Lol last night- im a big crier tbh.

HELL no- I pretty much raised my little sis for a few years, but I was a kid myself and despite the fact I had to constantly stop her from calling me “mama” i don't think it really counts

All the time but only at work tbh. I work with nothing but cishet men and bc of that curse I constantly have an attitude and sarcasm is a pretty common part of that.

Tbh I’m incredibly hypervigilant so the first thing I notice is if a person gives off any kind of indication that they are going to be an absolute asshole. Other than that? What makes people unique from is usually what I try to notice first :>

Depends on my mood >:3 sometimes i LOVE a good horror show or slasher its awesome. Other times i need a story that illustrates the good things in the world or else ill descend into madness.

I'm an excellent writer and singer actually! I can also play the mario-bros theme by tapping my cheeks to make that bubble-popping sound. Most useless thing ever lmao.

Writing primarily! I have several novels in the works right now in various early stages :D i also love to read and do watercolors on occasion :3

Free Day! (Pt.2)

A/N: wahoo, part two baby. I realized as I was writing this that if I included all of them in one post it would be like a mile long, and I would only have one post out. So @kokokatsworld I hope you don’t mind that I used your ask for extra content, lol. I’ll tag you in all of them as they come out, so don’t worry!
Mikey groaned, “I’m so booorredd.”
The normally energetic turtle sat deflated, stomach-down on a bean bag, his foot tapping the ground.
“Have you drawn yet today?” You said slinking into another beanbag next to him. He turned his head to you.
“I’ve tried, but it’s like all my mojo juice is gone— Even a pencil feels like.. like one thousand pounds!” He sighed, smushing his face into the beanbag, “and I really wanted to practice some more today too.”
“Hmm,” you thought aloud, “maybe you just need some variety. What about baking something?”
“I looked through the kitchen. Someone -ahem Raph ahem- forgot to restock our pantry so there’s basically only cornstarch and food coloring left...”
There was an air of silence as you looked around hoping to lock onto something that might give you an idea. Hmph... what can we do with cornstarch and food coloring?
Like a switch flipped in your mind, you looked to Mikey who was staring back with the same wide-eyed expression. “Omigosh, are you thinking what I’m thinking?” You and the little Box jumped out of your beanbags and bounded off to the kitchen.
Within seven minutes twenty different colored cups of chalky, pastel liquid covered the countertops. Oobleck paint! The perfect idea. Easy to make, easy to wash off...
“Oh wait- one last thing!” He ran off, grabbed a handful of paintbrushes and threw them into the cups. And super easy to fling at your friends. “And now we’re ready! Who should we hit first?”
“Hey Mikey, have you seen my flash-y drive?” Donnie walked in absentminded, typing away at his tech brace. “I can’t seem to locate it- which is pretty ironic considering I designed it to literally fla- OHGOD”
Mikey whooped as you both pounced on him, slinging the paint and covering him from head-to-toe in pastel yellow and pink. “Oh come on, not again!” He groaned out, “You know pastels aren’t my colors!”
In his nonchalant-but-totally-not-regretting voice, Mikey said, “Relaaxxx, D. It washes off.”
You could practically see the veins popping out of his massive forehead. “Oh yeah, I’m sure it’ll just wash out of all the crevices in my DELICATE TECH easy peasy. So Easy Peasy that— that there’s not even a need for Lemon Saueezy!” The way his voiced peaked at the end had you and mike holding onto each other for dear life to keep from doubling over.
Clearing your throat, you walked up to Donnie and slung your arm around his tense shoulders. He was glaring straight lasers through your head, sure, but you didn’t care. “Jees,” you said to Mikey, “you’d think a guy who prides himself on his genius would remember to add a mess-proof layer, huh?” At this point Mikey was close to collapsing on the floor. He smacked your arm off.
“OOHKAY, that’s it!” He launched two paint cups in your directions. One, completely drenching you in green, and the other hitting Mikey square in the face. “HaHA. Take that!”
“Oh it is ON, baby!”
Before you knew it you and Mikey were crouched behind a turned over table, furrowed brows and markings painted on your faces. You can’t remember when they joined in, but you knew Leo and Raph were hiding out as well, ready to strike. Now, it was a war zone.
“We attack on my count, okay?” Mikey nodded as you both turned out. You held up your hand holding your brush; slowly your fingers lifted. “One.”
“Two.”
“THREE!”
War cries erupted from every corner of the kitchen, colors flew everywhere striking makeshift armor from pots and pans. You don’t know how long it went on for, nor how many times you were hit, but it ended with each of you exasperated on the floor, still trying to weakly fling what was left of the paint at each other. “No!! I’ll... I’ll never let you get away with this!” Donnie feebly reached out for a paintbrush only for the snap! of the smack of tail to send it flying.
“What did you do to my kitchen?!” Splinter shrieked.
“Uh.”
“Well-“
“It wasn’t me! Mikey and Y/N started it. See-” Splinter held a finger to his mouth.
“All of you will clean this mess up, now!” He turned, mumbling something as he walked out, “and the countertops better be shiny enough to see my handsome face in!”
“Way to throw us under the bus, Donnie.” Mikey sneered.
“You were already in the road, dear Michael. The bus had just arrived per its due course.” He cleared his throat, “... and also with a little bit of help from my ‘Everyone But Me Is Doing Something Stupid’ alarm.”
“Donnie!” You sighed, “Fine, let’s just get this over with.” Grabbing the supplies, you all set to work.
Mopping up next to him you said, “Sorry it had to end this way, Mikey.”
“Nah,” he smiled, scrubbing at a counter, “I’m having fun!”
“Really?”
“Yeah, besides it was both of our ideas, and we would’ve had to clean up sometime anyway. I’m just glad at least you’re here!”
“Hmm, I dunno... a pastel paint zone seems like like it would be an interesting change in décor.” You chuckled, “What a shame.”
“Well.. it’s not entirely a waste.” He flung his rag over his shoulder, “I think it helped get some of my mojo back, and I’ve got juuuust enough for one more thing!”
You finished up with cleaning, and frankly, it was due time for the kitchen to get a pampering. After chilling on the couch, you went back to Mikey’s room to collect your stuff to leave, but before you left he said he had something to show you.
“Tada!!” He held up a small banner flecked with pastel yellow and pink. On it was a drawing of you two posing victoriously atop his pile of brothers, heroically brandishing paintbrushes.
You couldn’t help but light up at the sight. “Mike, this is awesome!!”
“Well that’s good, because it’s yours.” He folded it up and tucked it in your bag before you could protest. “May today be now forever known as the day that Mikey van (Y/N)burg won the Great Oobleck War!” He saluted, jokingly.
You laughed and thanked him as you said your goodbyes, and that late afternoon when you got home you tacked up the banner by your bed. After all, what better way to start a day than to see you and your best friend taking on the world (or his three older brothers) together?

