stacked, but not quite as Perfect as the ko cast just by virtue of the characters not being as fleshed out. as much as i love kathryn hahn, it's a lot easier to picture another actor as claire, say, than it is to picture literally anyone except jamie lee curtis as linda or michael shannon as walt (or toni collette as joni, or christopher plummer as harlan, or katherine langford as meg... you get the picture). that being said, hugh grant as philip is everything i didn't know i needed, i'm obsessed with the fact they brought noah segan back as another random weirdo, and janelle monae should be in literally every film ever made. they STOLE the show

i apologise for how bad this list is going to be because it's been so long since i've seen an episode of murdoch and i have a bad memory 😅 i really need to figure out where i was up to and continue watching

s3e1 - the murdoch identity - LISTEN from my memory (which is bad lmao) this episode was so so good and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time

s5e13 - twentieth century murdoch - all my descriptions are just going to be me being like yes yes this episode was also good bc i genuinely love every episode of murdoch that i watch so it's hard to make a list hahaha

i am putting my number three and four together bc these episodes are after each other so the last two episodes of s6 - crime & punishment and the murdoch trap - i just really enjoyed the suspense of both of these episodes !

s6e1 - murdoch air - i remember finding this episode very funny if it is the one i am thinking of but i could also be thinking of a different episode (told you this list was going to be bad, i am so sorry lmao)

top 5 chocolatey desserts

first up we have BROWNIES, they are honestly so good and i love them so much. i warm them up a little and let the chocolate melt inside and OML it is so so good

very similar to brownies but next up is muffins! i love choc chip muffins but also the other day i had a triple choc muffin and it changed my life man, i forgot how much i loved muffins hahaha

this might be controversial but cookies and cream cheesecake ! i know cookies and cream flavour and also cheesecake isn't for everyone but my mum makes the most delicious cookies and cream cheesecake i have ever tasted and i think about it sometimes and just go okay maybe life is worth living hahahah

this is another one that my mum makes that i adore but chocolate truffle balls, she makes them with condensed milk and chocolate sprinkles on the outside and man oh man they make my stomach feels so bad but they are SO GOOD

last but not least we have the classic chocolate mud cake ! now here in australia it is called a woolies (or coles) mud cake because those are our supermarkets, it is australian culture to get a woolies mud cake when it's someone's birthday or just when the mud cakes are on special hahaha

top 5 thrombeys

i can't believe you are making me do this but here we go 😭✌️

linda - i don't know if this is just because i adore jamie lee curtis but LISTEN she is such a good character !! she is a strong female character and yes all the thrombeys have their issues but i genuinely loved her arc and seeing her take her power back and remembering that she is a thrombey and proud of it

harlan - am i allowed to say my beloved? hahahaha, i know we don't see him for very long but i love him so much. he cared deeply about his family despite their flaws and he always did what was best for them even if he knew they weren't going to like it (the will lmao) i also just loved seeing how much he cared about marta bc she was also family to him, seeing them joke around and have fun together was so so heart warming

meg - when i first watched knives out i didn't really like meg as a character but upon my second rewatch and just every time i rewatch the movie now i see how important she is as a character, she's the only person around the same age as marta and it's also very evident that marta and meg have a special friendship

joni - is this bc of my love for toni collette?? possibly hahah but ALSO joni is such a clever character too, she is introduced as this dumb blonde who everyone doesn't consider to be part of the family (an outsider if you will) but realistically she is super intelligent and has been watching and observing how the thrombeys behave for years, she is just as much a thrombey as any of them are and she knows how to play their game to get her way

walt - i think he is in my top 5 simply for the fact that i love how pathetic he is LMAOOO, he basically had his career handed to him and to see him chuck a tantrum when harlan told him how it was was super hilarious. even to the point of him trying to threaten marta as well like this man is so desperate and pathetic and i love it hahaha

- “That Second Chance” by Meghan Quinn - “The Last Time I Lied” by Riley Sager: since I’m not a horror fan, his books were not for me even though I was very attracted to them.  Since this one seemed to be the less with horror, I tried to read and ... I LOVED it!!!  It was a more a thriller with some (little) “scary” parts but I get thought them without any problem ... And the ending ... OMG!!! - “The Chase” by Elle Kennedy
