"Nanu! And hello again Nox! Come on in!" His smile falters a little, glancing behind him before continuing. "Leila and Hapu are still talkin', but I don't think they'll take too long. We can jus' wait 'n the living room for 'em; can I get ya anythin' while we wait?"

[1] Leila of the Requiem: Local small town woman nearly gets turned into a Xenomorph incubator, raids a gun shop to survive and fucks an alien in a lake- More at 11.

[2] Leila of the Predators: Murderer for hire gets dropped on a game preserve planet, makes a deal with an alien to escape planet but won't stop making stupid space pick-up lines; somehow still fucks the alien.

[3] Leila of the Concrete Jungle: A hopeful Yautja returns to Earth to court a woman he fought alongside years ago, she's oblivious 'cause he used her as live bait during that time- that's beside the point- still manages to smash. There's a jealous rivalry with her cat.

[4] Leila of the Rogue: Ex-military gets hired by the government as a weapon's expert in a top secret facility, nearly kills herself making a prosthetic arm from stolen Yautja tech, survives, gets stolen herself by a Yautja on the lamb. The Yautja now must struggle to keep her alive since she keeps eating strange alien foods that may or may not be safe for human consumption. "What's in your mouth?" *runs* "WHAT'S IN YOUR MOUTH?!" Somehow still fuck.

[5] Leila of the Woods: Hermit woman trying to mind her business gets dragged into the woods by a weird-looking dog to find a big ass alien dying in a pond, decides to nurse them back to health with mac 'n' cheese and lets them sleep in the shed. Alien can't not fuck the woman who saved their ass???? Ignore the near 6 foot height difference, they make it work.

Rotomblr. I am Hapu, Kahuna of Poni Island. It has been suggested to me that I try to socialize with others online; while I initially assumed this impossible due to my various errands–tending to the farm and also my duties as Kahuna–both of my parents agreed the idea had merit, even if it would use some work. My Trainer Card is below, since I am not sure how many people outside of Alola will know me.

Also apparently they have technology that translates text to speech and my father was able to get an earpiece for me to use, so I can talk while things are slow in the fields too! Speaking of, both of my parents will be on this account as well; I will let them introduce themselves while I take care of some of the more laborious work here with Mudsy.

Oh wait we’re on here too–Hi there! My name is Gerbera, or just ‘Bera. I’m Hapu’s father, and a botanical researcher on Akala Island! Which does sadly mean I’m not at home too often, but I drop by when I can!

Alola everyone! I am Leilani, or Leila for short. I’m Hapu’s mother and handle some of the bigger political matters of Poni Island, and Alola with the other Kahunas, as Hapu’s representative. Even though she is Kahuna now, the three of us agreed it would be wise to give her some help with matters outside of battling or tending to the gardens here.

Bera and I will just mostly be keeping an eye on things and only pop up if Hapu needs something clarified.

Guess who fell face first down that slippery slope again, it's me!! Unlike the other two, this one has been sitting in the back of my brain for a while and was a little slower to come about, hence why I didn't put up a poll.

… that and once I saw the Alola muses crawling out of the woodwork I knew who I wanted to be once I gave into peer pressure.

watching a turkish drama now and its just the right touch of fucking insane

#its called duy beni btw #and first I like watching it cause I speak persian and I never realized how similar persian and Turkish are #like so much of the same vocabulary #second the plot is so crazy 😭 #its a bit dramatic #honestly watching so many foreign dramas im starting to realize american media is not nearly as dramatic as these other shows #nor are they as long THESE TURKISH DRAMAS ARE 2 HOURS LONG PER EPISODE #like is it that serious do we really need this many scenes #anyways let me break down the plot cause it kinda reminds me of elite #its basically about this girl named ekim who is best friends with this girl leila #and one day while ekim and leila are walking to school leila is hit by a car #and the person that hit Leila was wearing a clown mask and then drove off into the parking lot of a nearby school #where only rich kids attend #and so people are able to conclude that whoever hit leila was someone that went to that school #but the school covers up the whole thing and then to make amends offers a scholarship to three students from the neighborhood #and ekim wanting to be the avenger attends the rich school along with her two friends bekir and ayse #and boy does this school have its problems. like crazy ass bullying #and its all about how ekim’s trying to figure out who hit leila while also trying to survive the very intense bullying culture at the school #and you know after watching so many foreign dramas and seeing how bullying seems to be a very common issue in all of them #its starting to make me see how the us is a little bit different in that regard #don’t get me wrong we have some very sick and twisted bullying happening here #but a lot of is cyber and relational bullying #so not necessarily as physical or even verbal but mostly done through rumors and gossip and exclusion #and then with the added fact of being jerks on the internet #and although relational bullying is terrible the stuff ive seen in these kdramas and turkish dramas seems... like REALLY bad? #Ive seen a lot of Koreans talk about how bullying is a really severe problem in their schools but I wonder how bad it actually is in turkey #cause I assume duy beni is not the 100% accurate portrayal of turkish schools #anyways

Coming Soon! Leila of the Prey

I'm happy to announce that the sixth installment of the Leila series will be coming soon! I thought it would be fun to make a 'fancy' announcement for it since this series began back in 2018 with Leila of the Requiem and is still going in 2024 with a sixth book. I want to thank old readers for sticking with this series for so long and would love to welcome new readers to join Leila on her adventures!

Summary: Leila is a farmer in the 1700s until she is abruptly stolen from her home. Kidnapped by traders, she is taken to the seas and sold under the pretenses of being a contract cook. Leila wants nothing more than to get back home, but she doesn't speak the language and every attempt to escape is foiled.

Rather than waste their money, the trappers decide to use Leila as bait to lure out bears and other large predators to be killed and sold. Leila is full of fury at her circumstances only to become too sick to fight back anymore. To get one last use out of Leila before she succumbs to her sickness, the trappers tie her to a tree to lure out The Beast also killing in those woods.

Warning: Like the previous fics in the series, Leila of the Prey will contain topics intended for an 18+ audience. Some such topics will be kidnapping, murder, gore, nudity, and sex. Please read responsibly.
