verdict on Alien:
loved it. tres excellente. I feel like Ripley and I are kindred spirits. not as scary or gory as I thought it’d be! which isn’t a bad thing, necessarily, I was expecting a gorefest and wasn’t excited about that, and while there were definitely some bloody moments, it was a lot more discrete than I was expecting. very good, highly recommend.
anyone who thinks Ripley was stupid for going back for Jones the cat has never owned a cat. absolutely would risk life for cat even if it’s an asshole. Ripley has 0 blame in this decision, she could have gone back twice if Jones had escaped his little cage and still have no blame.

Am I the only one who doesn’t have a favorite Doctor? I always say 11 is my doctor, as in he’s the one who brought me into DW (first face this face saw 💜), but I couldn’t rank them if I tried. In the end, they all blow me away with their own interpretation of the character and their own quirks.
#I always start out being sceptical#and sometimes it takes a while for a doctor to grow on me#like 12. I needed a season. but now I every once in a while I watch his regeneration scene to feel sth lol#bc I absolutely love his principles. I even have the 'hate is always foolish and love is always kind' written on a light on my desk#I love this whole 'am I a good man' storyline#with 11 I loved the exploration of his arrogant and dangerous side#that man wanted his name to be heard all over the universe. he wasn’t as smiley and bubbly as everyone makes him out to be/ as he pretends#in german I’d say größenwahnsinnig#9 being this light and fighting his way back to optimism while holding so much darkness within#he was the least toxic imo. he never would’ve hurt his companions (which the others have. we must admit they’re kind of an ass at times)#13s biggest battle being the script and not getting enough characterization imo is kinda iconic bc she still managed to give us a doctor#she’s cute and bubbly but reckless/careless#she does things that get people/aliens killed or hurt and just goes on as if nothing happened#she’s closed off and cold. to her companions. to the people she saves. the one’s she fights.#don’t get me wrong yes she’s nice and funny with them all but that’s it. she can’t let anyone in and seems to be just running#and while I usually am not a fan of romance#Tenrose has my heart#the whole found family thing he had. the 'i need people or I become a monster'#the way they all found a different way to portray his anger and how he’s dangerous#9 was full of hate when he was angry#10 was like a fire burning to hot and that fire never really stopped burning not even in his calm moments imo#the flame just became smaller#11 was arrogant and cocky. he hit way below the belt and at times didn’t even care who he hit.#12 just wanted to be anything else than actually angry.#sure he was grumpy but actual anger only came out when he was forced by the ziogons or Me#only when lifes were at stake. no arrogance or similar.#doctor who

I am politely asking for a bit more on Königs son the angst is so yummy 🥺
König loves his baby boy... Until it starts to talk.
He absolutely adores the baby when it’s born, he can’t sleep at nights because he has to go and check if the boy is still breathing in the crib. König loves to hold him close and rock him in his lap, wants to give him baths and even changes the diapers, is so invested in the little chubby nugget that it’s a bit perplexing to see him so babbly cuddly towards someone who isn’t this poor Prince’s mother.
But when the boy doesn’t need him so much anymore, when he starts to show independence and express his own will, starts to walk and run and hide and talk back to him, it makes König uncomfortable.
He’s not in control anymore, he’s not needed. He’s the one who’s always away, he’s the unfamiliar face, the stern voice, the “strange man”, the one who makes the boy look angry or afraid. He becomes the bad guy.
It’s not bullying if his own son doesn’t prefer him, König knows it. But it still hurts to feel like an alien in his own home. It feels like a personal insult to be the last choice once again.
König’s son sees his father as a judge, a tyrant, a competitor because every time he’s home, mum’s all hearts and smiles. The parent who’s supposed to represent the whole world to our Prince suddenly becomes weak and clingy and needy.
And for what? For some big foreign man who stares him down as if he’s nothing but dirt under his boot. Asks him if he’s been nice to mum and if he’s helped her with the chores. When mum’s not in hearing distance, König tells him he shouldn’t trouble her with his crying and whining... If he’s nice and behaves, König will bring him toys from his “work trips”.
He rarely brings any because “he couldn't find anything”. Mum is the one who gets foreign delicacies, perfumes and the like. König’s son soon understands it doesn't matter how well he behaves because it will never be enough.
In his dreams, he tries to kill König every now and then. The old bastard only laughs. He laughs, even in his dreams because he’s weaker than him, not a threat at all, only entertaining when he gets mad… He laughs and just won't die.
Mum comes first, always. Whatever she says is the law. Whatever she wants, she shall have. The way his father worships this woman is eerie, disturbing, and invokes so much jealousy that König’s son is not sure who he’s even supposed to be jealous of. This stupid fucker or his mum who seems to lose brain cells every time this dick returns home and disturbs their peace?
Girls are both Madonnas and whores to him after he has watched this tyrant become a babbling, spineless mess over an upset woman. The world quakes everytime his mum is unhappy because her happiness is paramount. The only time he has seen König in tears was when his mum refused to talk to him one evening: the argument was about him, of course, and how König should apologize to their son, not to her. It takes manipulation and a passive aggressive lioness to make König say he’s sorry, but it does nothing to help the situation, quite the contrary. Who would give a fuck about a forced apology?
König’s son becomes a covert people pleaser who feels lonely wherever he goes. He’s a mama’s boy whose father seemingly hates him, an angel and a demon in one man, someone who believes his worth is measured by the things he achieves in life. How well he performs, how much money he makes, how independent he becomes. With women, another one always bites the dust, with work, he never seems to find his passion. And wherever he goes, whatever he does, nothing is ever enough.
The only way for these two to find a common ground is if the poor Prince manages to settle down with some patient, loving woman who gives him a child. A grandson or a granddaughter would make König fold and become a babbling mess once more; he's so pathetic and harmless with the baby that no one can be angry at him even if they wanted to. König would kill anyone and everyone who tried to hurt his family, even a blind man can see that.
Reconciliation happens slowly but surely, even if it's another kind of hurt to see the old man give this child all the love his son would've begged his knees bloody for. But beggars can't be choosers (and apparently a king's son has no crown), luckily König becomes softer in the head as he ages so a time may come when he thinks back on what he's done and finds the balls to wholeheartedly apologize. Might demand a touching family Christmas dinner and some whiskey though.

