" -Where were you? -… " Arnav is smilling. -"What are you looking at me like that? Why are you standing silently? When and where you went? Why didn't you inform anyone? -… "

Khushi was extremely worried about Arnav's safety. Just like he also can be when he thinks she might be in a bad situation. Arnav disappeared for three hours without answering his phone, something he never does.

He probably went somewhere in secret, probably in relation to Khushi. Where did he go? He also clearly lied to Anjali when she asked him about it ! 👀

"- Do you know how many times I tried to call you? Do you even … -Why? Are you bothered if I leave? -It does bother me ! I'm so worried !"

He's so suprised to see her that worried for him. His heart is so happy, he can't hide the satisfaction in his face, full of smiles. CUUUTIE !! Khushi starts questioning him about his absence confessing she cares. He loves every second of that questioning session lol. He makes sure she repeats how worried she was. He got words, a confession, not what he has in mind, but it's enough to make him happy.

"Be careful Khushi, orselse, I'll think you're worried about me!" Arnav is even more happy, she's behaving as if she was his girlfriend/wife. And he loves her openly claiming him.

"Why is everyone worried about me?" Arnav is annoyed seing Khushi leaving, and the fact that they are yet again missing the chance for them to speak about their relationship more because of Anjali's entrance.

He makes sure to let her know with this sentence that he knows that indeed she's worry for him, worried like a girlfriend can be for the man she loves. He wants her to know that there is no turning back from that confession.

"At least I got to know how much I'll get missed."

There is no turning back indeed. Khushi claimed her man to the point of puting a A on her hand unconsciously LMAO !

Arnva is shocked and really touched to hear the phone message she left accidently. "So she was also willing to admit she cares for me on the phone? She said it, without me trying to make her confess !! My precious Khushi ! I didn't just caught her being worried for me in secret, she wasn't trying to hide it , I need to talk to her, I can't miss that chance !"

" -So you called me? -No …not at all, when?"

Arnav clearly heard her voicemail but here is she trying to deny she did. Arnav can't hide the smile on his face and the love in his eyes. He finds her so adorable !!!

"So you were worried" "Khushi say it to my face, I want to hear it from you again! Tell me how much important I am to you! I know you said it because you thought something bad happen to me ! I want you to tell you just care no matter what ! Then, I would ask you why, and you would've to answer, do it Khushi pleeeeease !! Let's hurry, and move to the next step already !"

Arnav's eyes lighten when he saw the A on Khushi hand! Another evidence after that voicemail that Khushi can't deny! This scene is one of my favs, ugh I love how he's teasing her !! My babies are so cuute !

But Khushi is too embarrassed to the point of trying to say that the voice in that voicemail isn't hers and the A as nothing to do with his name LOOOL GIIIIIIRL !!! 😂🤣😅

Arnav can't be mad at her ridiculous attempts to hide how much she cares, especially when her attempts are ridiculously so adorable haha. She's so cute, he wants to kiss her. And he will try soon hehe !

Khushi sense how annoyed Arnva is because of Nk ruining his attempt to make her confess.

From that moment, she'll use Nk to annoy Arnav. She can now see he doesn't like how Nk tries to flirt with her, how jealous he is !! 😏

At this point, the only thing Khushi doesn't know is how much he cares for her. She knows he likes her and desires her. But still can't dare to believe is in love with her as much as she is with him !

Khushi choose to use Nk cause Arnav didn't give her any other choice. He didn't take pity on her when he knew how much embarrassed she was for having to face all those evidences of her feelings lol.

So she decides to play his "game", she uses the evidence she found out just now to her revenge. What evidence? HIS jealousy !

Khushi doesn't know Arnav is jealous not because he sees Nk as a credible rival but because it bother him to see him steal her attention and most importantly, he reminds him of what he still couldn't achieve : make her smile.

Hiiii again!!

I had a phenomenal time at the concert!!! I went to see was Yuja Wang's piano recital and when I say my mind was blown I truly mean my mind was blown. I couldn't even form proper sentences afterwards. She also played like 6, maybe 7 I lost track, encores after having played 8 pieces. She is truly so talented and so captivating to watch. She is such a beast and played for almost 3 hours!! Although I did see that she did a Rachmaninoff marathon so she definitely has the endurance! Also the outfits, shoes, and her iconic bow was EVERYTHING!! sorry I'm just geeking out over here 😂🥴

