Nobody ever talks about Love Games it’s literally one of the most funniest episodes simply due to the fact that Finn has to marry someone right after his girlfriend broke up with him and he never got a divorce

Inktober day 20! POWER OF FROST! I had to do Ice Finn because I know everyone else is doing Ice Prince. Glad he was saved, though he’s probably worrying where his child is. Poor Farm world Finn can’t get a break.

Day 16 - Dizzy
@mediwhumpmay
Fao hadn’t felt right in a while. He’d been tired for ages, and whilst his depression often made him fatigued, this was worse. He’d been trying to head off a spiral for a while, and his recovery from the shooting that had nearly killed him had been understandably slow. He’d hated it, hated being laid up and it taking so long. He’d gotten better, a few months in, feeling better and starting to pick up work and other things. Work was great, working in the basement with Steve was great too, and getting back involved with his family business again felt right.
When Harrison had arrived, that month had been incredible (after a rocky start). It had been a glorious summer, warm and sunny, and they’d spent time getting lost in each other. It had been freeing, and exciting, and Fao had to admit he really liked spending time with Harrison. And then he’d left. Jetting off back to god know where, and it left Fao alone. Of course, he wasn’t actually alone, but it felt like it without Harrison. They’d had so much chemistry, formed such a connection so quickly, and when he left so suddenly it was just gone. But he’d been trying to keep himself on the straight and narrow, working hard. But this fatigue kept hanging over him, he was constantly just exhausted, far outside of his normal.
He’d been struggling to work out for ages, too. Every time he pushed himself, he’d get palpitations. Only for a split second, but it was enough to make him feel shit. Standing up too quickly made him dizzy, though that wasn’t that unusual for him when his blood pressure sat on the low side. It was getting more common, though, and often the dizziness came as the same time as the palpitations, only a split second.
He’d had them when he smoked, too. The rush of nicotine making his head spin and the flutter in his chest come back. He knew it wasn’t right, but he’d convinced himself it would go away in time, that his body just needed to self-regulate. He’d been through a lot, after all. The sore, tightness across his chest every so often ought to have scared him, but he’d grown used to aching. After all, it still wasn’t that long since he’d been literally shot in the chest, had his ribs broken by Finn’s CPR that saved his life. He was going to hurt.
Things had eased a little, and he’d started to think he’d been making it up. Maybe it was anxiety, or his shitty sleep, or his chest healing up slowly. He could’ve pulled something, surely that was it.
But then he woke up feeling absolutely fucking dreadful. His chest was tight, and the pain was certainly something. He was exhausted, and dizzy, and when he stood up he damn near passed out. He felt awful, but forced himself to get up and brush his teeth. It made him feel better, and he swallowed his meds with a grimace and headed downstairs to get himself a coffee and try and wake up a bit. Maybe that would stop him feeling so crap.
It didn’t. It made him feel worse, and he dragged himself down to the basement to do some work. He needed to keep his brain busy, and going through the supplies would do that. He’d been spending a lot of time with Finn, trying to work out how best to organise the basement to take more and more complex cases, avoiding hospital for their men where they could. It helped that Fao had his qualifications too, was gaining more experience. Some things would still need hospital, but after Fao’s dramatic reappearance, he wanted to get them better stocked. Finn had struggled, and he didn’t want him to be in that position again.
By lunchtime, he was really struggling. His chest pain had really kicked up a notch, and he couldn’t catch his breath. It was like he’d just run miles, and yet he was just sat at his desk. He pressed a hand to his chest, and figured he should at least get up to rest on the sofa, hoping that might help. Maybe he just needed a nap.
But standing up made him so, so dizzy, and he groaned, gripping the desk. Fuck. He couldn’t pass out, he just couldn’t.
"Fao?" Finn glanced up from his desk. "You look like shit. Why don’t you sit down?"
“I was… was gonna go lay down.” Fao said slowly.
"Let me do a few checks?" Something wasn't sitting right with Finn, and he wasn't going to let Fao leave.
“Dizzy.” Fao mumbled, and managed to sit back in his chair before his legs gave out.
"What else?" He asked, grabbing the monitors.
He was still struggling to breathe, his chest tight and painful, his heart pounding. “Hurts.”
"Your chest?"
“Mm. Can’t breathe…”
"Right, okay. You’re gonna be okay, yeah? I'll get these checks done and we'll see where we're at."
He nodded. “Too… too fast.”
"I know. We'll get it sorted, yeah?"
“Really dizzy.”
"Lean back as much as you can."
Fao did as he was told, leaning back in his chair and closing his eyes. It sort of helped to stop the room from spinning, but he desperately wanted to lay down.
"Was Steve around?"
“Don’t know.” Fao managed.
"Okay. Okay, sure."
“Finn.” He whined, feeling worse.
"What?" He was completely out of his depth, and Fao was only making it worse.
“Really don’t feel well.”
"Yeah, I know. I'm trying, Fao." He whined, reaching for his phone to call Steve. "How long has this been going on? Can you get on the bed? You're gonna hate me."
Finn’s questions were too much and Fao whined. He could probably get on the bed, though. “Yeah, bed.” He mumbled. He just about managed to get there, with Finn’s help, and it felt much better than his chair. Didn’t feel like he was about to hit the floor.
Finn moved to hold Fao's hand. "We've got two choices. Your heart isn't working like it should. We can either give you drugs that'll stop your heart and hopefully put it back to normal, or I can sedate and shock you. Neither is nice and I don't want to do it."
Fao frowned. “What’s wrong wit’ it?”
Finn sighed, his voice wavering slightly. "I probably fucked it up when I fixed you up and now you've got fast AF and you're gonna hate me."
Well, that wasn’t good. “Not your fault.” He mumbled.
"It was."
Fao didn’t have the energy to argue with Finn. He felt hazy, the dizziness wasn’t stopping, and he was struggling to catch his breath. Everything was too much, too fast, and Finn didn’t seem to be helping.
"Fao?"
FInn’s voice dragged him back to the present. “Mm?”
"You can hate me and all that later, when you're better. But you're gonna feel like shit in a second, and I'm sorry." He rushed, pushing his drugs. "I love you, I'm sorry."
The drugs really did make him feel like shit, and Fao groaned. He hated it, Finn was supposed to be helping, not making him feel worse.
"I'm sorry, you're gonna be okay, I promise. Just relax, you're gonna be okay." He murmured, silently placing the pads on. "You're gonna be okay."
Steve finally appeared in the basement, frowning at the sight. “Finn? What’s going on?”
The drugs had given Fao a split second of relief before the pounding of his heart was back. He whimpered, feeling again on the verge passing out, darkness tinging his vision.
"I can't do this. He needs cardioverting. You're gonna have to do it."