IKR!? That would be the coolest thing ever--TS2 has aged extraordinarily well, considering it’s a 20+ year old game. All it needs is modern meshes/textures and graphics, and updated pop culture references--the gameplay is arguably better than TS3; its neighborhoods are pretty great; the lore is iconic, and the TS2 community is still thriving to this day. A TS1/TS2 remake would be the best thing for The Sims franchise, rather than making TS5. The Resident Evil 2 remake was outstanding. Unfortunately, Final Fantasy 7′s remake wasn’t all it was hyped up to be, and they took it in what many feel is the WRONG direction. So simmers would have to hope EAxis wouldn’t eff up and like, remove any of TS2′s features; just add to what’s already there (TS3′s CASt & Story Progression, TS4′s build mode, Freeplay’s venues, etc).

PREACH! Greenplumboblover singlehandedly proved that simmers can create whatever the heck we want, given the know-how. I can’t wait to see what else the community comes up with (I want peacocks, just saying 🦚). It just goes to show that EA is lazy AF--ONE PERSON created a farm animal from scratch in their free time, for free, and I bet it didn’t take GPL 6 whole years to make them, the way it took EA 6 years to convert the chickens and cows from TS3 to TS4 for $40. 🙄 #EAYouSuck

Maybe try making custom made bird cages to fit their bodies? Maybe that solve the size issue? Cool idea regardless tho.
This is actually a neat solution, thank you! Using even the regular log-perch would definitely look better, agreed. My main concern is the clipping when sims interact with the dragons though. They’re huge when sims hold them, and constantly clip right through their heads.
Granted, even my bunny rabbits clip through heads when sims snuggle them, but it’s not 100% of the time (more like 75%, pfft).
But my dragons are downright unplayable at the size they are, which makes no sense, cuz I didn’t resize the meshes at all! They snap back to their regular size in-between every animation, and I have no clue why, cuz all I did was swap the meshes/textures--this makes no frikkin sense. 😩

2020 Creator Wrap
2020 Creator Wrap: Favorite Works
Okay, okay, I know I’m late with this but the incredibly sweet @irolltwenties and the utterly delightful @anthrobrat were both kind enough to me in this bad boy and it seems really fun, so here we are!
Rules: it’s time to love yourselves! choose your 5 (or so) favorite works you created in the past year (fics, art, edits, etc.) and link them below to reflect on the amazing things you brought to the world in 2020. Tag as many writers/artists/etc. as you want (fan or original) so we can spread the love and link each other to awesome works!
According to my AO3 statistics page, I wrote just over 100K of fiction this year, across 17 different fandoms, a few of which won’t actually go live until after the New Year because they’re part of a gifting collection that hasn’t been revealed yet... Anyway, I picked my faves for a variety of reasons, listed briefly after each link. If you have any questions about works I’ve shared (or just in general) feel free to ask!
1. Front Row at the Gongshow
The Pacific, 16K, Rated G
Andrew ‘Ack Ack’ Haldane/Edward ‘Hillbilly’ Jones
Aside from being the longest completed work I produced this year, this is also the first fic I’ve ever written using the “found document” format. While there are parts of it I feel really conflicted about, I’m still incredibly proud of it and think it’s one of the better fic I’ve written...possibly ever. Which is doubly funny because I don’t usually do modern AUs of period fiction, but the hockey angle was enough to tempt and lo, here we are, lol.
[Excerpt from Deadspin]
"You all remember Eddie Jones, right? The corn-fed captain of the New Orleans Rougarou so wholesome he belongs on a box of Malt-O-Meal? The gentleman bruiser who spends his free time playing country tunes for kids with cancer?
Our favorite dapper D-man led his team to 97 points last night in a shut-out victory against the Los Angeles Kings, clinching a playoff spot for the first time in franchise history. Oh! And he also got caught on camera at the after-party, sucking face. WITH A DUDE."
2. Entremets

