I feel like if Maul got a tooka it would have fixed him. Like not all the way but 50%. Lonely man needed a pet so badly.

Ohhhh he finds it on his trash planet. Mangy ginger tooka that steals things from him. He hates it. It keeps getting away from him. He is pre-spider legs and his grasp of the Force is mostly just keeping himself alive.

He starts calling it Kenobi. One day it shows up missing one of its back legs and Maul nurses it back to health. It starts bringing him rodents to eat after that. Both of them are sort of roommates. Then Savage shows up and Maul refuses to leave without Kenobi.

Savage: ... The Jedi isn't here brother...

Maul: KENOBIIII!!!

Kenobi: mrrr?
