Who?

Jak and Daxter fans! Maybe you :3?

What?

A sfw art zine to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Jak 3! It will be printed, with a digital version available as well. There might even be a merch bundle ;)

When?

Mod applications open on April 27th. The rest of the projected schedule can be found here. 

Aiming for preorders to open on the 20th anniversary (Nov. 9th)!

Where?

You can find us on Tumblr, Xitter, IG, and Bsky! We will also have a private Discord for mods and contributors.

Why?

JnD is a beloved franchise that deserves to be celebrated. Not much official merch exists, so it's time to make some of our own! And who knows 👀 maybe if we make enough noise, something will happen

Additionally, any profits from the zine will be donated to The River Otter Ecology Project!

Mod info!

All mods and contributors will receive a free copy of the zine.

We're looking for people to fill these roles:

Organizers: run the Discord and help contributors meet deadlines 

Graphics: make graphics for social posts and zine page decor

Marketing: draft and post on socials according to schedule

Requirements: must be friendly, more-or-less organized, and able to work with a team. No experience required, though it's a plus!

QSMP UPDATES MOD APPLICATION

Due to the incredibly positive feedback towards the creation of this account and the number of people who indicated their interest in being a mod for it, I’ve decided to move forward with this project!

As such, here is the application form for becoming a mod on tumblr qsmp-updates! All applicants (given that they are able to be contacted) will be contacted within the following weeks as to whether or not they are being considered!

Please spread this as much as you can since this sort of blog will need as many mods as possible to fill in for all the streamers and languages on the server!

As almost all mods are currently inactive, I'm opening the applications again!

Rules for applying:

You must be disabled. Mental and physical disabilities as well as neurodivergencies count here. We will not consider any abled mods.

You must be comfortable sharing and discussing your disabilities.

You should have writing experience, experience writing disabled characters is preferable.

You should be comfortable answering (or at least reading) asks that contain heavier content. Not everyone puts trigger warnings on their asks, and you might end up reading something that could make you uncomfortable.

You must be able to respond politely to asks. We want to foster an environment where people are comfortable asking any questions, no matter how silly they may seem. 

Ideally, you should be active on Tumblr and capable of regularly answering asks. I understand that disability can make things hard, but we’re trying to keep things active here. If you know you won't be able to do this it might not be for you.

We have an age limit! Due to the nature of some of the asks that you might read, please be eighteen (18) or older.

10 YEARS OF BILL CIPHER ZINE

Ten years ago, Gravity Falls released Dreamscaperers, marking the first ever appearance of our favorite satanic triangle, Bill Cipher! And what a lasting impact he had on Tumblr. From memes to thirst to his status as a Tumblr Sexyman and all the unique humanizations, it’s the 10th anniversary of Bill Cipher being unleashed upon our Earth.

To celebrate, let’s create a fanzine in his honor! Artists, writers and merch creators are invited to celebrate Bill Cipher as a creator! The application will be open for 2 months, meaning it will close on October 31, 2023. Happy creating, and I can’t wait to see your pieces!

We're Looking For Co-Mods

For 2024, we'd like to add co-mods to our events (currently Arlathan eXchange and DA Poly Exchange).

Last year it became obvious to us that continuing to run two exchanges a year (as well as mod Dragon Age Annual) would make it impossible for us to continue the events long-term without serious detriment to ourselves. Although there's no plans to stop either exchange yet we wanted to ask for help before it got that bad.

We're looking for social media and advertising help, in particular, but if you're interested in other aspects of modding (like managing tag sets, AO3 collections, our website, etc) we'd love to have help with that too. We're willing to teach you anything you don't currently know about running exchanges.

Anyone who joins the team will be an equal moderator with the current moderators.

Requirements

Dragon Age Fan

No history of harassment of other fans or Bioware personnel

Willingness to adhere to the guidelines in the Mod Info

Not Required

Moderating both/all events

Moderator Applications!!!!!

Events don't run themselves, so I'll need a few hands on deck to make sure everything stays running and on track to sticking to the already-decided event dates!!!

You'll have from the 14th to the 28th to apply, and you will hear back from me no later than the 31st!

Get your applications in now, future moderators!!!

And just to reiterate again for those needing to hear it: Mods are allowed to participate in the event (if the event runner plans to sign up, why not mods?) Anyone who applies but is not selected to join the moderation team will still be allowed to sign up for the event itself when the time comes!!
