw it and commented:

“Thank you for making this! I was a theater kid too for many, many years!!! I’m glad you’ve been able to find inspiration, never give up on your dreams!! I worked many shirt jobs for 10 years before any success, and would’ve done so for the rest of my life until I did!”

a few months later, I got some friends together and made another video for his 2 million subscriber milestone. he also saw this one and commented:

“Wow, I can’t believe I have such amazing fans who would’ve taken the time to make this for me!! Thank you SO much!!! I’m so happy to hear that people are finding friends through my videos, that’s amazing!!!! ❤️❤️❤️thanks for making this, to all of you!! Much love from the bottom of my heart!!! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!”

the rest of 2016 was pretty boring, so we’ll skip to 2017!!

2017

for those of you that don’t know, playlist live is a 3-day youtube convention in orlando, florida. I begged my mom to go every year since 2014, and she finally let me go this year. this also was the first year brandon attended!! I decided to make him a jar filled with reasons why his fans loved him, and I gave it to him at the event. I met him for the very first time on may 6, 2017 in the lobby at playlist.

our meet-and-great was scheduled for may 7, so we also met then.

the next day coming home, I just assumed he would forget about me and move on. I was wrong! I received this dm from him over facebook messenger:

I was SHOOK!! I felt so happy that I was able to help him that much when he was going through a hard time. anyway, the next thing I did was make the 3 million subscriber special video and 29th birthday video. he only saw the first one and commented:

“Wow, how have I not seen this yet?!? Thank you so much to each of you for making this video for me!!! This really touched me ☺️ thank you!!!!!!!”

in august, he finally accepted my friend request on facebook!! this was insanely cool because he obviously has a much smaller audience there, and I was able to get his attention easier and work towards really becoming his friend. with our facebook friendship, brandon was able to start to get into my personal life, which was really cool. he commented the nicest well-wishes when I came out of surgery and even wished me a happy birthday!! this year was also when I started working on my next present for him: the book of brandon. this book incorporated fan art, letters, and more. I was able to give it to him at playlist live 2018, so you’ll see me mention this later. onto 2018!!

2018

the beginning of the year started off quite strong, with my debate teacher giving us the assignment to write a speech about our hero. I did not hesitate to write a LONG speech about brandon and post it here. he saw it and commented:

“Thank you for this, it touched my heart and I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t seen this video until now!! Feeling the love!!”

a few months later, playlist live 2018 rolled around!! before our meetup on april 28, 2018, I jokingly said to my mom, “what if he was just like, ‘oh hey sophie!’?” sure enough, that is EXACTLY what he said as soon as he saw me! the full video of this meetup can be found here, but I’ll summarize if you’re too lazy to watch it. he immediately thanked me for my speech, obsessed over the book I made for him, and basically talked to me like we were good friends. it was MAGICAL.

I didn’t think I would be seeing brandon again in 2018. well, I was wrong. his tour came around, and he announced a performance in tampa, florida on july 15. I was ECSTATIC. unfortunately, I was out of good sentimental ideas for gifts. I made him a wall calendar full of bad pictures of him, as well as a friendship necklace and a letter. at the show, he was looking for audience participation to come up onstage and act out a “fake date.” when he saw me, he said, “omg, this is one of my biggest fans! miss sophie, I recognize you! please come up here.” I was able to watch his entire show from the stage, and even drank from a glass he took a huge sip out of. at the meet-and-greet, we talked just like good friends once again and he gushed about my gifts and videos. he even bragged about me to my parents!

with august rolling around, I made another video for his 30th birthday. of course, he saw and commented. I think this one was his favorite!

a month later, when I was sick in bed, I got the greatest news. brandon was coming to florida AGAIN! this time on november 25 in ft. lauderdale. I couldn’t believe he would schedule two tour stops in florida! this was also his very last stop, so it was a very special show. still out of big gift ideas, I made him a basket filled with lots of small gifts. at every tour stop, he would do a q&a for 10-15 minutes. as soon as he saw me in the audience while starting the q&a, he said “oh my gosh. this is sophie everyone...” I wish I could remember everything he said, but he mentioned how much I’ve done for him as a fan. even though he wasn’t planning on bringing anyone up onstage, he asked me to come onstage with him and help him with the q&a. brandon gave me the power of picking who he would come to in the audience, as well as asking me to answer some of his questions and really including me through the whole process. he even told me he would love to have me in a video!!! pure magic. I have clips of video from this show, so dm me if you would like to see them!!

the last thing that happened in this year was him wishing me a happy birthday again. onto 2019!!

