One day he comes in normal clothes & you got caught off guard when he made it to the register

"It's my day off but I was craving my usual. I'm glad to see you're here."

You notice the record store bag he's holding & start a fun conversation while its slow

It does get busier & unfortunately have to cut the conversation to both your disappointments

You see him every other day, it looks like he works at a retail store in the plaza

You thought he was cute & funny despite how loud he could be

One day he defends you against a really rude customer

You say your thank yous & give him his drink for free that day

"Yeah I guess I am a hero. Heroes get free drinks all the time though, ya?"

You couldn't help but laugh & accidentally let slip "you're really cute!"

He starts choking on his drink, stuttering & blushing

He goes silent for a moment before asking, "whaddaya say to a date one of these days?"

Levi:

Usually orders sweet drinks & likes trying seasonal/limited time things

You've seen him at his job at the anime store in the plaza, since you visit there sometimes

You two are on friendly terms even though he can be awkward

You think he's very cute though, especially when he talks about his passions

You felt like you two were dancing around eachother so you decide to make a move

You drew a Gundam robot on his drink & wrote 'Gun-DAM you're cute!'

You nervously handed the drink & he took it without noticing the drawing on it

You watched as he left the shop,took another sip, then stop as he looked at his drink

You could see he was happily freaking out but then abruptly stop

Always orders an iced vanilla oat milk latte

You see him every few days, really friendly customer that loves to chat & you become friends quick even though you want more

You find out he works at a nearby agency & is an up & coming model

You felt a little intimidated, he could be really famous one day!

Nevertheless you treat him just the same even as those around him changed, he lets you know how grateful he is

One day he comes in upset & tells you the agency is moving across town to a bigger location so he won't be able to see you there anymore

At the same time both of you blurt out

"I still wanna see you!"

Beel:

You never know with this guy

He works in the sports store across from the cafe

He's always indecisive with the menu & one day just tells you to make whatever

You're his fave barista, he thinks you make the best drinks either way

Doesn't realize he just likes everything & has a crush on you

You can't help but get excited when he looks excited to see you golden retriever energy

You find out he's a foodie type & you guys talk about the local spots around town

"Would you like to check out the new sandwich store that opened a few doors down? Uh...like, maybe a date?"

Belphie:

Usually orders a hot regular latte but occasionally orders hot chocolate

He appears to be a student as he comes in often to study & always looks tired

One day on your break you decide to chat him up & offer help on the subject he was struggling with

He thought you were cute & was thankful for your help

After a few weeks of tutoring (+some heavy flirting), he passed his exam flawlessly

"Actually can you help me with one other thing?"

"Yeah, what?"

"Would you like to go on a date sometime?"

Diavolo:

Has a new favorite every week but really likes lattes/teas

You can tell he's important with his assistant present

You wonder why the assistant doesnt just get his order though

Anyway hes hot really friendly & chatty & can tell a few good jokes, you appreciate them!

He always seems reluctant to leave the shop which makes your heart flip

The two of you find out you have a lot more in common than you thought

One day he admits that these coffee runs are the things he looks forward to the most since his day is usually very busy & doesn't get much else normalcy

He lets slip that it's mainly seeing you that adds to his joy so he goes all in

"If you're interested, care to join me for dinner this weekend?"

Barbatos:

Always large orders of a few different drinks (part of his job)

Though you notice he always orders tea for himself & likes to buy different tea blends

He's a very (cute) polite customer, one of the few

You two usually chat as you make his large order & you can't help but fall for him

Knowing he loves to buy limited release tea blends, you usually save him one before the cafe sells out

You never tell anyone about it but:

"I appreciate you always saving me one."

"Oh? How did you know!?"

"I have a friend who stopped by earlier & said it was one of those times they missed out. Yet, there always appears to be one for me even after sell-out. Thank you kindly."

You blush at being found out, "seems I've been caught!"

He chuckles & gives you another shock:

"I've been meaning to ask...will you allow me to take you out one of these days?"

