a/n: Hiii finally got around to doing this short angsty breakup eek.

I’m the anon who requested multiple numbers on the list for Geo. I don’t expect you to put them all in one bc I figure that’d be difficult. Just little blurbs for each would be nice 💚

OVER THE LAST few months you’d been putting yourself through hell trying to do everything right in your relationship with George, though nothing seemed the please him. The Beatles were on a slow decline and to put things plainly, George just was not the man you fell in love with all those years ago. He’s just a shell of the person he used to be, always angry and wanting to be alone.

You understood that it wasn’t necessarily his fault, but every time you tried to be there for him it was as if he distanced himself further. He’s never at home, he’s going out every night with god knows who and returning in the early hours of the morning while you’re asleep. You recently discovered that he’s been sleeping with other girls as well, but you’re too afraid to confront him about that. You don’t really want this to be confirmed.

Tonight, you decided, you’d sit up and wait for George to return from his night out and confront him. You sit in the lounge with a cup of tea, buried in a book for hours on end, checking the clock every ten minute. Your eyelids were dropping and your body was becoming limp as you tired, although you shifted your body around to try and keep yourself aware and awake.

Finally after 3am the front door creaks open. George tip toes through the house and you’re surprised at the fact that he’s trying to be quiet. Maybe little pieces of the old George are still in there, at least he’s a little bit conscious of the fact that making too much noise might wake you up.

“George,” you state, scaring him as he notices you sat awake, not in your usual passive position in bed asleep.

“Y/N, what are you doing up?” George says, sounding slightly annoyed with the knowledge he’s probably about to get a mouthful from you.

“Oh I don’t know, waiting for you to come home so I don’t have to spend yet another night alone,” you say calmly, but you feel your blood getting hotter and your eyebrows furrowing.

“Can this wait until tomorrow, I’m bloody tired,” George sighs, taking off his coat and walking through to the kitchen.

You throw your book down, having enough.

“No! No this cannot wait until tomorrow. I’ve had enough George, I don’t even know who you are anymore!”

“Where’s all this coming from?” He sounds confused.

“It’s coming from the countless nights I’ve spent alone George. You’re meant to be my boyfriend and I feel like I barely know you. Can you just tell me now what is so wrong with me? Am I not enough for you?”

“Stop this. You know I love you,” George attempts to make things right, but it’s too late for you. You’re at your breaking point.

“I can’t trust you anymore George. You’re out every night with god knows who doing god knows what with no regards for how I might feel all alone at home. How am I to know you love me?” You’re voice cracks and you can feel tears pricking your eyes.

You’re scared for how this is going to end, knowing you might be saying goodbye to George forever after tonight. With this thought you start crying and can’t stop.

“Y/N, darling, don’t cry. I’m sorry I’ll change,” George starts and comes closer, trying to pull you into a hug to comfort you, but it feels like you’re being pulled into the arms of a stranger.

Your hands meet George’s chest and you push him off of you.

“Don’t touch me, I can’t even look at you,” the words hurt to say, but it’s the truth at this point.

You can sense George becoming tense at this point, his body language as changed from one of openness and concern to one of pure anger. You dare to look into his eyes and you can see the storm brewing in his the depths of brown, annoyance flashing like lightning bolts straight back at you.

“You know Y/N, your problem isn’t me, your problem is the fact that you always have to be the centre of attention and I won’t give you that for five minutes. Now you’re going and throwing a tantrum like child because you’re not being treated like bloody Queen Elizabeth!” He begins to raise his voice now and you step forward, challenging him.

“I wish I never laid eyes on you. My life would be so much simpler if I never met you,” you can see the pain you’re inflicting on George with your words and for a second you feel a pang of guilt in your chest, which is quickly overruled by fiery anger.

“Stop it. You’re going to regret this in the morning, you’re tired and so you’re angry. Go to sleep,” George says sharply, though bringing his voice down from it’s raised level it was previously at to one quieter. It’s not necessarily softer, but it’s worn out, not ready to continue fighting.

You take in his words and nod, although you’ve come so far and feel you might as well lay everything out on the table. Nothing he says is going to change what you already know.

“I know you’re sleeping with Mo. I heard you on the telephone when you were speaking to Ringo,” you reveal, you’re heart breaking when you see the fear overcome George, like he never expected you to find out.

“Y/N, it wasn’t like that. I love you-,” you cut him off.

