These are very simplified definitions, if you're interested in this stuff definitely do more research and reading! The intricate details are really fascinating and specific to each animal- plants are even crazier!
Budding: a new individual develops then detaches from the parent when mature
Fragmentation: a new individual grows from a detached piece of the parent organism
Parthenogenesis: a new individual forms from an unfertilized egg
Facultative Parthenogenesis: the organism can reproduce sexually and/or asexually
Obligate Parthenogenesis: the organism can only reproduce through parthenogenesis
Gynogenesis: a form of obligate parthenogenesis that requires the presence of sperm without any actual genetic contribution

Rotifers are so weird and I was glad to learn about their existence. Their name mean "wheel bearer" due to their unusal mouths and they feed by creating a current that sucks food into the mouth for processing. Made sense to me to slap some saw blades on that bad boy and create a pokemon. Spinjaw have highly developed and powerful spinning mouthparts that can spin with enough force to draw food items in. Although they subsist on smaller prey, their formidable saws are capable of processing anything into small enough particles to eat. They have seen use in production and construction but their simple lifestyles are not suited to complicated work. Sawmaw have developed their formidable blades even further and their stronger leg allows them to hop towards prey in a more unexpected lunge. More interested in larger prey it can nevertheless be hard to pin down as the sound of their jaws at work is enough to startle most creatures before they can attempt an ambush. --Attack Info-- --Ability Info--

Bdelloid rotifer eating
This little animal uses its ciliae rings to aspire water, then it grinds it with its mastax organ. It mostly eats organic detritus and other microorganisms.