I’m intrigued at the season 5 shock at Brilliant Chang walking into the Garrison —> not only did season 1 episode 1 open with Tommy in the Chinese Quarter knowing enough about the Chinese to use the Chinese to add (drama) to his racing scam, demonstrating clear communication with them, there are also elements of awareness/peripheral mentions of the Chinese enterprise/s featured multiple times, and these half-comments increase notably through Season 4.
So my theory is that Tommy always had a watch on them, as a market force, even if Arthur and co were unaware, and Tommy pulling out that hilarious little notebook on Chang clearly shows this; by counter they always had a watch on him and correctly identified a time when he’d be open to a very risky opportunity. Operating adjacent and mostly in parallel but rarely converging.
Now Arthur was surprised because ~~fucking hell it’s the Chinese where did this come from and how do they have the guts to walk in here like this~~; Tommy was only surprised because (?) it was someone as high ranking as Brilliant Chang (?) and they went so absolutely balls deep (!) on the first real play.
A play of both desperation on Chang’s part (what do you do when you have 7t of opium on your hands and no way to move it or liquidate it=mild panic) but also a sense of ‘just because you think we might be desperate for your canal network to move our shit, just be aware 1) you don’t have the option of saying no even if you think you might and 2) we will destroy you if you fuck us around’
And would BC have even come in to the Blinders, if Tommy hadn’t laid breadcrumbs in some way shape or form indicating he might’ve been interested in the opportunity, even if those breadcrumbs were simply letting it be seen that he was watching/counting/aware of their actions.