“No George, if you loved me you wouldn’t be spending your nights with another woman.”

He sighs, looking deep into your eyes, the storm which you saw previously fading to grey skies. There is nothing left to say, no storm left to weather.

“Is there anyway we can work this out?” He pleads and you swallow sharply before shaking your head.

“No. I never thought I’d say these words, but I don’t love you anymore George. I can’t be with you after this. I’m sorry,” your eyes tear away from George’s to find the floor and you follow the wooden floorboards with your eyes back to your bedroom.

This house no longer feels like a home, it hasn’t in a while. Tonight just solidified the fact that you and George just aren’t who you used to be. They do say nothing good lasts forever, and sadly you’ve learnt the hard way by losing the one thing you thought you could always hold on to.

a/n: So I’m really glad these two were sent right by eachother just bc I personally love how these two turned out. Adulting can be a pain in the ass, and God knows it’s gonna take me decades to master that--but here’s to the wish that these words would comfort the two of you at least. :)

#9 Sugawara Koushi | For Nina | Taxi, 8/9AM

Life is, well, strange after you graduate.

Even though you’ve looked forward to this day more times than you could count since you were a child—the part where you actually get there ends much, much quicker than it happened. The buildup that took years to cultivate ends in a ceremony where you flip the tassel, throw your cap, hold a diploma with your name on it and take a few pictures feels all too dull. Anti-climactic, even.

Then you’re thrust into the real world. The real world where the access to life is bought with money and where money is bought with, well, time. Being an adult is as dull as every adult from your childhood had told you, while the warnings to enjoy your “childhood,” really had rung true.

So that was why the second the stranger you’re sharing a taxi with breaks the silence with, “Applying for work?” all you could manage to do was nod stiffly.

He chuckled, and shifted his legs a way that brushed against his bag. Looking at him, you decided to indulge yourself in the conversation he opened up. Distraction was definitely needed.

“You applying too?”

“Yeah,” he replies and laughs in a way that has you perplexed. How is he so calm?

“I’m guessing you’re nervous,” the stranger tells you, and your nod is automatic. “Of course I am. The real world is too—“

“Exciting?” he finishes and this time, you find yourself laughing.

“I think, terrifying would be a better way to put it,” you say.

“It doesn’t have to be,” he tells you and you nod for him to continue. Outside, buildings blur faster and faster as the car gains more momentum. You suddenly wish you’re back home again; looking at trees and grass and that one neighbor who peddles by your window every 5pm.

“That’s a first I’m hearing that,” you comment. He doesn’t laugh after that and the tension settles in your shoulders again—heavier.

Then he laughs, saying, “I mean it. I feel like when you first come out to the real world, you’re still treating everything like a final exam.”

You cock your head to the side and look at him. He smiles at you, then continues, “Like, applying to jobs, apartments, or loans isn’t a final exam. If you don’t get it you can just go somewhere else.”

“A lot easier said than done,” you sigh and he laughs again, this time, turning his head to look at you.

“It is. But didn’t we used to tell ourselves that too when we were students? Hype ourselves up and then still panic even while we’re writing on the exam paper?”

“Point is,” he says, laughing when you look at him confused, “the real world doesn’t give you a failing grade. You do things, you fuck up, you move somewhere else, same thing could happen but something else could too. You’ll be scared but that’s just a part of things. If you feel stuck or not, at the end of the day as long as you keep waking up—that’s still progress.”

“Why are you telling me all this?” you ask, and he shrugs.

“Everybody needs a little help sometimes,” he answers, then opens his mouth again, saying, “Koushi, by the way.”

“Nina,” you answer and give him a smile.

The mole right under his eye suits him, you think. It pushes up his face along with the crinkle his eye when he shoots you another smile. For a second you think you see an angel, but when you blink again, you only see the same man sneeze into the crook of his elbow.

“Sorry,” he laughs out and you wave your hand right when the car rolls to a stop. You smile; he’s not so perfect after all—but that just reminds you he’s more human than angel, so that thought is enough to bring you back down to earth.

“Don’t worry about it,” you say, then offer him your pack of tissues when he sniffles. He waves it off, but you push it into an open pocket of his bag as he opens the car door.

“Everybody needs a little help, right?” you laugh.