2019

the main thing I’ll be talking about in 2019 is playlist live because that’s the main interesting event of this year so far. a few days before the event, rachel williams (his manager) gave me her phone number to coordinate with them to hang out there!! I made him a big gift bag because I was STILL out of ideas for bigger gifts. on march 2, we had our meetup. he asked the meetup attendant if he could have some extra time with me because I’m “one of his biggest fans”. he then proceeds to tell me...

“I got something for you!”

WHAT? he gives me the gift, and I give him his. we talk briefly before the attendant ushers me along. the two other people there were jon cozart and mac kahey, who both said to me “oh YOU’RE sophie! brandon was telling us all about you!” WHAT? it was a lot to process.

I open the gift and see that he has given me THE shirt BOOK from stuff & sam, THE HEART from blame the hero, a stuff & sam shirt, and a card!!! WHAT? again, a lot to process.

unfortunately, I never got to hang out with brandon and rachel because I got really sick the next day. however, they were both so understanding and carved out a few minutes to see me before I left!!

overall, this year, we have become a lot more comfortable with each other both in person and online, really talking just like friends. I am so incredibly grateful for him and everything he has done over the years.

April 2019🌦

Wow, April 1st and so much has already happened. There were 4 fights today. The first one was 2 guys on the back stairwell I didnt know. The second one was Eugene punching Michael in the jaw over minecraft. And the last two happened on my bus. We sat on the side of the road for an hour until we were cleared to leave. The cops showed up and apparently it's a big deal. After the first fight on the bus, a kid jumped out the window and ran home. Over all pretty entertaining cause I've never actually seen a real fight before (only been in them). My mom and dad also dropped of my moms bestfriend to prison in Dallas today. It was really hard on both of them. We know she'll be back soon, its not that long.

April 4th, I almost punched Kelly in class cause she wouldnt stop talking shit :)

April 9th, Yesterday we did Staar rotations. I hung out with Scott and Blake the entire time. Since I got Scott's snap we've been texting alot and I found he likes me.

April 10th, I told Calvin I thought we needed a 1 week break and now hes threatening to break up with me. Scott's helping me through it so I'm ok.

April 12th, Scott and I facetimed yesterday and after that we played Zombies with Seth. It was fun but I kept having to go help my mom and dad with something. Today he walked me to my first class which is Geometry. I think its extremely obvious he likes me. It's cute tho, Kaylie approves.

I have been thinking about this alot recently and I feel like its the right thing to do. I’m gonna break up with Calvin when 8th period starts. I just cant wait to do it later, it’s killing me inside. I am doing it over text because I genuienly feel like my life would be in danger if I told him in person. I’ll let you know how I goes and how he reacts. Wish me luck.

April 14th, I forgot to report how the breakup with Calvin went. Honestly went better than I expected. I'm glad we broke up, that was a really toxic relationship.

April 15th, OMG OMG OMG ok. this happened like 10 minutes ago so bare with me I'm still a little bit shook. Sooooo Scott took me to the back of the stairs by the Geometry and Art hall and KISSED ME! KISSED! ME! It was very sudden and at one point my braces got in the way but it's fine, we dont talk about it. After that we were walking down the stairs he said "well since that happened I might as well ask you now instead of after school, would you do the honors of being my girlfriend?" obviously I said yes cause hi, I like him, we just kissed. I immediately texted Kaylie. Scott now knows I tell Kaylie literally everything about anything. I cant help it, she is my bestest friend in the entire world. She knows everything about my life and she has always been there for me. My stomach doesnt feel good so ima take a quick nap until 1st period is over.

bitch even MORE SHIT has happened! first of all, Scott walked me to every one of my classes today which was super sweet. When the last bell rang Scott and I met up and just walked around school since we were both staying after. We just went up and down stairwells and kissed for a little then went outside by the bus ramps. When we got their we started kissing again, then talked and hugged, then walked around. Imagine that but legit 15 times. One time we were kissing and he picked me and continued to kiss me. When it was time for me to go we walked past all of our baseball and football friends. They were all cheering him on and congratulating him. We walked to the front of the school then my mom arrived. We hugged and kissed goodbye and that was it. We've been talking since.