Ahhh that's so cuute and I'm glad I was able to bring some happiness to your day!! 🫶🏽 I've definitely just been lurking in the background quietly cheering you on lol but the second I saw the sequel I literally screamed and needed to tell you how excited I was!! bought some super cuuute clothes at the thrift today and i just tried it on and its all real cute except for this one sweater that i guess lol was like knitted by someone but was knitted in the wrong size so like it didnt fit around the arms. like it def wasnt just too tight like whoever knitted it didnt get it right so like it was rly tight and weird around the neck and arms so that kinda sucks i wasted money on that but also p cute. anyways other stuff i got was some dark red pants which i already have a pair but the pair i have is p tight so i got these cause they actually fit normal. like theyre both skinny pants but these are a bit wearable so ya :D then i got this green shirt thats like a nice material and i can def wear with other stuff. and then some black shorts and i already have black shorts v similar but these grip to the butt more than the other ones but just slightly so not super noticable so i like both a lot and then the cutest thing i got was this like sexy red velvet lingerie type dress :D like its just a normal looking dress but its one of those sexy ones that doesnt actually go down very far so like it doesnt cover down there and is like supposed to be sexy for seducing people lol. it looks real cute on me and is def the best thing i got today :D dont think ill be able to post any pics of it tho for obvious reasons but its like super cuute

❔ If viewers are especially generous with donations one night, or one of them comes out in order to give him helpful information they found about you online (that he didn't already know, of course), Edward is quick to reward with a special stream of a continuous onlookers view of your own bedroom. It didn't take him too long to figure out how to directly stream what was happening from the view of the microphone and camera set that he placed in your bedroom, but when he did, he was finally able to show to his followers a whole new level to your purity, one they themselves couldn't even begin to imagine. Of course, Edward follows up with his own discussion stream, commenting on the various posters and figures you have displayed throughout your room, detailing how you found the franchises such merchandise depicts as well as photos of the inside view of your closet, which happened to be closed for that stream, much to his viewer's collective dismay

❓ The stream was a smash hit, so much so that it made its way to the news - before the police alerted you, or identified you even. It was sickening, but not in the way your stalkers saw it. They saw it as appreceating your beauty for what it was, and they'd much rather hear those cute sleeping noises you would always make instead of the sobs that were born from your paranoia and insomnia. Media officials were quick to bring you on television to give their "condolences" and to nationalize your dilemma, while Riddler and his followers were also quick to respond with their hatred of the media for doing what they believed was unrightful and clear exploitation of your image.

❔ When the cops eventually do find you, Riddler is quick to brodcast footage of them terrorizing you from inside your home, asking you "questions" and giving you their "support". It was sickening, to him and his followers at least. And if your safety from the rats of this city is promised, they're all fine with holding hostage a few little piggy offsprings, just to make sure they never step foot near you again.

Membrane x Sleep Deprived! Male! Reader (fluff)

Outside POV:

Professor Membrane was the leading force of a scientific renaissance. He had found the barrier preventing humanity to travel beyond the horizon line. And he crushed it. Interstellar travel was now possible for humankind. Membrane was a person that would go down in the history books.

His dear friend, (Y/N), was a first responder—more specifically, an EMT. While it wasn't as important to the world as Membrane was, it was certainly more stressful. Everyday you could get called to respond to a sore throat or a burn victim. After witnessing his first death on job, it definitely took a toll on their psyche.

Watching a complete stranger is one thing. Having to try and stop the blood loss that was caused by some idiot getting impaled, however...

As a result, he often had sleepless nights. Whether it be from rushing to get someone to a hospital or the guilt that came with the failure was anybody's guess.

Membrane new this was bad for (Y/N), but what could he say to him? That enjoying your own life was more important than the loss of multiple? Of course not that sounds insensitive. But Membrane often spoke bluntly and could never find a better way to phrase it. So he kept quiet.

Until one day where (Y/N) called him near midnight. His speech was slightly slurred and Membrane could hear the tired drunkenness in their voice.

"Heyy Professor~" (Y/N) drawled. This was going to be a long night.

"Yes, (Y/N)?"

"I knoww we doon't talk much anymorre, but, uhhh, could you? pick me up toniight?" Membrane sighed before asking for the address.

He hastily got into his car and drove over to get (Y/N). He was so irresponsible. How did he even manage to make it through the day if he can barely stay awake half the time?

It was a desolate drive towards the bar (Y/N) was at. Even his favorite music didn't help distract him from his thoughts. He didn't take (Y/N) for a drinker, but he was wrong about lots of things when it came to people. He dealt with space. Not people.

"-And thassss my ride!" (Y/N) howled to a group of drunks that were with him. A strong red flushed his cheeks. "Bye guyssss! Au revoir!!" They cheered him on as he stumbled into Membrane's car.

"WHA- SHOTGUN!!" He jumped into the seat next to the driver as he uselessly fumbled with the seatbelt. With a tired sigh, Membrane buckled him in. "Thaaank youu, babyyyy!!"