“You’re gonna kill it, Nina,” he tells you with a smile as he shuts the door. The car rolls again and even though you know your destination is right around the corner and knots are in your stomach—Sugawara’s smile and words just so happens to make you a little lighter.

#10 Kuroo Tetsurou | For fancifulthing | some random park lmao, 3AM

The feeling you get in the hours between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM feels almost dreamlike.

There’s something about the world feeling so still; almost as if you’re caught in a limbo. Maybe a purgatory of some sorts, you used to think. Like a purgatory where there’s no one else but you, your thoughts, some grass, and the occasional car passing by.

It’s deafening. In the sense where the words from your thoughts are anything but quiet. And they’re loud; because they make their presence to you known.

Some days, they’re okay; a little trivial even. But more times than you’d like, their tone reminds you of accusations.

“What are you gonna do?” it asks, and you sigh and shake your head because you still don’t know.

“Are you even happy?” it continues, and you want to answer yes but at the same time you can’t lie to yourself just yet.

You like to think you’re happy; in a way, at least. There’s many things you consider yourself thankful for at the end of the day. A home, sustenance, access to education, parents, and the fact that you can even afford to spend time and contemplate the different possible scenarios of your life. At a young age, you realize not everybody has the luxury to daydream and actually believe in those scenarios at the same time.

Then again, there always will be that one percent that defies the odds and soars the highest, but for others, reality is the constant anchor that pulls them back down under the waves that intends to keep them there.

For the sake of happiness, you wish they aren’t kept there.

You wish you wouldn’t be kept there.

You see him, he’s approaching the bench opposite of yours with a 7/11 plastic bag in one hand. Maroon hoodie over some black sweats, messy hair and tired eyes. He reminds you a little like a tired writer, you muse to yourself.

You think it’s sometime around 3 in the morning when he finally takes a seat with a sigh, looks at you, and raises a hand in greeting, “Hi.”

“Hi,” you respond and raise your hand as a reply.

“I would ask you why you’re sitting in a bench at the park at three in the morning, but I’m doing that too so I guess you’re either locked out or your thoughts are too loud,” he says and crosses his legs to get comfortable. Your eyes flicker to the scar on his ankle but you don’t comment on it.

“Thoughts too loud,” you answer and watch as he nods his head like he’s already dissected and understood your story.

“Soda?” he offers and throws it to you when you nod.

“You’re prepared,” you comment and he laughs. It sounds pretty, you think.

When he asks you, “who do you wanna be?” you don’t have a specific answer other than the pull from within you that’s telling you that you want to be some else. The truth is, who you are at the moment is all you. There’s really no dramatic spill to it.

“You can really just answer that who you are at the moment is just you,” he says and looks at you with eyes like he’s reading your most intimate secrets.

“I hear people say that they’re doing something and wanna break out of it because it’s ‘not them’,” he pauses to take a quick swig from his can then continues, “—but the things is, that’s them.”

He looks at you like he’s expecting a response but you stare at him to go on, so he does.

“I mean, accepting to do something that doesn’t feel like you is part of your identity you know? We’re just constantly telling ourselves that this isn’t us, or, I’m not like this, and blame it on some other thing but that part we say we don’t like is just part of who we are. We’re the ones in control of what we filter in and do at the moment—so that’s really it. There’s no use in always chasing an idea of who we’re going to be and being sad in the days we aren’t there yet. That takes away the present.”

“But what if I’m not happy?” you ask him and you find yourself comforted by how his eyes soften with your question.

“Then today you aren’t happy and that’s you for today. Tomorrow, you change that,” he says and throws you a tissue when he sees you teary eyed.

“Sorry,” you laugh and he pats you on your shoulder as he reassures you that it’s okay.

“Just don’t live today being sad about why you aren’t in the tomorrow you want yet. Live things day by day because there are factors that change in between sunsets and sunrises.”

You smile and he smiles back. The world still feels still but you know the thoughts in your head are mellowing out when all you could hear now is the clink of your can against his as he chuckles.

The world between the hours of 2 and 4 am make the world feel still. And it’s nearing 6am when the sun’s beginning to rise when you part ways. You’re in your car when you finally notice the number he’s scribbled on the edge of the paper he gave to you as tissue earlier, his name, Kuroo Tetsurou scrawled in loops.

And just like that the world is stirring awake again.

You decide to be happy today.

Not at me forgetting to answer this ;-; okie here we go! Buckle up because this one’s pretty long hehe

1. where was your first date?