Will Graham/Hannibal Lecter
I have...so many Hannibal fic that I’ve started writing and haven’t finished because all my ideas lead to long plotty epics and also big name fandoms scare me. I did this one up for Eat, Drink, & Make Merry, and I’m really, really pleased with the way it turned out, considering it was my first foray into establishing new character voices and also a successful exercise in writing explicit content, which can be a bit of an Ordeal for me, so overall I’m incredibly happy with it. Plus! My deep and abiding love of writing characters cooking/eating/otherwise dealing with food finally paid off!
“The pâté was supposed to be more of a gesture,” Will explains, spreading a golden sliver of honeycomb out across a slice of sopressata with the blade of his pocket knife. “You don’t actually have to eat it. I’m not even sure if it’s any good.” He smears a healthy dollop of chȇvre across his meat-and-honey concoction and pops the whole thing into his mouth without ceremony.
“What better method exists by which to convey one’s appreciation of a gesture than to indulge it?”
3. An Ode to Matty Big-Time
The Good Place, 2K, Rated T
Jason Mendoza/Original Male Characters, Pillboi
This one was actually a request made by my very dear @thesummoningdark, who wanted to see some bisexual Jason per that one fantastic Tumblr post about how everyone in TGP should be bi, and I’m really, really proud of the way it turned out. I love writing comedy and I very rarely get to lean into it as hard as I’d like, so delving into the whole wild craziness of Jacksonville, as explained in the show was really fun. I also love writing original characters, and this was a great excuse to indulge.
“We probably shouldn’t do any butt stuff,” Jason warns, with as much gravitas as he can muster. “I had two of Stupid Nick’s Disaster Buckets when I got here.”
“Yeah, your face is still kinda orange,” Mateo agrees fondly, bringing his other hand up to brush his thumb over Jason’s lower lip. It stirs a little frisson of heat in his belly that Jason is 68% sure isn’t just indigestion. “No chemical burns, though, so I think you came out on top.”
4. This and Who I Used to Be
The Tick (2017), 3K, Rated G
Arthur Everest/Superian
Another new fandom I haven’t written in before, this was a fill for the Rare Male Slash Exchange that turned me on to a pairing I’d never even thought of before I wrote it and am now low-key obsessed with. It is also, to date, the ONLY Arthur/Superian fic on AO3 at all, which is a cool weird honor and fairly indicative of my life’s goal to eventually write my way into smaller and smaller fandoms until I come out the other side with original works. It was really fun to explore these characters, and to figure out some world-building for Superian’s backstory that fit within the tone and established canon of the extant Amazon!Tick universe. Also featuring an original character that nobody asked for but I’ve come to love unconditionally.
Arthur glances down to where Superian has one cheek pressed against his shoulder, humming something off-key and unintelligible with his eyes closed. Arthur sighs. “Let’s get you inside.”
He hauls Superian in until he can prop him against the wall while he shuts and locks the door behind him. When he looks back over, Superian is smiling at him, soft and lazy. He swings a finger in Arthur’s direction, a broad, sloppy motion, and announces, “I knew you’d say yes.”
“Technically I said fine,” Arthur rebuts. He gestures down the hallway toward the kitchen—which leads on to the bedroom, as Superian well knows—and sighs, “Come on. I don’t know what those handcuffs did to you, but you should probably lie down and have a glass of water or something.”
5. Rain in Its Season
Band of Brothers, 12K, Rated G
Edward ‘Babe’ Heffron/John Julian
Oh boy. What to say about this one. It’s maybe not as polished as I might have preferred, but I feel that way about mostly everything I write and at the end of the day I do really love what I managed to do with this piece. Written for the Heavy Artillery Rare Pair Exchange, I managed to lean heavily into both my love for needlessly granular period research and original characters, which are abundant herein. Frankly, based on the very little we see of him in the show, Julian himself is practically an OC, but I digress. This was another of the longer pieces I’ve ever finished and I’m proud of it even if I’d’ve liked to write another 15K or so, time constraints notwithstanding.
“Tell me. Please. Why’re you here?”
Babe flinched, gaze dropping to the floor. His heart was a raw, swollen welt in his chest. He swallowed and licked his lips, slow and pained.
“Come on, Julian,” he rasped, low and quiet. “You know why.” He laughed, soft and hoarse, and shook his head, once. When he looked back up, Julian had taken a careful step into the center of the room. His eyes were very dark, his mouth very red, hope and fear warring in his every feature. Babe fisted his fingers in the cotton sheet underneath him, halfway to pleading as he insisted, “You gotta know.”
Julian sighed and came over to hover at the edge of the bed. Babe spread his legs to accommodate the intrusion.
“That was - ” Julian started. His voice failed midway through the protest, and he swallowed, took a breath, and regrouped at a lower volume. “You said that was just buddies, what we did over there. That it didn’t count. That you didn’t want it to.”
The TL;DR of this all being that while I didn’t write as much I wanted to this year in terms of volume, I feel like my quality has been improving consistently and hope it continues to do so into 2021 while I try to finish out some of my years-long WIPs and get into longer completed pieces.

