Sensacional! Essa palavra define o roteiro excelente de Alias desenvolvido por Brian Michael Bendis. Não é segredo que sou fã do cara e aqui neste encadernado da linha Marvel Max, ele apresenta Jessica Jones, uma ex-heroína que no passado chegou a usar seu uniforme colorido e se nomeava Safira, mas que atualmente trabalha como detetive particular em sua própria empresa: Codinome Investigações. O volume contém três histórias da personagem, usando seus dons para solucionar seus casos. Sexo, política, palavrões e muitas outras coisas estão presentes no quadrinho na medida certa. Bendis soube apresentar os personagens com aspectos mais frágeis e humanos. É muito legal ver Jessica Jones e Miss Marvel (Carol) conversando como duas amigas numa mesa de bar, a relação indefinida com Luke Cage ou acompanhar o trabalho investigativo de Jones. Enfim, a leitura é fluida, pois Bendis deixa uma personagem sem sal como Jessica Jones interessante, mesmo sem ter grandes vilões por trás das tramas e muito menos grandes pretensões. "Thor: Vikings" (Roteiro de Garth Ennis e arte de Glenn Fabry). Há muito tempo escuto sobre essa história e sempre tive curiosidade de ler, afinal, a mistura do deus nórdico e de guerreiros vikings só podia dar em coisa boa. Para mim, não necessariamente. . Mas tudo justificado: como Garth Ennis não é muito fã do gênero super heróis, ele prefere trazer à história heróis reais, pessoas normais de três eras diferentes que viajam no tempo para auxiliar o deus do trovão. Isso acaba tirando o foco tanto do personagem Thor quanto do vilão zumbi Viking. . Claro que não falta aqui a satisfação que o autor tem em fazer os super-heróis sofrerem: Thor toma uma surra do vilão e precisa recorrer aos três heróis "reais". Além disso, o vilão espalha morte e destruição por onde passa, nos mostrando que o foco do autor está mais na violência do que no roteiro. . O autor só mostra seu potencial com um personagem: Dr Estranho. Esse, sim, rouba a cena quando aparece, e dá a impressão de ser o único levado a sério nessa narrativa. . Outro ponto negativo é perceber que, embora esta já seja uma história curta, temos a impressão que o autor está enrolando por páginas e páginas... . Ainda assim, a parceria Ennis e Fabry funciona perfeitamente: não haveria ninguém melhor para ilustrar essa história, e o roteiro permite que o artista mostre todo seu talento. Por esse motivo, não é uma leitura ruim, apesar dos pesares. .
