Summary- König has been going to therapy for his depression and self isolation. That lands him in the therapists office when one mission goes wrong. But his whole world is gonna be turned upside down. Recently joining the 141 Task Force he keeps to himself. But things are gonna change.

Therapist glances to König.

“She told me she didn’t like me back. I cared so deeply for her and she pushed me away and left me”

“It’s been 5 years since she was declared dead”

“König, when you received the news you were there to view the body. Is that right?”

“And you made a positive I.D on the body. You did let your superior know that the person they brought back from the field was her.”

“When I wake up she’s gone. And everyone keeps reminding me she’s not real.”

“Her name was Sergeant Sarah Smith”

“Don’t say her name”

“When I dream of her she runs away, but the moment she sees me she’s scared of me.”

“König your obsession with Sergeant Smith was something we discussed before her untimely death.”

“Ja”

“Your obsession with Sergeant Sarah have they been laid to rest since her passing”

“So I heard there are new recruits coming in from another private military base”

“Just three people their from Kortac the private military company I use to work for.”

“Okay have you met them yet. Remember we’re to work on our social skills and interactions with other members of the team and your superiors.”

“Ja, I remember”

König fiddle with his gloves looking down at the hem of his mask. Picking at the loose thread that dangled. Pulling on it his mind wondered. Thinking about Sarah and how she looked at him when he confessed his love to her. The look of disgust and rejection written on her face. That hurt more then anything.

König avoided her after that incident. Thinking about the day she was KIA out on the field. He did shed a few tears but his heart hurt. The feeling of rejection was all too familiar for him.

Thinking back when he was a child in Austria. The way everyone bullied him for his face and height. He did have one friend but that friend moved away to the states leaving him alone.

König as a child often sat alone on the playground watching the other children play and giggle on the school yard.

Watching all his classmates playing with one another but his heart long for the girl with the bluest eyes like the ocean. Her golden hair that was split into two braids that framed her pretty freckled face.

Watching her from afar made his little heart flutter.

König would pick flowers for her on his way to school and leave them on her desk in the morning. He wait around the corner waiting for her to see the flowers.

The way she smell them and smile made his heart skip a beat. He would write little notes with poetry and leave them on her desk. Watching her read them she would smile and run to her friends holding the flowers and notes.

Watching all her friends gather around her smiling and giggling about the notes and flowers. König wanted to confess his love to his crush. She made his cheek burn so much he had to hide his face in the crooks of his arms.

But his moment was ruined when Hans ran over to his crush tagging her back and running off with his friends.

Hans was König classmate that bullied him often. He tried to be his friend in the beginning but Hans always made fun of his height and called him nasty names.

König kept his distance when it came to playing outside on the school yard. He would sit under the trees watching everyone play and socialize.

He longed to be included on the games. The only time anyone would talk to him was the bullies.

They would throw rocks at him when he walked home. Never fighting back he simply ignored it walking home. The name calling hurt him the most. When arriving home he dust himself off before walking inside to greet his Mother and Oma.

König fathers was a Colonel in the Military but he sadly passed away while on a mission when he was only 9 years old. König always looked up to his father although his father was very tough on him. He admired his father accomplishments. He often daydreamed he would one day become a Colonel just like his father.

“Hallo Mutter, wo ist Oma?”

“Mein Schatz, du bist zu Hause, wie war die Schule? Oma ist im Garten.”

“Gut"

König nodding his head to his mom holding his school bag storing it away wiping the dust from his cheek. Walking to the kitchen he kissed his mothers cheek, smiling to her taking a Apfelstrudel from the counter taking a bite, thanking his mother before walking out the back door.

Walking past the rose bushes his mother planted, to find his oma sitting under the tree his opa planted for his oma.

Sighing with a heavy heart he put on a fake smile walking over to his oma. Before he could say anything she already knew he tried to sneak up on her.

“Mein kleiner Bär, komm raus, ich weiß, dass du zurück bist.”

His Oma already knew König was sneaking up behind her. She smiled and waved to him to come over to her.

König walked over looking down at his leather brown shoes.

“Sind es wieder die Tyrannen, mein kleiner Bär?”

König nodding his head in shame. Sighing heavily he bursted into tears hugging his Oma tightly. Wiping his face into her blouse and cardigan. His small cries and whimper’s muffled in her chest.

“Oma why am I different?”

“You’re special my little bear. Your grandfather named you my little king. You’re a special kind young boy that will grow into a wonderful young man.”

“Oma, there’s a girl I like in my class I want to tell her but I’m scared she might get scared of me.”