I was tagged by @rzrcrst to share five things about me so we all can get to know each other better. Thanks sweets! :D
I was raised in a tiny house with six other people and a bigger side of medium sized dog, I thrive on noise and chaos lol. I am loud, opinionated, have a lax standard when it comes to boundaries, and don’t take personal offense easily. (Do I get Angry? Yes. I have a Temper that I really should see someone about lol, but I don’t take personal offense if someone gets mad and calls me an idiot or steals the last of the pop tarts.) That being said, I am well and truly satisfied being by myself, making my own noise however and whenever I see fit- I think it’s the novelty personally, it probably won’t ever wear off lol. That’s not to say I don’t miss those chaos days. Getting back together with all of my siblings is my favorite thing to do. No one can quite match me screaming opinion for screaming opinion as they can lol. In the line of my friends my siblings will always come first, they’re built in bffs that you never have to worry about pretending with.
I’m sure that at some point very early on in my life I must have made a conscious decision that my big brother was The Authority on Everything That Is Cool and Awesome, but it must have been VERY early because I don’t remember it. All I know is that the standard by which I have always measured if something is Cool and if I should Like it/Do it has been if Kevin has either done it before or also thinks it’s cool lol. Kevin did karate, so Meghan did karate. Kevin wore flannel shirts over tee shirts? Meghan STILL does that lol. He got sick of the more age appropriate boy bands I was listening to in jr. high so he burned me CDs with bands like Blue October and The Tea Party and Rammstein and Korn et al on them and said they were cool. And So It Was lol. And that hasn’t changed- to this day I’m still not really sure if I actually like all the things I like or if I just accept that I do bc he does lol. Honestly it hasn’t been all bad, in fact it has some pretty great advantages. I’ve never been in a Terrible relationship in my life; the second Kevin doesn’t like someone they’re gone- it’s been pretty damn useful having a guy look out for all the shitty things that guys do and point them out so I can head that mess off at the pass lol.
I think I was probably 12 when I wrote my first fanfiction? It was this LONG ASS multi chapter behemoth that was written in I think four of those black and white notebooks? The marble ones? You know what I’m talking about? It was about the characters from the movie Gladiator lololol. It didn’t go on the internet (fandom online was in its INFANCY back then and I wasn’t a part of it until years later) and no one besides me read it. Like NO ONE. I’m honestly not sure if anyone besides me actually knew that I wrote this lol. I kept it hidden in different places all over my house, my back yard (zipped in those gallon freezer bags lol), and a few times my grandparents basement lol. Every week like clockwork I would move it’s hiding spot- I don’t know why I felt the need to do this but whatever lol. Unfortunately (maybe fortunately) the first time I smoked pot in high school I came home so fucking paranoid that I took it out of its spot in the shed in the back yard and burned it. Just set it on fire lol. I was convinced someone knew where it was and was going to read it so clearly the only thing to do was destroy it before my secret could get out. That was also the time I realized that pot makes me too paranoid to function and I should not be allowed near lighters when I was high lol. Thankfully for all you I have become much more lax about letting people read my writing since those early days.
When I first saw Pirates of the Caribbean I, of course like any decent human being, fell in love with Jack Sparrow. Who wouldn’t. But for some reason I could not put my finger on every time I thought of or looked at or had to talk about Elizabeth Swann and Kiera Knightly I got so MAD. Like unexplainably FURIOUS. I HATED her and I really didn’t have any good reason to. About a year later my brother introduced me to the original Lara Croft movie (the Angelina Jolie one) and I watched it constantly- I LOVED it. And then came the Kate Beckinsale Underworld movies which I couldn’t get enough of. It was okay to say that those two women were hot cause Kevin said so too right? And I just kind of branched out from there? I didn’t deliberately identify as bi, I just kind of started taking it for granted that I looked at women and thought they were gorgeous the same way that I did men. My mental block about Kiera Knightly finally lifted sometime in college and I can now finally admit that the first girl I ever had a crush on was Lizzie Swan in POTC lol. (Not that I will EVER tell my mother or the adult members of my very Catholic, very conservative Republican extended family that I have, in fact, kissed girls and liked it lol. There are some things that even I am not stupid enough to do lol.)
I fucking LOVE science fiction. The camp-iest, the cheese-iest the better. I love space travel/adventure sci-fi the best, I’m sorry I don’t care what ANYONE says, Flash Gordon is a cinematic masterpiece and I will fight anyone who says differently. I love Firefly and Star Trek and oh my god the Riddick movies are so fucking great. And when you can combine my love of sci fi with my pure and unadulterated THING for cowboys (I don’t know where that came from by the way I just. I have a cowboy kink that cannot be stopped. I need professional help lol) you have right there a double threat of Meghan is gonna love this. (I unironically STAN Cowboys and Aliens ok. And Pacific Rim.) I’ll read sci-fi, I’ll watch it, I’ll listen to it, you put it in front of me and I will consume it.

I was tagged by @hithelleth a week or so ago, and I was abroad for five days, but I can finally do this. Thank you for tagging me! :D
Rules: Answer 21 questions and then tag 21 people who you want to get to know better.
For now, I’m not tagging anyone in particular - any of my followers are very welcome to do this, so scratch before, I’m tagging all my followers if they want to answer these 21 questions. :)
Nickname: Too embarassing to disclose to the public. :) My sister and I have the weirdest nicknames for each other, and only we get them. They’re all an inside joke, so yes, that’s our thing hehe. I’ve been called Nena, although I’m not a fan of this one, and I have this co-worker who calls me ‘sweetie’ sometimes; she’s like this cool aunt to everybody, super sweet.
Zodiac: Virgo, and 80% of the characteristics listed for this sign hold true for me. Oh man lol.
Height: 170.5 cm, which is 5′6.
Last movie I saw: I think I re-watched Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallow II in its entirety a couple of weeks ago. I had a few very busy weeks (over now, thank God), so I didn’t have much time to watch movies, or TV shows.
Last thing googled: The weather forecast, just before I started answering these questions lol. I feel like such a grandma. :)
Favorite musician: Oh, I LOVE music, and I love a lot of musicians. I divide my faves into two groups: pre-2005 and post-2005 haha. So, a few of the ‘new’ ones: Florence + The Machine, Bat for Lashes, Lewis del Mar, Twenty-One Pilots, Vast, Hozier, Years & Years (totally pop-y, but I love ‘em) ... From my ‘oldies and forever awesome’ group comes music that’s mostly rock, alternative rock, Britpop, some metal and hip hop / rap. Bands like Queen, Oasis, The Verve, Gorillaz, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, U2, Nine Inch Nails, Nightwish, Within Temptation, The Prodigy, Nas ... And Enya, original movie scores and classical music fit neither group, but I freaking love them all! Also, I’m sure a forgot a good number of my fave musicians, but you can check my music tag for more.
Song stuck in my head: Freaking ‘Treat you Better’ by freaking Shawn Mendes, which is so not my scene, but two girls sang it at school today, and confirmed it was Shawn Mendes, and the song’s stuck in my head. I’ve caught myself humming it to myself a few times today haha.