I found out Izzy likes this girl and I'm so proud of him. He seems so happy and he blushed when I was talking to him about her. I'm so happy for him :')

Scotty told me hes my new addiction to stop my original. hes funny thinking I can stop.

April 16th, I had to go to a mandatory drill team meeting today. I'm worried i might not be able to tryout cause my grades are too low for me to bring up. It's fine tho. idc anymore.

April 17th, I get to hang out with Scotty after school today again

skrt skrt its 7:37. Scott and I hung out where we did last time. We basically watched Infinity War and made out the entire time. There were alot of people around cause everyone was getting their physical. Gage saw us but idc about that. I think around 2 hours ago Scott texted me but as soon as I got home I passed out. He said his mom found out about us dating and i was nervous. He said he was getting out of the car and his phone turned on and both his lock screen and home screen is us and his mom saw. She said I was cute and he had good taste. Glad his mom approves lol, now I just gotta tell mine. I was planning on it when she comes back from San Antonio later this week but we will see.

April 20th, wow I haven't done this in awhile sorry lol. Today I went to my friend Jaydens house and went swimming. It was really fun. She keeps wanting me to talk to her cousin Seth who is the same ago as me. Little does she know I have a boyfriend UwU.

April 21st, its 1:08 in the morning lol. Scotty got abssss. I'm not complaining, it's a weakness of mine lol.

April 22nd, yesterday was Easter and it was pretty fun. I went to my cousins house and hung around 2 goats and like 50 chickens. I keep telling my parents I want a goat and they said I'll get one one day, it would just have to stay at my grandma's house.

I'm done trying to fix something this broken. I've cried too many tears over you. I'm done.

April 25th, Scotty and I stayed up till midnight watching Netflix on facetime together. We got it to where it was timed perfectly so it was like we were watching it together. I’m hanging out with him after my fashion show rehersal after 4 until 5:15-5:30. I feel way happier and amazing now that I am with him. He makes me happy uwu. A couple days ago Kaylie showed me these socks on Amazon that she really wanted and i’m gonna suprise her with a pair of them tomorrow. I bought 2 pairs so that we could be matching and cause they are super cute. I am kinda nervous about it idk why. I know she is gonna love them. I like giving gifts to my friends, especially Kaylie cause she is my bestfriend and I would do anything for her to be happy.

April 26th, I went to see Avengers End Game with Jesse and Evan and it was the best movie I have ever seen, I get to see it next monday which is amazing. I gave Kaylie her shiba socks this morning and she loved them of course. I’m happy I had the chance to get her something she wanted. Scott and I were sitting and lunch and Carlos sprayed his water bottle everywhere. It scared me alot lol.  

April 28th, first of all...friday....hottest thing ever omg. I went on a trail thing yesterday and it was fun ig. I'm at my grandparents house and everyone wants me to make food??? like why??? I'm lazy and I just wanna sit on my phone looking at memes. uuggghhh. I'm supposed to be getting my nose peircing today but I seriously doubt that will be happening. My mom keeps saying shes gonna take me but it never happens.

April 29th, I was supposed to get my permit today huy I didnt have my ssc so we gotta do it tmrw. I'm on ft with Scott and his cousin Maria is adorable and I love her

April 30th, I got my permit this morning and now I'm about to cry. Mrs.Clary is stressing me the fuck out and I cant handle it anymore.

August 27th - CHEW volunteer, met Ayham and we got along pretty well. Went to the dining hall for dinner with him, then later went to the tie dye event with him and a few of his roommates/friends. Went to first party (lasted ten minutes) then went with Ayham to 212 and met the Spaniards. Went back to 251 and talked with for a couple hours.

August 28th - had lunch with Ayham and Max in the dining hall. Later that night walked around Nipisiy for a few hours, because of first relapse.

August 29th - Went for a walk with Ayham (held my hand) then sat down and talked for quite awhile, cuddled a bit, and the other thing. Wanted to watch a movie the next day. (Hindsight - last time hung out with him)

August 30th - canceled the movie plan because Meg had just moved in.

September 1st - classes started!

September 3rd - tried my first drink with Meg, because she bought coolers and let me try a couple

September 4th - Alex came by and asked if wanted to go to Kevin’s birthday party. I went up with Alex and Meg joined later. They all were gonna to midway so I went to read in the lounge. Met Dan because he came over to ask what I was reading. They came back and Manav asked if I wanted to come back up since Meg was still there so I did. We all walked to McDonald’s, talked more with Dan and met Fahad, also talked with another person but forget him.