“König, one day you’ll meet a special girl that will love you for you. If she can’t see the sweet loving boy I see now then she isn’t one.”

Those words echoed in his memories of home. All throughout his teenage years König was faced with rejection. The memories of the disgusted look on all their faces made his heart break. All that was left was the shell of the sweet loving boy that his mother and oma saw. König often paid for sex when he was off duty.

Meaningless sex meant nothing to him. Keeping the hood on often made the sex workers nervous of him. He pay them and lay in his bed unsatisfied with the sex. He wanted someone to lay with him to hold his heart and hopefully one day take the mask off.

He often found himself longing for a loving warm embrace. He would often watch the new recruits walk around base. Somedays he would often jerk off in the showers thinking of some of the female recruits awhile they exercised. After squirting the walls and his hands with his thick ropes of cum. Looking at the water washing away all the cum off his hands. The shame would overcome him.

Finishing up his showers he would walk back to his room his head hanging with shame.

“Our session is finished for today. Would you like to schedule another session for another day next week?”

With a smile the therapist clicked her pen and closed her notebook. Walking to the door she opened it for him allowing him to leave her office. She sighed as he left. Exhausted for the day and all the sessions she had to take on for the day. König was a very unique case.

Clicking her pen she takes a seat looking out the window jolting down her notes.

König had developed a obsession with one of the new recruits that had an untimely death. This loss had thrown him off his feet landing right into my chairs. He’s being put on temporary leave for the time being. His superiors put him on watch for the first few nights. Looking over his record on the field he has never failed a mission nor lost anyone. But this one particular mission that ended with 5 soldiers killed on the field under someone else command made his mind wander off. He started to self isolate and fell into a deep depression. I’ve seen this a few other times but König is a Hound of Love. Something in his childhood must’ve started this conquest of searching for love. He looks for love in the many faces of his fellow comrades. This is something he has acknowledge and he is willing to work for the time being. But we are making progress on moving past this grieving period. And coming to acceptance with Sergeant Smith death. He’s starting to share a bit more in our therapy sessions.

I will make note to his superiors that König is cleared for active duty in a few days. After our last meeting which is next week. He will be cleared to go back out on the field.

A Few Days Later

“König wheels up in 20”

One of the privates knocked on his door frame.

Nodding his head he stood up from his bed sighing looking at his gloved hands reaching down to pick up his gear bag. Walking out with his weapon strapped to his chest and his side arms all in there holsters. Listening to Price and Ghost talk about the mission. The operators they we’re receiving from his old employers were sending over three operators to assist in this mission.

Listening to the briefing again he board the plane storing his gear away. Taking his seat looking down at his boots and knees he looked around staring at all the soldiers who sat in silence. His mind often wandered to love.

“Was he not capable of love?”

“Why did all his past crushes all repulsed by him and especially when they asked about his face and hood.”

Lost in his thoughts hours had gone by and the turbulence of the plane jolted him up from his dark thoughts. But his mind often wander to Sergeant Smith.

The way she looked at him when he admitted his feelings to her and the flowers she stepped on before crushing his heart.

His heart broke.

All those sleepless night thinking of her.

“Why am I a hound for love. I search and search for it and come up empty handed.”

As the hatch opens the rush of cold air chills everyone to the bone. But for König his heart was already broken and cold. His cold lifeless eyes burned with bloodlust. Gathering his gear he walked out sweeping the area waiting for everyone to get into position.

The rumbling of the aircraft lifting away rumbling his chest and awakening his inner beast for bloodlust.

Listening to Ghost mission objectives. König couldn’t focus enough looking down at the ground covered in snow. Flipping the switch on his radio the static came rushing through and the sounds of a women singing softly piqued his interest. Looking up and listening closely to his radio he confirmed his suspicions.

Ghost listened to his radio.

“That’s our sign let’s move”

Moving as one they made their way around the buildings that were left in ruins. The smell of smoke and gunpowder filled his senses. Watching the snow fall to the ground he didn’t see or hear someone get the drop on him.

Falling forward to the ground he felt a cold sharp blade pressing against his mask on his neck.

“Scheiße!”

“Move again and that will be the last thing you do”

“Phantom! Let him up”

The familiar sound of the deep voice resonated in Königs mind.

“Aksel”

“König!”

König stood up dusting himself off he walked over to the large man hidden in the shadows. Aksel emerged from the darkness hand extended out. König grasped his hand aggressively the two men laughed and smiled to each other.

“It’s been too long Brother”

“Ja, too long Tor”

“I didn’t know you were coming here. Captain Price informed me that you overseas busy with another mission.”