I need you to consider that feeling rebekah getting railed by Damon is what made finn lose any hesitancy he had with his mother's plan
Oh my god, that's right, that's canon now. Poor Finn, he probably had been so distressed and depressed at that moment. "Yes, Mother, please, lets get the ritual done. As soon as possible please"

“...the damn bee hive thing, too. You shoulda seen the size of the stings on his ugly fuckin’ face.” Danny chuckled away, mostly to himself. He was a little too blazed to be able to notice that Finn wasn’t as engrossed in the elongated story session. Danny was just happy to have seen another Southside face that didn’t belong to one of his brothers. Although, it may aswell have. “Plus, he’s drunk outta his mind tonight too and wearing sweatpants that I swear to God, this isn’t a lie Finn O’Connor, I saw him drop mayonnaise on twice in the last week and ain’t seen ‘em in the washer once.” he continued on, slinging an arm over Finn’s shoulder. “Actually, if we’re being completely honest I don’t even think one of those stains is mayonnaise. Not even ranch.”

*wheeze* I love that
Finn isn't the type to rant about people unless it's to his dad, since it's not something he thinks it's necessary to involve others in.
However, when there's an argument between him and one or more than one of his partners it's not too difficult to figure out. Finn is really petty to them and they are sulky lol
As I've said before, Finn has these idiots wrapped around his finger. I just imagine Azul making a whole ahh buffet as a form of apology (with a gigantic portion of chocolate mousse at the center of the table) 😂

