If Chuuya and Dazai were ever to get married, there's no way they'd ever have a wedding. They would never have any kind of ceremony, nor would they ever dress up or fucking PLAN for it. Hell, they probably don't even tell anyone about it.

When Dazai and Chuuya decide to get married, they go to the courthouse at 3 in the morning, alone, just the two of them, and pick up and sign the papers. Then they go to a jewelry store and buy the cheapest rings there, the ones that probably turn your fingers green every time you take them off. Then they go to some special place only the two of them know about to exchange rings in private, well before any of their respective teammates would even realize they're gone, and the first kiss they share as a married couple is shockingly tender.

Then they drive to Dazai's apartment, bickering like they always do, and get sloppy drunk on the cheap wine Dazai keeps for Chuuya. Chuuya gags and complains, but he still drinks it anyways. They have mind-blowing orgasmic sex about it until the sun rises, where they both proceed to pass out and completely ignore their professional responsibilities and obligations.

They wake up hungover at 1 in the afternoon, Dazai with over a hundred missed texts and calls (more than half of them from Kunikida), and Chuuya with 2 voicemails from Akutagawa and a single missed call from Kouyou that spells nothing but trouble for him for the crime of ignoring his Ane-san. But they regret nothing.

Chuuya shows up to work later than he's ever been in his life, his ring hidden under his gloves. Dazai strolls into work like he isn't showing up hours later than he should with his cheap golden band glinting on his finger in the afternoon sun.