Do I get asks: An occasional ask, though very rare, from an anon, but mostly messages. I do get messages, I’m just extremely bad at replying to them. It takes me ages, and I’m so sorry for it. I love you, guys, I really do, I’m just shit at replying normally.

Amount of sleep: I need my 8 hours of sleep, or I don’t function properly and make plans for an afternoon nap at 7 am. 7 hours will get me through the day, but I won’t be happy about it, and 6 hours ... don’t look at me after only 6 hours of sleep, just let me push through the day and go take a proper one-hour nap.
Lucky number: I don’t believe in lucky numbers, but for some reason, I like the look and idea of the number 5. Hmm.
What I’m Wearing: A baggy long-sleeved shirt, sweats, and a thin cardigan. Very casual.
Dream Job: I happen to have it - I’m a teacher. I feel super blessed to have this job. Getting a good job is mostly a matter of luck, even though I personally worked very hard to get mine, but in the end, it was still down to sheer luck. I have three dream jobs - writer, teacher, translator of fiction. And teacher I became. :)
Dream Trip: I don’t travel often, but I have visited some of my dream destinations, like London, Vienna, Salzburg and Venice. I’d like to go to Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Versailles in France, Bavaria in Germany ... Travelling is a stressful thing for me, though, so one step at a time. I’ll get to those places when the time is right, I don’t feel rushed.
Favorite Food: Italian, all the way, especially spaghetti bolognese, and a good tiramisu for dessert.
Play Any Instruments: A little bit of the piano, and a few chords on the guitar, so I’m not sure the guitar counts. I mean, I do know enough chords to cover basic songs very poorly lol. I can play basic piano, mostly because that’s kind of a necessity when you take singing lessons. I took two years of piano in primary school, then quit until I started taking singing lessons in college, and you have to be able to accompany yourself a little bit on the piano when you practice, so I also had to improve my piano-playing abilities a bit. I’m not skilled at it, far from it, but I can play some simple pieces (using both hands, not just one). Like, for example, a poorly executed version of Victor’s piano solo at the start of The Corpse Bride. It’s all I can play now (awkwardly, let me stress that again), it’s the only thing I’ve practiced in a long time lol. The beginning is kinda smooth, and then the fun starts haha.
Languages: Slovene, English, German. I need to brush up on my German some more, but I’ve been in contact with the language for the last five years and have improved. I’m going to start reading novels in German again because I want to get to the level of German I was capable of 15 years ago. I understand Italian and Spanish, but can only speak basic Italian and even less Spanish. I read both languages fluently and I learned Italian for four years, but not practicing makes your tongue - and brain - forget how to form phrases that you recognise when hearing them. Such a shame, really.
Random Fact: I sing in the car, but not in the shower, and I start my day with a piece of chocolate. :)

Why I like them – Zig is thefreaking man. He stands up for/to everything. He’s crazy loyal and loving… opento just about anything. I just love him.
Why I don’t – n/a lol
Favorite episode (scene if movie) –I love when he pops Sebastian honestly… I think that was TF Book3 Chapter 3? Hecould see something wasn’t right and did what he felt was like. I also lovewhen he loves on MC… he’s so sweet and thoughtful.
Favorite season/movie – Favorite bookwould be… hmm, TF Book 3 until he gets angry, but that doesn’t last. Then Iguess its TJ Book 1 – when they move in together.
Favorite line – He said something toManny when he mouthed off to MC… a few times really. And then there were somethings he said about his mom/sisters and then once about the goat..? lol he’sadorable… I just can’t. :D

