I've noticed that species like Numemon and Raremon are getting a lot more love lately! And that's great! These species have been seen as "dirty" or as "failed evolutions" since humans and digimon have began cohabitating and that doesn't do them justice! They're complex individuals with their own place in the digital ecosystem just like any other digimon! And while it's great that they're getting a lot more recognition, a lot of tamers don't know how to properly care for their partners in this form. So, here's some quick tips on how to care for digital decomposers!
1. On average, these species tend to eat a lot so you're going to need to have plenty of food on hand. Numemon and its variant species, Geremon, especially need this because of their quick evolution rates; so always make sure to have a few extra pounds of food or a spare hard drive that you don't mind getting chewed through.
2. Make sure you make adequate accommodations and prepare for messes well in advance. This especially goes for Sukamon and Raremon, whose bodies are primarily composed of rotting materials and therefore, can be expected to leave a bit of a mess wherever they happen to roam. Keep some plastic tarps and heavy duty cleaning supplies on hand, and make sure to assure your buddy that it's not their fault if a few stains get left behind. They can't help it after all!
3. Prep a first aid kit in case the worst happens. Most decomposer species tend to secrete some kind of venom, and in some cases this can even be airborne. Accidental poisonings lead to around 300 hospitalizations of tamers this year alone! That's more than Digimon attacks and tournament-related accidents combined! Thankfully, antidotes for all these species are commonly distributed among tamers Unions for just such an occasion. You should be able to be given a vial or two a month, maybe more depending on the size of your Union branch!
Overall, I'm really happy these species are receiving the love they deserve. Yes, they present unique challenges when partnering or socializing but we as humans need to look past that and be willing to compromise if we want to continue bonding with Digimon. As always if y'all have any questions, or anything to add, please let us know!

Raremon getting spoiled by their tamer who loves them no matter their failed evolution? Love that big globster ;w;
Raremon getting spoiled by their tamer who very much loves them
To say Raremon had a hard time would be a very heavy understatement. Everything they used to be able to do before becoming Raremon has either become horrendously difficult, or outright impossible for them. Even just thinking.
They couldn’t gather their thoughts coherently enough much anymore, and even when Raremon could, talking was entirely out of the question, save for a few simple single words. Moving hurt. Thinking hurt. Doing anything hurt so so much.
There was one upside, at least. Their tamer. Raremon’s tamer was so kind and patient and understanding with them. If they were moving to slow, their tamer would wait with a smile for them to catch up or try to find something to help them mobilize their body better. If they struggled to understand something, their tamer took the time to wait and repeat what they said if necessary.
When they couldn’t push themself to move even the tiniest bit anymore, their tamer stopped and sat with them until they were ready to go again.
Thinking was… hard. Raremon knew they looked horrendous in this state. They expected their tamer to get fed up and leave eventually, but… their tamer never did. Their tamer was kind and loving and patient, and though they couldn’t comprehend their tamer’s words as well as they used to anymore, they knew they were supportive. Loving. The gentle tone in their tamer’s voice was all they needed to understand that.
Raremon could feel their body and mind deteriorating more and more, but by bit each day it felt like. They wished they could properly thank their tamer. Show how much they appreciated the hugs. The gentle touches. The patience.
Their tamer helped them with so much. So much that used to be so simple and easy for them once. They do their best to help in return, as difficult as it was to do so. Raremon knows their tamer is always telling them how much they care about them. How much they love them. Even if they don’t understand the words anymore, they can just… feel it.
Raremon wished they could say it back.

Gen 2 has finally hit adulthood! You know how they say your children are a reflection of who you are? Well, these children are a reflection of how absolutely shit my sleep schedule is and, in the case of Junkyard here, how I view myself sometimes lmaooo. Twiggy became a Gokimon and Junkyard became a Raremon (Aka Hedora for those who know). Despite joking about them before, I absolutely LOVE both of these mons, especially their sprites on these devices. If only Rare Raremon was a thing when these devices dropped, then Metal Empire Z might've been one of my favorite rosters yet!
Naturally, I put the statement of "cockroachs are invincible" to the test here, and whaddya know, it's a true statement even in the digital world! Didn't have to beat Junkyard to a pulp, though.
Well, that's it for now! I'm really excited to see what these two become! Until text time!

I tried to help a raremon get food and now I am covered in sludge… is it harmful
Don't panic, you just need to take a shower and try your best to keep it out of your eyes, nose, and mouth. While it is true Raremon can produce a caustic slime when threatened, the normal stuff isn't going to hurt you unless you get it inside you. Hopefully the big fella appreciates the effort you went through to help them,,,and offered you a towel at least
