My favorite expression in the anime. There is a lonely, sad little boy inside there.

I’m not a huge fan of Sasuke, actually. He’s too similar to myself and his arrogance is off putting. That being said, this child was done so dirty. His feelings were never validated and he never got any real closure for what happened. He played a pivotal role in saving the world, but was never truly acknowledged by the village —and its people— he’s expected to show allegiance to. The same village that committed generational prejudice of his people and ordered allowed the massacre of his entire clan without so much as an apology. There was no memorial erected; there was no recognition for future generations to learn from, to ensure there wouldn’t be another Danzo. He’s expected to be THANKFUL they didn’t execute him for treason. It’s awful.

Thinking about the Hatake clan. Except it's a version of it that only exists in my daydreams. Anyways it all hinges on Sakumo and Oro getting together, and the Hatake clan (of 2) and Orochimaru's clan (of 1) merging. They become Hebi no Hatake, they become 'the Fanged Clan'.

Since chakra is magic bullshit anyways, sure Kakashi doesn't get any snake physical traits (he does get some temperament and behaviour from being around Oro tho). Neither does his adopted son Rock Lee. But somehow, somehow Metal Lee has fangs and lightning affinity anyways.

The other side is Rogu, Sakumo and Oro's kid, and his child, Mitsuki. They're a little more obvious about the snake traits.

But what I'm REALLY thinking about is Shinki, Hatake in only the name, and Metal, somehow Hatake in blood, too, being siblings. They both get summoning contracts, but their canines are african wild dogs and jackals, and their vipers are rattlesnakes instead. Because they're children of a clan made from two, and they're children of two cultures, too. The Hatake clan adapts, escapes extinction, changes, and somehow still stays the same.

I just realized can an Otsutsuki (Boruto) achieve sage mode? 👀

The reason I was thinking about this was because of Boruto potentially training with Kashin Koji, but 80-100% of his DNA is Momoshiki Otsutsuki.

In the anime-canon of Naruto Shippuden, we see Hagoromo Otsutsuki achieve toad sage mode & it’s implied he was hanging out with the mount Myoboku toads to achieve said sage mode! 🐸

Though would Boruto be considered more directly Otsutsuki than Hagoromo? I feel like it would be about the same amount of Otsutsuki DNA. 🧬

I’m just rambling at this point, but I think this does make it possible for Boruto to achieve toad sage mode by training with Kashin Koji during or after the time skip! 🐸

i got a ship for you. Log x Koji Kashin. Orochimaru love watching them be cute together because he miss jiraiya so he's living a old relationship throw them.

That's an interesting prospect! I think Orochimaru's first instinct would be, No way do I want Jiraiya's cloned pervy hands on my precious son! However, if he came to trust that Koji had good intentions and that he made Log happy, then Orochimaru would definitely be supportive of the relationship. He'd likely also want Koji to join Otogakure, rather than having Log move out, should they want to live together. He's not ready for an empty nest just yet!

And though he probably wouldn't admit it, Orochimaru would find it touching and would hope Jiraiya would approve.
