Do you ever ask yourself, "could I build a fortress in the Sims?" Because Xan did, and boy howdy, it was rough. But, that's what won the gift poll, so here we are! The Fortress comes with a moat, drawbridge, and about 30 rooms, including barracks, privies, guard towers, a chapel, stables, and the keep itself. And much, much more. Check out a breakdown of the floorplan here.

The Fortress is lightly furnished, exhaustively tested, and fully playable. There are also a couple secrets hidden around. Because what's the point of a build this size without a little intrigue? :3

It is my birthday, so to celebrate here's a hot springs lot for Tomarang that I've been working on over my holiday break! It's set as an onsen, however it features enough spa amenities that it could instead be switches to a spa if you desire. Massage therapists don't seem to spawn on their own while it's set as an onsen, but the yoga instructors still do, and the tables offer the option to hire your own. (For some reason the chairs don't offer me the option at all, but they can be used for a relaxing footsoak.) Playtested and cc-free, though it does use a hefty amount of packs! Japanese Courtyard Rental

This was built in the Wakabamori neighbourhood in Mt. Komorebi. It has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom perfect for 1 sim or a couple vacationing in Mt.Komorebi. This is the 2nd build I’ve done from scratch in over a year. The build is on the gallery but as a residential lot because there seems to be a bug where the lot changes to residential when uploaded. You will need to change it to a rental lot yourself.

Hello! I've been super busy finishing up requirements for school... Today's the last day for the submission of requirements and I've been rushing to do them and submit on time, but I've been struck with a bout of procrastination, and I thought I'd participate in simblr appreciation day!

I don't really have any particular people in mind but that's mostly because I cannot remember every single person and I would feel bad about forgetting anybody,,, ANYWAY! here's some appreciation to:

The people who make CC and mods - y'all make this game bearable and I genuinely cannot live without them so I am very much thankful to all of u ily all (except the permawallers)

The people who make those CC and mods POSSIBLE - the people over at s4s and all the other tools like s4castools, as well as the tutorials they've made over the years have been INVALUABLE to the community and I just wanted to recognize them and say thank you <3

The people who reblog CC and mods - I feel as a creator, I've always been very appreciative of people who reblog my content because it genuinely helps me out to have my content spread to a wider audience. On the flipside, as a consumer, I'm also very appreciative of these people because I LOVEE discovering new creators that I've never known before who make literally the best items out there and AAA i'm just so happy

The people who download and play with said CC and mods and create the most beautiful sims, stories, and builds with them - as a creator, I honestly feel very giddy whenever I see people use my cc or even my mods. I know I don't generally reblog (because I usually forget) but I genuinely appreciate all of you! Thank you so much! All of the sims and builds I've seen with my CC have been incredible and have been truly inspiring <3 The stories and edits that I see on my dashboard (or when I stalk people on my activity dashboard IM SORRY) are honestly amazing and I LOVE to see it!

Of course, the people who play vanilla! - whatever type of gameplay you make, whether it's vanilla or with a shit ton of CC and mods, I love to see it! It's so refreshing to see how differently people use the same game to create such a diverse community! Vanila players, however, I have SOO much respect for. You guys are the strongest soldiers out there. I am weak to the temptation of custom content. Always have been.

The people who made this a thing! - this has honestly been one of the best things I've seen on simblr in a while, all the negativity and drama have made me a little less keen on being here a few months ago, but I've slowly come back and I'm genuinely so happy to see something like this happen :D

My patrons - honestly couldn't really end this appreciation post without saying a thank you to my patrons. Seriously, thank you :D You don't know how much your donations mean to me and my getting through college. The extra funds from your donations have allowed me to be generally independent in terms of funding myself and my activities. Seriously.

Anyway, this has been a super long post and I'm actually kind of embarrassed to post it because it feels like a long diary because I've been rambling about stupid stuff that I should have probably kept to myself but uhh yeah!!!!

Strip away the whole Emperor's Wrath bit and Savosta's primary story, his primary struggle, remains relatively in-tact, just taking place on a smaller scale. His scenario isn't entirely unlike Jaesa's in that his early training and then apprenticeship under Baras encouraged him to extremes and discouraged the kind of exploration that would've let him maybe heal and select a different path a lot earlier, so he could maybe be a vanilla class story companion for Warrior or Inquisitor, though I'd rather the PC met him further along in the journey and leave his troubles behind him to some unnamed Sith Lord.

So I'd lean at least during the Alliance era, at earliest, if not pushed off all the way until Ossus or even Legacy of the Sith.

How that'd work is, essentially, the war with Zakuul disrupts the state of the galaxy, right? The Sith Empire doesn't function as it did in vanilla and that amount of dramatic change gives Savosta some breathing room to do some proper soul searching, shorn of his master and previous loyalties. He'll certainly still never be welcomed back in Chiss space and, ultimately, Savosta realizes 'Sith' doesn't represent him - though he's still far from a Jedi, too. Savosta's likely apprehensive to attach himself to another order of Force users after his experiences as Sith pushed him so far and changed him so much (he won't pretend like he didn't give in to their ways of embracing anger and passions, after all, in the pursuit of often violent ends). The Alliance is probably one of the better places to call home he could ever find.

Perhaps his search for answers - who he is after everything, despite everything, because of everything he's been through - drove him to Zakuul to investigate their would-be enemy's way of doing things. That'd be an Alliance Alert meeting. A Commander that fights for peace in the galaxy could be exactly what he's looking for - a sort of neutral ground to do good without handing himself over completely to another order of ideals he may or may not truly believe or follow. On the other hand, a more DS-aligned Commander may make of him another tool, as he was before as an acolyte and apprentice of the Sith.

Wherever and however the Commander would meet him would be him essentially on a personal journey of self-discovery, trying to navigate life when you're feared and unwanted by the people who you used to believe were home and aren't sure of your path forward or the path you've walked. I guess you could arguably build a Galactic Seasons route on that as well and have him as the companion from that track. That might be fun! I'll have to remember to get him Amity from S4. I'm interested to see where that story goes.

Looking for: SMP map downloads over the years (2012-present)

basically, i am making a video centered around SMPs and primarily go over ones from 10 years ago VS ones now (the last 4-5 years to present).

in this video of course i want examples of (vanilla) SMPs through time and it would also just be good for my own research too aside from video content itself. so, what are some SMPs with map downloads available, particularly ones you likes watching or think are really epic maps overall? generally looking for downloads of SMP maps where there is a lot of build activity to look at.

the only SMPs i have watched were Mindcrack and Hermitcraft- i have Mindcrack s3 and s4, and Hermitcraft's are quite available so I'm not worried about those. I'd love to be exposed to other SMPs that are streamed/recorded- though any SMP that has something up there to download is cool too! Please, vanilla only (datapacks to tweak vanilla are fine).

Have a few simming friends who have been looking for a renovated high school lot lately, so I figured I'd finally share mine after teasing it last summer.

The lower level contains all the important rooms for active school gameplay - your two main classrooms, the cafeteria, office, and bathrooms, plus some change rooms if your teens are in need of a shower. It also has some bonus rooms that are mostly good for storytelling, like a staff room, conference room, and nurses' office.

Upstairs are the more hobby-based classrooms if you'd like your students to be productive while skipping class, featuring a fine arts room, a music room, science lab, computer lab, library and a bonus study space.

There is an extra whiteboard in the science lab, so you can reassign classrooms to your liking.

Lightly playtested, I have not actually done a lot of high school gameplay myself yet, but the times I have used it I haven't had any issues! CC-free, but heavily features a lot of the packs as most of my builds do. It can be downloaded on the gallery under the ID pixeldollhouse.
