All of the hermits are functionally immortal. Not in that they don't age, but in the sense that when they do die they just respawn back at the same age they were when they first die.

Oh, that's a really cool idea for how their aging works! I love the implications of what that means for people like TFC and Cub. TFC must have been very cautious in the past, to live that long before dying for the first time. And Cub...respawning at one age for years, before suddenly reverting to a much younger one? Time travel is known to exist within Hermitcraft. (Grian has built a time machine before, and Zedaph is sometimes just Like That.) I wonder if some careless time traveling Hermit caused a paradox that made Cub die earlier?

Louis's Songs and the Idea of Comfort

Louis's new songs display a different idea of comfort as compared to his old songs. It's not to say that there is no emphasis on believing in the idea of things getting better but there is a different sense of reflection in his comparatively newer songs

In his older songs, for instance, 'JHO' or 'DLIBYH' there is a sense of "optimistic comfort" wherein you believe that things will be alright with time and comfort will be brought in by things that are majorly out of your personal control like "time" "fate" etc.

However, in songs like "Walls" "Fearless" and "Copy of a Copy" there is are elements of "reflective comfort" which is to say that they represent comfort that comes with personal reckoning and reflection upon past events. Rather than trying to gloss over or move on from things that have caused hurt you take stock of them and acknowledge and sit with their consequences and then actively make contrasting change. There's less focus on "letting the past, be in the past" and more effort on "looking it straight in the eye and challenging it as you move on". There's also a sense of plea in these songs almost like he wishes someone was there to tell his younger self that to let go of the pain you don't have to bury it until it becomes a distant memory, you can openly and actively demand accountability for the things you have had to suffer through