I know I have to work on the requests, but I have to get this out of my head because now I have a rediscovered love for Invincible, bear with it.
(SOMETHING LIKE A CONTINUATION OF THIS)
SOME SITUATIONS WITH YANDERE AU MARK GRAYSON/INVINCIBLE
okay, I can definitely see that you two were a couple or at least liked each other before everything went to hell.
and although you were fine with Mark at that time, when he was being convinced to join the Viltrum empire, he was somewhat seeking your approval. although using very vague assumptions, such as "would you accept an alien race if it meant world peace?" "or if that would help with the development of medicine?" You know, like what Nolan wanted to do at the beginning with Mark. and obviously since you didn't have the context you said yes without hesitation, further fueling Mark's crazy ideas.
I may not have made it very clear in the first part, but you and Nolan definitely don't get along. I mean, he's nice to you in a way, but he treats you like a little kid who needs discipline, so he tries to push Mark into that. Not only that, but you also indirectly blame him for the sudden change in Mark's personality, you know that if Nolan hadn't gotten him into that shit, he wouldn't have so much blood on his hands. The Mark you knew wasn't like that. HE WASNT.
The main reason this Mark doesn't feel angry because of your traditional escape attempts or why he's so soft is because of something our Invincible doesn't usually have, and that's his ARROGANCE. This Mark does not believe that you are capable of running away from him, you are not capable of defending yourself from him, you are not capable of harming him and above all you are not capable of HATE HIM, because he sees you as a soft creature, who should be treated as such because you are confused.
He is delusional, SpongeBob and Squidward level of Delusional. You could perfectly tell him that you hate him, that he's the worst thing that happened to you in your life... and he thinks it's reverse psychology.
"fuck you"
"Is that an invitation?😚"
"I hate you"
"I love you too babe🥰"
"If we were trapped on a desert island I wouldn't hesitate for a second to make a raft with your limbs"
"Silly you, I would take you out flying😘"
Do you see what I'm saying? For the same reason, if you end up hurting him, he would be proud that now you can definitely defend yourself from the Revolutionaries who "kidnap you every now and then" (it's you on the run). dang it, if you hurt him probably even NOLAN would compliment you for doing it despite being "so weak" and would completely approve of you.
(I can already imagine you with a wedding dress and a bouquet of knives...you want to throw it at Mark...in the face)
I think the most Mark does to scare you into escape scenarios is to threaten to throw you and not catch you next time, that's the best he goes. He can't stand the idea of leaving you paralyzed because it would be very boring and sad to see only a shell of you.
He wouldn't kill Eve, but he would never hurt you...physically. Did you see that in the end in their universe they manage to imprison him and get rid of Omniman? you totally didn't let go of Fem! Cecil(Cecilia?) all the way to her base and thanking her with all your heart and tears. Cecilia comforted you awkwardly, but she understood that you must have definitely had a hard time with Mark.
Meanwhile, with Mark already locked up, even if the world is a bit messed up, you can breathe easy for the first time in years, you can leave the base without fear of what happens to the people around you, you can eat without a problem, you can CHAT with people! it's magic! It's like you don't even remember anything before Mark! out of pure fear!
Meanwhile, Mark in prison always asks about you AT LEAST once a day, even if they give him proof that you are WELL and HEALTHY, he just doesn't believe it and DEMANDS to see you to prove it, which they obviously deny him and only makes him think that even more. The guy thinks you must be dying of hunger and cold or being eaten by collotes while you live your best life🤣
"MY POOR BABE! She must be so confused and scared without me! How do I know they're not torturing her for information!? She must be so worried because we're not getting home!" and it goes on and on... meanwhile Darling: "happy~ happy~happy~" "OHHHOOOhhOO, I'M SO FUCKING HAPPY!"
For now that's all. I hope the Viltrum empire doesn't come to shit on Darling's happiness☠️

Krolia
Alright, I just had a thought.
I get that it's a major plot point that Krolia is part of the Blade of Marmora, but what if she was just another soldier?
What if she had been heading to Earth as a Galra soldier, and was shot down by a Blade member?
And then Keith's dad saves her!
So after that, she either decides to change after falling in love with him and realizing that destroying planets is killing innocent people like this man, oooor she continues to fight for the Galra.
If she continued with Galra, then she most likely would reunite with Keith in a battle, or at least see his picture in some battle briefing and be like, oH CRAP THAT'S MY KID.
And then if we continue on this path, then Keith would see her, and she tells him who she is, either mid-battle to throw him off, or to tell him why she won't kill him.
And if she were to do it mid-battle, Keith would be absolutely crushed and either have a character development arc in which he pushes back his feelings of betrayal and hurt and defeats her, or he gets distracted and she manages to injure him.
If Keith defeats her himself, (and this is all during fighting her) then right before she passes out/ dies they would have a moment where either Krolia apologizes, or tells Keith that he was a the best and worst mistake she's ever made, and either way she would tell him that she's proud of him.
If Keith were to get hurt by her, Lance would shoot her down and rush over to Keith. There would be one of those moments where character A is like dying, and character B places character A's head on their lap and like cries while character A is making some heartfelt speech and giving them a bunch of cliché advice, you know?
And then Keith passes out, and the team is there by then to rush him back to the castle and he makes it.
And then he breaks down when the reality of what happened with Krolia hits him.
And he has a moment with one of the paladins, BUT ONLY ONE OF THEM. More than one other paladin ruins the moment, don't ask me why, it just does.
And then if Krolia were to be still alive (This is assuming that the 'I'm proud of you' moment never happened), then she would rise up in ranks until when Zarkon dies, she's the empress. Haggar and Voltron think that she's controlling Krolia, so Haggar is targeted by Voltron and the coalition.
They CANNOT defeat her, no matter what they do, but then Krolia takes her out in order to gain full power of the Galra empire, and everyone's just SHOCKED. Krolia doesn't even do it in secret, this is like a full-on battle and she goes, "Bold of you to assume that you EVER controlled me, Witch. The only one who valued you was Zarkon, and that made him weak."
And then she straight-up stabs Haggar and leaves the battle saying to the paladins, "We've both won this battle. Now go. We all know that you are outnumbered here."
AND THEN instead of the whole Honerva thing, it's them against Krolia.
Keith would most likely be the one to kill her. Or maybe Krolia would have the same ending as Honerva! Though if that were to happen, then Allura can still sacrifice herself.
And throughout this, KLANCE exists. Allurance shippers can BACK OFF. ALLURANCE. NEVER. HAPPENS. AND NO. I am NOT adding Allurance to my computer's dictionary so that it will stop autocorrecting me, because the only ship that belongs in the dictionary is KLANCE.
*deep breaths*
Thank you for reading my Ted Ta- oh who am I kidding, thank you for reading my rant.

btw, does anyone else simp for Matt and that robot-masked alien girl??? Like, oh my goodness it is SO CUTE. In the clear day episode, (the one where Shiro wins the arm-wresting competition) the girl is INCLUDED IN THEIR FAMILY PICTURE. NO JOKE. LOOOOK!!!
Tumblr media
MATT'S GOT A GIRLFRIEND!!!!
Sorry about that. I live for this kind of stuff.

If there's spelling errors, (at least more than usual) then feel free to correct me. I'm typing really aggressively right now, which usually leads to a WHOLE lot of mistakes. So, oops.

