Barbatos knew that this was no joking matter, that a smile and a few loose words weren’t going to make Xiao understand. That these words came from endless years of trauma, of a forced path, filled with torment, with bone shattering pain that would undoubted have been left, if free will had been there.

Like a god of love, of care and gentleness, the anemo archon reached out slowly as a few pure, white feathers fell to the ground and just like one of those, soft graces, digits delivered a feather-light touch to the nearby chest, right above, where a soft heartbeat could be felt.

“Canon Ships” in One Piece

I actually hear some discussion of this quite often… even on here, the idea that One Piece is going to have some endgame romances or something like Naruto did, is a topic I see talked about a lot. Personally, I find this hilarious since Oda almost never writes requited romantic interactions, much less one-sided romantic ones which are usually just Sanji.

One Piece is a story about friendship and families of choice. Looking at almost any character, especially the Straw Hats, makes that abundantly clear. This ties back to the theme of being free in my opinion. You aren’t bound by your biological family. It’s who you consider to be your actual family that matters.

We have Luffy, whose only present biological family member is Garp and instead finds his family in Ace and Sabo. Zoro’s family is never mentioned yet he had his bond with Kuina. Nami’s family is dead but her family is Bellemere and Nojiko. Sanji’s family are assholes but he has Zeff. Chopper with Doctor Hiriluk and Doctorine, Robin with the scholars and Saul, Franky with Tom, Kokoro, Iceburg, and the Franky Family, and Brook with the Rumbar Pirates and Laboon. Usopp is the only one that doesn’t really fit as both his biological parents are known and his mother was actually a good parent, Yasopp is questionable though. Still, he did have the Usopp pirates. Jinbe’s a bit tricky but I’d definitely count the Sun Pirates.

Romance has never really played a part in the story beyond Sanji being… Sanji. Obviously people are free to ship what they want but when I see people say stuff like, “look how Nami looks at Luffy… they’re canon," dead seriously, it’s funny as hell to me. She looks at him like that because they're friends/family.

Of course there's still a chance we’ll get canon pairings, but I honestly feel like Sanji would be the only one to end up with someone. Literally no other straw hat actually has had any romantic development in the story, and people really want canon romantic pairings? At least in Naruto there was romance throughout the actual story... but if One Piece actually ended up pairing off its main cast I think it would be such a huge fumble and poor writing choice. Plus no one wants that discourse lmao.

Also, I am aware of what Oda has said in interviews, but I feel like even without that, it's still easy to infer that One Piece isn't a story that will end up with canon pairings.

the only things i can share are what we already saw here: they like fruits and know whats eadible and whats not; they're familiar with local area pretty well; they good at stealth? tho i think the babe with scared face are just comically bad at noticing anything around them phphp; and they're nice and friendly to the strangers! we'll learn their names in the next update i think??

They immediately split into factions--

Luffy's just a little on edge because he knows if he stays lost wherever he is for too long Ace will get worried, also he's pretty sure he was kidnapped

Usopp's freaking right out because he's certain he was kidnapped and so were all the other kids, but Luffy recognized who he was from his father and Luffy seems strong so he's sticking with Luffy

Chopper cannot speak human, he's had human intelligence for like a month and he's scared out of his mind because he can't find his heard and its really hot outside. He tries escaping into the woods but Luffy followed him and called him "My new friend so I'm not lonely while Ace is looking for me" but Luffy and Usopp seem harmless and everyone else Does Not so Chopper will stick with them.

Zoro ended up yelling at Usopp and then Luffy yelled at him and Jimbe scolded him so he doesn't have a faction he's pouting in the corner

Nami doesn't know Who kidnapped her or Why but she was in the middle of a scam and this detour could ruin her credibility, she's trying to cozy up to the adults so they'll trust her enough she can steal the boat or at least let her pay her own ransom (she doesn't have any money, but she's pretty sure she knows what adults that kidnap poor orphan children want and it's not money. Anything to get her her village back)

Sanji has been adopted by Robin because Sanji is Very stressed without not being around Zeff as much as he's hissing and spitting at the adults. Robin is nice to him though, so he stays pretty close to her at all times. Just until they find Zeff

Robin has figured out no one has any memory of getting here, she assumes something wiped part of their memories, she's still trying to figure out how many of the adults are responsible for all the children being away from their homes so she doesn't castrate the wrong person

Franky is sure he got kidnapped for his inventing ability Again and is waiting for Kokoro to come pick him up, he is kinda concerned about all the children but Kokoro's never turned away a child so he's sure they can just take the kiddos back to Water 7 with them until their guardians find them

Brook is sure this is one of his weirder hallucinations so is just singing until they go away, all the youngest children keep sitting around him which he isn't surprised by but it is a little cruel that that Usopp boy looks scared of him. Why would his hallucination not give him back his old body?

