so for me it was the beginning of the last episode where we see him just like fully soft and in dad mode. i feel like it's a little odd just because there's no mention of the timeline in the show at this point so it's odd to see the flip from how he was before to how he was currently acting. its nothing huge at all, just an observation! but it was all chef's kiss 🤌🏻 and i am ready for s2 and sad for the wait!

watching the 2x07 scene... and thinking about finnegrin's wake... sobbing

because watching that scene just fills you with the most overwhelming feelings of this isn't him. he's so mad and he's so gone and he's scary. as scary as a sack of flour can be.

and that same process, but during finnegrin's wake? him being physically ruined and exhausted, being suddenly hit with that surplus of fear, already having had his entire identity ripped into today, distraught over the consequences he now knows could destroy everything, and yet so desperate that he chooses do it anyway and he's consumed by the darkness again and some how it got so much worse.
