10.10.2021 // yesterday i had a sudden motivational boost to redocorate my room for the new semester. i reorganised my bookshelf and threw/ gave away everything i don't need anymore. and today i picked some small flowers and put them in these fancy flasks.

candles - what did you do to keep the quarantine blues away?

i was lucky enough to be able to visit with my sister and some of my family who live nearby which really helped me through quarantine. i also joined the studyblr community and this whole experience has really been wonderful!

art portfolio - did you nurture or discover any hobbies?

i did! i’ve started embroidering which has been amazing for me. i really like the routine of it, as well as the outcome!!

it's so unusual for me to really do nothing during my vacation. i always feel so guilty when i'm not doing something "productive". this summer is the first in a lot of summers that i don't think about uni for three weeks. and i'm like *shocked* that this is possible. anyone feeling the same?

whenever i learn chemistry i have to scribble into this notebook. i need to make connections and little drawings, otherwise i wouldn't understand it. and afterwards i explain it to myself with just these notes and talk it out loud.

17.08.2021 // i'm still not finished with my lab reports because the TA always spends weeks correcting them and is really picky about the details (which per se isn't a bad thing but when i have to correct a report just because a comma is missing... i get pissed). but today is very exciting because i will meet up with a phd student to talk about my bachelors thesis and to show me the lab.