“Nein Brother. We finished early”

“Let me introduce you to my fellow operators. This is Sebastian and this is (y/n).”

Emerging from the darkness stood Sebastian and by his side stood a goddess.

“This is Krueger and I’m Phantom”

“Aksel we don’t go by our formal names!”

“This is König”

Aksel chuckled at her little outburst and brushed it off as he continued his conversation with his friend König.

There she stood the goddess that graced him with her spitfire attitude. She had a covering that covered her face. Her eyes sparkled under the moonlight she looked up to him holding a rifle on her back that was almost as big as her.

“Phantom back to your position. Krueger go with her we rotate in 3 hours we leave at dawn. The snowstorm is supposed to hit in a few hours.”

“Come inside brother we have much to discuss.”

König walked beside Aksel but he was so enamored by her the way she sighed and rolled her eyes. Her spitfire attitude made his heart flutter but his cock quiver.

Krueger was quick to notice the way König was staring at her as they walked away. Krueger laid his hand on her back as they walked away. König clenched his fist swallowing harshly his cock quivered more leaking precum from watching her walk away and the way Krueger laid his hand on her back as they walked away together.

She looked back into the street and keeping her gaze out there she smiled to herself and pulling his jacket more closer to herself. Inhaling the smell of his jacket was very pleasant. It smelled clean with a hint of floral scent. She smiled slightly.

“Thank you”

She whispered to him as she shifted slightly in her position. König smiled under his mask and stood up leaving her alone on watch. Walking back to Aksel he looked at him shaking his head walking back to the fire sitting beside him.

Aksel glanced at him. Giving him a smirk. König scoffed at him and pulled a cloth from his chest pocket and started to clean his gun. Glancing at her every so often she stayed perfectly still with his jacket covering her. It warmed his heart. But deep down his cock throbbed for release. Shifting himself as he sat trying to sit comfortably while watching his goddess stay warm under his jacket.

That’s was enough for him for now.

The Project seems ready to enter into more of a heavy focus on concept art and prototyping now, as well as environment design and stuff of the sort.

I’m going to begin to get people to help with the project, I’m happy with how it is now, granted it’ll be short. Like I (might have) said a while back, I’m going to begin with getting friends on board first and then expand out if needed.

Hopefully things can start speeding up now, for now here’s a crappy doodle of a redesigned first shot from the short that I intend on getting redrawn, or not idk rn.

One of observant mind will notice that one of the examples is traditional. DO please specify if you'd prefer traditional or digital. If not, I'm gonna randomly do one, the other, or a mixture (It's the same effort for me, either way.)

There will be times where I will NOT be able to sit up and work. I will either edit this message, or make another one with said announcement on it and pin it. An then subsequently edit or make another message again to announce that I'm well again. So goes the conditions of having a corporal body; sometimes you get stuck with a shitty one.

I plan on taking breaks. They will be announced similarly. Because breaks are good for you.

Wow, I haven't posted anything since last year...

Couldn't help but make the bad joke, but you're likely to hear it from me every year. XD

I apologize for nothing. :P

Anyway, sorry about the quality and color, but I literally did this in less than 24 hours (between last night and today) and laptop I'm using washes out color. I'm also working on something else at the moment too, so I was mainly concentrating on that little project.

Tried something different with the watermark (hopefully noticeable enough that you can tell it's there, but also not heavily obscuring the image.

But, hey, X has a little friend, and now you get to meet a 'new' (not really) character! :D

His name is XII (for simplicity's sake, pronounce it like 'Zy').

...And to be fair, you may be thing 'Ah, it's just an X clone,' but storyline ('headcanon' I guess would be the better term) wise, he's actually a legit clone of X.

Still fleshing out the character, but he's kinda cheery, but also laid back (is that contradictory?). As for his relationship with X, it's not a parent/child type thing; probably going to be more like an 'older brother/younger brother' type thing.

Also, random trivia: he started off as a joke character, but I liked him too much. C:

(Oscar)* fandom writers, we really need to talk about gif etiquette :/

Please take this in the spirit in which it’s intended: to give you a better understanding of why it would be a lot cooler if you properly credited gifmakers.

So lately I’ve noticed a big increase in people, specifically writers, using my gifs in their fics without my permission and without credit. I’m giving people the benefit of the doubt: I don’t think it’s done intentionally. I think folks, especially people who don’t make gifs, are simply unaware of the etiquette that goes with using them.

Now every gifmaker has their own rules, but as a very general rule we do not like our gifs being reposted and used without credit. Please always ask a content creator what their preference is. Don’t assume they are cool with something or won’t care. I won’t speak for my fellow gifmakers, so I’m only speaking for myself here. 

