This spin off probably was made to heal the pain from the original one piece, I laughed too much my head hurts 😭

white beard playing game console with marco and ace, sun bathing and collecting seashells 😭

The funniest thing is that all of the pirates are middle schoolers and the marines are the teachers 😭 it kills me even white beard is a 3rd grade despite being 72 y.o 😭😭😭 doflamingo being a total different guy, he’s a celebrity and even bought things for luffy and the others 😭

At least make them high schoolers?? 😭😭😭

I keep screaming every time I see ace I might actually pass out he’s so handsome here Im so dead.

I love DVD-RAM discs out of a place of nerdship, but this is unacceptable:

I’m so glad USB flash drives took off, instead. My heart goes out to all you people in Japan who grew up with these.

#to be fair #document files are tiny #and since these were competing with early flash drives and floppy disks #they should’ve served that purpose just fine #dvd-ram discs also half their read/write speeds because they verify every little thing they write #this disc in particular is a DVD-RAM1 disc #i think it’s a 3 or 4x speed disc #i have a DVD-RAM2 disc that supports 6-12x speeds #but they require special drives to read and write to #and they were only ever sold in Japan #so it’s basically just a pretty piece of ewaste I have now #for decoration #or collectors sake #idk #also also #i think my disc drive’s quiet mode interfere’s with its ability to write on dvd-ram discs very quickly and i forgot to turn it off #also also also #spinning disc storage mediums are usually better at transferring one large file instead of lots of small files #so this IS sorta a torture test for this poor thing

what I love about Eustass Kid as a foil to Luffy is just... they're the same. Like that scene when they are racing to Onigashima and they are both riding on the bow of their ships and look at each other. Both would do anything for their crew (i.e. attack Enies Lobby/an emperor) but the only difference is Luffy is the main character and Eustass just thinks he's the main character.

Maybe it's just the will of D and if Eustass was Eustass D Kid it'd be different but dude is destined to fail