hello! i was wondering if you have any tips for me since youre studying creative writing rn and im kinda in a writers slump. i wrote fics last year but then depression got to me and i stopped. i wanna find inspiration again but im lost and i dont know how to start writing again. im also scared that people will be mean when i post. also i read birthday sex a while ago and loved everything! its truly a masterpiece
hello, i sure do have some tips for this! everyone gets blocked sometimes, don’t worry yourself over it. Check below the cut for my protips (lol)
1. Don’t beat yourself up! Sometimes you’re not up to writing, and it can’t be helped. As I am fond of reminding whoever will listen, writing is kind of like self-torture in a lot of ways. It’s emotionally exhausting, because you’re essentially drawing on your (often painful) memories and experiences, and channeling them into a work of art. Sometimes your brain won’t cooperate, and it’s okay. You need to be in the right frame of mind. You haven’t lost any talent, you’re just tired. Try again when you’re in a better mood.
2. Write what you love. Quiet that little voice in your mind that is asking who will want to read whatever you’re writing. It doesn’t matter. If you write something you want to write, your passion and creativity will shine through it, and people will learn to like it. Have you ever clicked a fic thinking ‘:/ im not sure this is my thing’, but then it’s written so amazingly that you end up loving it? I’ve had that happen a bunch! I’m really picky with reading fics lol, so I often start one assuming im gonna hate it, but then fall in love.
3. Prompts! When you’re stuck for an idea, prompts are a lifesaver! I really recommend this reddit thread for when you don’t know what to write. Or, if you want a purely phan prompt go to @phanfic and look at their prompts tags! Not only do prompts give you a jumping off point, but they also guarantee you a reader! The prompter is going to want to read what you write, no question! They’ll likely be so happy that you chose to complete the prompt that they’ll love it regardless!
4. Fanfiction. This is a broad one, but what I want to say here is that fanfiction, to me, is the world’s best training ground. Think of it like the colosseum - you are a gladiator. You have these characters to play with, and an empty stadium to fill with whatever you want. Literally anything you can imagine. It’s daunting, sure, but the point is, go nuts! Try out that mermaid!phil au you’ve been thinking about on and off - see if it works! If it doesn’t, drain the colosseum of water, and put dnp in fucking tents on the side of everest. Try everything! Write write write, explore your talents, find what your strengths are!
5. Daydream! Fantasise your tits off, srsly. My secret is that I plan all my storylines as I’m falling asleep. I make it play out like a movie in my head, I imagine what they’ll say, how it will happen. Then, the next day, I’ll write it out. There’s nothing stopping you from making up this stuff in your head, so dream about it over and over, refine it in your mind until it’s how you want it, and then write it down!
6. Beta’s are everything. I’m gonna be lame and shout out my absolute fave @manschester for being the loml and the greatest beta a girl could ask for. Find a friend that likes your writing, isnt afraid to be honest with you, and will help u out with writing. My fave thing to do with Nova is open up a google doc of mine or her latest chapter, send her the link (or vice versa) and either she watches me write and comments/edits as i go, or i do the same for her. it’s honestly the most helpful thing ever to have someone else’s eyes on it. It also helps you to feel confident about posting! Beta beta beta.
7. Patience. You’re not gonna go from 0-100. I’m 23. I’m pretty happy with my writing atm, but I remember feeling that way at 16. And if I look at the stuff I wrote when I was 16 I crrrringe. You’ll improve with time and practice. You just will. UNLESS you don’t keep at it. The best thing about the phandom is how fucking awesome and supportive it is as a community. There’s no better place to share and improve your gift. People will always want to read about our faves dip and pop. Just let yourself have the small victories at first. Treasure each comment, each nice review. And keep going.

Witch Way Is Right? Part 8
AN: Ok, so this basically shows how the team is still a little bit split up after Civil War… Reader thought everything was fine but later finds out the horrible dark truth. I’m gonna change it up a little here. When I use Y/N, I won’t use parenthesis, so be on the lookout for that. Also, btw if you don’t know who Baron Mordo is, he’s this guy from Doctor Strange:
Summary: (Y/N) is a male witch and also comes from a family of witches. When (Y/N) is backed up in a corner by his brother, who chose the dark path, he is forced to choose his own fate, choosing the light path. This causes an Ecliptic War between Light and Dark Witches. During this war, an eclipse (both solar and lunar) is happening, and won’t end until one brother is left standing. With the help of the Avengers and other helpful heroes, will (Y/N) be able to defeat his brother, or will the world be forever secluded in darkness?

Alex’s POV:
“Éna máti gia éna máti!” (An eye for an eye!) I say, as I conjour up a spell to spy on Y/N. Baron taught me this a few months ago and I have to admit this isn’t the first time I’ve used it on him, but it IS the first time I’ve done it against him. Usually, I’d use the spell just to check up on him and my parents. See how they were doing, if they needed any help, or if there was someone messing with Y/N that I had to privately take care of.
Even after I chose the dark path, I still wanted to be apart of the family, but I knew my parents wouldn’t want me to after Dad’s huge fight with Baron. I chose the dark path because Baron told me all the things I’d be able to do with it compared to if I chose the light path like my parents wanted me to. But now that I have, I don’t regret a single thing. Well, maybe a couple things.
“Alex, did you see anything while using that spell I told you about?” Baron asked, walking into our study to check up on me.
“Yeah.” I answered, “I guess Tony Stark is gonna be throwing a party for Y/N somewhere in the UK. I think that gives us the perfect opportunity to try out that true feelings spell, seeing as how Stark and Rogers are still on bad terms. What I just saw through Y/N’s eyes basically confirms it.”
“You’re right. All of them in the same room together. Something is bound to erupt.” Baron says. Although we do have some powerful dark witches on our side for the war, we still want to make sure that Y/N’s side will be easy to dominate. “I want you to cast that spell whenever you think it’s the right time, but make sure its during the party. If we play our cards right, we can cause the team disband again and Y/N won’t have the help he needs to win the war!”
All think planning, and I remember that Stark told Y/N that he was gonna have a mystery teacher to help him with his powers. I walk to the couch and sit down with an exasperated sigh that doesn’t go unnoticed by Baron, who takes a seat next to me. “What is it, my apprentice? Is something troubling you?” he asks.
“It’s just what Stark told my brother the other time I spied on him. He told him something about a mystery sorcerer coming to teach Y/N about his new advanced powers.” Baron nods at me to continue. “You wouldn’t happen to know who this mystery sorcerer is, would you?”
“I have an idea of who it might be. But if it is who I think it is, then we have to be careful about our next move.” He explains as I nod in understanding. “Let’s go. We need to prepare our selves for the spell.”

