#They always act like the distance is the worst thing in the world for them like cmon...We're talking about a couple who has been doing long distance for years. Who spent 3 whole months apart (because of Covid restrictions) but still managed to keep the rs alive (virtual painting dates like hello??) and when they reunited they quite literally broke the Internet because of how clingy they were. In a car. For 2 miles.

Like that's just part of their lives ?? Part of a lot of couple lives actually but that doesn't mean the relationship is not strong or anything. They can exist without the other for a few moments. And It's perfectly fine. I swear these people have never been in an adult relationship or what?? (I know the answer)

the funniest thing about this is that it's not just the less than 10 antis and the weirdo individual stans that you're describing here; half the people in the collective tz/tomdaya fandom (who are hiding behind faceless anon accounts) are like this as well. the panic and strange discourse comes from all these people combined. every. single. time.

I just do not understand why it's so hard to just follow a couple, not think about it too much, and go on with your life lmao. but like you said, maybe some of them really haven't been in relationships before and much of the projections stem from that.

I was a missive

Maybe not one full of love

But also not necessarily filled with only kindness

And I was packed like all missives should be

Lightly folded and clutched tight

And neatly addressed in calligraphy

Though fully unaware that the name wasn’t your’s

Your velvet gloved hands ripped through my enveloped

And everything I held concealed

came gushing out

in ink spilled and tear stained parchment

and for a moment 

I was a love letter 

But you were a candle 

 wide brimmed and waxy

lit aflame 

and resting on a metal plate

On a wooden desk

at midnight 

eager and melting

and forever looking away

And as your flames licked the edges

 I curled and gave in anyway

thinking this was our intention

this private correspondence 

But as my pages melted to embers

and my prose into ash

I didn’t realized you consumed me

only in your pleasure

Because I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression, I just want to make a tiny little post to clarify that the fact that you're not seeing any posts about Chris's relationship on my blog is not because I disapprove of that relationship. Not that it matters what I think lol, I'm just a silly fan blog, but still, some of my thoughts under the cut for those interested.

I have various reasons for not posting about it on this blog (the same ones I have for not posting about Sebastian’s relationship), but they've got nothing to do with me disapproving of anything. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I'm not telling anyone what to think or feel, and you're free to privately disagree, but these are my personal thoughts on the matter.

I think she is a grown woman who can make her own decisions, and I believe infantalising her doesn't help anyone tbh. Moreover, Chris is not a predator like some celebrities are (you know the ones). I'm sure he wasn't out there looking for 25 year-olds to date; he was single for years, so if he'd wanted to serial date younger women, he could have, and he didn't. Sometimes you just meet someone and click with them regardless of circumstances or age (speaking from experience here, so it'd be hypocritical of me to disapprove) and that's ok, and also nobody's business but theirs. I know a number of very healthy, loving relationships with an age gap irl, and as long as no one is being taken advantage of or coerced into anything, there is no problem whatsoever imo. And knowing Chris, we don't have to worry about any of that (and again, she is a grown woman, and Chris is not a predatory serial 25 year-old dater).

So, no judgement from me, just for the record. Again, everyone is free to feel how they feel, and I'm not trying to tell anyone else how they should feel, but this is where I stand. While I won't be posting about either of the boys' relationships on this blog for the foreseeable future, I do hope they're very happy ♥️

sorry, I meant more that the fact dream is queer can make people subconsciously look less favourable on his controversies than others, his fanbase could also play into it (you know how ppl tend to hate media/people beloved by girls/women/queer ppl) (also for the youtube gaming space, we all know what its like and how dreams fanbase is big and the vocal part is very much the opposite of the status quo) Though also I don't know any of these creators at all, I doubt they're like super homophobic, just,,, maybe ruled a bit more by social biases.

A lot of people also hate dream for things other creators have done worse while praising those creators, but he also has a lot of haters and its easy to be caught up in the idea you have to hate him/or the atmosphere of it/or that he's the only one who doesn't have remorse for past actions and then just, hate him without thinking about it further.

okay yeah that makes a bit more sense then. i've def talked in the past about how the type of audience dream fosters (by virtue of both his identity and just, how he comports himself) is potentially behind the disproportionate ire that he faces, largely because he's effectively a 'threat' to the standard chud gamer community 🙄 but obv it's hard to make specific claims, cos it's often more about ... vibes

Normally I'd do a year-end art summary and reflection but I didn't for last year cus 1) I didn't want a bullshit resiliency narrative and 2) I didn't wanna jinx the new year by being positive.

So instead here's some neutral food for thought: life is short, time passes each moment. You might not die but the time might come when you won't be able to do what you want to for whatever reason. So idk, do it while you can. You'll be glad for it. And at least you'll have something to look back on, or a foundation to support you when you really need it.

Eyooo solved my very first Rubik's Cube! Always wanted one as a kid and I never got one until now. Took me watching a ton of tutorials and two hours of solving but I think I get it now! Excited about having an overly complicated fidget toy. 😆 It's such a small thing but I'm proud of myself.
