Not only is the matchmaker in I Cannot Reach You a Pink Person, Hosaka (he has a pink barrette in his hair and pink bags),

But the show is about to win a colors award because it uses a COLOR-CODED bokeh effect!

I repeat,

The bokeh effect is color coded!

And it happens every time one of the boys has BIG feelings

So of course, Blue Boy Yamato is always in his feelings

But Kakeru, who is a Yellow/Orange Oddity, is starting to question his feelings more and more.

Even the opening credits has their colors combined in the effect.

And when they were reminiscing about their childhood, both their colors appeared.

The show was already giving me color-coded phones, different color-coded bags and them eating different color-coded foods (and juice boxes)

But now it's giving me a color-coded effect as well as a color-coded amulet for a love confession.

And we ended this episode with Kakeru in a blue shirt hiding with Yamato under an orange and yellow blanket.

This show is adorable. It understands the color-coding assignment and has also thrown a little razzle dazzle on top (like those cute color-coded floating orbs and the implication that Kakeru has loved Yamato a lot longer than he realizes).

so as we know "it's on" is going to take place in 3x6... but despite all the conflict in 3x5 everyone seems pretty chill with each other in the mv? maddox and jet are voluntarily pairing up to sing and seem close despite all the heartbreaking sibling conflict reveals from last episode. similarly, ej and gina are voluntarily pairing up and working well together, and ricky and ej don't sing together but still work well with each other in their team! to be completely honest, I am a little worried that the writers are going to take all these conflicts more lightly than they should be. yes, it's supposed to be a summer of fun for the wildcats, but "fun" shouldn't be equating to "rushed".

  A relationship built on mutual support. You saw every part of Jax; his personality, his actions, his decisions, his choices - and you still loved him anyway. That’s the difference between your relationship with him and Tara’s relationship. 

   You accepted him fully. The life wasn’t an easy one, but you accepted it, no matter how difficult it got. Tara was torn, one foot in the outside world, and one foot in the biker life. Tara’s hesitation doomed the relationship from the start. 

・Jax loves that you can handle blood and gore. Although he hates that you have to see it, he’s still impressed by your ability to keep your composure. 

・Absolutely loves your Doberman. The first interaction was a hilarious one: 

The doorbell rang and you knew exactly who it was. A grin appeared on your face but you shook it off before opening the door. 

    “Jax Teller. What brings you to my doorstep?” Your voice was levelled, but you let a hint of playfulness lace your words. 

 “I’m in need of your services,” a smirk toyed at Jax’s lips and you couldn’t help looking him up and down. 

  But your interaction was interrupted by the sound of your Doberman’s paws on the hardwood floor. Your boy was well-trained but wary of strangers. 

  His trot stopped and he stood next to you. His pointed ears were sharp and a sneer only seconds away from appearing. 

   “Cute dog,” Jax said but those were the wrong words. Cute wasn’t the word you’d use to describe your dog. And you let Jax know that. 

   “Speak.” 

Almost like your Doberman could read your mind, he let out a fearsome bark. 

  And for the first time in a long time, Jax jumped and stood upright. 

・Jax always makes sure you have a pack of cigarettes in your house. He knows it’s a way for you to unwind - and in this line of business, there is no shame in how you cope. 

・Tara and Jax left things on good terms. She loved him but knew the life wasn’t for her. You were a great person for Jax, and honestly, she liked your company. 

・The first time Jax offered to get you a gun you laughed. 

     “What’s so funny, darlin’?”

All you did in response was take out your best friend and gently place it on the table in front of you. 

      “Shouldn’t have doubted you for a second.” 

・Jax loves seeing all your tattoos. On nights when you’re in deep conversation, your ink becomes a popular topic. He wants to know why you got it and where. He’s joked about getting matching ones (that’s how you know he’s drunk). 

・When life gets too heavy you jump on the back of his bike and you ride for hours. 

・Being Jax Teller’s Old Lady has big standing. Not only are you important in the club, but people around Charming know your importance as well. A lot of people are shocked when they have interactions with you - not just because of your affiliation with the club, but because you’re so intimidating. Your appearance has a lot of people turning heads. 

・Gemma would be a bit distant with you at first. Opening her heart to Tara was a big thing - and now Jax has a new Old Lady. So she doesn’t know what she feels for you. 

・But you’ve proved yourself, over and over. 

・And Gemma wants so badly for Jax to have a woman that will stand by him. But you do more than that. You stand by Jax, but also the club, and the life of a biker. You were made for this.

Bumping off my other post, I've got a good chunk of other OCs too, not just COD like I have DnD characters who I personally consider OCs too, got a plague doctor with a good friend of mine, Transformers OCs who are very near and dear to me and probably others floating about my notes on my phone

I'd love to talk about them too yet that vice of being bothersome or being not original enough or all sorts of stupid things has me caged

And I suppose the only reason I ask is cause if someone's interested to listen then I'll tell, but if not then they're fine staying in my notes? Again it's complicated and I'm trying to work through it to do what pleases me not others as well as getting myself back into interacting with people beyond a like and reblog. Small steps I suppose.

this is my standard disclaimer that i have never posted a fic on ao3* and for however much i say “au” i truly mean that it’s a universe that lives in my head & i am absolutely delighted to tell you all about, all the time <3 if it helps i ALSO got me so invested in the heddy & stammer tailor au

ok now that the author’s note is out of the way here’s some notes about the not!fic heddy & stammer tailor au:

stammer as the tailor from gent’s playbook, very reserved, quiet, with an excellent eye for details (honestly the evidence i have for his style sense is just that he’s best friends with pk subban so it has to be there somewhere if only by proxy irl) is hired by victor hedman, star of the tampa bay lightning who is every other tailor’s nightmare to dress (huge, opinionated, fashionable)

heddy is decently well-known throughout the league for being very well-dressed & becomes quietly well known for also being one of his new tailor’s favorite loyal customers [heddy has the nicest fabrics. he has his suits the first day a new collection drops & e v e r y o n e is jealous]

stammer’s business booms after heddy takes a chance on him as his first big client & promotes him, heddy sees him grow in popularity & get more clients

heddy also moonlights as a model for stammer’s suits on instagram, initially to help him grow his business because then he won’t have to pay for a model and then because he’s over there all the time anyway because they’re dating (that’s why the model’s face is never in the pictures)

there’s not really a plot to this besides the vague idea of a plot where stammer makes heddy his lucky suit that he wins the cup in & sews a special little tag into the lining of his jacket that says i love you

because love sometimes is picking out the perfect right color pocket square to match your husband’s beautiful suit that you fitted like a kiss to the curves of his huge body

& also sometimes love is making your beautiful husband who makes you beautiful clothing enjoy nice things for himself once in a while, like the fancy watch you bought him or the nice suit you custom-ordered for him (from him) just so you could take it off of him