Jimbe is really confused but as the oldest (he's not sure about the skeleton) he feels it's his responsibility to get everyone back where they belong. Jimbe's still scrabbling to keep track of the sun pirates he can't afford this detour. He just hopes these children weren't being trafficked, but all things considered it makes the most sense

When I saw Izuru's post, I really thought it just gonna be a karaoke stream especially they are together for AGF. You know to unwind, maybe have a little more fun after the event. Maybe Hakka is there as a surprise guest.

I seriously didn't think this is a concert, a FREE CONCERT! Orchestrated by the Kanade Izuru of Holostars! I was pretty surprised when the screen showed them in 3D!! I couldn't be happy for my guess to be wrong, cause this is way better!!

I had so much thoughts during the first couple songs cause what is up?! What's with the sudden concert? Considering that Izuru is singing with everyone, I thought maybe this is a birthday concert. But I know he celebrated his birthday with a regular stream.

My Japanese is very poor, so aside from being able to recognize the kanji for birthday, I'm not sure if he talked about doing this concert for his celebration.

Before this event, I have seen tweets of him saying that he was recording a bunch of songs one after the other. And this was around the time Rikka busted his throat.

Another thought I had is, maybe the reason for a sudden free concert is the fact that, they don't have 3rd Act this year. Cause if they have one, it would have been held last August. I know the first one was in December but Cover already announced their hololive production COUNTDOWN LIVE 2023▷2024 stream. I know they are all practicing recently but I don't think its for 3rd Act cause they would have announced it ahead of time.

I read tweets that Izuru specifically chose the songs for each member and damn the last one with Miyabi just hits my kokoro real hard!

After the concert, I kinda just sat in front of the computer cause it felt like a whiplash. Totally caught of guard! Deer in front of headlights! I didn't know how to feel afterwards. I was just happy!!

Also can we please force Roberu to sing more? It sound mean but winning son is such a good singer!! please sing more!!

Seriously, if this is just a random project, Thank you so much Izuru!!

"Sho-kun!! Shouto Todoroki, my husband! The love of my life!!" Called the wife of no more than the top three's hero, Todoroki (y/n). At your calls, your dual haired husband stop reading the paperworks and start to look at you with questional expression written on his face.

"Yes my love?"

You bought up some black and white shirt with very beautiful yet elegant pattern. "What do you think about this?" You gave him a toothy smile. "man clothes..." he mumbled, his monochromatic eyes staring dagger at the poor clothe.

Your eyes perked up. "Yes, it is indeed man clothes. What do you think? Was it cool?"

"I made it you know." You said while swing around the clothes, you smile brightly at the sight like a maiden whose fall in love for the first time. Seeing you like this, Shoto expression soften, he smiles. "For whom?"

You smiled even more if it possible, bought one finger to your mouth and make 'shush' noise. "It's a secret!" Todoroki frowned, looking at his paperworks again. Was it for some man? Not him? Your husband? Other man? Hah. "It's ugly."

His answer successfully make you speechless. "Augh! Right in kokoro." You laughed a little, quite nervous? "well actually i made this for you, Sho. Hm, perhaps i should give it to someone else--"

"It's cool, it suits me." Your sentences was interrupted by him who grab your hands immediately and taking the shirt. "Geez!" You pouted. "You damn tease!!!!"

"I'm your damn tease." He bluntly replying.

"Yeah yeah, love you too."

He then change his clothe and by the time you're waiting for him, you were humming some tune from your favorite music in headphones. And just in time your favorite lines coming, Shoto interrupt the moment.

"(Y/n), sorry just now I had a call from agency, i should go there.."

"it's okay babe. See you later :3"

"though I already promise you sigh."

"it's okay it's okay!!"

"Then... I'll go (y/n)." You turn your knuckle into fist and punch the air. "Ganbatte!!" But, after he takes two step away from you, he turn around and walking closer to you.

