Would love to see Count Vertigo from DC somehow get a redemption arc or something in some cartoon.
(No I haven’t watched Young Justice but apparently he’s in there?)
I’ve been thinking about this because Baron Zemo got sorta turned into a good guy in the MCU. Apparently he was a nazi in the comics, and they seemed to have changed that for the MCU. So what I’m saying is I’d love to see that for the Count. (I bring up Zemo because both he and Vertigo are royalty of some fake Eastern European countries.)
Idk I just want major characters with Ménière’s disease pls 🙏 👂
Outside does not always reflect inside. In this image you might not know I am literally seeing double, yet still needing to prep for tonight’s class “Getting Spicy & Freaky: BDSM & Kink Basics.” I am loving this series of classes at The Center on Colfax @centeroncolfax - but bodies are what they are. Ménière’s disease doesn’t have an opinion based on great students and delicious content. So, I walk slowly with one ele closed. A hand is available to grab walls as I go. Meclezine is taken, body is hydrated, and I enjoy a dirty chai and muffin. I sit and get some work done as best I can, slowly and patiently. I close my eyes and still see double, waiting for a few minutes before I have juice to try again. I will likely teach sitting tonight. There is no shame in that. A few years ago I struggled with that, but it’s a different chapter nowadays, realizing how much internalized ableism I carried. Fire Cider is a traditional immune system and digestive stimulant. It’s sour, sweet, and spicy with all the probiotic benefits of the vinegar, the prebiotic benefits of some of the inulin rich herbs, and anti microbial. This is a great way to fire up your metabolism and to boost your immune system. It also serves as a wonderful digestive aid. All of the ingredients were organically grown by me. No pesticides are used, ever. My Fire Cider is also full of vitamins and minerals, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and makes a great, non-narcotic cough suppressant and throat soother. Each batch of my fire cider "brews" for a minimum of 4 weeks to ensure a full infusion of all herbs and plant material. I only make one batch each year, so once it's gone, it's gone. Contains Horseradish, Ginger, Onion, Rosemary, Garlic, Jalapeno Peppers, Lemons, Turmeric, raw Apple cider vinegar, and Raw Honey. Please see my węb§îte for a full list of benefits of each ingredient. *Statements not reviewed by the FDA. After a vascular dr visit yesterday (no clots, no dvt, just have to get compression socks) I went to Michael's at @avenueeastcobb and bought yarn. They still had the 25% off coupon so I saved quite a bit. I got two more #caroncinnamonswirlcakes that will be #placemats and one Skinny Cake that will be a shawl. This is a larger store that has #caronskinnycakes but did NOT have #caronbigcakes so I was a bit disappointed. It also had self checkout which seemed to go faster than waiting in line at my local Michael's where only two cashiers would be at the registers.

So, anyone out there have any experience with Meniere’s disease?
In the middle of May I woke up from a nap with horrible vertigo - so bad that I thought I was going to fall out of bed. I ended up at the ER because the local walk-in clinics don’t take vertigo patients in case it’s a brain problem.
The ER Dr was great, talked to me about symptoms and sent in a referral to an ENT because it might be Meniere’s disease based on
- vertigo that lasted a while
- tinnitus
- sometimes my ear feels full or for no reason it sounds like I’ve just gone under water
No idea how long it’ll take to see the ENT, in the meantime he gave me some pills to take if it happens again.
Yesterday it happened again. I almost fell over twice - even with the pills in my system. Some parts of the day I was fine, other parts of the day I couldn’t move without the world spinning. It was not fun. So far today, things are fine. I’m going to call my Dr tomorrow, but I have a feeling it’ll just be a refill of the pills and more waiting until I get in to the ENT.
Anyone else deal with this? Is there any way to predict it might be happening? Any tips for dealing with it?
Jessy met my Father for the first time ever. My father is suffering from the meniere disease in an aggressive form, he has basically no balance at all anymore. Taking him to the horse would be a lot of stress for him so we never did that before. But when I told him that jessy's Paddock is so bad that I'm worried she won't make another winter there (knee deep mud, etc) he said he wants to take a look at it and help us with it.
Jessy was super careful with him and behaved great - I was actually worried that she might head kick him since it's her way to ask for food. I think they like each other. 😄