September 9th - Me, Chisom, Meg and Adina all went outside in the rain to have a dramatic moment, it was really fun. We took photos and jumped in rain puddles

September 10th - Me and Chisom chilled in the lounge, and we first met Carter after Meg had her “one night stand” they were both very drunk

September 11th - Had our little roommate party, where we went thrifting earlier in the day then went and got stuff to make Jell-O shots. I had 16, 8 of the vodka (1/3 of of vodka) and 8 sourpuss (1/2 and 1/2 ratio) and two shots of vodka. Then later Carter gave me a white claw which I never fully finished. Also Chisom cuddled with Jorge and I third wheeled LOL.

September 12th - baked Cookies with Chisom, Meg and Carter

September 14th - stayed and pulled in “all nighter” with Chisom, Sam and Manav, where I had left to shower and was going to go to bed but then changed my mind and decided to back to the lounge. Then we went to circle K, then came back, we played never have I ever where I learnt way to much about Manav and Sam and I had done barely any of it. Then Manav and Sam took us up to the roof at sunrise, but they had thought of it wrong so you could barely see it lol. Then me and Chisom went to the dinning hall for breakfast, I skipped class in order to sleep lol.

September 15th - Jorge kissed Chisom, then she went to hang out with Daniel for the first time, she was stressed. We went over to 206 so she could tell Same and Manav (and extension Katie), she got some ‘advice’. Later Chisom invited Sam and Manav over once they got back from wings night, they were tipsy, we found out school canceled the next day, Katie ended up coming over. Met Layton and Will for the first time. Carter was over and Meg was there, and we played uno and other drinking games, our spur of the moment party where Chisom got the advice to turn down Daniel and “end things there”. End of the night me and Chisom went up to 345 (Manavs room) with him and Sam. Chisom had way to much Whisky and she blacked out, Sam brought her back to her room (turned out that was a bad idea), any stayed up until like 4am talking with Manav and Sam then went back to ours and tidied up.

September 17th - Went to a party at 345, and learnt to play beer pong for the first time, and Meg Teagan. Chisom wanted me to get fun drunk like she had when we did Jell-O shots the weekend before. So I ended up drinking too much, and then spilled to her and Bianca about cutting and having suicidal thoughts, also might’ve told Matt but Idk for sure. Because I remembered talking to him but a few weeks later Bianca told me I had told him I was suicidal woo. Anyway later on was talking to Bianca and Fahad wasn’t feeling great and threw up. Then was given gravel and went back to the dorm and slept it off. Chisom messaged and talked with Daniel while they were both drunk.

September 18th - Lucas (Chisom’s friend) came over, she joked earlier in the day about setting us up. Which I didn’t think could really happen. Anywayyy he ends up asking to kiss me later in the night. It was cute, he was standing and then told me to stand up, then he asked. Then we were cuddling and made out and it was nice. I also tried to show him how to make a paper crane. Later on hung out with Chisom, Manav and Carter because of course she told them about “setting me up”.

September 19th - we had brunch and Chisom and Bianca surprised me with cupcakes that they arranged into in 18. I was stressed about my physics lab tho still, Chisom invited Lucas over again and he helped me with the lab which was very nice. Later after I handed it in we made out again which was fun.

September 20th - It’s my 18th birthday. Had kinda depressing suicidal ideation thoughts then at 5pm ish I FaceTimed my sister, we blew out candles together and I ate I slice of cake with her. Meg came back from the store with things to do a “Meg Birthday” which was cute, so we had all the roommates together and we had 18 candles plus sparklers shaped as an 18, and they all sang happy birthday to me. It was very sweet and then we all ate cake. Alex dropped by to give some rice pudding he had made for me because of my birthday. Multiple people also had snapped to tell me happy birthday as well which was sweet

September 22nd - Lucas messaged to say he didn’t want a relationship, which I wasn’t really mad or anything about it, I was happy for the upfront-ness honestly. I also went for super long walk, because I alone for most of the day, so my thoughts were kinda leaning into the bad. Also had the realization that I am suicidal not just passively LOL. I ended up walking all the way to the French district/campus saint jean, there was also a thunder and lightening storm! Which was pretty cool, but I ended up getting picked up by Bianca and Chisom because it was 9pm and wet/cold out and I was still a 40-50 minute walk away haha.