You were dumbfounded. "Eh? You don't go?"

He seems cleared his throath a little, bent down his body and face to your height. He placing one of his fingers on his lips. "...my farewell.. kiss?" As soon he said that, his cheeks start to warmed up while the tip of his ear became red. Though maybe he can't express his feeling well but right now, he's blushing. 'How cute.' You thought.

"Ha'i ha'i."

You placed your hands on each of his cheeks, closening the gap between you guys and lean in for a kiss. "Ganbatte ne Sho-kun." You mumble softly between the kiss.

Then the rest of his work, his co-workers questioned themselves as why did their boss suddenly full of energy but is really strict to them. When it's the time to go home, they all sweat-dropped when seeing Todoroki fastly goes to his car and speed-drives to his home. While bakugo just roll his eyes at it and midoriya deep in thoughts of what you might have done to Todoroki.

Todoroki Shoto. He will always waiting for your kisses such as farewell kiss, morning kiss, and the list goes on. He does get jealous easily though mostly he keeps it to himself. He's a busy man, but he always kept his promise to spare his time for you.

Watching the CL26 bowling video where they had a large number of LDH groups bowl against each other. No subtitles, Vibes Only. DEEP and Doberman Infinity are there, but I admittedly know them less - I have heard of SWAY and Kazuki from Doberman Infinity and that's - basically it. I apologize to them, they all look to be lovely men.

But I'm mainly here for our Jr. Exile boys - THE RAMPAGE sent 6 mbrs - Likiya, Hokuto, YamaSho, Ryu, Shogo, and Kaisei. Fanta sent four - Sekai, Sota and both Natsukis. Ryoga from Psychic Fever and Masa from BBZ are hosting, so they aren't playing, but the other 6 boys from each group are.

This is a longass liveblog. I apologize. It's more than 3k words. In my defense, the video is an hour and a half long. It starts after Doberman Infinity and DEEP went in the first round of the first game because I felt the need to liveblog when RMPG started. Whoops 😅

I tried to reread and add in, like, emojis and shit where I thought they were needed, because I wrote this in notepad. But this is all meant in good humor and good fun.

First round of play happens - Ryu goes up for RMPG and I'm like "You've got this, buddy. You've got this, I believe in you." And he rolls two gutterballs in a row, so RMPG scores 0 for the first round. Oh, buddy, I am so sorry. He looks SO pained. Admittedly, RMPG loses basically every time they're competing against other groups, so, at this point, I think they're expecting it.

This is unfortunately followed by Sota scoring a goddamn strike because that boy IS a prodigy, his own objections be damned. 😂

BBZ sends up Riki, who scores a 9 and then rolls a gutterball, much to his own disappointment. However, still doing better than RMPG!

PsyFe sends up Tsurugi, who is seems to be jokingly beefing with Sota, our beloved baby boy prodigy. Tsurugi gets 7 on the first throw and 2 on the second.

DEEP's Keisei got a 3 on the first round, then DEEP's Taka comes up and scores a spare, for 18 points at Round 2.

(I don't know him very well, but he just looks very stylish to me.)

(I am not sure what's happening here, but 'onii-chan' and 'otouto' was said a few times? Genuinely confused.)

Doberman Infinity got 9 in the first round and the man sent up for the second round has - something? Going on with Tsurugi, mayhaps a older brother/younger brother vibe. He scores a 5 and then a 3, giving Doberman Infinity a score of 17 total at the end of Round 2.

RMPG sends up - Hokuto. The pained noise I made. Oh, buddies. Oh, no. I love Hokuto, Hokuto's not the clutch player for physical games in most scenarios. I am hoping I will be proven wrong. I have low expectations, the bar is not hard to beat, buddy. Please. He said he's gonna get a strike, I am in pain.

Holy shit, he got 4! I will take 4! And then a gutterball. RMPG is losing. RMPG has already lost. Across two rounds, RMPG has 4 points.

Hori Natsuki is up for Fanta, and he gets 9. He also looks really good in that light purple. He misses the last pin, but considering Fanta is rocking a goddamn 28, Fanta is still doing pretty damn good.

Miku's up for BBZ. I am still not used to blond Miku. Oh, gutterball.

