WHERE WOULD LILA BE IN CALLUNA I NEED TO KNOW THIS KAIT
I'm not entirely sure where I would place her in that universe. She's never been in the role of Sparrow, mostly because she's not sassy enough to play the role of a cool thief that steals Prince Ray's heart just like they stole the royal jewels. She's not particularly strong, so making her a knight was always out of the question since she would get flung across a battlefield before she even dismounted a horse to fight.
I'm torn right now because I have three roles that would suit her but I'm not sure which would narratively make more sense to place her into.
One would be a gardener, she's always loved flowers and spent much of her life tending to them and the chickens at her grandma's house in the canon universe so it wouldn't hurt to make her someone who works with flowers. Ray also loves visiting the gardens since that was King V's pride and joy and it's the one place he feels close to his Dad after the accident. She likely lucked into the task somehow? I'm not sure.
The second thought would be as a nurse. The Prince has always been sickly so he's not a stranger to the hospital wing. I think, her wicked mother might've sent her away to an apprenticeship with the castle to make her useful to someone. Her Mother doesn't think she'd be suitable for marriage, and I doubt she think they would get money if they sold her off, so she just shipped her off to the nuns who taught her how to nurse.
The third thought is a princess. It's not very clever but it's to be expected of me at this point. I imagine Queen Rika might want a pliable bride for the future king, someone who will follow his lead without hesitation and make his rule easier. Again, Lila's mother is really the worst person in the world, so I know she'd try to pawn her off to the first kingdom that made an offer.
I'm not sure which one of these I'd use, unfortunately. But, these are the three ideas I got so far.

gerard: "alright alright i'm gonna tell you all a story - cause it's story time. OWWW once, there was a mighty dragon.. spewing fire all over the land. and ONCE there was a handsome prince with a big long silver shiny sword and a big black horse.. and he went into the lair of the dragon.. and he stuck his sword right into the belly of the beast"
I haven't seen enough appreciation specifically for that one scene where Finnegrin threatens to cut off the hand of whoever stole his glow toads and everyone immediately tries to get him to pick them over the others in like... the most them way possible. Ezran immediately trying to do the selfless thing, Rayla showing her dark humor, Soren just advertising his hand because he knows his worth, and Villads immediately joining in and making the best of it. They're all so ride-or-die and it was kind of delightful how genuinely it confused Finnegrin
Every time I revisit the lunar chronicles I’m reminded what a good time Kai’s chapters are bc everyone else is doing high-stakes running from law enforcement things and Kai’s just sitting there— the law enforcement in question— giving Levana diplomatically unadvisable side eye and not so quietly rooting for his cyborg-Lunar-fugitive-situationship

April has come to an end, so to properly celebrate the ending of Autism Acceptance Month, I made a collage of 25 fictional favorites of mine that I've headcanoned as autistic.
BTW the only exception is Barnaby who is officially confirmed as autistic, therefore they're at the centre of the collage. ^^
Missile/Ray’s final farewell before he ceases to exist hits different when you know he was named and modeled and used the audio of and was entirely based off of Shu’s actual dog, who is also dead now.
