Look at them! Look at their face!

This? This hurts me. This really hurts me. O Titan, Where Art Thou?

Disclaimer: after the horrifying results of the Philippine elections at the beginning of this week, I’m so glad for this episode. I needed a balm to my soul.

This show always feature a key person to provide an empathetic AND sympathetic POV. Today, we have STEVE for KING:

This is not just a King-centric episode, this is also a Steve-centric one. Steve finally gets his break from the Emperor’s Coven and takes off the mask.

The fight between Eda and Luz hurt...and unfortunately may have put Raine in danger after that outburst.

Steve is the best guy: not only being there for King, but also telling his old boss Lilith to try therapy. I also hope Hooty apologized to Steve after charging him...

King realizing that he doesn’t want power after all, just like Steve realizing that the Emperor’s Coven isn’t ALL THAT.

The call between Raine and Eda...oh my goodness...

...and then that save when EFFING TERRA SNAPDRAGON ENTERED THE CALL. GET AWAY FROM RAINE!!!!

That intro, though--The Collector is lonely? And they tried to keep King in...wherever it is that they’re trapped in. And how did they end up in that spherical prison? Hmmm...

Finally, The Owl House is teamed up with...the CATS! (Darius did not approve the name change)

Though in Raine’s defense, it might have been payback for the rough handling they received when Darius and Eberwolf rescued them back in Eda’s Requiem.

And more importantly...Luz and Eda are carving a new Palisman!