Doberman Infinity sends up Kazuki, one of the 2 members I actually have heard of (again, I'm sorry). Gutterball, RIP Kazuki. Second ball gets 6, Doberman Infinity finishes Round 3 with 23 points. Still doing better than RMPG.

RMPG sends up Shogo. … Fuck. Physical challenges - do not - necessarily - become Shogo super well, from other videos I've watched. They were older videos, so - hopefully - please - let him have gotten better.

Oh, thank god, he got 6. He got a fucking spare! Shogo! My boy! My boyyyy! Well done! RMPG is no longer absolutely miserably behind. At the end of Round 3, they have 23 points.

SawaNatsu is up for Fanta and gets a 4. He gets a spare! Fanta is the Team to Beat, my god. They are doing really well. They end Round 3 with 47 points. … 47 points. Jesus Christ.

BBZ sends up Yoshi. He also looks nervous. He gets 8, then a gutterball. BBZ has 17 points at the end of Round 3.

PsyFe sends up Weesa. C'mon, buddy. He nearly falls over when throwing the ball, but scores a 9. He nearly falls again on second throw and misses, but PsyFe has 24 now.

Keisei, DEEP's first gentleman, is back up and he gets a gutterball on his first throw. RIP, sir. And a second gutterball. RIP, sir. DEEP has 27 points in Round 4.

SWAY is up for Doberman Infinity. My god, he gets a strike. So Doberman Infinity is doing well. Congrats, sir. Doberman Infinity has 42 points at Round 4.

Kaisei is up for RMPG. First throw 9, that is the best of any RMPG member so far.

(he is going to succeed or die trying because that's how Kaisei rolls.)

And he gets a goddamn spare! Kaisei, you ABSOLUTE MIRACLE WORKER of a man. Oh, my god. Kaisei, thank you. It will not be an absolutely miserable loss for RMPG. RMPG has 43 points at Round 4.

Sekai goes for FANTA and gets 9 on his first throw. Is FANTA gonna do a massacre? Not quite, his second throw misses, but they still have 56 points in Round 4.

BBZ sends up Ryusei. He gets 4, then 5. BBZ ends Round 4 at 26 points. We have found something BBZ is bad at, I'm impressed.

Ren goes for PsyFe. First throw gets 6, then he gets a spare! Well done, Ren! PsyFe has 44 points in Round 4.

Standings at the end of the fourth round:

DEEP: 27

Doberman Infinity: 42

RMPG: 43

Fanta: 56

BBZ: 26

Taka, DEEP's second gentleman, is back up. And he gets a strike! We know who DEEP's strongest bowler is, he's gotten a spare and a strike. DEEP has 47 points in Round 5.

Doberman Infinity's 5th gentleman rolls a gutterball. But he gets 9 on the next roll. Doberman Infinity now has 51 points.

Please, YamaSho, please. Please be good at this. Please. He gets a fucking strike! Buddy! Hell yeah! What a comeback! RMPG finishes Round 5 with a score of 60.

(Not only is he good at bowling, he also looks very good in this video, in my opinion)

Sota's up for Fanta again. First throw is 8, and then he gets a spare. Fanta, damn, you boys are really fucking good at bowling. They have 73 points at the end of Round 5. Hmm, I wonder who's winning.

Rikiya is up for BBZ. First throw is a 7.

Rikiya gets 1 more pin, BBZ has 34 points in Round 5.

PsyFe sends Jimmy, who gets a goddamn strike! Damn, boy! We love a king. PsyFe ends Round 5 with 57 points.

There were 3 strikes and a spare in Round 5, holy shit. That is the best round so far. RIP, BBZ, I think the first time I've ever seen them in the bottom in a competition, this is unusual.

Doberman Infinity is obviously sending SWAY back up, since he's their best one. First throw is a 9, and he unfortunately misses the 2nd throw, but Doberman Infinity finishes Round 6 with a score of 60 and they are definitely not in the bottom. Well done, sir.

Likiya is up for RMPG and, once again, I am praying. Please. Please be good at this. Please. He gets a 1. Ah, shit. Oh, no. But they can't be worse than BBZ at this point.

Doberman Infinity seems to be up first. Is it seeing how long your ball rolls for? There's a timer going. But they were REALLY distressed when it went into the gutter. I am Very Confused.

YamaSho is going for RMPG. His ball is faster than the Doberman Infinity gentleman's, but it is going straight down the aisle. He scores a strike, because YamaSho is, apparently, good at this game. Damn, sir. I don't know if the strike matters? I hope it does.