September 24th - There was a party, I kinda forget now at whose place, I want to say Daniels tho, but it was fun, anyway we ended going to beercade! My first time going out haha. We took the bus there, the bouncer actually recognized where I was from and turns out he went to my high school lol. I had four shots thorough out the night, I still didn’t feel buzzed or anything honestly probably cause I was dancing and it was working to keep my anxiety at bad haha. Anyway, I danced with someone! First time haha, cause slowly dancing in middle school definitely is different. We played a few arcade games too. We all decided to just walk home, which was fine because I felt fairly warm even if it was a tad chilly (gonna guess it was the alcohol). Anyway I talked to Fahad on the way home, then we hang out once we got back and kept talking which was fun. Chisom made some comment when I went to the bathroom lol, which she mentioned when we were both sitting on the couch, so then Fahad put his arm around me. Daniel and Chisom said we should watch a movie, so they put on a rom com and then left. So it was just me and Fahad and we just kinda cuddled and talked. Which was nice, he ended up leaving some point just after 6am. There also one point where he tried to pick me up it was kinda funny.

September 25th - We went to 345 and we pre gamed. Anyway I didn’t drink that much. Like we played honeycomb. But still not much. Anyway, then we all went to midway. In the line waiting I tried Megs vape, still don’t get the appeal really, our group also talked with this other group of guys that were there. It was fun tho! Carter got me a drink cause he was buying one for Meg. It was a yager bomb so that was fun, I hadn’t had one before, it was also my first time having red bull lol. I danced with this one guy, wasn’t that into and Meg pulled me away haha. Then later I danced with one of the guys our group had talked to earlier, he bought me and Meg a drink. Eventually stopped dancing with him, and then later I was just dancing by myself, like near Carter and Meg who were dancing together. And then carter like looked and me and sorta nodded as this guy haha. Anyway we had made eye contact earlier and he was kinda cute. So after and I looked at him we started dancing, and then he made out with me. It got a little too aggressive ish for me so I got Meg to pull me away. Then me and Meg took pictures in the bathroom, although she never ended up sending them to me, oh well. Overall pretty decent night. We went back to 345 for a bit, and just kinda chilled. Played honeycomb, Shree made some joke about getting me hammered lol (that did not happen). Anyway it was fun. After playing honeycomb we played beer pong, it was fun caused finally at this point I was a tipsy haha.

September 29th - Since there was going to be no school the next day, me and Chisom were like oh well have a Harry Potter movie marathon. Anyway she invited Daniel and Jayden to come watch it. This was also my first time meeting Jayden and she was super nice. We had a couple coolers while watching, we got like halfway through before they were bored and then we all decided to walk to the liquor store lol. Chisom and Jayden stayed out in the parking lot out of sight while me and Daniel went in. We then walked back, and had some shots and stuff, then Carter snapped Chisom saying they were doing stuff at 251 so we all went over there. They were playing beer pong, and Chisom and Meg had to do the naked mile lol, they were both a tiny bit out out of. There was a few moments where had to go through the outside doors to 253 because of the RA’s. Yikes. Cause of one of there roommates (as far as we were aware of/believed). Anyway, ultimately we just all end up staying a 253, for most of this night I talked with Adam which was cool since we hadn’t spoken much beforehand. Anyway he made beans and toast? Idk some UK thing, I tried it, it was all that bad. Chisom is gone at this point (along with Daniel and Jayden who are with her). So those of us left walk to McDonald’s, it was really sweet Adam gave me his hoodie (like just before we left we went back to get me one of his). He also gave me a another cooler before leaving too lol. He’s nice. Anyway we walk over over, I wasn’t gonna actually get anything because the inside was closed and I didn’t want to mobile order just to get it through drive through myself. But Adam offered so I got a small fries, plus I wasn’t wearing my Invisalign anyway. Oh yeah it was also pointed out that my howls moving castle earrings matched the colour of the sweater lol. Once we got back I’m pretty sure I just went to ours? I don’t think much else happened. If so I don’t remember now (at the time I’m writing this)

I read chapter 17 till half past 4 in the morning. I had to sleep because i needed to wake up at 9 for a gym session the next morning. ANONNN. Did you know I screamed a lot while writing this chapter. I felt so bad for my followers on Twitter. They felt the main grunt of it all ahhahahaha. I almost died writing this. I heavily---HEAVILYYYY aged Sehun in this because I felt I needed his character a bit older than how he was. And since I started this fic 3 years ago, I really did age this poor boy LOL. So I decided to make up a list of dates in the KM timeline for people who may want or need them, bc I have yet to see some place where everything is together in one post. There are some other facts scattered throughout. 