A cafe or just somewhere we can go talk 😌 I love cafe dates so we probably went to a bubble tea store or Starbucks hehe

2. who normally plans the dates?

It’s mutual haha depending on the situation, I might plan one date and Akaashi might plan the other! I try to make things as mutual as possible if I’m in a relationship (not that I’ve ever been in one LMAO)

3. what type of dates would you two mostly go on? do you guys have a “date spot”?

Not so much ‘date spot’ than ‘go-to date’. Busy people lead busy lives so any time where it’s just the two of us spending time together can be considered a date (to me, at least hehe). We typically go on small, quiet dates like cafes or picnics. There is the rare occasion when we go to loud festivals or carnivals though!

4. what kind of date do you think both of you would enjoy together the most? why?

Honestly, I’m fine with anything as long as there isn’t any strenuous exercise LMAO >.<

5. how do you think your friends would feel about them being your bf/gf/partner?

I asked my friends to answer this LMAO

I’m 98% sure that they’re very happy about Akaashi being my boyfie bahaha

UHHHH I think they like me??? I sure hope Bokuto-san likes me at least just a little bit hehe

KEIJI WOULD HELP ME 100%. Mathematics isn’t my strong point and Akaashi is a good student so I don’t doubt for a second that he would be above average at maths \(￣︶￣*\))

Oh! I answered this question here but I basically said:

“Hehe, I’m feeling same homeroom vibes? Either that or Shirofuku asked for me to become a manager bahaha >.< I also like the idea of taking the same train or going to the same cafe after school! So basically, anything to do with school XD”

9. what do you think your first impression of them would be?

UHM: Mah boy who gave you the right to be this perfect ASJKDJA *insert me fangirling to my friends*

“What a dumbass lmao.” NO IF IT WAS I’D CRY T^T it would probably be: “ah, she’s quite active in class.”

Probably Keiji. He’s very good with speaking and his words, so he’d be great at showering me with kind words. Of course, I love to express my care to others with words as well, but probably not as much as him hehe

UHHHHHHHHHHH maybe working for a long period of time and not taking breaks? Schoolwork is hard to get through, not to mention that he does volleyball as well. Both being extrememly strenuous and tiring, I’d worry for his health and well being :’)

Post timeskip, being an editor is a pretty demanding job and again, pulling all nighters isn’t healthy so maybe just not paying attention to their own health is something that I’d be upset about.

42. how often would you guys probably fight? what would they normally be about? would they be big or small?

I’m a mediator, so I try to find a compromise in situations and Keiji’s pretty logical in his thinking! I don’t think we’d have huge shouting matches, but more like discussions about how to move forward. Big arguments would probably just be us snapping or losing our temper because we held all our emotions in for too long

43. who would probably get sick more often? who would baby the other when sick? who acts like they’re dying when they get a stuffy nose?

OoFt I think we get sick the same amount? Honestly, I don’t get sick that often, but when I do it’s REALLY BAD. Like... really concerning XD Eh, we’d take care of each other I think lmao

44. who has the worst patience? does the other balance this out?

I have... okay patience and Keiji has the patience of a SAINT. LIKE HE’S SO PATIENT??? WHAT??? I have average patience I think

I feel like we both took the time to get to know each other and then we started dating hehe. I like getting to know people first before jumping into anything, and I think Akaashi would agree! Not gonna lie, we’d probably only tie the knot like... 3-5 years into dating sooooooooooooooooooooo (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

50. who said the first “ i love you”? was it immediately reciprocated, or did the other person wait?

I’m chicken, but I feel like it would have slipped out by accident 😳😳 i feel like he would have been like “😀 what” before processing and then saying it back haha

1. What is the color of your hairbrush? Black

2. A food you never eat? Just from a "I don't like it" point of view, almost every type of mushrooms and legumes, but there are a lot of things I can't eat bc my body is weak like that

3. Are you typically too warm or too cold? Well, during winter I'm too warm on public trasportation and too cold outside, during summer I'm almost chilly on public transportation and way too hot outside

4. What were you doing 45 minutes ago? I was having lunch

5. What is your favorite candy bar? I'm really blanking on this bc I don't really eat a lot of sweet stuff, but I'd agree that Kinder Bueno was really really good

6. Have you ever been to a professional sports event? No, I have not

7. What is the last thing you said out loud? LMAO it was "Ci sono i fantasmi qui, huh?" ("It seems like we have ghosts in here") and it was a sarcastic remark bc one of my flatmates quickly sneaked in and out of the kitchen very quietly while I was doing the dishes without even say hello. I mean, that seems rude to me but maybe I'm wrong

8. What is your favorite ice cream? I'm a simple gal, I like chocolate, but I also like to pair it with mango, berries or passion fruit. Once I tried salted caramel and it was good.

