Bridgette's name origin

When I was going through old fandom posts, the earliest post I saw mentioning Bridgette was dated September 16th, 2015

I asked in PV server who came up with the name, and edorazzi said it was probably m-alesg, who definitely came up with the names for Claude, Allegra and Allan. I sent them an ask about it on their other blog, @/m-alejandrita, but got no answer (they don't post ML anymore, so that's fine). I went back to look at their Quantic Kids posts and noticed they only started using Bridgette instead of Marinette in November of same year.

So I think chubbyhooves is the one who came up with the name, and then thanks to m-alesg it spread.

Also here is another person crediting them for the name and the AU

Looks like twin AU was already a thing but chubbyhooves came up with the idea of Bridgette and Marinette also being related

Instead of Felix Graham de Vanily its going to be Felix Agreste as Adrien's older twin brother.

HERE'S THE PROMPT !

Marinette is on a date with Felix Agreste during this time from the Jeanne Arc Academy of Arts with the Quantic Kids keeping distances to see how their date is going without interruptions but sees Felix's younger brother they don't seem to like it very much after they found out from Marinette that she had a former crush on Adrien back in her old school but now he is stalking her which put up edge towards Allegra so they decided to distract Adrien from going near their friends.

Marinette is no longer a student in Francois Dupont despite of Lila Rossi and Alya Cesaire who was put on restraining order by her mother who had found out through a text messages on her old phone that she left at the counter by accident. Sabine wasn't very happy at all. The only trusted friend she had back in Francois was Chloe, Sabrina, Alix, Juleka, Rose, Nathaniel, Max, and Nino while some of them decided to pretend that they are side with Lila to see the lies of her tales. Most of the text messages were from Alya and Lila the most which pissed Sabine off and had it screenshot.

Then there was another thing coming to the storm is Alya ordering pasteries from the bakery as a free discount for her as she remembered that is what Marinette told when they first met but now Alya was no longer friends with her but with Lila instead which Marinette took off the discount and free stuff but told her mother the truth about Alya's stubborness and asking for free stuff from her. That didn't go so well with her father who had heard it. While he look from the past orders of Alya Cesaire having her to pay back the money but informing Marlena Cesaire.

You say "are we gonna start calling zoe allegra" but deadass I've seen people point at images of Flora (one of the stages of development between alegra and chloe) and say zoe is based of that and not a cheap piece of printer paper they're using to show how bad chloe is because she has scribbles all over her page and zoe is just sooo clean in comparison as if that makes her better and I'm realising as I'm typing that this was a shitty analogy to go with for zoe cuz one of her "quirks" is that she has people write shit on her shoes but you get my point right?

I DO YEAH ... and omg that's such an insult . there's really nothing that can be tied to zoe and ANY pre-production character bc she literally embodies the polar opposite traits . she's blonde and marinette's friend and i GUESS has a flower on her shirt and that's enough to argue she predates CHLOE ??? anon i don't know how big you are in the pre-production ml fandom zone but if you are i think it's time to start aggressively gatekeeping it bc the disrespect is crazy

A Dump of My ML PV Concepts

Summary: Shortly after her father's death, Bridgette Cheng moves into Paris with her mother. While chasing a loitering black cat, she discovers a pair of earrings in the attic that gives her the power to become the heroine Ladybug, the lucky hero guided by the powers of the kwami Tikki. With her newfound abilities and the help of an unwanted suitor named Chat Noir, she fights for peace and justice against the foxy Magnolia and her band of lackeys. However, who is this Monsieur Monarch that their foes work for? And will Bridgette finally get lucky enough to score a date with her crush Felix?

Features:

Bridgette and Felix as Ladybug and Chat Noir don’t have Lucky Charm or Cataclysm; sorry.

Bridgette is the rich kid. She lives in a manor with her mother and a three-times-a-week househelp. She is of the Du Saint-Laurent family, a network of rich vineyard owners, art collectors, and fashion experts.

She's thankful for all those gymnastic training as Ladybug. And while she tries being the awesome cool action lady, every now and then her awkwardness as Bridgette slips through.

Felix is basically on scholarship to undertake a journalism course and is living on his own. His family is in England. He's trying his best not to make it seem he's from England. No, we actually never see his family, beyond him going "I have a parents and a little sister". No, we never really know his last name either.

Felix revels in letting his British accent slip as Chat Noir. He also employs his dad's ridiculous courting/flirting schemes. It doesn't work on Bridgette/Ladybug, though, because he forgets that his mom just really tolerates his dad's tomfoolery and is just enamored with the man behind the action and not the action from the man.

Felix is friends with a British-French girl named Anne-Marie who is invested in computer science.

Felix plays the violin. Or, well, used to religiously play it since he and his family poured savings into it, before he had to take up boxing to be better at being Chat Noir. Once becoming friends with Allegra, he picks up the violin again so that he can join her while she plays the piano.

Alya and Claude are a couple.

Claude is hard of hearing. He and his bestie Allan have an altered sign language to shortcut their conversations.

Lila is the villainess Magnolia. No, this is a non-negotiable detail to the plot. The heroine Magnolia is, surprise surprise, Amber Bourgeois.

Lila as Magnolia is an adopted daughter of Natasha, secretary to M. Henri Du Saint-Laurent, Bridgette's grandfather and the true identity of Monsieur Monarch. Natasha is pretty abusive towards Lila and is always surrounded by the Domino Men.

Alya becomes Sparrow to help out her bestie, her bf, and their friends. She's the badass normal of the group because she never had a magical accessory to power her up.

The lore is a little more Chinese-inspired. Tikki, Plagg, and Nooroo are the only kwamis/deities. There are five other accessories who are given to their followers, based on the five Chinese elements. The kids can choose whatever name fits them, but basically: Magnolia is wood, Mercury is metal, Melodie is fire, Kid Mime is water, and their last companion is earth.

Why is M. Henri going through such lengths? It has something to do with his wife Lorraine, the previous Ladybug. I just can't remember exactly what. Also their Chat Noir buddy is a dude named Thomas.