Harry Hart’s First Mission: July 29th, 1981 (End) - This is the Sun article that Harry says came morning after his first mission. The date is visibly labeled as Thursday, July 30th, 1981. 

Lee Unwin’s Death: December 02, 1997; December 19th, 1997 - While the date on Lee’s medal--infamously printed, incorrectly, in the American order--states ‘12.19.97′ which could be assumed to be Lee’s death date, James Spencer’s agent screen gives his admission as December the 2nd of that same year. Either we consider those screens incorrect (consistency on dates is not exactly the strength of this series), or it took Harry time to argue reparations for Lee’s family, fail, and set up something of his own.

Eggsy Unwin’s Birthday: September 06, 1991 (Virgo); June 03, 1992 (Gemini); September 26 (Libra) - There are a lot of contradictory accounts on this front so take your pick. You’ll note I didn’t put the birth year on the last one. This is bc it’s just...so ridiculous lol. It’s listed as 1985, making Eggsy almost thirty in the first movie which just. No. I’m sorry that makes no sense haha.

Roxy Morton’s Birthday: September 22, 1992 (Virgo, Virgo-Libra Cusp); January 12 (Capricorn) - The reason for the lack of birth year on the last one is the same as for Eggsy, the source listing her as almost thirty in TSS and no. There’s nothing wrong with thirty but...they weren’t thirty lol.

Other Candidate Birthdays: December 21, 1991 (Charlie Hesketh) (See below the cut); October 01, 1992 (Hugo Higgins); May 11, 1992 (Rufus Saville); July 14, 1991 (Digby Barker) - All from here. It should be noted that the screens listing Eggsy, Roxy and the Boys birthdays all place them around 22 which is a little strange so the years are probably open for adjustment?

Agent Birthdays: January 12, 1975 (Gawain); November 14, 1969 (Lamorak);  June 17, 1972 (Geraint, TGC); October 19, 1940 (Gambon!Arthur); - For more information on these agents and where they are seated, you can see this link which also has the stills that these numbers came from.

Agent Recruitment: April 03, 2001 (Gawain); May 10, 1995 (Lamorak); December 02, 1960 (Gambon!Arthur) - Not listed is TGC!Geraint bc it's a bit of plothole that will take some headcanons or straight up ignoring of what’s listed. Also interesting is that Gawain was recruited within the seventeen years that Chester said they had gone without an agent death meaning Gawain’s predecessor must have retired instead of perishing in the field. Same link as for the above ‘Agent Birthdays’ but here it is regardless for further details on this.

Eggsy Voluntarily Discharged from Marines: June 10 (Year Unclear; possibly 2008 or 2011) - The year on this one is listed as 2008, but given the wildly incorrect dating on Eggsy and Roxy’s admission to Kingsman on the same screens, this could be a year chosen in relation to that. Given his age according to TSS, 2008 doesn’t seem at all feasible. Eggsy would have been anywhere from 15 to 17 if that were the case, and that’s when he was discharged. Not even when admitted. As they are listed as joining the table in 2012 on the inconsistent screens, this would be a four year gap between those years. Basing it on their actual admission in 2015 (or arguably 2014; see ‘End of Film’) would make an solid alternative year 2011 (2010).

James Spencer’s (Lancelot) Death: 2014 - Stated on the screen behind Merlin. This incident was in a remote location in Argentina.

Eggsy Placed Under Arrest: February 21, 2014 - The date listed on Eggsy’s arrest record from bts. Interesting other facts from this: the station is listed as ‘Holborn’ (I’ve seen lots of fic writers use this) and the officer we see Eggsy talking to is likely Sergeant N. Moore. As stated and linked above, James Spencer’s death was in 2014 which backs up the year.