11. What was the last thing you ate? Now I regret doing this right now bc I have to publicly admit that the last thing I ate was.. a formaggino MIO. In my defense, I was still hungry after lunch and I had nothing else! (For those of you who do not know what a formaggino MIO is, it's a type of processed cream cheese very popular here as baby food. I'm pretty sure 98% of italian babies are actually raised on bread&formaggino and pasta&formaggino)

12. Did you buy any new clothes last weekend? I did not. Everything is closed, I have not left my home in forever and I'm not one for online shopping tbh

13. The last sporting event you watched? I think it was some sort of volleyball tournament last December, I'm not sure tho

26. Wat chore do you hate? Cleaning the shower in particular but in general the fact that I have to climb over random things to clean half the house bc I'm too short to reach anything

38. At what time do you normally go to bed? I try to be in bed by 11:30 pm and asleep by midnight but I'm not afraid to fall asleep while reading or watching a tv show at 10pm lol or even stay up until 3am

39. At what time do you normally get up? I trained myself to stay in bed until at least 8am now that I don't have anything to attend to in the mornings

40. What do you prefer, sunrise or sunsets? Sunsets

41. How many blankets are on your bed? Well, just one where I live now, but back at home in the mountains last winter I had two wool blankets and two duvets (and a fleece blanket ready on the side just in case)

42. Describe your kitchen plates. Boring white. My sister bought them and I'm very disappointed; luckily I have a small plate for dessert in this great shade of dark anthracite grey a friend of mine gifted me a while ago

43. Do you have a favorite alcoholic beverage? I like red wine but if we're talking strong ones, I like tequila

44. Do you play cards? It's a holiday tradition with my family. Things can get scary, believe me

felix singlehandedly got me to stan stray kids, i first glanced changbin in hellevator then highkey forgot abt them as the show aired. then my friend sent me this clip of felix’s verse in grr from the live stage bc at this point the album hadnt even dropped yet. i was shook to the next dimension from his deep ass voice and his growling and i wanted to hear more so i watched the show and only fell in love with him more.

Thank you, Kate! I’ve been going through these slowly for a while now. Here are the first 50 questions to the ask post found here: x

1: when you have cereal, do you have more milk than cereal or more cereal than milk?

I pour more milk than is needed and feel wasteful when there’s milk leftover in the bowl. Sometimes I drink the milk and feel better. Usually I don’t even eat cereal though? I’m a wakey wakey eggs and bakey gal.

2: do you like the feeling of cold air on your cheeks on a wintery day?

Love that crisp cold winter air! Sure would like to feel it sometime soon! Right now at school, it’s almost like I can feel the weather slowly shifting to cold winter air weather.

3: what random objects do you use to bookmark your books?

I often just use scraps of paper that are handy. I’ll use a pen or pencil if I’m switching between reading and writing. And I’ve used my phone a couple of times.

4: how do you take your coffee/tea?

I like really sweet and flavored drinks when going out for either. For coffee from scratch, I like to add a lot of creamer, preferably flavored.

5: are you self-conscious of your smile?

I used to be more so before. Now, not so much, but it has become a habit for me to smile with a closed mouth for pictures.

6: do you keep plants?

I try to, but it never seems to end well. 2 of my 4 succulents I had in my dorm room were stolen recently when I left them out. The other two I’ve been ignoring. I’m much better at taking care of my virtual plants on the app Viridi.

7: do you name your plants?

I’ve named a couple of my real plants, but I don’t really care to for the most part. Most of my plants in Viridi have a stupid meme name.

8: what artistic medium do you use to express your feelings?

Music and writing. I haven’t been journaling as often as I used to, but I still consider it a big way I like to process my emotions: by writing down as much as I can.

9: do you like singing/humming to yourself?

Yeah. I get self-conscious though, sometimes even when no one is around to hear.

10: do you sleep on your back, side, or stomach?

