Going down to London tonight for a long weekend! Night bus for me though, no trains for the poor in this country.
I wonder if I have any mutuals there??
I'd love to go see The Ocean At The End Of The Lane at the theatre but it might have to remain a dream for time and money reasons.

Walking in London is when I feel most certain. I know the fastest routes, the most scenic streets, the alleyways that circumvent rows of busy shops, the quickest walk to a cinema or museum where you can sneak into the toilets with ease. I know that the Hungerford Bridge is where you should stand if you fear London has lost its lustre, the terraces at Richmond are a European Summer Holiday when you cannot afford one and the Night-Bus is where your best and worst thoughts will form.

Rehearsals for Retirement 2007
Part of “In Memoriam”, a body of work comprising several videos, shot entirely within the virtual world of the Grand Theft Auto video game. Solomon transformed Liberty City, the ersatz metropolis based on New York City in which the game is set, into a reflective space of stillness: devoid of players, full of melancholy, nostalgia, loss, grief, and instances of compelling poetic beauty. This work was created in response to the passing of Solomon’s lifelong friend, Mark LaPore, at the age of 53, on September 11, 2005. ×

I was on a night bus when it was raining the other night. I decided to take a picture and by sheer dumb luck I took one at the exact right time for all of the colors of the lights reflected in the windows to look really neat on the first attempt. Only did some minor cropping and color touchups in post, the raw already looked cool af \o/

Stayed late at a friend's house yesterday. Ended up not making it to the night bus in time and BAM stuck in nowhere land at three in the morning. Cause of my stupid pride I didn't go back and just sleep on my friends couch, no I just wandered to the next bus stop, and waited there for three hours!
And I'm a little bit high, and very very tired. It's less then five degrees C and I'm getting colder and colder. Didn't help with the eerie fog, and the fact that I didn't see a single other person the entire time. Walked some rounds not to get too cold and because I literally almost fell asleep whilst standing!
Feel so bad for people in the past in the same situation but without phones. Podcasts are true lifesavers. Think I fell asleep on the bus when it finally came. By the time I reached the city, there were already people out and about. Was In bed at home at seven in the morning.
Feel like shit now, seven houers of sleep. Not doing that again for a while.