Please do not save my gifs. I can’t stop you, but once they’re saved to your phone or computer, you’re not going to remember where or from whom you saved them. So you’re unlikely to credit me if you use them.

Why is credit so important? Well, I spend just as much time and effort on my gifs as you do on your fics, and it would be nice to get a little acknowledgment. Imagine someone copies and pastes your fic, even partially, to their blog and then publishes it without crediting you as the original author. It would bum you out, too.

And even if you do me the courtesy of adding an @ mention, Tumblr still thinks you made the gif. Why? Because every time you upload a gif to this site, it assumes you are the creator and then the gif will show in the recommended gifs as yours.

That said, I’m not totally unreasonable, and I do encourage you to use Tumblr’s gif search engine. It credits the original gifmaker and links to the specific post the gif came from. I even get a notification, and I’ve found so many great fics I otherwise never would have come across just because someone searched for and used one of my gifs. This feature benefits you too!

And I know what you’re thinking: stop bitching and watermark your gifs. My personal opinion is that watermarks are ugly and diminish the quality of a gif. I’ve tried it and hated it, and I don’t want to hate the end result of something I spent hours working on. 

I love reading fanfic and I try to be supportive of writers, so I don’t think I’m being unreasonable by asking you to support us gifmakers. I’m not even asking for likes or reblogs, just a courtesy.

And, please, if I ask you to remove something, be good enough to do so. I’d much rather spend my time and energy reporting and blocking p*rnbots than fellow content creators who are already suffering enough on this website.

These are what I believe the Freezis Fairy Tales' covers would look like instead of being just blank slates like how the "Daughter of Evil" looked in "Praefacio of Blue", a lot of these were made with clip-art I found on Bing(my tablet's a Microsoft product, not Google's), except for "Jahime", "Tree Maiden", and "Daughter of Evil", they took hours to work on because they're not clip art..."The Duke and the Four Women" is also this to some extent because I had to remake the cover, mostly due to how eye bleeding the colors were. Jahime Jahime was a fairy tale written by Yukina Freezis. Inspired by the historical figure Jahime Hatsune, it tells the tale of a selfish princess who wanted to conquer all of Jakoku before being opposed by a young samurai and his allies. Yamiglass and the Three Foxes Yamiglass and the Three Foxes was a fairy tale written by the famous novelist Yukina Freezis and published sometime between EC 500 and EC 504. It gained great popularity during its original publication and earned the young novelist many fans(I have no idea what a Yamiglass is, so just I put in three foxes). The Frog and My Love Romance The Frog's and My Love Romance was a fairy tale written by Yukina Freezis and published circa EC 500. It tells of how a snake tries to get a frog to return his feelings for her, but the romance ends tragically. Written in Yukina's youth, it greatly impressed her father and demonstrated her skill in writing at a young age. Red Shoe Parade Red Shoe Parade was a fairy tale written by Yukina Freezis and published sometime before her death. It portrayed the adventures of the Shadow Parade, a band of criminals wearing red shoes that raped and pillaged the towns they passed. The Price of Performance:  Do You Really Get What You Pay For?

WARNING: EXTREMELY LONG POST AHEAD.  SKIP IF YOU DON'T HAVE ABOUT EIGHTEEN HOURS TO READ IT.

For those of you who shoot Fuji or Nikon in addition to your Leicas, you may find this very unscientific or unfair and very practical (some say amateurish) rendering comparison to be of interest.  

It just so happens that I ...umm, just happened...to find my old Nikon D80, with a Nikon 35/1.8 G lens.  With a crop sensor and a CCD chip, it's a pretty interesting camera.  I bought it new in 2008 and used it solidly for 5 years before getting my first digital M (rarely shot my M3s those days, and I regret it now that I can't get film easily).

I had been planning to compare the  Fuji X-E2 output with the Fujinon 35/1.4 vs. my Leica TL2 with Summilux-M 35/1.4.  When I found the Nikon, I figured I'd add it to the list for giggles.  I mean, what could a decade-old camera possibly do better than a current one?To make it all more confusing, I decided to try the Leica Summilux lens on the X-E2 (Fotodiox adapter) as a way to get some clue into the sensor and software differences between a (when new) $700 camera and a $3,250 camera.

The results may or may not speak for themselves, depending on your aesthetic senses or ocular abilities.

The full-res image files (or at least the maximum Facebook allows) are attached, with corresponding watermarks describing the lens manufacturer and body (Fuji Fuji = Fuji lens and Fuj body, Fuji 35 Lux = Leica M lens used with an adapter for X-to-M).  The Nikon was used only with the Nikkor lens because I didn't have an adapter for that camera.