I like to sleep on my stomach, and can pretty much only fall asleep that way. But I sometimes switch to my side during the night.

11: what’s an inner joke you have with your friends?

I don’t know if I can think of anything specifically that actually really applies so I’m just gonna pick some stuff…. High school friends will probably laugh if I mention how we all agree I have pretty good aim with my vomit….and college friends, well they call me the Cheese-It Harpy. Friends, let me know if you’re reading this and you think of something else.

12: what’s your favorite planet?

I don’t have a favorite planet. I’m very appreciative of space and I know basic astrology with the planets, but somehow I just don’t have a fave.

13: what’s something that made you smile today?

I did my friend’s hair up pretty and she liked it and another friend liked it.

14: if you were to live with your best friend in an old flat in a big city, what would it look like?

It’s gonna have vines on the walls outside and there’s a courtyard maybe and the apartment will have yellow painted walls and the window will look out over the street and we’ll put up lots of string lights and small plants. I really want to make those tiny tiny gardens with the little benches in them and stuff. And the kitchen sink will usually have dishes in it bc I’m/we’re not people who wash our dishes right away. There will be original and purchased art on the walls.

15: go google a weird space fact and tell us what it is!

16: what’s your favorite pasta dish?

UM I love all pasta but I will pick lasagna as my favorite almost all the time. I really love a baked ziti covered in mozzarella tho

17: what color do you really want to dye your hair?

So I don’t really want to dye my hair, but if I did, legit I would want it to be opalescent (silvery-white with pastel colors). Opals are my birthstone, and you bet that my hair would look like that if I was a Crystal Gem. But I don’t really think I’d be able to pull that off irl.

18: tell us about something dumb/funny you did that has since gone down in history between you and your friends and is always brought up.

So yeah, so my CV squad is always gonna remember me throwing up into the cup holder of the RENTAL car. My college friends…there’s probably so many but I’m blanking and can only think of when I spilled the cappuccino….or when I was tired and they put plastic lizards on my head and I got emotional bc I felt loved LOL. Idk help me out here guys Idk why I’m forgetting. I need to write down more of the things I do.

19: do you keep a journal? what do you write/draw/ in it?

I keep a writing journal at all times, and it’s basically a regular journal/diary where I write what happened, how I’m feeling.I also have a gratitude journal. I try to write in there as often as I can about things I am grateful for on that particular day, like compliments I may have received, or nice things that happened.

20: what’s your favorite eye color?

Brown. Almost everyone I’ve ever crushed on has had brown eyes. Brown eyes are beautiful!

21: talk about your favorite bag, the one that’s been to hell and back with you and that you love to pieces.

Favorite bag??? I don’t use bags, lol. I got my backpack. I’m not terribly attached to it.

22: are you a morning person?

Nope! My sleep schedule may be really messed up, but either way, I love being up and doing things at night. I really like to take my time waking up in the morning; I’m pretty slow about it.

23: what’s your favorite thing to do on lazy days where you have 0 obligations?

The thing I usually end up doing is bumming around the computer, tumblr and all. My favorite thing, though, would probably be to watch a really good movie or two, or to gather a pile of books and read through them all, like I used to do when I was little. I also really like to sleeeeeeep

24: is there someone out there you would trust with every single one of your secrets?

Not really. There are some things that I just don’t talk about with anyone.

25: what’s the weirdest place you’ve ever broken into?

I’ve broken into very few places. One of them is the toilet paper dispenser in the slightly scary bathroom downstairs in the campus center.

26: what are the shoes you’ve had for forever and wear with every single outfit?

This is basically all my shoes, as I kinda just find one pair of shoes I really like, and wear them every day until they get destroyed. I really liked my San Antonio Shoes that I wore to band. Several people complimented me on them. They seemed to fit really great. They were some good shoes. If I ever have the money, I might buy another pair sometime. The pair I had were bought ridiculously under-priced at a thrift store.

27: what’s your favorite bubblegum flavor?

I really like fruity gum. Fruit Stripe is my favorite chewing gum, but my favorite legit bubble-blowing bubblegum is the cotton candy bubblicious. It’s blue and super sugary and I have distinct memories of times when I chewed it, or wanted to be chewing it but was chewing something else, lol

28: sunrise or sunset?