Everlark (Mockingjay, Ch. 13-14)
"i cover my face with my arms because this isn't happening. it isn't possible. for someone to make peeta forget he loves me... no one could do that" - she was so sure, so certain of peeta's love for her that this concept is completely alien to her. something she never saw coming. in the last chapter she felt jealous that what annie/finnick had, no one would doubt over its certainty - but she herself had that with peeta and now it's... fragile
katniss is so heartbroken teenage girl, covering/uncovering her face with her arms depending on what's being said and how much it's hurting her
katniss's desire to kill sow is kicked into overdrive because of what he's done to peeta. like that was truly her last straw.
(an aside: delly is a delight)
"it was less painful being strangled" oh katniss
it's so sad to see katniss numb after her being so anxious/angry/distraught over peeta being in the capitol and also her brief elation at having him back.
katniss coming to terms with the hijacking is so sad. a huge part of her is definitely catastrophizing though (like i don't blame her for it at all). but of course she is, because is truly a horrible twisted thing to happen and it takes her previous heartbreak and twists it more. but she goes straight to worst possible scenario which is: i'll never get peeta back, peeta is gone, so i'm gonna shut down and kill snow and then die myself
"it's only now that he's been corrupted that i can fully appreciate the real peeta. even more than i would've if he'd died. the kindness, the steadiness, the warmth that had an unexpected heat behind it" - she's fully mourning him, instead of fighting for him, because it's like all the fight has been taken out of her because of the hijacking
"the unexpected heat" behind peeta's warmth. more of what intrigued her about him, what set him apart.
her clutching the pearl trying to remember peeta as he was just kills me. i can't do it.
she spent the first book trying to make out like their kisses were tv kisses but here she's fondly remembering and trying to hold onto "the kisses in the arena"
"to make myself put a name to the thing i've lost" -it's their love, their bond, their intimacy that's just too great and beyond this earth to even put words to
"despite what i feel for peeta, this is when i accept deep down that he'll never come back to me. or i'll never go back to him. i'll stay in 2 until it falls, go to the capitol and kill snow, and then die for my trouble. and he'll die insane and hating me. so in the fading light i shut my eyes and kiss gale to make up for all the kisses i've withheld, and because it doesn't matter any more" - this is so heartbreaking, i don't even know where to begin. she's lost her hope entirely. and she's acting out of a desperate need to feel something, anything because she's so numb and hopeless.
i almost feel bad for gale because this kiss is so clearly katniss not in her right mind.
gale saying that he had a life outside of hunting with her. maybe it's him trying to save face but throughout this book and the last, it really feels like their friendship was just confined to the woods. the fact that they don't already know these things about each other? what did they talk about except for hunting and hating the capitol? does gale know katniss's favourite colour? does she know his? does she know anything about his habits apart from how he treads silently when he's hunting and how his hands set snares? what do they actually know about each other?
her completely emotionless at him telling her when he realised he liked her... it's very unromantic compared to peeta's own story of his crush on her. and we know katniss is a huge romantic. she's probably just like.. "oh so you saw some guy flirting with me and felt jealous and decided i should be yours? oh okay then. right"
something something about gale feeling an entitlement to katniss due to their history and shared trauma and what people expected vs peeta seeing her qualities and her singing and her boldness and her light. gale was always the easy choice, gale was the settling choice. change my mind
i know katniss had questioned whether gale was jealous of her and finnick being around eachother but he actually confirms it here. like gale is seeing finnick walking around dazed without pants on, tying and untying knots in the same piece of rope, having to be sedated when he thinks of annie in the capitol, and somehow genuinely thought that that man really had an eye on katniss, was flirting with katniss?! actually a bit crazy. sure gale is a complicated character, but this part of him is so revolting to me that it overshadows so much else. i don't despise him but i don't like him at all.
not to turn this post into a gale and katniss post but he's a key part of this chapter and we might as well compare and contrast - his death traps. katniss is quite clear on what she thinks about them. and he just goes from worse to worser in this book particularly. and in the next chapter, katniss even mentions that she wishes the old peeta was there to explain why the whole idea is so wrong.

frankly I don't understand why clark continues to think lex would react badly to his secret after shattered/asylum and works against him so he won't remember it. because the show never gives us a valid reason for his fears which isn't directly contradicted by something shown to the audience.
does he think that lex will hate him for failing to rescue him? except that clark tells him that later and lex forgives him right away
does he think lex will tell the world about his powers? his dream in "slumber" seems to indicate so, except that lex kept his secret while rotting in belle reve in a month, even when offered the opportunity to escape, and never has the inclination to tell anyone else even when he discovers it and tries to kill clark at the end of s7. even evil!lex in onyx didn’t threaten to tell anyone, just cursed his own blindness and wanted to use clark for his own ends.
does he think that lex will react badly to him being an alien? except that lex only started growing fearful of alien threats after being possessed by zod in s5. before that he was simply driven by obsessive curiosity about the meter showers and connections to the kryptonian symbols, he never displayed any fear or prejudice. he told clark he's always wanted to meet an alien back in s2 and clark just scowls like he thinks he's being facetious? I can understand that because there's a difference between being able to accept something in theory and in reality, but it reminded me of the scene where lana tells clark she finds the idea of him being bulletproof comforting and clark still chooses to keep lying to her. he ignores even the most blatant signals of 'it's okay you can trust me' and to an extent the breakdown of his relationships is his fault because of this
does he think that lex will sell him out, especially to his father? except that lex warned clark about lionel after dr walden raved about clark being the key to the caves in front of them. and after nixon, lex was always protective and actively tried to direct people's attention away from clark. and he rescued clark from lionel/summerholt's clutches in memoria even having no idea why he was there. and clark not only worked with lionel in memoria (which resulted in him being betrayed and captured at summerholt) but worked with lionel again after he told him he reformed in bound, so it's not that.
does he think lex will hate him forever for lying to him? this one is more valid, I admit, because we do see lex getting more and more bitter over this as it goes on. and there is a scene in s2 where he tells clark that he never forgives people who lie to him or something of that nature. but there's also a lot of scenes in the early seasons where lex can clearly tell that clark is blatantly lying to him about something and lets it slide. I don't know if this is clark's inobservation and paranoia popping up again, or if he's deluded about how good he is at keeping his abilities from lex's notice and genuinely believes he has no idea clark isn't normal (chloe even points out his denial of this with lana in "lockdown", so I think this is actually pretty likely).
but then the way the show treats lex knowing about clark's abilities in s5 onwards is just so weird. they try to backpedal and write lex as more clueless whenever they're writing him eviler, and it treats him having suspicions like it's immoral and a threat to clark regardless of what he does with them. haven't the writers ever heard the phrase "the cat's out of the bag"?
it's a good character flaw for clark to have, and the idea that it's all a misunderstanding is actually really interesting! but the thing is the show doesn't commit to that. it never has clark learn his lesson or accept that his lying and refusing to trust lex hurt him, even when tess tries to call him out on it later (and considering that she was the one behind the memory-wipe in the finale, she clearly came to believe that lex knowing anything was too dangerous as well). it's all so aggravating for the waste. why write the main characters like this if you're never going to acknowledge that you did so?