I look at the clock and it reads 3:25 p.m. I look in the mirror to check myself out. Never thought I’d be wearing a tux again after Homecoming except for prom. I have to admit though, I look pretty neat. My ‘Welcome to the Team’ party starts at tomorrow at 12 p.m. there (which is 4 a.m. here), so that means we’ll have time to relax and Tony will have time to get everything set up. At least, thats what he told me.
My thoughts were interrupted by the knock on my room door. “Who is it?” I ask, but didn’t hear anything. I go back to grooming myself until I hear another knock on the door. Annoyed, I start walking to the door and ask whl it is again but still no answer. I open the door and see none other than my parents!
“Surprise, kiddo!” My dad says to me and I jolt to them in a bone crushing embrace. I know its only been a day, but with whats been going on, I really needed to see them right now. The sound of my mom sobbing while hugging me is powerful enough to even cause me to shed tears of my own. I really want to tell them the things Alex put me through while I was gone, but I think the last thing they need is to know that. For now I just want to spend time with them as much as I can.
After what felt like half an hour of hugging and crying with my parents, we finally let go and I let them in my room to talk. They catch me up on almost everything, like how everyone back home is doing, and how people are reacting to the solar and lunar eclipses, saying that they’re lucky to experience such an astronomical phenomenon. I thought people would be freaked about the eclipses but according to my parents, everyone is loving it and saying they’re glad they’re alive to see something so beautiful. That makes me feel a little better.
Two hours pass and I finally get a text from Tony telling us to head to the airport to fly to London. We enter the vehicle thats waiting for my parents and I in front of the Avengers HQ building. Tony told me that our driver was happy but when I saw him, he didn’t look all that happy to me. On our way to the airport, I get another text this time from Steve.

Steve: Hey Y/N! It’s Steve.
Y/N: Oh hey Steve. How’d you get my number?? lol
Steve: Friday told me. Anyways, are you guys almost to the airport?
Y/N: Yea actually we should be there in like… 30 mins?
Steve: Awesome! Also, when we’re at the party, can you do me a favor?
Y/N: Uhh sure… What is it tho?
Steve: Don’t drink a DROP of alcohol… I know you’re 18 and you really wanna celebrate, but you can do that without drinking and I really wouldn’t feel comfortable with an 18 year old drinking… Just promise me you won’t 😕
Y/N: Ok. I won’t 😉
Steve: Great! I really appreciate it! See ya soon! 😇
Y/N: Yea see ya! 😈

Welp, I’m gonna get fucking hammered at this party. I mean who does Steve think he is trying to tell me what not to do just because he’s not comfortable with it? It’s not like he’s boyfriend or my dad or anything. My parents pick up on my frustration a few minutes after. “Hey, sweetie. Is everything alright?” my mom asks.
I turn to her and give her a half smile as an idea pops in my head. “I just need to know something.” I say as my parents nod for me to continue speaking. “Since I’m at the legal age to drink in the UK, how much am I allowed to drink exactly?”
They both share glances towards each other, a smile writen on their faces before my dad turns back to me. “Your mother and I were talking about this when we heard from Mr. Stark about the party. We think its a great idea that he’s decided to have the party in the UK so you can properly celebrate your recruitment to the Avengers.” He explains.
“And as an Avenger, we expect you to make your own decisions not just for yourself, but for your team as well.” My mom adds. “So, we’re allowing you to drink as much as you want. Just don’t get too drunk.”
My eyes widened as I’m surprised by my parents decision. Not only are they allowing me to drink, but they’re trusting me to be responsible on how much I drink too. I’m so excited now for this party, that I don’t think the smile on my face could get any bigger.
As we finally arrive at the plane, which is called Stark Airlines of course, I see Nat and Clint sitting together, Bucky and Sam sitting together across from them, and Steve sitting alone behind Bucky and Sam. I wonder if he caught on to that d evil emoji I sent him. I try walking past him, but he grabs my wrist gently enough for me to stop and glance at him.
“Hey, when we were texting earlier, I think you sent me the wrong emoji.” He says.
“No, it was the smiling devil emoji, right?” I say and he nods his head. “Yeah, I meant to send that.”
“Ok, but what do you mean by that? I’m a little new to the whole emoji thing, but I know that usually means something else.” He tells me.
A smirk is plastered on my face as I tell him, “Don’t worry about it. Just know that I’m an adult, and I can be responsible for my own actions.” And with that, I walk three seats behind him next to where my parent are sitting. I look towards them and they give me a reassuring smile as I give one back to them. This is gonna be fun! Later on Wanda, Vision, and Scott get on the jet and we’re ready for take-off.