End of TSS: Days Following June 16-21 (Year Unclear; likely 2015) - During the altercation between Harry and Valentine in the tailor shop, Valentine mentions that the suit he’s being fitted for is for the Royal Ascot. Later, on the plane with Gazelle, he’s wearing this suit and the bugged hat while checking off members of the Royal Family. This heavily implies that he has just left the Ascot. He says that ‘tomorrow’ they’re testing at Southglade Mission Church. With this in mind, we know that the ending occurred in June. (The Royal Ascot is always in June.) It could be June 2014, but this seems unlikely due to a few factors. Most importantly, this would make it a mere four months after Eggsy’s arrest. Eggsy doesn’t even get JB until he’s been into training for a bit and the dog is fully grown by the final test. Daisy as well is shown to have aged considerably. It seems far more likely that the dog test and the fallout that leads to Harry’s “death”/V-Day occur in June 2015. Specifically, somewhere between or after June 16-20, 2015. The earliest frame would be June 16-18th, 2015 (with Valentine attending the first day of races (16th), leaving, doing the test at Southglade the following day (17th), alerting his followers later that night that V-Day will happen in 6 hours--as we see on Chester King’s phone after Eggsy kills him--, and the climax occurring before the dawn of the next day (18th)). The latest would be June 20-22nd, 2015 (with Valentine attending to the end of the races (20th) and etc (21st & 22nd)). But should you prefer to see the dates for the 2014 Ascot, here is a link.

General Time of TGC: Around June 22-26, 2016 (or, if the 2014 Ascot detailed above is preferred, around June 24-28, 2015) - A card over the flashback to Statesmen’s rescue of Harry tells us that the ending events of TSS occurred one year previous. We also see Eggsy attending the Glastonbury Festival which gives us the round about date. (See here for the 2015 alternative dates.)

This is all the information I could wrangle together. I may add to it as necessary. If there’s something I left out, please let me know!

Charlie Hesketh’s Birthday: December 21, 1991; December 21, 1989 (Sagittarius, Sagittarius-Capricorn Cusp) - As stated above, Charlie’s birthday is set at December 21, 1991 in TSS. However, Eggsy’s feed reads Charlie as 26 in TGC which would mean his birth year would be closer to 1989 if we maintain that TGC takes place in June of 2016.

James Spencer’s Birthday: May 28, 1975 (Leo) - Stated on the screens shown during the Kingsman toast following his death. This would make him 38 when he was cut down, a few months out from turning 39.

James Spencer’s Admission: December 02, 1997 - From the agent screens stated above, making him 22 upon becoming Lancelot.

Two Known Valentine Tests before the Events of the Film: 2012 & 2013 - Stated by Merlin and on the screens behind him. The first surge in 2012 happened in Uganda and the surge in 2013 happened in Chechnya. 

Harry Hart’s Birthday: early July 1957 to late July 1960 - This one requires a bit more estimation. We have to work under the assumption that Harry was, at the very least, 18 years of age when he was recruited. Even this, however, is a little tight as he would have needed to have spent some time in the Army beforehand. Being 19 at the time of his recruitment is a better soft cap. On the other end, I think we can say with relative confidence that during TGC, he was not quite 60 yet. Also, we have to bear in mind that while Harry’s first mission was in 1981, we’ve seen that training can take at least a year. If not more. For simplicity’s sake though, when estimating his age at the time of that first mission, I will simply be adding a year to the soft recruitment cap of 19. So on the table below, remember that it is working under the assumption that the bolded number was Harry’s age during his first mission, but his recruitment age is assumed to be a year below. Something to keep in mind if you want to lengthen or shorten how long you headcanon his training took.  I personally love Harry being very young or even one of the youngest recruits in Kingsman history so I usually go for Colin’s birth year. Bc I mean. Imagine someone handing super bb!Harry a gun. As far as actual birth date goes, I have found that settling on a zodiac sign can help. I’m a Scorpio!Harry girl myself.  Birthday Range vs First Mission Age for Reference:

My updates are really long and probably drain your life but I do this so that I can remember the things that happen with my tc so I don't care 😂