Worm 12.4 is so incredibly important to me. It has so much in that one chapter that I love.
Below is me gushing over the characters for the chapter where Jack cuts Tattletale's mouth.
We get to see the Slaughterhouse Nine with their cruelties of what's to come. Detailed explanations on their tests that our protagonists are going to have to go through. We also get to see the dynamic between four of them. Cherish tries to make herself the center of focus only for that to turn around on her when Jack makes her show Manequinn's test. After that she goes and tries to get the Siberian to kill the Undersiders. Jack is there to enjoy the ride. He wants to see where he can get his entertainment from and he basically throws a tantrum when Tattletale ruins it. The Siberian is just there to be used as a threat by her teammates. The invincible cannibal who will make any resistance pointless if she decides to intervene. Then the creeping horror that is Bonesaw, how even you die she can also bring you back. But she's also the one that wants the tests to be fair and have rules and she enforces this by casually having a city wide plague already in the water.
There's Bitch, who once again doesn't tell the Undersiders what happened when she was alone. And once again it threatens to alienate her from the group. It lingers in Taylor's mind, but when it comes to Bitch's mind this meeting probably helps to push the S9 into an enemy for her. Cherish tries to play the mind games she hates, Jack admits to playing a mind game on his own teammate which she absolutely hates, and all throughout the Siberian doesn't say a thing to her. Jack also hurts one her teammates and that would piss her off. Just one meeting for any thought of joining the Nine to go out the window, but bc we're in Taylor's mind it stays as a concern for the reader.
Then you got Regent and we get a fun throwback to Bakuda where he starts a conversation with the horrifying murderers. His insults to Cherish while appealing to Bonesaw is him trying to make himself the more likeable sibling. He once again manages to get critical info for Tattletale to make her move while also pushing back their executions. And when their usual shtick fails, Regent is instantly by Tattletale's side trying to stop the bleeding. He does care for them, even if he can't fully grasp it.
Grue stays quiet. He's once again in a situation where he can't do anything. No matter how strong he trains the best he can do is just being there, insulting the Nine to try and get their attention and he fails. When Taylor doesn't know what to do he just silently takes her place, letting the others talk as he himself doesn't know what to do. Grue just tries to there and has to hope that it's enough.
You have Tattletale in her element. She tries three times to get Jack to find entertainment in them so that he doesn't kill them then and there and she gets her mouth cut for it. It's even meant to kill her, but instead of backing down she goes all in. Bleeding out she makes a deal that Jack finds interest in and he basically takes it. Then to cap it all off you have her push Taylor to go. Go, leave her to save her dad and warn everyone she can. Fucking peak Lisa, not letting Taylor in because it would hurt too much.
Sundancer is just a bystander. She's just as scared as everyone there and is probably marveling at at they're even managing to talk to the Nine. When Tattletale gets injured she's actually there with Regent to try and help her, but when Tattletale goes to make her deal with Jack she's just a bit slow until she catches up to help. It's this repeating thing where Sundancer absolutely hates that this is her life and she probably hates how quickly she can jump into it.
Finally Taylor. Taylor the hopeful Worm, getting called that at last. In the face of the Siberian appearing she thinks of a plan, when she learns that Shatterbird is going to sing her thoughts go to her dad and her people, but Lisa gets injured and she stops. She's late to stopping the bleeding because Lisa's blood is splattered on her. Jack is saying she'll die and Taylor doesn't know what to do. Then when Lisa leaves it to her to finish the deal with Jack her ability to analyze the situation comes into play. She seen that Jack and Bonesaw are the two most important to get the Nine on board so she says it'll be interesting and that the game will be fair. And with the Nine gone she's has to decide between staying with Lisa or warning her dad and others about Shatterbird and again she freezes. Despite all the claims that Taylor behaves to clear minded in insane situations, she really doesn't. She just places far more value in her friends than herself so when it's her being hurt she can still operate but when it's her friends she just wants to leave with them. It's only with Lisa reassuring her that she goes and does something incredibly heroic.
This is after they leave the villain alliance making them the underdogs again. Before Taylor's fight with Manequinn where she wins because her people intervene to help her. Some of the absolute best of the Undersiders and Worm in general. I only wish Imp was here as well.

