Something so interesting about seeing someone's ascent into shipping kyman. I was looking at this fanfic author's bookmarks because they wrote a real interesting kyman fic and in their bookmarks you could see the literal timeline of them leaning into kyman. The earliest bookmarks of kyman fics have like bookmark notes from the author saying "I don't ship kyman! I don't like kyman!! ...But this is a well written fic." And then as time goes on the less notes I see about them assuring that they don't ship kyman. Not sure how to word it but it's just so wild seeing ppl feel bad or ashamed about enjoying kyman because they don't want to be persecuted by the ppl obsessed with moral grandstanding in this fandom... But eventually they stop caring and realize that fandom exist for fun and creative processing and that they can enjoy something without having to worry about their purity in the eyes of some stranger.
