Summary: She had felt her intestines squirm and wriggle for months after being sewn up, and that wasn't pleasant either. Kate wasn't supposed to feel her organs, and yet there it was, rubbing up against each other as it tried to squirm back into their proper positions.

From her very first Hunt after surviving her own, she had fled to the mines the day before it took place and stayed there, hiding from her repeating past only a few miles away. It was the first time she had willingly travelled through the forest and not from the pull that had manifested within her head, beckoning her to the mines as it crawled with uninvited visitors.