What I want, what I wanted, but I know I’ll never get and the words “heir to the empire” have only cemented this as 100% not happening anymore
(fair warning that this is directly pulling from details from the Thrawn and Thrawn Ascendency books)
Ezra, furious and hurt and just barely eighteen makes the purgill attack the chimaera, makes them grab and break and pull it into hyperspace, makes them disappear into Wild Space. They crash into an unknown planet far from the know galaxy. Luckily, it’s habitable for humans, and slowly the surviving Chimaera crew wakes up, as do Thrawn and Ezra.
Stuck with nowhere to go, Ezra begrudgingly has to cooperate with the crew. Thrawn is furious with him, but practical (with a little bit of help from bridge crew to calm him down), and they don’t even like, jail Ezra. This is wildly confusing to Ezra, but in a good way, but he knows that even with the weird free trust he’s being given he still has to stay with them because no matter how good a Jedi, he can’t live on a completely unknown planet alone, let alone get off it without at least using the crash salvage
Slowly, Ezra begins to vaguely trust some of the chimaera crew. Not Thrawn, he’s still so suspicious of him, why is he doing this, why does he seem… so different than Ezra is used to? And he can’t forget how thunderously angry Thrawn during their first interaction after the crash. He’s calm now, but he was so angry. Why? When will it come back??
Eventually, things change. For a while there’s weird, rebuilding and building a new life vaguely, looking at if the bits of the chimaera can be salvaged to contact someone (but also knowing that none of the stars are familiar, they are so far from knowledge, who would they even manage to contact in this area?).
But the surviving chimaera crew ends up splitting, imperial loyalists finally having enough of the casual disregard for regulations and punishment Thrawn et al have been showing in regards to Ezra, as well as just… generally getting fed up and sick of listening to Thrawn et al when they’re letting Ezra be chill.
Unfortunately, the Thrawn loyalists (aka, the people on Ezra’s side) end up outnumbered because it’s hard to compare “previous loyalty to a man who literally is letting the guy who got you stuck here roam free and even asking for his help with shit and this guy is also an alien and the vast majority of imperials are xenophobic even if they’d grown to respect him it’s hard not to fall back given the extra hating circumstances” to “I am stuck on a completely unknown planet and it’s literally their fault”. This all leads to a split in factions of survivors, with Thrawn and loyalists being essentially run out of camp lest they be killed, and Ezra stuck going with them because somehow (it’s still baffling to him) this is the group that wants him dead the least.
In a far, far locale, skywalker Un’hee begins, pretty immediately after the battle of Lothal, to be plagued with dreams. Not all bad, most just kinda weird, but soon she starts seeing scenes of war and destruction and scenes of crash and desperate survival on an unfamiliar planet. The whole thing from start to finish is weird for her because it’s mostly humans, and some other aliens she’s never seen before, so how are they in her head? But when the worse dreams start, and then get worse, and then when she finally gets the crash landing dreams that are filled with a deep sense of “come help us come find us you’re the only one who can find us”, she ends up talking (crying) to Eli about it.
And he’s like. Ummmm. That sounds sus. I am… concerned. Because when she describes it, he knows she’s talking about humans. And it even sounds like empire humans. And maybe even his imperial colleagues. Who Un’hee really shouldn’t know???
So they go talk to Ar’alani, who promptly goes OH FUCK ME SIDEWAYS WITH A FRUIT STICK and calls up Thalias, Che’ri, and Samakro (of whom Samakro definitely should have his name changed, and Che’ri almost certainly too).
Between the 6 of them and Vah’nya, with talks with Ba’kif and the rest of the CDF and CEDF, they end up sending a small search party for Thrawn et al. Un’hee and Eli for sure, possibly other big names, possibly minor support characters (like crew for a ship Eli gets out in charge of) or possibly literally just Eli and Un’hee. The ascendancy did, after all, kick Thrawn out. And they are, after all, relying on a 9 year old’s visions. And even though it’s happened before, that’s really dubious ground to stand on for committing resources to, especially when shit is dangerously close to hitting the fan in the ascendency itself then as well.
Cue lots of space adventures for both parties, as Eli’s party travels from the Unknown Regions to wherever the fuck Thrawn+Ezra’s ended up, dodging plenty of people against the chiss and probably some people with history with Eli (he’s not… really a friend to the empire anymore lmao), Eli trying to keep Un’hee safe and hidden, Un’hee trying desperately to follow her visions to the right places, and meanwhile the looming threat of the grysks hangs in the back of their mind that they really need to get back, they really need to bring Thrawn back, etc.
Thrawn and Ezra’s party on the other hand are basically in the show Manhunter: Lethal Space Edition. They’re trying to survive on the unknown world with the small amount of supplies they were able to snag on their way out, knowing that the planet also holds the hostile rest of the star destroyer’s crew, and knowing they have no way off and away except by finding and fixing/smashing together chimaera crash salvage. Maybe they get off the planet before Un’hee finds them, and they have their own road trip adventures too, maybe Un’hee and Eli find them there, doesn’t matter.
The two groups eventually meet, and things begin to come to a boil. The grysks have had all this time to make moves on the Ascendancy, and they might even be setting up in the Empire too now, if they’ve decided it’s worth it. Something dramatic probably has to happen to convince Ezra he’s needed there more than back in the Empire (tho the kid getting visions of his past and present is probably also a big factor, as is the “child girls are actively being kidnapped and held in forced labour for a species/legion/whatever hellbent on quiet takeover of everything ever in existence anywhere”) also, he’s been living on the “run” with Thrawn and co. for months now, and likely they’ve talked and come to some amount of understanding, especially re: previous actions done to each other and each other’s friends and family and factions.
The combined group heads back to the Ascendancy (possibly dropping off some Thrawn loyalists at other locales if they aren’t fully committed to going to help the ascendancy, but that all depends on the size of the Thrawn+Ezra group in the first place), and they have to deal with the grysks and likely a large amount of very very very bad problems that have occurred since Eli and Un’hee left. This (in additional to whatever amount of time it took for the two groups to meet in the first place, which itself could be like, a whole year) takes up the 4-5 years between Death Star and Rebels epilogue/Ahsoka show. Explaining why Ezra hadn’t come back yet by the epilogue time, because he’s busy fighting the grysks and helping the skywalkers and etc.

guardian ep1 here goes nothing
i'm watching this at the behest of my lovely friend @oneiro-nautical so that's whose fault it is if i get really annoying about it <3 i've been reliably informed this will kill me and it will hurt the whole time i'm dying! sounds fun let's go!
opening credits a pleasant blend of corny and cool as hell. cdramas we are SO back baby. also this song kinda slaps
whoaaa aliens? this is so much all at once
HEYYY PRETTYBOY
aw that's a baby. i've seen him before. he's the one constantly getting menaced by the scary buzzcut guy in the crack videos
HEYYYYY PRETTYBOY 2
oh he needs to have something in his mouth does he. eheheh. eheheheheh
kitty!
i love all these people already. two beautiful women one catboy and one idiot. i'm a sucker for a motley crew
okay what on earth is going on with that cat. half the time it looks fine if slightly frazzled and half the time it is cg'ed to hell and back and it's kinda creeping me out ngl
this poor kid he's just a baby don't be mean to him >.<
OUGH the way shen wei's face went slack when he did that double take. the way you have no context for the look in his eyes but you just know it is absolutely devastating. the way zhao yunlan looked lightning struck and had to get away so fast. this is delicious
THE TENSIONNN
the way he didn't want to let go T-T
oh shen wei is in love. i'm calling it. those are the eyes of a man made of yearning
the shadow figure has an ass. this is fine
i snorted water out my nose. who is this tiny guy. i love cdrama action sequences
i'm gonna have a really hard time taking buzzcut man seriously if he fights with funky lil puppet dolls. also his voice isn't nearly as deep and gravelly as i imagined. huh
TEN THOUSAND YEARS? OUUUUUHHHHHH
poor li qian. i hope her situation gets better over the course of the show. she's in a really tough spot.
whoever plays shen wei is awfully good at acting with his eyes!!!
on the rooftop in a magic hurricane and the shadow figure is standing in place doing stock attack animations like a video game character
got spoiled a bit so ik the black cloak envoy is shen wei but is that supposed to be not obvious? it seems really obvious
ohhh the credits are doing one of my favorite things (behind the scenes footage from filming) it’s so cool look at them all go
in conclusion im enjoying myself mightily. it’s so silly but it’s got so much heart to it. also shen wei has a pair of the most expressive eyes ive ever seen. good for him bad for future me i guess. will continue to watch apace

