One-on-one training sessions with Rey were fine. Really. Even if he did spend half the time adjusting his shorts, trying to will away an erection, Ben knew he'd gladly sign up for a special session with her again.

Or:

Ben wouldn't normally be described as a himbo. He did, after all, graduate at the top of his class and spent several years climbing through the ranks at First Order Industries.

But now that his life had crashed and burned with the indictment of his mentor, and he had to move back in with his parents while he reevaluated his life, his confidence was at an all-time low.

There was just something about coming home. It wasn't his fault that he was clumsy and lost for words whenever Rey was around. At least she thought he was funny even when he fell off the treadmill, twisted his ankle in yoga, and accidentally signed up for the senior line dancing classes.

God. He really was a disaster, wasn't he?

“I don’t think that’s a possibility,” Rey laughed.

“No, keep cooking. I like the domestic vibe,” she said with a wink.

Rey skipped over to the door before he could protest again and pulled it open without looking out the peephole. In the hall stood a woman about her height, brunette (which looked like silk), dressed in a smart, black pantsuit and ivory blouse. She was carrying an obviously expensive leather bag. It wasn’t a leap to figure out that she was the woman Ben had almost dated. Had dated. Wanted to date?

The woman looked Rey up and down before a knowing smile appeared on her expertly contoured face.

“You must be Rey.”
