• C is her cousin. Their clan had been serving the raikage since Kumo’s founding, which made her a politically viable jinchuriki candidate. The two don’t talk much, with her jinchuriki status isolating her from the clan.

• While B embraced Rap and Enka, she was quite fond of Kouta. She and B would often try to fuse their musical interests and it always resulted in a painful cacophony. Although she prefers Shamisen, her ability to stimulate her nail growth makes the Koto natural to her.

• Matatabi is extremely proficient with genjutsu for a tailed beast and would force Yugito into dazed states or outright abrupt sleep if she felt like Yugito was flippantly using her abilities or showing any other signs of disrespect.

• Ironically, despite this and despite her lineage being renowned for their genjutsu skills, Yugito was never able to pick up the basics for it. This was a great source of anxiety for her when she was younger, it felt as if she was a failure to her clan and a failed jinchuriki.

• Though she was trained for it, she ended up never being deployed in the Third Great Ninja War. She felt a mix of guilt and jealousy towards B for this.

• Although a Jonin, she refused to train Genin time and time again. It was often perceived as a lack of responsibility, but she wanted complete control of Matatabi’s power before taking on students. Due to the actions of the Akatsuki, this never came to fruition.