Round 2 - Resurrect Bracket (Losers Bracket) Side B
Tumblr media
ashes to ashes, dust to dust; in sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to [make it to the finals]
Propaganda below ⬇️
Pastry
GOD girlie gets a vision of the past showing her the truth of her and all cookies creation, and chooses to keep believing the lies she was fed because she doesn’t know any other way
this girl SO TRAUMATIZED IT’S UNREAL. She’s on the tipping point from cult victim to cult persecutor and it hurts sooooooo bad. So Cookie Run Kingdom Tower of Sweet Chaos spoilers but it’s unclear what happened to her to make her join, or if she was born into it, or something else, but it *is* clear that she’s completely unaware of modern society outside of the Order and is 100% convinced this is how all Rational And Correct people act (hint: It’s Not) so she acts all confident and rational but she’s actually paranoid as FUCK. She’s constantly quadruple checking every single thing she does, every single thought she has and emotion she feels, to make sure it’s in line with the Order’s expectations of her. She wants that praise and affection SO BAD because everyone’s literally SO connection starved!!! And to make it worse, she’s sent on a mission to purge all the Cakes living around the Oven the Cookies & Cakes were created in, and on it she encounters the overarching antagonists (this is so in depth but it’s literally a micro-plot the lore of this game is INSANE. Sprawling fantasy, political drama, CRK is incredible) and is made aware of the fact (along with the player, whom probably is flipping their shit) that THE COOKIES WERE CREATED BY THE WITCHES SO THEY COULD *EAT THEM.* So her entire life has been shattered but also she’s still under the impression that THIS IS ALL SHE HAS. From her perspective it’s either this or she becomes what she thinks is a terrible horrible evil worst person on Earthbread Ever. So she goes back and she’s like Reverend Mother (real name) I found out the most horrible thing. And her superior is like Ah. *I know.* And she convinces her that she’s learnt some horrifying secret that nobody else can know otherwise it’ll hurt them too, so SHE STAYS AND GETS WORSE. It drives me CRAZY this place is so bad. This is in motherfucking COOKIE RUN KINGDOM. This game is so dark and graphic it’s unreal. Also literally everyone in the Order is a girl for some reason and it’s never explained why??? Do they not recruit men??? If they’re self sufficient what do they do with the men??? Do they kill them??? Do they convince them they’re Actually Just Girls But Different??? Neither would surprise me at this point like actually
hope she explodes
She’s a cookie nun belonging to an order that worships the witches who baked the cookies. She later learns that cookies were baked to be eaten and that all this time she’s been worshipping MONSTERS AND HAS A FAITH CRISIS. RELIGIOUS TRAUMA AF
Kyoko
Smthing something search up Kyoko's backstory on youtube. Her magical girl uniform is based off a priest's cassoc. Her priest dad tried to kill her for heresy (alien magic). She tries to convert her friend away from magical girl slaying. Friends with the other ex-catholic in the area (Homura). When she dies, all she's left with is the ability to pray for her and her friend's salvation away from their shitty lives.
spoilers ahead. she made a wish for her father's sermons to be listened to. it worked but then he found out about it and killed her entire family and then himself. so there's obviously a lot of baggage there.

Look no offense to the Jean fans and who say Jean can beat Wanda. Maybe she can, but if there’s anyone I prefer to be the strongest, it’s Wanda.
Wanna know why?
Wanda’s weakness is the people she loves.
It’s not herself. Not really. She does have a moment where she is afraid of her powers but she conquers it. And the strength of Wanda’s powers, and I admit I’m basing what I see in the movies but even what I’ve read of her, seems to lie in the people she love.
When she loses people, her grief strengthens her.
She’s a lot like Magneto in that way which is why I refuse to accept the retcon of her NOT being Magneto’s daughter because it’s this aspect that makes Wanda compelling and tragic. If you want an all-powerful character, you want one whose weakness AND strength lies in the heart.
But Jean?
I’m basing this ALL in the movies but it baffles me how this girl can turn against the people she loved even the ones who’ve raised her since a child.
I get Charles lied to her and she’s confused. Perhaps she believes Charles manipulated and used her. Most likely yes. But to cruelly treat Charles the way she does in Dark Phoenix by forcing him to walk what with his legs not being able to have any feeling letting his entire weight break his bones because of the lack of muscle and nerve movement, the lack of connection he has from his brain to his legs. And then breaking his wheelchair.
Okay I get it, she was twisted by the evil alien but that evil alien comes after. It wasn’t like someone was slowly turning her against the Professor who is probably the closest thing to a dad she has.
Just mind-boggling to me the personality change.
A timid girl who goes from being scared to kill and hurt people to killing and hurting people like nothing in a span of minutes all because she absorbed a cosmic entity that broke the walls the Professor put up in order to protect her from her own trauma...
She goes on saying she doesn’t want to hurt people and she’s scared to... and then she does it. And then she questions why people are afraid of her?
I just don’t understand Jean Grey and maybe that’s why I find it hard in me to sympathize or even LIKE her. I really don’t. She’s a boring character to me, whose badly written... at least in the movies. The only thing that seems to stand out for me is that she’s a pretty redhead who Scott has the hots for (and in the original X-Men movies, Logan has the hots for though tbh I didn’t mind her in X-Men 1 and 2. I thought her character growth was great there until X-Men 3 came around) and everyone is scared of her.
I like X-Men Evolution Jean Grey best tbh. She was my favourite character.

Hello! I don't know if you want to hear a ramble like this, but I need to put it out XD
So I am slowly catching up to the jjk manga ( chapter 222) and I took a totally different understanding of the so called yorozu's gift to Sukuna.
You see, must people says it something to help Sukuna, but I don't think so.
Here is the think, the gift might be absolutely nothing. But if it something usable I think it would gravitate to something that would nerf him down.
Why? Because she wanted him. She was egotistical, she didn't care what Sukuna wanted, if he had goals or not. She wants him to her.
She wanted to kill him, to hurt him (and marry him?) So I did not take it as a positive gift if it usable.
So my take is:
Either nothing, just some... dust? Idk fragments of her?
Or something that would weight him down.
Love, especially this one is not always about improving someone. It can be ugly and selfish and why not, hurt the beloved.
That it. That's my take XD
Thank you for reading!
Sorry for answering late. I'm a bit scattered recently.
I'd love for that to be the case, for her gift, her love weigh him down.
That together with all the adoration he's been receiving.
I agree that the love she has for him is egoistical. She loves him as a concept, as a king and as a powerful ce user. She literally refers to getting sliced by him as something sexual.
But what she wants from him the most, at least how it comes across to me, is the position of being his wife. Which is very Heian thinking of her, since back then women were defined by the men in their families.
And she wants him to be a man she can mold to her liking. she instantly assumes his bored face is a hallmark of loneliness. loneliness she could fix. this is why you shouldn't do heterosexuality, kids. you shouldn't view a potential partner as a project. but this is what the heterosexual lifestyle promotes.
The rest I will put under a read more because idk if you're caught up by now.
So far in the act of adoring him, everyone projects onto Sukuna their own desires. Maybe that's why he thinks that love is trash?
This is especially funny when it comes to Gojou who whined about how people adored him and thus created a rift between them and him and that's why he was lonely... and then he goes and does the same thing to Sukuna who he supposedly wanted to connect to. (of course Gojou couldn't connect to others because he was doing everything to alienate them)
if you've read till the end, what do you think about it seeming like Yorozu's gift was a weapon?

