Heya my dudes! So, I know it’s been a while since the last episode of Sister Crime Time, but @lizzybugg and I both have very valid excuses.

School. College. University. 

Liz lives in a completely different county from me now, too so that’s a huge reason we haven’t recorded in so long.

But!

The spring semester is over for me, and will be over for Liz in just under a week! 

We’ve decided that episodes will be mainly recorded and posted in the summertime and on seasonal breaks!

We have a whiteboard with the countdown and she yells at me every time she sees it and keeps begging to start the book earlier.

Warner can’t be that bad if he likes dogs. People always say you can tell a lot about a person based on how they respond to and treat animals. And Warner just let a dog cuddle into him for warmth, drool all over his clothes, and fed it. I kind of want Warner to adopt the dog…

Amber’s (this is what we’re calling the baby sister) Book Journey

Okay, ya’ll. Officially a new series.

Baby sister (Amber) just got to Chapter 49 which is Leo’s first POV chapter after being flung away from the Argo II by Khione.

We finished the chapter before that when Percy defeated Akhlys and is now facing Nyx.

She squealed when I read the name “Leo” for the next chapter.

I have never heard that kind of sound come out of her before.

Needless to say, she is loving The House of Hades.

Amber is already 63% of the way through The Blood of Olympus. WE JUST STARTED ON SUNDAY!!!!

If I were reading by myself, it wouldn’t surprise me with how fast I’d be getting through the book.

But she is eating this up. We were already about 30% through by Monday. This is the fastest we’ve ever moved through a book with her.

I finished Unravel Me about an hour ago. So now I’m at work and am gonna start Ignite Me since we are super slow during the winter (I work at Bruster’s, guys).

I thought for sure that Juliette was going to run away with Warner or help him escape because of his badly the other “freaks” at Omega Point wanted him dead. But getting kidnapped and shot by Anderson… I did not really anticipate any of that.

I was honestly not expecting for me to like this series as much as I am. I thought it would be something like, “Oh, this is cute. Okay. A little overhyped by booktok.” But no. I was a little more intrigued after reading the synopsis and author’s note for Shatter Me. And now I’m absolutely hooked on this series.

She had to set the book down when Leo died and was sobbing. It was amusing for me, but horrible and possibly traumatic for her.

We’re starting The Red Pyramid from The Kane Chronicles tonight.
