Just got my 2nd and 3rd ever skirts from you in the mail today and they weren't even supposed to get here til tomorrow so that was lucky!

I got the pink/purple sky whale mini in size B (my actual size, I got a C for my first one and it fits but if I put too much weight in the spacious pockets it's a little droopy so I just carry light in that one) and she fits like a dream and is SO beautiful up close and in person that I'm lollygagging getting fully into my work uniform bc I don't wanna swap this beauty out for my boring work pants 🤣

I also got the skull border mini skirt in size A (skirts dropped on the opposite week of payday for me so all that was left was A and D but this was so cute I figured I'd risk needing to alter it to fit) and can report despite being a 44 inch waist it CAN fit me, just a skooch snug, but nothing dangerous or unbearable. 8. How would you describe your artstyle?

kare why would you make me do this. (/lh) I genuinely don’t know? I guess I render with a painterly style, and I fluctuate between using lineart and not. I wouldn’t describe my style as cartoonish but it’s also not realistic, and I’m not sure if there’s a word for something in the middle. I tend to go for warm, vivid colors, which were once described to me as “heavy” which seems accurate. that’s all I got lol hope that works!

17. Your personal favorite works of art (not made by you) are…?

ohh this is a good one! but also very hard! I’m gonna limit myself to 6 and I’m gonna try to get in as many different mediums/kinds of art as possible. I’m also gonna stay away from any hermitcraft/life series fanartists cause there’s too many to choose from i can’t

1. Digital art: off the top of my head this has got to be one of my favorites! i just think it’s absolutely gorgeous. honorable mention is this drawing by bdubs it’s so good

2. Painting: I visited the Musée d’Orsay and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec’s work on cardboard really amazed me! I don’t remember a specific work I liked the most but I’ll list him as one of my favorite painters. Very interesting guy in general I’d recommended reading his wikipedia article

3. Sculpture (installation): I discovered this work by Walter De Maria while doing research for a class and I love it so much. here’s a post i made about it lol

4. Animation: I mean I know this is an obvious one but Into and Across the Spiderverse are just incredible. they have to be on this list it’s just no contest

5. Writing: My favorite book is so hard to choose but I think I have to go with Slaughterhouse 5. Great book about WWII, death, and time travel. It’s described as a dark comedy and is an incredible novel with some really thought provoking ideas. I’d 100% recommend it, it remains relevant 50 years after it was written

6. Other: Idk what medium this counts as and I talk about it often on twitter but 17776 (what football will look like in the future) is genuinely one of my favorite things ever I think about it all the time. kare I know you’ve read it but if whoever else is reading this hasn’t, PLEASE do it’s a speculative fiction piece about human nature and I love it so much

Like to be fair, after sbr it wasn't hard to do better than that lol

And I knew people said it was good

But it was SO good

Lile DiU was my favirote and give or time still is interchangeably with jjl

But jjl really just stole my heart it's just so fucking good, it just feels classic and good and hits all its points so fucking good and well

I thought the fights were so fun, almost all the characters are fuckin phenomenal, such great lady characters, and a story that while I agree can be a bit messy or plot holey (which I feel is just to be expected in jojo parts anyways so idk why ppl make such a huff about it. Sbr had a weak ass story line and its fan boys never wanna acknowledge that) and the emotional impact and went out to make actually hits so hard.

It's just a good part

Like fr if you have the time and will to sit and psychically read the manga I can not recommend jojolion enough

1. which character from any media would you like to have as a father? Jack from This is Us. I need to rewatch but from what I remember, I think I'd like him as a dad. (Even though he dies when they're still kids)

2. if money, laws, time, and effort were no object, what animal would you want to have? A big cat. Either a tiger or lion.

3. what is your Chinese takeout order?  Usually something very basic like sesame chicken. Usually with lo mein unless I actually like the fried rice from the place.

4. what's your favorite emoji? I’m currently very into 🫠 and 😂

5. would you rather have a library, greenhouse, or home theater in your house? Yes.

6. what childhood tv show do you think of the most fondly? Ohh so many. I loved Arthur, The Berenstain Bears, Reading Rainbow, Liberty Kids... to name a few.

7. what was your tumblr like when you first joined? Oof that was so long ago lol. My Tumblr is basically a synopsis of my obsessions and interests throughout the years but is also full of random shit that I choose to reblog. I think that I'm alot more active and interactive with people now though.

8. what clothing style do you love but don't feel compelled to replicate yourself? Eh I don't really pay attention to clothing styles tbh.

9. if you were plopped into a fictional world, which one would you know the layout of the best? Mmm since I'm currently watching it, Bob's Burgers. Or SpongeBob. With a refresher, I think I'd do pretty good around Hogwarts too. Also maybe BOTW.

10. what is your favorite piece of art? I seriously considered putting a picture of Noel and Cam for this because I think that they are both gorgeous pieces of art but I won't. I don't have an answer to this though so...

11. do you have a water bottle? what does it look like? I have a few actually that I switch out. I usually always have one for home and one that I take and use at work though.

12. what fanfic trope is a quiet fave? Probably slow burn.

13. do you carry a daily bag? what does it look like? what's the weirdest thing in it? A basic crossbody bag. Uhh idk how weird it is but I have crystals in it that I carry with me.

14. if you had to ship Mickey with another Gallagher, who would it be? Probably Carl because they’d be absolutely ridiculous together.

15. what is a fanfic trope you didn't expect to like and then very much did? I don't normally venture outside of my normal tropes (canon compliant, smut, fluff and angst) but I am currently reading LRPD for fic club and I am so glad that I am. It has been SO good so far and I'm upset that I don't have as much free time as I used to have to read more but I'm making my way through it. So alternate first meeting? Slow burn? Whatever trope LRPD is - that.

16. Do you think s11 Mickey can still carry s11 Ian? I don't think so but I think that Mickey has tried. (I just thought of something so fucking sad about Ian being in a downswing and Mickey tries to carry him to bed but he realizes that he can't anymore and he gets mad at himself because he feels helpless. Fuck 😥)

17. who got custody of the killing bat when they sold the house? First person that I thought of was Carl but idk if that fits him anymore since he's a cop now. Ohh but I'll stick to that. It's not really used anymore though he just has it hanging up at the Alibi as more of an ode to his childhood and the Southside.