DAY 12: “can you hear me?
@febuwhump
Fao loved living with Finn, but he had to admit it wasn’t exactly the best for having his own social life. His brother was great, but he couldn’t help but talk, and if Fao brought someone back to his place, Finn would tell their mum and there would be far too many questions. He wanted his privacy, whilst he found out what his relationship was.
So after a very nice dinner with Ely, he’d stayed over at her place and they’d thoroughly enjoyed themselves that evening. He’d had to go to work after that, and hadn’t had a chance to go home between. So when he finally got home that night, shattered and glad to be back, he was surprised to see the lights out at home. Finn hadn’t replied to his messages between patients, nor his phone call on his lunch break, but it wasn’t unusual for his brother to sleep all day after a migraine or a night of not being able to sleep. His injury had been a long time ago, but he still struggled, and Fao wished he could do more for him. He was worried, of course, but he tried to push it aside. Finn needed his rest - he’d probably enjoyed the peace and quiet without his brother there to bother him.
Unfortunately for everyone, Finn was never that simple. He'd felt shit the night before, but Fao had told him not to call unless it was an emergency. It hadn’t felt like one at the time, but waking up drenched in sweat and dried blood on his lips certainly did.
He called out for Fao, but he didn't come, and Finn didn’t understand; Fao always came.
He didn’t know where he was the second time, confused and disoriented. He had enough sense not to choke on his own vomit, but then he was gone.
“Finn?!” Fao called out, chucking his keys down on the side. No reply. He called again, and still got no reply. “Finn? Can you hear me?”
Arrow had rushed downstairs to greet him then, but the dog seemed distracted. He nudged at Fao’s hand, but then pulled back and barked. No reply from Finn and a barking, unsettled dog wasn’t a good sign.
He headed upstairs, Arrow hot on his heels, and he pushed Finn’s door all the way open. “Finn?” He tried again, flicking the lights on. He hoped his brother would wake, swear at him for blinding him, grumble and complain, but there was no response. Fuck.
He stepped into the room to him in bed, the duvet a mess, his back against the wall. For a moment, it looked like he was just sleeping, until Fao realised what was wrong. His gaze was fixed, his sheets were damp, his clothes clung to him, soaked with sweat. How long he’d been like that, Fao didn’t know. He quickly clambered onto the bed, quick to try and assess Finn. His whole body was stiff, every muscle tensed, and his breathing was dreadful at best.
He fumbled to find his phone in his jeans pocket, immediately dialling for an ambulance.
With the severity of the situation, an ambulance was arranged immediately, several crews scrambled.
There was a slight change with Finn, his body starting to give up. His muscles relaxed but his seizure didn't stop, blood and spit collecting in his throat.
With limited resources, it felt like an age as Fao waited for the ambulance. He kept his brother on his side, trying to let his airway clear, but knew he needed more intervention than he could give him at home. He gave Finn’s Midaz as soon as he found it, but it didn’t seem to make a difference.
With Fao so worried, he'd left the front door open, luckily for the ambulances. They called through as they entered, following Fao's instructions to the bedroom.
Fao was so relieved to see them, out of his depth and unable to do much else other than speak softly to his brother and reassure him that he was okay, that everything was going to be okay. Now there was was finally help, real people with real equipment and resources and the ability to get Finn to the hospital very quickly.
He was cannulated quickly, diazepam given as soon as they were able.
Of course, Fao was quickly moved out the way as they worked on his brother, and there wasn’t much else he could do except watch and wait as they did what they could, his arms folded tightly over his chest.
"You're his brother, right?"
Fao nodded. “Yeah.”
"I just wanted to give you a little update. We're going to give him some meds to relax him a bit more, and we'll take control of his breathing for him."
Fao nodded again. “I obviously gave the midaz I had, but I’ve no idea how long he’s been like this…”
"When was he last spoken to? Or seen?" She asked gently.
“Uh…” It was hard for Fao to think. “I last spoke to him last night, probably around 11? Just to tell him I wouldn’t be home. He seemed okay then. After that, I had to go to work, and I didn’t get any replies from him today. Not unusual - after a migraine or something he sleeps a lot, I figured it was just that.”
"Alright. So you've not spoken to him at all today?"
He rubbed his face. “No.”
"Thank you. I know it’s really difficult."
“I’ve never seen him quite like this, I…”
"Do you want to step out?"
“No, I’d like to stay with him i! I can.”
"Are you sure? This can't be easy."
“I need to be there for him, he’s my little brother.”
"You need to look after yourself too."
“It’s okay. I’ll be okay.”
"Okay."
“I, uh, I guess I should pack him a bag.”
"Might be a good idea.'
“I’ll try not to get in your way.” Fao murmured, grabbing Finn’s go bag from where it sat by his wardrobe. It wasn’t full, though, in typical Finn fashion he’d left it half packed.
"That's alright. Take your time." She said, joining the rest of the crew.
Fao let them work, trying not to listen too closely. He packed a few clothes for Finn, comfy hoodies and soft pyjamas. He’d want them, for an admission. Because that was what was going to happen. He’d be in hospital for a while. The alternative didn’t bear thinking about.
The paramedics went about their work, carefully taking control of Finn’s breathing. He was easy enough to treat, despite just how unwell he was, which helped. There wasn’t a lot they could do, though, and soon they just needed to get him out of the house.
Fao had at least finished packing the bag for him by then and followed them out of the house and into the ambulance after locking up. The guilt curled in his stomach - he should’ve been home. None of this would’ve happened if he’d been home, he could’ve gotten on top of things much, much earlier. He’d need to call the family, to let them know what was going on, but he couldn’t bring himself to yet. He’d do it once Finn was settled in resus and the team was working and getting a better idea of what was going on. He didn’t think Harrison was working tonight. He really hoped not - nobody wanted to treat Finn, it was hard enough to watch him go through this, let alone to have to try and manage it.
