Also!!! I got the wonderful opportunity to make a fancy cosplay of rejuvenated Spinel! I was invited to do a group cosplay with some way more experienced, professional cosplayers with the theme of “Steven Universe but as sugar plum fairies” as our only instruction. I was the only one in the group that didn’t actually know how to properly sew, but I’m still proud of myself for rising to the challenge with the limited knowledge I had! I got to be a VERY extra Spinel and I enjoyed every second of it 😌

Bonus pic of me and Pink Diamond because she is my actual real-life sister and we unsarcastically like each other and are best friends ❤️

Pretty sure I was the only person dressed in a Steven Universe cosplay at San Diego Comic con. But I love Spinel so that’s okay! I added some gothic jewelry to my cosplay so I drew Spinel wearing the outfit and going to the con with the TEAM.

Awhile back, I was sitting around bored waiting for commissions to roll in. I texted a friend for some doodle ideas, and one of them was "Lapis Lazuli cosplaying as Kim Pine".

Several weeks and a few commissions later, I completely forgot about this-- until that same friend messaged me to ask if I ever digitized it. I felt so embarrassed that I immediately sat down and speed-ran the entire process.

Phoenix Fan Fusion - Day 2

This was definitely a busy day! We had the Team Fortress 2 Cosplay meetup, the Villain's Ball, and lots of stuff happening!

The Team Fortress 2 Cosplay meetup deserves its own post, so I'll leave the details for that. But these are my favorite pictures from it!

I saw LOTS of different cosplayers. Once again, a truly wide and diverse variety of cosplays. I saw Lapis Lazuli aka Bob. I also saw Wally Darling from Welcome Home! There was someone cosplaying as the house too but they were busy so I couldn't snap a picture.

I went to the Villain's Ball as Kuromi! But I did walk around as Kuromi for a while too.

My Mum and her friend did what we've been calling: The Villain and the Villain's Creation!

I was extremely exhausted and excited throughout the day, but I definitely crashed hard around the end. It was a great day!

Throwing it back to one of my favorite cosplays of all time: Winter Lapis at Holiday Matsuri. I wanted to do a very fantastical inspired Lapis and I really think this one took the cake. @lazulicos on insta made these stunning wings that really took it next level. Photography done by @geekymermaidproductions on insta so you know the details are popping ✨ My darling @for_the_love_of_clod on insta as Peppermint Peridot will always be my favorite part, of course. I couldn’t see and could barely move but I really did feel very happy with this one at the end of the day.

11. what you have for breakfast on an average day? to be entirely honest it probably averages out to. a muesli bar. i feel sick if i eat too soon after i wake up, but i know i need sustenance at uni, so i take a muesli bar in my pocket and eat it half way through class. otherwise usually toast. usually peanut butter. crunchy
