Snape: *wincing seeing McGonagall almost get sliced by a hex but was relieved seeing Harry alive and Nagini dead* oh thank god! The horcruxes are gone. He is fallible now. Now stop dawdling and kill him you idiot Gryffindor.

Lily: *slack jawed in shock at being ignored again*

*Voldemort is killed and Snape throws his arms up like he is crazy*

Snape: I needed Dumbledore to trust me enough to let me aid him in defeating Riddle. That coot only understands the language of love. Nothing would move him more than a tragic love story. Foolish sentimental Gryffindor.

Lily: but that doe?

Snape: I can change my patronus at will. Have always been able to.

Lily: you told Harry about me. Gave him your memories.

Snape: as much as I detest that brat I do happen to have a heart. He would have needed a typical cliched reason to accept my help. And of course to clear my name. I didn't just go through all that shit to get villified for eternity. I am a Slytherin after all.

Lily: *stomping madly now* but then why did you do all this?

Snape: *sighing like he is explaining calculus to a two year old* Because it was the right thing to do. And because those idealistic fools couldn't have won the war without me. And also because I detest being manipulated and used. Which Riddle did. I wanted to defeat him. Kill him. In the most humiliating way.

Lily: *meekly* so this nothing for me?

Snape: *looking at her intently* why would you even think that I would sacrifice my life for a hypocrite of a standard less woman who decided to choose the easy way out. Who took me and my friendship for granted and cast me aside like I was a charity case. Who laughed at my pain and humiliation and then shagged my tormentor. Sorry to burst your bubble Lily but the world doesn't revolve around you. Get over yourself. The only feeling I have for you is pity. You were a brilliant bright witch who could have conquered the world if you wanted. But you decided to get married to a juvenile deliquent. and yet, she really didnt want too see him now, dressed in death eater robes and wandless, which meant she had to either kill him or send him to azkaban where he would be kissed to become a wretched shell of flesh. "dont worry, Lily, dementors only kiss bad wizards, the worst of them all" it was him who told her that and even then she had been horrified to think it was possible turn a person into nothing.

It had been him who had found her and had brought a world of magic into a playground in the very unmagical place that was Cokeworth. Now all she could do, as her wand shaked in her hand and blood dried in her face, was ask where had all gone wrong. Where the fantasy had turn so ugly and awful and they have had lost each other.

-before I change my mind.- She finished, through tears she looked at him, eyes watery and aflame with the fury of accepting to herself (and him) that she still cared, always.

I was gonna add a bit about James confronting lily on how he knows that she still worries about Snape and he is...surprisingly supportive of his wife´s horrible bf, I mean he still hates the creep but he doesnt want to reprimand her on her very complicated feelings (dont you just hate when your dear childhood friend joins a bigoted cult?) but I grew tired.