BOTW AU junk I cant stop thinking about
Peach never takes her hair down, and if she does, its in secret. Plum one day catching her without her tell-tale braid, just melting, she's got so much hair, and it needs to be played with-STAT! Peach quickly learns about a thing she never knew she wanted, going from 'don't you dare play with my hair' to 'can you do it for me?' overnight, took one evening of having hands in it to break that in the big woman.
Plum totally puts flowers in it some days.
Little Plum before the pair left Kakariko Village, nabbed a disguise for her big companion, so she could blend in a bit more while on the road. A Yiga member wears their uniform at all costs, it's kind of a thing, they're really strict about it, and are told not to remove the mask or gear unless in perfect secrecy with your own family. Upon learning about this, Plum rubs it in Peach's face that she caught her with that initial arrow and the bigger woman immediately took her mask off. Peach countering with 'you would too if you were in that much pain! It's hot under there! Shut up-' getting embarrassed, an unusual trait in her.
The mask eventually takes one hit too many, cracks in half, Peach tends to block with her face sometimes. She goes to throw it away, an end of an era, the end of who she use to be, but Plum pockets it, it was the first thing she saw of the woman, and to her, it has sentimental value. Peach doesn't mind, finds it quite sweet in a strange way.
Nights in cute towns, renting rooms off Inn keepers, safe, warm, horses cared for, everything is fine. Plum gets a moment to trace the tattoos and scars that litter this woman's body, they get a moment of peace not stressing about surviving or who may or may not be hunting them. Peach tries not to feel guilty that somehow she got this little Sheikah woman mixed up in all this mess. The pair connected, and now they're both in danger, not just Peach. She could have handled it alone but no. Guilt settles itself in her like a brick in the gut. It never goes away, and on the rare occasion she's too slow, or not strong enough, and Plum gets hurt, she's a furious foe to cross, totally driven by her fear of losing the person who seemed to give her some kind of second chance despite who she was and where she came from. She'll bypass all her usual limitations and drive herself into the ground if she has to. Taken so many hits for her companion already. But, on the other hand, Plum's saved her skin a fair few times too, got great aim, and a speedy horse, tactical mind.
Their quiet nights able to hold each other are abstract at first. Plum did not see her life going this way, and Peach thought she'd never be free of her clan. Yet they both wake up day after day together, handling life on the road as best they can.
Later on, the conflict as Grey watches from afar, sees his childhood friend, secret crush, living...happily? Doing things he never thought she'd want to do, like learning to fish, or helping people on the road??? It's literally their job to hinder travellers, and while Peach always wants to rob people, Plum's there reminding her to behave. He sees her laugh. smile? All the things she only ever did through a menacing veil, but here, watching genuine peace take over her life, he starts to wonder if maybe he'd gotten her all wrong. Maybe she left and it was a good thing. Maybe he could too.
Every encounter they have, Peach grows stronger, and he seems weaker. She's got something to fight for now, and he's losing his faith in the clan with every step he takes further from home. She offers him a chance to escape, an ope hand, something alien in their culture. They'll never truly be free, the elders will always hunt them, but maybe, just maybe, together they can survive, make something of their lives, other than fighting other peoples battles. Plum, unsettled by his presence, but unafraid, sees how much he means to Peach, she's watched the large woman kill many a thing without hesitation to stay alive, but Grey? She's had the shot, she's watched her take swings and pull back to miss, to give him a chance to dodge. She too, welcomes him in, if he wants. He does not know what to do.
Runs. Torn between the head and the heart.
The next time they clash, a few feeble swings of the blade are taken, but he throws them down soon after, shocking his old friend who briefly thinks it's a trick, but sees the mask come off, dropped to the floor, unheard of in their clan. She drops the blade, a moment waiting to make sure for certain theres no trick, before running to hug him so tight. He bawls his eyes out, years being touch starved, not holding a hand, or feeling someone wrap him up in their arms, the attention totally breaks him. there is no love with their clan, only training, only duty, only the drive to be powerful and cunning. But now, he has the opportunity for love.
They are chased down, they send bigger meaner members after them, but together, the trio can cope, they know what to do, they know the tricks and tactics, and survive.
Plum has now got two big bodies covered in tattoos, and scars, and they both adore her, and she's not sure what to do but by god she'll figure it out!

listening to the dazai playlist! forgor if u sent link or not n too lazy to check so im just hoping the "dazai osamu vibes" one is the right one
idk whats been saying in the first song but wooo! woooooo!!!!! adventure!!!!!!!
the GUILT this man has is violent. i am choking on it. but like guilt in a very numb way if that makes sense? hes done horrible things and hes just fucken desensitized by it at this point that he cant even bring himself to feel bad about it, but some part of him still hurts.
anger issues he explodes constantly. very slow work up before it just goes bOOM
revenge. hunting down the people who hurt him
i already know this mfer does not wanna live but ive still gotta mention violently suicidal and self destructive. idk if ive asked but do we know why he has so many bandages?? constantly flipping between killing himself and fucking over life and living
very fast speeding connections in which he gets attached and gets hurt? when he does really connect to someone they mean a lot to him. keeps promises like hell and fuck. he has strong bpd vibes.
religious trauma?
sommmeeeeeetimes a little cuckoo crazy coco puffs. like really insane and violent and overall he turns into someone you dont want to be around. he can disconnect from everything around him easily so at that point, he doesnt care what happens
sexy
boogeying these tunes are so good and i feel like there should be a lot more pure screaming in this playlist like dazai probably listens to screams of anguish while falling asleep
very sneaky scary little man i think he would like guns and should not be trusted around weapons of any time. very smart also.
GET MENTAL HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
walks around in life just really angry and resentful towards everything idk why hes still alive but maybe spite or just pure hate towards everything he cant even bring himself to really die. feels very unloveable and alien (okay fine yes i did read no longer human by the real osamu dazai)
mfer is always wearing a damn mask to please people!!!!!! stop people pleasing!!!!! be normal!!!!! or actually dont i think neither would be very good
his trauma made him angry and mean and unpleasant to be around instead of soft and caring and strong and hes so so angry about that and like. idk what his trauma is but its giving Why Would You Do That To A Kid vibe
fucked up morality. good or bad? who knows!
suuuuuuiiiiiccccciiiidaaaaallll i see you im so tired and last words of a shooting star. feels like all would be best without him around but doesnt really wanna hurt the people he cares about too much (though he wont let himself admit this)
AUHGOAUHGOAUGHAOUGHAOGUHAOGUHUAHGIAUGOUAHGO
reading through this grinning and laughing like a madman YOU ARE SO RIGHT FOR THE MAJORITY OF THESE OPINIONS!!!! i am going to go through and give way too detailed responses to most of this bc i am very normal here we go
numb guilt is SO TRUE for him i don't have a better word to describe his views like there's this scene where he's talking to kyouka and she tells him she can't live anymore because she's killed 35 people and he looks so sad when he says "so what? what's a mere 35 people?" bc hes killed HUNDREDS and he doesn't even really feel bad for it while this girl is in despair from a (relative to him) small amount
no anger issues actually but you've made me REALLY want to see an angry dazai now so i'm gonna have to write that revenge fic 😭
it is not said why he has bandages but there are two major theories in the fandom, one is that he self harms and doesn't want other people to see and the other is that he's actually the Book which is hard to explain concisely but is a reality-altering book that everyone in the series is trying to find. whatever is written in it will become reality so it's a theory that all the writing is on his skin and he's just kinda hiding in plain sight! nobody knows for sure tho
HE DOES HAVE BPD VIBES
he totally does switch personalities in canon, like most of the time he's all cheerful and woo happy go lucky eyehey and then whenever he's facing off against the villains or doing something a lil morally wrong he just completely shuts off any kindness he might have mustered it's fun to see but also yeah. Scarey
he absolutely would just listen to straight up screaming you are so right
crying at sneaky scary little man that is the best description of him i have ever heard and i am going to steal it for dialogue in the fic i'm writing rn. he should NOT be trusted around weapons but for some reason he's like the only guy in the detective agency who has a gun
i think thr people pleasing is better than his true self lmao 😭 idk if he even has a true self at this point tho </3
i almost wish we knew what his trauma was in canon but i prefer it being a mystery bc 1) i quite honestly don't think they could write whatever it was without making it seem underwhelming for his character bc tragic anime backstories are So common and he's so much more fucked up than your average anime character and 2) people write the most horrific fics about their versions of his backstory and i love reading them sm. i want to read them forever
thank you for listening !!!! hope u enjoyed and i will get to peyton's playlist tomorrow if i have time :DD <333