Now this is by no means a scientific comparison. But I promise I tried.  I kept the environment the same, and the shots were taken within a span of about 10 minutes, so lighting is roughly the same.ISO ranged from 320 at the lowests (on the Leica) to 1600 at the highest (I set that as the max for all 3 cameras, set it at ISO Auto, and limited shutter speed to a max of 1/60th).  Funnily, the Nikon's highest setting IS 1600 - the CCD sensor, I'm guessing.I'm sure others would have used tripods, and perfected focus, and flash (I have no idea how, or why, to use those things) but I was shooting manual lenses on the Fuji and Leica.

At my age, I probably missed tack-focus a few times, but it doesn't really matter - something, somewhere in each image is in focus.  I was most interested in the color rendering, bokeh, clipping, and flaring.

ALL PICTURES were shot in their RAW equivalents, and converted to JPG via Exposure 3.5 with NO ADJUSTMENTS made to any of the sliders other than White Balance because the Fuji was rendering very dark blue.  The Leica was perfect, and the Nikon a tad too warm.  I left everything else, including exposure and contrast, alone, as I really wanted to see what out-of-camera RAW looks like.

My thoughts:

The CCD sensor, as dated as it is (2007ish) has spectacular color rendering and pop.  To me, it's arguably better than the CMOS sensors on the Leica or the Fuji, but the Leica does come pretty close.  I saw similar differences in the M9 vs M 240, but some post production sorts it all out.

The dynamic range of the Leica is significantly better than the Nikon (14 stops vs 10 stops), and somewhat better than the Fuji (12 stops).  This is clearly seen when you examine the images in Lightroom or Exposure.  The TL2 uses almost the entire Histogram range, whereas the Nikon skews to the right-side highlights and the Fuji skews to the left (heavily)

The Fujinon glass is spectacular, and is noticeably sharper than the Leica but nowhere near as creamy.  Lovely bokeh, but not Leica boke.  I prefer the Leica by a large margin, because for street photography sharpness is meaningless (at least to me) and "attitude" is more important.

The Leica Summilux still holds its own against the Fuji and Nikon in terms of light gathering and overall rendering/color.  The lens I use is  47 years old (!) and is neither aspherical nor apochromatically corrected.  It has some haze and scratches, and its coating is probably deteriorated. The Nikon lens is 11 years old, and the Fuji lens is 4 years old.  And yet the Summilux kills it every time.  It was also once the smallest fast lens made by anyone.  

The X-E2 is a damn good clicker, even though mine is 5 years old and there's newer tech.  I'm pleasantly surprised by that.  This is a camera I bought as a stop gap whilst waiting for my M-P 240 to arrive, and I've rarely shot it since.  Given its light weight, good autofocus, and great X Trans sensor, I may start taking it out again.

The combination of the Fuji sensor and Fujinon lens is more pleasing to me than the Fuji with the adapted Leica lens.  The Nikon with Nikon lens is similarly great.  But the Leica with Leica lens is certainly more interesting and more "3D" than the others.  Seems like the OEM lenses work best on the respective bodies.  That makes sense, given that the sensors/software are optimized to OEM lenses rather than 3rd party ones.

Conclusions?  Very few, actually.  As I said, OEM Bodies with OEM Lenses seem to work best and/or make the best out-of-camera images.   I'm guessing this has something to do with tweaking sensors and software to maximize the strengths and minimize the weaknesses of the related glass.  The TL2 is spectacularly good.  High ISO performance is better than my M.  The Fuji is a great buy for the money.  The X-E3 and 35/1.4 Fujinon lens will set you back about 1400 bucks.  The TL2 with the equivalent Leica lens would be about 7500.  

The Nikon D80 has no skin in this game.  Firstly, it's out of production, as is pretty much anything with a CCD sensor.  That's a shame, because studio work with decent lighting where you don't need to go above 1000 or so ISO is a great place to take advantage of a CCD's incredible depth and vibrance of color.  Secondly, I used it simply because I was curious about how it looked next to [the CMOS] Fuji and Leica images.  I am so pleasantly surprised that I think i may start carrying it around (in the daytime, of course) once in a while.

And so the chapter ends.  Next time I want to throw my M-P into the mix to see how the APS-C and Full Frame compete.

Hope this will be of interest to a few folks.  As I said, not a scientific comparison by any means, but rather, a real-world side-by-side that the pixel-peeper types will probably hate.  In which case, please keep scrolling