Sunset is my favorite time. Since I do a lot at night, it’s not really a sad symbol of my day ending, but the night beginning. Whereas if I am seeing the sunrise, that probably means I’ve stayed up all night, which probably was questionably smart to do….

29: what’s something really cute that one of your friends does and is totally endearing?

I have a friend who kisses my hand to show affection, and I think it’s really cute and nice.

30: think of it: have you ever been truly scared?

I’ve never had any bone-chilling moments — no ghosts, home intruders, etc. But I have been genuinely scared of whether or not me and my family would be okay.

31: what is your opinion of socks? do you like wearing weird socks? do you sleep with socks? do you confine yourself to white sock hell? really, just talk about socks.

I don’t really like the look of fuzzy socks, but I like how it feels to go to sleep in them. I prefer not to wear socks to bed, but my feet get cold often and I can’t fall asleep if my feet are cold. I’ve got a growing collection of socks with foxes on them, but I kinda prefer to wear plain socks. I feel like it’s immature to wear colorful socks.

32: tell us a story of something that happened to you after 3AM when you were with friends.

I can’t recall anything exciting happening. We’ve gone out for food. Had a microwave macaroni party…

33: what’s your fave pastry?

Ooh. I can’t think of anything specific. I like stuff with cherries, or maybe like a cheese danish. I’m not picky!

34: tell us about the stuffed animal you kept as a kid. what is it called? what does it look like? do you still keep it?

When I was really little I had Silly Bear. He was purple or something, and wore a jester’s hat, I think. I used him to make my brother laugh for the first time. Then I had Maple the bunny. She was the most beautiful bunny, until we put her in the wash and then the dryer. Now, I have my fox. It doesn’t have a name, it’s just my fox. I’m sorry to say that my fox went in the dryer, too. My mom told me it would be okay, and it wasn’t. It’s fur is all messed up, but it’s still cute and I love it. Makes me wish I had kept Maple the bunny. And yeah, I sleep with my fox most nights.

35: do you like stationery and pretty pens and so on? do you use them often?

Ughhhh yeah my favorite is designer notebooks that are all pretty. Blank paper is enticing to me. I used to really like pencils that were colorful or had designs on them, too, but I’ve actually made the switch to pens now. I never thought I would switch to pens because I make so many mistakes, or I used to. I prefer my pens to be comfy and write nicely, rather than to look good. Pencils that write nice and dark are very important to me. But yeah I love stationery, and I always have to visit the stationery aisle whenever I go to the drugstore.

36: which band’s sound would fit your mood right now?

So lately, I think my mood has been sort of like Norah Jones or Corinne Bailey Rae. Kinda soft and sad, but nice. At least, that’s how I want my mood to be. Less the sad part though, just kinda soft and nice. Tryin not to stress out over finals.

37: do you like keeping your room messy or clean?

Definitely messy, but an organized messy. I want to know where everything is, and I want to be able to function and move around in the room, but I love having little figurines and papers all over my desk and stuff.

38: tell us about your pet peeves!

Well, as an English major, I have many grammar pet peeves. I hate it when people put recyclables in the trash. I dunno what else…

39: what color do you wear the most?

I wear a lot of blue because it looks good on me. Matches my eyes. I am gaining an increasing number of maroon-/burgundy-colored clothes. I don’t like to wear gray clothes.

40: think of a piece of jewelry you own: what’s it’s story? does it have any meaning to you?

I don’t wear jewelry. Let me tell you about my Two Cats On a Couch instead. They’re made of painted wood; two cats, one striped, and one in some kind of clothing. They are on a red couch with white dots and yellow flowers. The cat in the clothes is me, and the other cat is someone to talk to. My mom found the cats at a thrift store and said she got them for me because she wanted me to always have someone to talk to. They were the last gift I ever received from her, as she gave them to me shortly before she passed away.

41: what’s the last book you remember really, really loving?

One of the last books I remember liking a lot is The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. I read it about four years ago, and it was meant for a younger age group than mine even back then, but I remember it really resonating with me. It also totally hyped me up for a good test experience when I was about to take the SAT, because I read about the kids taking the test in the book right before I went to take the SAT, and it made me excited to rock a test.

42: do you have a favorite coffee shop? describe it!