Sooooooo on the 27th my English teacher was meant to give us exam feedback for 2 periods but he was busy doing other shit so we had a sub (another English teacher) who gave us feedback first period and after he gave us feedback he goes "*my tcs name* is coming in to take this class next period" and I was like fuck yeah. So anyway my english teacher is going to a different school next year so people got him presents and we all signed a card and I was like lining up waiting to sign the card but I got really bored of waiting (I'm very lazy and impatient) so I sat down on the nearest chair and waited while everyone else crowded around. And my tc walked in to take over the other teacher and he was setting up his shit on the desk and then he looked up and saw my looking at him so he like raised his eyebrows to like say hi and I looked away BECAUSE IM SHY AS HELL and then he goes "*my name*" and mumbled something and FIRST OF ALL HE STARTED A CONVERSATION WITH ME. Like he could have spoken to anyone in that room that day but nooooo. He wanted to talk to me awwwww. Anyway so I was like "huh?" And he goes "I finally marked the tests" so I went over to him and I was like "finally! I checked the website this morning and the results still weren't up" and he said he's been really slack with them 😂 then he goes "I think you got like 2 wrong" and I got really sad because I wanted 100% for him 😭 and then he grabbed my test and was like oh it was only 1 so I got 99% and I looked over the test and I was like "are you serious, I got that question wrong" (it was a yes or no answer) 😭 and then he goes "I know, it was the easiest question, you should have gotten 100%" 😂😂😂😂🖕🏻 and I'm like "just give me 100%" 😉😉 and he goes "no" and then he told me to go and give this other kid his test (like he called out to me, clearly wanting to talk to me yet he couldn't do that with the other student?) so I gave it to him and then I went back to him and he goes "what are they doing anyway?" (The other students) and I'm like "they're signing a card for *teachers name*" and he's like "did you even get exam feedback?" And I'm like "yeah but like I don't get why we have a double period for this" and he goes "you can blame *other teachers name* for that" and then the conversation kind of ended there 😭 but like ... he called out to me ... he wanted to talk to me ...

ON THE 28TH I WAS MEANT TO HAVE MOST OF THE DAY WITH HIM BUT HE DIDNT COME TO SCHOOL LIKE WHY

I brought him chocolates for Christmas, I got him chocolates that relate to his nickname and then another box of chocolates and me and my friend wrote a card for him and stuck a photo of the three of us on it and I bought it to school and he wasn't even there so the whole day I was like shitttttt is it gonna melt in my locker 😂

On the 29th my friend and I bought the chocolates back to school... so I got to school before her and I had to wait until she got there to give them to him and I was on the phone to her, planning it out and seeing how far away she was and he came out of the office and he was just staring at me like he desperately wanted to talk to me so I put the phone down and was like "hey!" And he goes "you didn't get honours for PE" and I was like "uh what?" And he goes "I didn't give you above 85% for the practical" and he went kinda red like he was embarrassed or something?? And at this point I was so confused because I thought I did get honours and he goes "for the first term, you didn't get above 85%" and I'm like "oh." And he started talking to another teacher and I saw my friend so I ran up to her (lol when do I run😂) and then we were waiting for him to leave so we could like quickly finish the Christmas card before giving it to him and then he came back up to me and he goes "yeah I must have been in a bad mood when I gave you that result" and I'm like "okay" and then he goes "I'm sorry" and I was like trying to lighten the mood and I jokingly was like "you're not sorry" and he goes "I am sorry! I'm genuinely sorry" and at that point I felt so bad like he genuinely felt bad about it. And then he goes "how did you go yesterday (with the PE orientation) and I was like "yeah good, are you gonna be our teacher?" And he goes "more than likely" LIKE FUCK YEAH and my friend goes "Ms..... said that it's a 95% chance" and I'm like "no she said it was 99.9%" and he goes "oh that's good then" and then he was like "you aren't in that class" (to my friend) and I'm like "uhhhh yeah she is... supriseeee you have both of us againnnn!" AHAHAHAHAHA

So then he left and we finished the card and when he came back I called him over to us and then he was just standing there on his phone for a while checking if my friend was really in that class 😂 and then I'm like "we have to give you something" and I pulled the present out of my bag and he goes "aw thank you, you didn't have to" and I'm like "we wanted to" and he goes "hopefully we can do this again next year, like I said, it's more than likely" AND HE GOT SO SMILELY and then he thanked us again and left

On the 30th was the last day of school for the year 😭 we went to his office after school (my friend and I) to get her test result and I didn't even really need to be there yet he brought me into the conversation so randomly, he goes "*my name* is gonna hate me" (referring to him not giving me honours) like aw he still feels bad. And then he goes "I must have been in a bad mood that day" and I go "likeeee with me or in general?" And he goes "in general" so like at least he wasn't mad at me. And then he said to have a good holidays, behave ourselves and thanked us again for the present. I love him so much omg.