I DEMAND THAT YOU TELL ME ABOUT YOUR BLORBOS (if you want)
So I had to double check what Blorbo means, and apparently it means your favourite character? In which case may I present a good % of the FE3H cast? ;P
I just... I love most of the students in different ways for different things?
Claude is just... Claude. He has so many layers to him, being both incredibly simple (in terms of what he ultimately wants) and also stupidly complex (in how he goes about getting those things)? He wants to make connections, make friends, bring everyone together, but has been burned too many times while growing up to ever really trust anyone. He's always waiting for the other shoe to drop, for that knife to land in his back. His closest friend is Hilda who openly shits on Almyra because she's a casual racist, and that has to kill him on some level, wondering what she'd say about him if she knew, and yet she's still his best friend who he openly mourns when she goes down fighting for him? Who he can't stand the thought of losing in Hopes? He has to be in charge, of everything. Has to know all the details, make all the plans. And then makes plans for in case the first ones fail. He never stops thinking, calculating, digging up all the information available, because knowledge is power. Not just for blackmail, but because understanding your opponent means you can predict them.
Claude's just great, and I could pick him apart for hours.
Also? He has a wyvern. So, ya know. I'm very simple and predictable, ok?
I also love Leonie. She's solid, very open and honest. Kinda stubborn, but open to learning and can admit when she's wrong. Puts Lorenz in his place which is always a bonus. I want her to be my friend!
Same with Raphael and Caspar to some degree. Caspar is a little less willing to the whole learning thing, but with enough rope to tie him to the chair so he can't run away I think he'd eventually listen? Raph sees the good in everyone and everything, always willing to help, and stands up for his beliefs. They're muscle heads, but fundamentally kind people who deserve way more love than they get
Marianne is a peach who straight up talks to animals! Hilda is a riot when she pulls her head out her racist ass who has way more depth than she lets on, with the whole loyalty till death thing, and her creative side with the jewellery. I want to tease Lysithea like Claude does and feed her cake and sweets while we discuss magic. Ignatz is doing his best and the flashes of backbone he shows in early supports are amazing
Annette and Ashe are wonderful and deserve all the best things in life. Two little cinnamon rolls trying to make the best of their monuments of childhood trauma
Sylvain is.... Um. Ok, he's kinda an ass sometimes, and if he were real I'd probably hate him, but the snippets of who he could have been without all that Miklan and crest trauma? That version of him I love. The one who goes all out for his friends, who is a self sacrificing moron who hurts himself over and over because he somehow thinks it'll make things better? The one who cares so, so deeply when he lets himself, despite trying to push everyone away and keep them at arm's reach so they can't hurt him first. The version of him who is loyal to a fault, through thick and thin, and who is forever torn and on some level broken in non Blue Lion routes.
That Sylvain I love. The one behind the smiling playboy mask he shows the world.
Petra is a Bean. A Very Good Bean. She deserves all the love and kindness and all the help she wants tracking down the bastards who dragged her from her home and then made fun of her being dumped in a completely alien society. She is so damn strong, both physically (srsly she's been a crit machine in every playthrough it's insane) and mentally, I don't have the words
Thea is great in every way. She's kind and compassionate and is lethal with her snark. I want her to adopt me as her little sister and teach me her ways
Bernie needs a hug. And also all the help she wants disposing of her father because I know she's creative herself but I have some ideas if she wants them? Despite how much she wants to hide, and complains about being made to go out, she does go out to help her friends when they need her
Cyril is amazing. I love him to bits. Absolutely no fucks left to give for Hilda's bullshit. Slowly learning how to have friends. Learning to rely on people other than Rhea. He's wonderful and adorable and he'd hate me for it but I want to ruffle his hair and help him with his chores and make sure he's not getting blisters and feed him tasty Almyran food coz I bet he misses it, even if he won't admit it.
Shamir is everything I wanted to be growing up. No nonsense, take no shit, super smart, stealthy, and an archer??? She's great. I need that Marge Simpson meme
Seteth is fantastic, because once you get past that straight faced rules lawyer, he has a wicked sense of humour and a playful side and is such a dad. He's kind and caring, and he honestly does care, even if he shows it oddly
Byleth is whatever I want them to be. Blank slate, who nevertheless loves the people they pick in each route. Fierce and loyal and loving and struggling to express barely understood emotions... And putting up with Sothis being a gremlin
And then omg, Shez. Shez Shez Shez. The embodiment of no thoughts head empty. No filter, at all. Jumps off fucking cliffs for funsies. Multiple times!!!!! I just. I love Shez, ok? I am in desperate need of Shez merch, and Etsy is failing me. All I can find is the occasional sticker and I am a very sad Duckie about it
Ahem
Non FE3H is a little difficult... Mostly because 3H is my current obsession, but I guess...
Arlo and Oaks, from My Time at Portia are great? Arlo eats spaghetti, kicks down doors, and gets sweaty in the summer. Oaks is the Best Bear Boy Bean in the world. Shame the Devs dropped the ball on developing him, or giving him a decent backstory (I have so, so many questions about how he was raised)
Also, probably don't count, but the Cotton Llamas and Panbats. They are my Blorbos too. I need to finish making my third Panbat... As soon as I work out where I stashed it <__<;;;
Dys from I Was A Teenage Exocolonist is great! Little rebel baby. Also Sym, who is... Not really someone you can sum up easily? Cal is also great! I need to get back to playing this game, so I can romance him. Or not, because I want him to be happy with Tammy... Nngh
I think that's everyone I'd consider a Blorbo...? I mean, I love a bunch of other characters from different things, but none I've got out of my way to buy merch for like I have Claude (and the other students to some extent. Looking at my sticker covered table).
Sorry that got so long >__<;;;