Kokoro is going for PsyFe. Nope, that's a gutterball, too. So we're at 4/5 gutterballs. So he gets a handshake from the Doberman Infinity gentleman.

Taka, DEEP's best player, is going for them now. Notably, he's doing the same thing YamaSho did, but his ball swerved and ended up in the gutter riiiiight at the end. So YamaSho's the only one who didn't end up in the gutter.

Doberman Infinity is sending up Kazuki for attempt 2. His ball went fast, but he got a strike and it didn't go in the goddamn gutter. Well done, sir.

RMPG sends up Kaisei for try 2. Goddamnit, his ball ended up in the gutter in seconds. But, hey, YamaSho still did well round 1.

Sekai rolls a gutterball for Fanta, RIP. Ryusei's ball also ends up in the gutter. Weesa ends up in the gutter, too. And Keisei, DEEP's worst player, is up, oh, poor DEEP, poor man, honestly. I believe in you, sir - oh, no. So. Once again, only one ball didn't end up in the gutter.

RMPG wins this game, whatever that means. I think it's because YamaSho's ball took the longest to roll - his was, like, 7 seconds, whereas Kazuki's was, like, 3.5 or something? But, hey, not last place! And Doberman Infinity gets 2nd place, because, well, they're the only other team to succeed. And because everyone else failed, they get 0 points. Ouch. BBZ already only had 10.

Game 3 is - Bingo bowling? How does that work? My god, I wish I could know what the rules are. I think they have to roll specific numbers in order to make a bingo?

DEEP's Keisei, poor man, is up again and gutterballs it. He gets a strike on his second throw! Holy shit, sir, congratulations, but I don't know if that's a good thing? They didn't get a number on the bingo.

Doberman Infinity is sending up the gentleman who seems to have a brotherly dynamic with Tsurugi and he throws a strike. Aaand the strike is apparently a bad thing, they didn't get a number on the bingo definitively.

Ryu's up for RMPG, please, buddy. He gets a 6 and there seems to be a strong debate over whether or not he's doing a second throw. I think he's doing a second throw. They end up getting an 8, so they now have 7 and 8 on the board and only need 9 for a bingo.

SawaNatsu's going for Fanta, they just need a five. But he gets a strike. It's definitely a 0, RIP.

Sorry for the late reply but for the Dad Diluc Brainrot (hurt/comfort mostly, i think); What happens if the torture was too traumatizing for the kiddo to the point of being unresponsive- like they are physically healthy but just not there, like a living corpse, and not even Kaeya could help. The sense of helplessness that Diluc would face in actually stepping up to finally be their dad, to atleast see his precious baby's smile once more.

Or, Diluc having someone, anyone like Kaeya or Adelinde or Elzer or literally Venti sit him down and give him a wake up call. That he can't keep doing this forever, that if he would just look, paid attention, to his child for one second longer, he would realise they need their father as much as he want to be a father to them. That they aren't a mirror of his wife, they are their own person too. That everyone knows how much he wants to be their father but stops himself because of that line of thought. That he just easily give up on an idealistic dream of building even a slightest hint of a relationship with them, all because he never tries as much as he tries to convince himself otherwise. Or, the child blaming themselves for their father being so unhappy, all because they were born. The bittersweet and traumatizing realization that if they weren't born, their mother would've lived and Father would be able to smile without care. So, they began to distance themselves to the point of giving up all hopes of even a familial bond to the point they cease calling themselves a Ragnvindr, they stop referring to Kaeya as their Uncle and Diluc as their father. And they live like a shadow, being as unremarkable and average as possible, tossing aside any and all hobbies and working hard to do the bare minimum of not being a stain to Diluc's name, since if their birth brought about so much pain, how could they have the right to be happy. (Add an argument to prelude it, they blurting out it would've been better if they weren't born and him agreeing to it, for extra angst but my kokoro can't take it sadly) And, finally. Imma end it in a happy note. Diluc and Kaeya watching from afar as Klee babysit MC ( and by that, i mean bring MC fish blasting). Diluc and Kaeya would watch with exasperated, and with a tiny hint of worry expressions but a small smile would creep up Diluc's face watching the two of them have the time of their lives fishblasting, with carefree smiles (until Jean arrives).