I wish I had a favorite shop, but I don’t get out much and I usually take things to go places. There are several coffee shops in the area, but the independent ones are kinda new and kinda less comfy, and more minimalist, at least from what I’ve noticed. I can tell you about Norm’s, though, because I could definitely say that it’s a favorite spot of mine. My larp club at college, AOKP, goes to Norm’s every other Thursday or so. We have this big table in the corner that we usually sit at. I steal crayons from the basket on the front counter. My friend once left a big pile of sand in the bathroom because she didn’t clean herself off before we left the beach. I’d say that Norm’s has become a special place for me.

43: who was the last person you gazed at the stars with?

Alice, this one is you! The last time I really watched the stars, alone or not, was when we went to the beach to watch the sunrise. That was a good time.

44: when was the last time you remember feeling completely serene and at peace with everything?

Thanksgiving break was emotionally rough for me, but there was one afternoon when everything seemed really pretty, and the sun was real good, and all the plants were good, almost like they were giving off a vibe, and I just sat outside for maybe an hour and wrote in my journal, and started to feel really calm and good. I don’t even remember what I was thinking about, I’d have to check in my journal. That time just felt really good, from what I remember.

45: do you trust your instincts a lot?

I would say that I do try to intuit a lot of things, but I maybe have a hard time trusting myself or what I’m feeling. I’m trying to learn to recognize when I’m ignoring a feeling that is telling me to do or not to do something.

46: tell us the worst pun you can think of.

I like this joke, cuz English: A rule of grammar: double negatives are a no-no

47: what food do you think should be banned from the universe?

I don’t think people should be eating balut (duck embryos), and I’m pretty sure the smell alone of coconut shrimp has the power to make me throw up in an instant.

48: what was your biggest fear as a kid? is it the same today?

I think it is the same. I just kinda always am afraid of, instead of a comfy life, being alone and not having money or food and not being okay. Especially the alone part.

49: do you like buying CDs and records? what was the last one you bought?

I really don’t buy or even use CDs anymore, since I was little. We didn’t have internet in the house when I was a kid, so all the music we listened to, we played on a boombox. It could do CDs and tapes. My mom had a small collection, and we rented a bunch of stuff from the public library. The sound on the boombox got messed up eventually, and by that time I had access to the internet, so now it’s streaming and Youtube.

50: what’s an odd thing you collect?

I have a collection from, like, late elementary and middle school, of pencils that I used until they got really heckin small. I’m talking, you can barely write with the dang thing. One of these pencils is a colored pencil that is one of the best shades of my favorite color (neon orange) that I’ve ever seen.

1. Which Sims game was the very first you played?

ts1! my dad originally bought ts1 but he was never into it but man i was hooked! i had to ask for permission to play on the family computer, so i didn’t play too often, but would usually game until like 3am. he also bought ts2 when it first came out and thought it was stupid, but i was in love with it! unfortunately our computer could not handle it.

2. What other games you play besides the Sims?

a random assortment! right now it’s bloodborne, dying light, skyrim, until dawn, and watch dogs. and gta. also trying to get into stardew valley and back into pokemon.

3. Who is your favorite premade Sim?

i mean honestly, dirk dreamer and lilith pleasant are like, goals. but i also am really loving cassandra goth in ts4??

4. Custom objects or custom CAS stuff?

both! tbh i love both and i can’t live without both, esp all my pastel crap in ts2

5. One thing that you miss from the game, and hope it’ll be modded into it sooner or later?

i’m assuming for ts4? i would love to see more supernaturals and university for it!

gameplay wise for ts2, i would love to see some aspects of ts4 with it, like the grounding of sims and more aspects from the parenthood pack. and the toddlers are damn cute and tbh i am really loving the ~emotions~

6. Have you ever killed a sim on purpose?

i once wanted a house with all these gravestones so i kept making families of 8 and moved them onto a lot, then let them burn in ts1. my mom was really worried about me.

7. A cc making skill you would like to learn?

always! i want to always become better at cc making and to do ts4 to ts2 conversions better. also, i would love to learn how to create some things for ts4. i miss all the color and pastel.

8. Do you like playing businesses?

no, i quite suck at them. i don’t think i have ever had a semi-successful business in ts2. haven’t even attempted in ts4.

9. Have you ever played a challenge?

so many! many failed legacies, isbi’s, asylums, and bacc. i’m thinking of maybe trying the nsb challenge for ts4?

i’m okay, thanks! tired, not wanting to work tomorrow, and thinking i want to sim for a lil bit.