As much as that was cute, he couldn't laugh. (Y/N) was in a drunken stupor. But then again, a drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts. Membrane blushed at the thought. 'No no, that's ridiculous' he thought.

"You're going home." He spike in a stern tone, like a mother scolding her child. (Y/N) deeply frowned, crossed his arms, and puffed out his cheeks, like a little kid. He was probably imagining a ninja running on top of the buildings they passed like one too. He always was childish. Membrane liked that in him. He could somehow have such a bubbly personality despite the threat of death looming over his hands.

'How would he act if he wasn't tired?' Membrane wondered. Every time they had managed to see each other, (Y/N) had his hair pulled back (guys with long-shoulder length hair, y'all are so valid. Y'all get a ponytail/bun if you want lol) with dark circles under his eyes. And every time, he was chugging coffee. Black, apparently. As an EMT, he probably never got any true sleep.

"Heyyy, Professsorrr, we're hooome," a sleepy voice called out. Membrane realized that he drove all the way home without noticing. Muttering useless formalities, he stepped out of the car and carried his friend into the house.

"You knoow... you're face is soo cuute~" Membrane blushed.

"Come on, (Y/N), let's get you to bed." (Y/N) groaned. He didn't want to go to bed yet. He didn't want Membrane to leave before he fulfilled his promise.

~FLAAAAASHBAAACK~

At the bar, (Y/N) was speaking with his usual drinking buddies—the hopeless drunks that would listen to him and entertain his fantasies. Anything was possible to them. Fuck, some of them drunk absinthe.

"Guyss, I got a prroblemm." This peaked their attention. One of them, Stanley, asked what was eating him.

"Soo, I got a crushh on my neighborrr. Annnd I don' know how to tell 'im. " (Y/N) paused, "Like,,, I don't even think he likes be baack, but I GOTTA KNOWW!"

Tom, the most drunk (unsurprisingly), slurred a response. "Jussss' tell him!! What could go wRong???" A goofy smile was plastered on his face.

Richard, the least drunk and the one that was making sure they didn't do anymore things they'd regret, started listing off a bunch of things that can (and will) go wrong.

(Y/N) didn't pay attention. Tom had a pretty good point.

"II GOT THISSS!! IMA TELL 'IM" (Y/N) got out his phone and called Membrane.  Everyone at the table went quiet.

After a few dial tones, he responded.

"Heyy Professor~" (Y/N) slurred. Richard's eyes widened while Stanley and Tom were making dick jokes. Of course.

"Yes, (Y/N)?"

"I knoww we doon't talk much anymorre, but, uhhh, could you? pick me up toniight?" He begrudgingly asked for the address and said he would be there soon.

Cheers erupted from the small group. It was a simple task, but it was done nonetheless.

~FLAAAAASHBAAACK~

"Professorrrr!" He called out. Membrane turned towards him as he turned to key to (Y/N)'s apartment.

"What?" He sounded tired. (Y/N)'s smile faltered at his crush's tone.

"Could you... could you stay over?" It was spoken with such clarity that Membrane actually gasped. (Y/N) peered up at him. 'Dammit He was using the puppy-dog-eyes.'

"I-I guess." (Y/N) smiled up at Membrane; it was a purity you wouldn't expect from him. The flustered scientist looked away, but a light pink peaked out from under his collar.

He guided the drunken man to his bed. (Y/N) made grabbing motions towards him. He wanted Membrane to stay with him.

Membrane ignored it and went into the kitchen. A distant whine was heard as he set out some Advil for the next day. He walked back into the room and the tired man beamed.

"Come!" Membrane chuckled, and sat next to (Y/N) on the bed.

"Hey, guess what."

"Hm?"

"I like you." Membrane's face flushed a bright crimson. (Y/N) likes him? No, no, no, he's drunk. He doesn't know what he's saying.

Then Membrane was kissed on the lips. It was short, but filled with passion. (Y/N)'s lips tasted like brandy.

"Good night professorrr~" he sleepily said. He felt arms wrap around him as he slowly lost consciousness.

(Y/N) woke up with a massive hangover. He groaned in pain as he clutched his head. He looked around and was surprised to find he was in his own bed. And even more surprised to see his crush clinging onto his torso. Membrane stirred in his sleep, cuddling closer. (Y/N) smiled.

Membrane suddenly whispered into his skin, "You said some interesting things last night."

He tried to recall what happened, but everything was hazy. "What happened?"

Membrane sat up and pulled (Y/N) into a tender kiss.

He pulled away from a shocked (Y/N). "I love you too."