“Strange! Did you ever figure out whats causing these solar and lunar eclipses?” Wong asks, as he enters the study, finding Doctor Strange with his nose buried in a book like he’s been doing for the past couple of days. Strange knows that these eclipses aren’t “astronomical phenomenons” like the scientists want everyone to believe. He’s too smart to fall for something like that.
“Apparently, some idiot and his little brother started the Ecliptic War. Which explains the eclipses. An Ecliptic War can only be started when two witch born sibling choose two different paths, one light and the other dark.” Strange explains as he closes the book he was just reading and summons his cape to fly to him and wrap around his collar. “According to this book, if they don’t hurry up and have this war, then Earth could be at risk of going into complete darkness. That means no moon, no sun, nothing. Just darkness and chaos.”
Wong has a worried look on his face. He knows that they need to hurry up and do something before things get catastrophic. “How long do they have to start the war?” He asks in completely understanding of how serious this is.
Strange turns towards Wong, whose determined to make sure the Earth is back to normal. “Don’t worry. We have 3 months after the eclipse has started, which means we’re gonna have to start Y/N’s training a lot sooner than we thought. Get everything ready. We’re gonna have to pay Y/N a visit.”

Top 5 scents: The smell of my mums saag paneer cooking, the smell of a good apple crumble, that like fresh clean towel smell after you do your laundry (it reminds me of my grandparents house lol), Im such a slut for cumin that shit tastes and smells good af, couldn’t think of another so this is a pretty weird one but you know that distinct smell that takeaway bags/pizza boxes have lmao idk I guess by association I’ve grown to like that smell?
Unpopular breakfast opinion: I can’t really think of any but I see people eat breakfast and frankly its not enough. I have no idea how people can survive on a small bowl of cereal or some toast. I’ve got to have a large bowl of cereal, a butter toast, and a cheese on toast with some veggies on it to get me through to lunch (though tbf I usually have lunch a lot later than others)
Terrariums are tight af. There are places you can go to build your own which I think would be really cool to do with a friend/partner. Its bloody expensive though
Favourite shirt: I guess right now its this black shirt with different coloured lines of tabletop dice so it makes a sort of rainbow.
Mountains. This is easy because mountains are awesome and the beach is mediocre. The ocean sucks and as we all know, sand is rough, course, irritating, and it gets everywhere.
F Clara, M Rose, K Donna. If it was victorian clara then I’d probably switch them but companion clara was the least interesting clara we had gotten at that stage. I hate that I had to put Donna for kill, she’s been through enough but she’s got big best mate energy more than anything else.
I finally watched hamilton when the recording came out so I’ve been listening to the soundtrack a lot. Favourites are Satisfied, The Room Where It Happens, Wait For It, and all of King George’s songs
Right I see, you were talking about microwaving the cereal too, I was just talking about microwaving the milk and then adding the cereal afterwards. Warm milk is great for certain cereals! Hot milk with cocoa pops was a real warming treat as a kid.

As I know very little of that matter, I’ll go with “The Lion King” this movie taught me when I was young: It’s all of the people important in our lives that are gone and they’re watching over us. I know it’s not like that, but I’ve lost so many people in my life that it gives me comfort thinking that they’re watching over me :)

A few. Actually that’s kinda part of my job. We know since the first semester that people might think alike, but not the same. interpretations are tricky. And that means in everything not just books or movies/tv shows.

- Favorite arc: Aliea Academy, definitely.
- OTP: I don’t really have one, I respect everyone’s opinion and I don’t hate any ship^^
- BroTP: Uhh, I have a LOT^^’: Hiroto/Midorikawa,Touko/Rika,Haruna/Kogure, Tsunami/Tachimukai, Endou/Kazemaru, Kirino/Shindou,Kirno/Kariya… there are a lot more, but I don’t want to bore you.
- Any ships that everyone ships but you surprisingly don’t (please remember the little // in the ship names so it won’t show up in the tags): Kirino/Shindou. Clearly, Kirino is always looking for Shindou (I think they took this to the extreme, because most of the Kirino’s interactions were all about Shindou), but Shindou doesn’t really pay that attention to Kirino. I think that they are best friends and that’s it. Maybe if Level-5 would have explored their childhood or something like that… but that’s my opinion and I can see why people ship it.
- Favorite hissatsu: THE MIST. (Oh my god, I love Kirino too much, sorry xD)
- What about combination hissatsu: Saikyo Eleven Hado, the last one from the Chrono Storm arc.
- Favorite Keishin: Akatsuki no Miko Amaterasu, Kinako’s one!
- Favorite Mixi-max (I bet you were expecting this): Tsurugi’s one, I’ve always thought his mixi max was the best.
- Favorite Soul (you’re right I don’t have any excuses for this): I don’t really liked them but if I have to choose one, I choose Fox^^ (I think it was Konoha’s soul) . Shindou’s one has always made me laugh.

- Prettiest character: Kirino (even I, at first, thought he was a girl D:) and Fubuki.

- Who do you think Endou should really end up with: I really love that he ended up with Natsumi, I love her and I love them together.

- Anything you wanna praise the series for: Mainly for making so many people happy, including me.
- Anything you wanna complain about the series (don’t worry we all know it’s not real hate here) : I have some xD but they all are from IEGO:
-The main one: why they create characters and then forget about them? This is mostly in IEGO and even MORE in the Galaxy arc. Kariya and Hikaru were SO interesting, but they forgot about them.
-The entire Galaxy arc: except for the characters, which are awesome, the rest was horrible to me. But that’s my opinion^^’
-And this is more personal, I think: how the creators treated Kirino. He was always on the background or talking about Shindou and only Shindou. And when I thought that they were going to give him protagonism in Chrono Stones, lasted two chapters and they forgot of him until the end. And worse in Galaxy (the same goes in this part to Hakuryuu, Taiyou and Ryoma.)
And that’s all, and I think that they’re just personal complains. Thank you if you have read everything^^
