The antisemitic threats happening in Cornell and greater Ithaca right now are completely unacceptable and cannot come to be seen as the new normal. Most Ithacan Jews have absolutely nothing to do with Israel and even if they did, attacking their jewishness is cowardly, xenophobic, and inherently wrong. You are not helping people if you are using antisemitism in your efforts against Israeli genocide of Palestinians. You are hurting people and you need to stop right now.
Ithacan Jews do not deserve what is happening to them right now. I stand with them against this scary threat to their community.
Ta da everybody!! In order to keep my own spirits up, and hopefully the spirits of others, it is – once again – gallery show time.
Since this show is a collection of what I’d had in previous shows, for the most part, I’m really leaning on the vibe of my work in general – just that resonance. Why do I do what I do?
As usual, January is peak (or at least the beginning of) seasonal affective disorder for me, usually, and the only manner in which this round of it is unusual is that it started early this season. It is hard to find hope, in the dark. So I hope, that having this up in a well-travelled area (this gallery is in an office building/hotel, so people come through the space often, whether they mean to or not!), that this will crowbar some willingness-to-believe-in-the-possibility-of-“better” into at least SOME of the spirits that stop and look. Or even just glance as they pass by.
At least, in this moment, I know it has done so in myself already. Even if it is just for this moment.
The show is up now through the end of January, so if you’re Ithaca-local or Ithaca-driving-distance-local, hope you come take a look!! 💗
And whatever is going on, please please please find the magic in your life – even just small glimmers of it. Winter is a beast, but we can endure.
Just finished this up. Pen and metallic pens on 11x14 tan paper.
Started as a concept for a friend's business logo. She didn't go with it, but I figured I'd see where I could take it while incorporating various things I have been working on.
Hello! I would like to preface this with I hope you're doing well and thank you for all you do!
Please let me know if I need to narrow this down further.
Do you know of any US military programming sites located in or around Julian, CA, and Ithaca, NY, active around 2002-2005?
I apologise for taking such a long time to answer your question.
Cornell University is the known site in Ithaca.
As for Julian I couldn’t find anything. The population is interesting though. It has a large population of military personnel who served in the Gulf War.

I’m not on Tumblr much, but I would be remiss if I didn’t say here that I am publishing a series of stories—what I’m calling a story mosaic—about a secret time-travel research group at Cornell University. These are the covers to the first four. You should check them out!
You can buy them on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C15C9VBL?tag=charity48-20 or at lots of other places, links here: https://stephenfrug.com/retcon-a-mosaic-narrative-in-three-movements/
