Rules:

When sending an ask, address it to the character you want to ask. (i.e. “Dream, what do you . . .”) Asks without a character specified will not be answered.

You can ask/talk to more than one character per ask! (i.e. “Hey Dream and Nightmare, what do you . . .”)

You can ask pretty much anything, be it story/lore-wise or other. Just please be appropriette and respectful!

You can only ask/talk to those on the character list. (For example, you cannot ask Blue or Ink anything! at least for right now)

You can “gift” any of the characters something either through ask or a submission!

All asks with be answered via text only. I will also try to answer questions at least once a week on this blog, if not more, depending on how much time and energy (or asks) I have. Please bear with me if it takes a while to get to your ask!

Rapunzel Ray... sweet lovely prince locked in a tower... rescued by his prince(ss) and loved for the things he was taught to hate about himself...

Cinderella stories were my shit growing up (Anne Hathaway in Ella Enchanted (wait a sec... ella enchanted ray/saeran... I'll come back to this) and Drew Barrymore in Ever After made me gay) and I must apply cinderella AUs to all my faves.... cinderella!saeran or !saeyoung would need some playing around with bc of the sibling thing... something could probably be done with saeran's perception of saeyoung... i just love cinderella AUs

And now because the brainworms attacked: Ella Enchanted Ray/Saeran. If you like Cinderella stories I'd guess you've probably seen or read it but if you haven't the short version is: as a baby Ella is given the ""gift of obedience"" by a fairy godmother, which curses her to do anything she is told to do. In both versions she breaks the curse but I prefer the way the book does it--when the stepmother orders her to marry the prince, intending to make Ella her puppet for power since she's magically compelled to do whatever she's told, Ella breaks the curse through sheer force of will and refusal to hurt someone she actually loves (then marries the prince bc she wants to and can make the choice herself). Which reminds me a LOT of Saeray defying Rika on day 10 and running off with MC.

[I don't think you've read Calluna. While it may be older, it holds a soft place in my heart as it's a Ray themed story! He takes the place of Rapunzel in a strange twist of fate when he encounters a thief... who has a heart of gold and a secret you may not believe.] If you wonder how the twins can work in that situation, meaning how they are separated in that world, read to find out!

And, I love Ella Enchanted! Anne Hathaway was a member of my young gay awakening. You made me picture the scene in the chamber of mirrors and the thought alone is enough to make me cry. Him with a trembling hand, tears in his eyes, trying to choose a fate that won't hurt anyone because his heart is too soft for this curse. Though, picturing the way things lay out in the book... there is no wrong answer here. I could get really into that.

Sigh... I need to see Ray fancied up as a prince with a twist of angst...