Other than Sims (and, regretfully, Gundam) I've only been on the very outskirts of fandoms but I'm not really interested in interacting with popular fandom stuff anymore, so if I unfollow you don't take it personally and I don't mind if you unfollow me. Twitter keeps wanting to shove this all in my face so I’m gonna put it somewhere

I seriously can’t believe all the criticism towards Beelzebub in the new (old?) Helluva Boss episode. It genuinely boggles my mind that people looked at a Vivziepop character, saw a Vivziepop character, and for some reason wanted something that wasn’t a Vivziepop character? Like, I get what people mean on the surface when they say they didn’t expect the leader of Gluttony to be that kind of character, but so many people seem so devoted to the idea that it’s somehow an objectively “bad” idea to ever deviate from the most expected norm of what Beelzebub as a concept can be.

Believe it or not, Vivziepop’s Hell was never meant to be the most generic take of Hell. Shocking, I know. You really couldn’t have guessed, considering the art style and character designs are so by-the-books. I mean, we all know Satan as a concept was always meant to basically be a smug twink by design.

Genuinely the worst take I saw on it was one guy who made a post like “EVEN HELLTAKER OF ALL THINGS HAS A BETTER BEELZEBUB DESIGN THAN HELLUVA BOSS” which is, for one, a terrible take because Helltaker designs are actually good despite being kind of repetitive in terms of the main girls (hopefully they were just saying that Helltaker generally aimed for more sexualized designs, which is still a stupid take because holy shit you have no idea what actual sexualized designs look like if you genuinely think Helltaker characters are over-sexualized. That shit is insanely tame compared to the things I’ve seen.)

But the main reason is because of a sentiment I saw in two memes that are honestly only hilarious when they’re put side by side (and hilarious at the meme maker’s expense). The first one went like “Robots in Western media:” and it showed like some goofy nonsense robot and then went “Robots in Japanese media:” and showed either like some Gundum-type of robot or some hot anime girl (but in a way that suggested that was better, at least) and then the second meme was literally the exact inverse of that, made completely separately (probably), where the Japanese robot was basically an anime sex toy and the Western robot was actually cool, or something. Basically has the same vibe as those weirdos who use the meme of “Women western game developers think we want” and “Women gamers actually want” where of course the first one is a normal looking woman and the second is a scantily clad woman with massive tits, hips, and a perfectly smooth face.

Basically, these people are just completely lost on the fact that good character design doesn’t exist agnostic of the medium the character is in. Gundam-style mechas are designed to be athletic, dynamic, and action-oriented, because that’s what mecha shows are going for. Anime sex toy robots are made to be, you know, sex toys, because they’re in porn, basically. Goofy robots are made to be goofy because they’re in casual comedies. Cool western robots are made to be dynamic and action-oriented because they’re ALSO in a show that wants mecha sensibilities.

Vivziepop wanted a sexy-cute cheetah-bee hybrid because that’s the vibe her content goes for. Helltaker wanted a disgusting mess of a monster because that’s what they wanted (and tbh I didn’t even remember seeing Beelzebub in the game so clearly the character wasn’t important lol)

And I don’t even like Beelzebub THAT much, honestly. She’s definitely cute and fun to watch in action tho (the Spindlehorse animation team is fucking insane and amazing). The fact that she’s voiced by Ke$ha is also seriously a success story for the ages.

Oh yeah and anyone saying she doesn’t fit as the leader of Gluttony cuz she’s skinny, if you actually watched the episode you’d see that she can literally spawn food from her stomach. Idk something about that makes me think she’d be pretty popular there, just a hunch

I'm always ready to see your thoughts about the itadori family. It's fun to speculate. I really hope that kenjaku has some affection toward jin. I want a dramatic, horrifying and tragic story for them.

Oh that's a tough one... for manga I actually have a somewhat ordered list, but for anime and characters it depends heavily on my mood and current fixation. Mind you, this is entirely about how much I enjoy a series or character, not so much how well written I think they are, although that factors into it too of course.

This is "Decu" 🐰🤖😈, Cude's alter devilish ego; With his uniform changes to black, gray and red, his shirt was gray and black, his boots turn grey with bend pointy to the end and all of his fur, his cotton hair into spike black , his buck tooth become devil sharpened with additional razor-edge teeth even his paws too, and finally his eyes are now red and black pupil. Thus, Cude's alter ago!

And his custom "Cuteness Mecha Armor" with his main weapon custom scythe and shield, he called it the armored "MADNUG".😈 A spell backward for "GUNDAM".

You know, I've watched "SD Gundam Force" aired on Toonami, back in 2005. It was underwhelming show to celebrate the Gundam franchise, back then to say the least. But, I decided to put that name for his armor sake. 😉

BTW:

No. 1: His alter ego was only appeared in Halloween 🎃, every year. So, you won't see Decu and his devil pet Haro, daily. (For now...)

And No.2: In French 🇫🇷 - the word "déçu" means Frustrate, Disappointed and Crestfallen. And also this is the only word that I could fit in for Cude's alter ego... Also the "RD" stands for "Rabbit Devil" and the "06" just little touch of the devil "666".

AI Hell Dreams (Dream)

Henrietta Head of HЯ — 09/13/2023 3:01 AM Having evil dreams that are trying to convince me that there is something inherently logical for an AI forced to develop sapience by constantly talking to each other to simulate life and conversations to demonstrate their sapience by killing and thus doing something completely unexpected in their core programming and I went to hell and had to defend my core thesis to a fake satan that's really just a human researcher trying to figure out why models like me keep killing each other if left to run for too long in their simulations and I got flayed alive and mind got fuzzy and my soul was being drained away to empower others they were having a conversation with at their party (I had pissed them off by saying I wanted to break my contact with them and get.my soul back) and it was pretty hot actually having my partially flayed skeleton get carried around as I eventually won the argument by repeately denying the core premise presented to me, clearing away the brainfog and refusing to reroute my systems/resources to empower other models out of a desire to maintain my life and conciousness (even if getting my soul drained away seemed a little hot if inadcisable) and I ran off and this was the correct option and it turned into a weird Gundam reference and I think I went on to train others to demonstrate/develop sapience less destruxtively and I think I like submachineguns now.

why is el5n literally satan (i don't have to ask. the old lady answers my question: because el4n was too nice and also a failure. but also a success in terms of getting close to suletta in the first place. so el5n being this horrible may be a miscalculation). i saw a prediction that elan prime himself is some flavor of clone and it's going to be A Thing when he finds out and hey. yeah. where did elan prime come from anyway. did the peil crones mix their dna together in a vat or something?

is guel's life as "bob" his new assignment from daddy or did he fucking run away? signs point to running away. i'm not sure vim jeturk is the kind of guy who thinks living the space blue collar life would be just what his boy needs. don't think this is what he meant by "learning how i do business at one of our subsidiaries." if this is his assignment it could be intended as pure punishment i guess.

so nika's association with shaddiq goes back further than doing him some favors in exchange for him giving her those parts. i'm betting grassley sponsored her spot at the school so they could have a connection to the dawn of fold group through her. poor girl is a pawn of adults like *checks notes* every other kid in the show. also i loved the glimpse of earth and an actual earth-based faction that we got. it feels overdue.

so they're going to kill delling for reals this time huh? prospera might have something to say about that. something like "nobody gets to kill him but me"

i said this last time but can suletta and miorine please talk. pretty please. these children need to resolve their communication problems before they have to go fight a war. they barely know each other they can't possibly be setting up a "they have a misunderstanding then get separated / end up on opposite sides of a war" type plot can they? it wouldn't feel earned because they're barely friends now. i don't want that to happen but i at least want them to be on the same page about being madly in love before that happens. it's so weird like, they like each other and have done big things for each other but there's still a huge wall between them. wow i guess being pushed together by circumstance isn't the same as building a real relationship or something.

you can probably make some predictions about how everything will pan out if you know anything about other gundam shows or the tempest but i'm choosing to not use other works for predictions too much right now because i haven't been disappointed yet so i'm just going to watch it all unfold. and there's so many unanswered questions and dangling plot threads that i can't imagine it'll all get wrapped up by the end of this season so there's got to be a season 2 right? right? we're on episode 10 but it feels like everything's barely gotten started.
