Frog Time
Tumblr media
I'm so bad at tagging people so consider yourself tagged if you want to be :)
B A S I C S
Name: Bounding Frog (redacted roe language name because I forgor)
Nicknames: Frog
Age: 18-22 (ARR-EW)
Nameday: 23rd Sun of the 5th Umbral Moon
Race: Hellsguard Roegadyn
Gender: cis woman
Sexuality: Bi
Profession: She has a summer job working with the hippo riders, although that doesn't pay as well as adventuring, so she's looking forward to Dawntrail and doing more than delivery runs.
P H Y S I C A L     A S P E C T S
Hair: maroon and light pink
Eyes: maroon and light pink
Skin: brown
Tattoos/scars: I headcanon the single choice of tattoos per face for roes are meaningful somehow - I chose coming of age, getting her Adventurer Name, and leaving home, so those were fresh porple swoops over her cheekbones in ARR :D I've only known her as long as she's been Frog and looked like this.
The scar on her nose is from being underhand punted like a rugby ball by an older brother back when she was an orb shaped child. Since adventuring the regular healing has stopped her getting too scarred up from any misadventures.
F A M I L Y
Parents: Notable members of their remote mountain community, maintaining an important set of Arcanima wards around an aetherically dangerous geological fault. Of course, they're good at their jobs so this wasn't very scary as an upbringing. They're a lovely couple and make a hell of a bowl of soup. All else I know about them is they're very supportive and Frog writes to them regularly.
Siblings: like six rowdy older brothers. She was very spoiled by this squad of bodyguards tbh. (Ignore the previous comment about one of them maiming her, they DO love her even if they saw her as a cannonball under other circumstances.) A couple of them left to be mercenaries, uncertain if for Garlemald - they don't write home as thoroughly.
Grandparents: Probably, tbh. We're getting out of my limited perception of Hellguard culture and history but I think I can say the remoteness of their village is an excuse for nothing too terrible to have happened to any of them :P
In-laws and other: She was sort of starting to think of Edmont as a potential in-law and he began acting like it after Events so she's acquired some without marrying. He DID also adopt Aymeric informally, so now she's courting him it's coming back around!
Pets: Multiple, even not counting animal sanctuary beasties. Some she drops by to visit where they're being looked after once she'd raised them or sheltered them for a while (the baby hippo was donated to the hippo riders thankfully before he got too large and hungry for example). Others live at the free company house getting spoiled by the staff. The free company is named after the baby tapir who is the best and cutest. :)
S K I L L S
Abilities: In character, she has yet to find something she isn't good at after a couple of false starts. (ooc is much more of a mess depending on my ability) As an all-jobs all-crafts all-gatherers weirdo she's genuinely alarming to contemplate.
Hobbies: crafting/gathering/fishing is more of a wind down respite than a career calling for her. Canonically she's finished the fishing log... ooc I haven't by a long shot :P She also loves visiting bars and pubs across the world that she's visited to drop in on old friends, or go on foodie tours of places she's liberated. They stole G'raha being a foodie traveller in the dawntrail trailer from her actually.
Kinda always wanted to do a in character review of all the drinking establishments in game.
T R A I T S
Most positive trait: determination and everything that went into being strong enough to do the end walk, which did feel like a culmination of all the positive things they ascribe to the WoL. Since she's living the life of box art Meteor with no plot deviations or alterations except what I can put into the downtime and spaces between cutscenes, I can't argue with times when they REALLY show the admirable heart of the WoL.
Most negative trait: She's not going to say no, so if you need a favour just stand near where she wanders by routinely and look forlorn and you WILL get helped to within an inch of your life.
L I K E S
Colors: royal purple, dark reds and deep blues
Smells: fresh baked anything. Probably also the fresh morning smell when she gets up at ass o'clock to do stretches or whatever gross things morning people do.
Textures: G'raha ears >:)
Drinks: black coffee, red wine, milky tea
O T H E R    D E T A I L S
Smokes: tried it with the Vath and hated it. Still has no idea if Fogweed is a drug or not.
Drinks: socially and merrily with a bottomless liver.
Drugs: nothing harder than caffeine and alcohol.
Mount Issuance: her sweet blue chocobo is called Turbulence and threw off everyone who attempted to ride him before that.
Been Arrested: not outside MSQ run ins with the law

((Thank you so much to @reikatsukihana for this beautiful gift and allowing me to post it with my writing!!! I’m still crying happy tears over this!! 🥹💖 Oh and some Endwalker spoilers ahead!))
Wolmeric Week 2023
#2: First Kiss
3rd Sun of the Sixth Umbral Moon, Year 5 of 7th Astral Era
Wow… just wow…
So much has happened in the last 24 hours. Gods, EVERYTHING has changed.
Aymeric, he loves me. He LOVES me. ME, of all people! I still can’t believe it when I am seeing myself write those words down on the paper, but it wasn’t a dream. It all really happened.
How did it happen, you ask? Well, it was Krile who told me that she wished for my happiness, and that once we had defeated Meteion, she hoped that I would find true love. And I realized in that moment that I already had found it, but if anything were to happen to me, he would never know the truth. I felt compelled to finally tell Aymeric what I have kept inside all of these years.
So, I went to Ishgard, and I found him walking back home to Borel Manor. I called to him, and as he asked me what was wrong, I just couldn’t hold back my tears. All of my emotions came out at once, and I actually did it. I finally said it.
“I love you, Aymeric de Borel. I always have, and I know now that I always will.”
Even though I was able to confess, I was still so afraid of what he was going to say. My fear took over, and I couldn’t face the rejection. But something else took hold once I couldn’t control my fear. A black cloud formed around me… I was beginning to turn.
So I did what I knew I had to do. I ran. I tried getting as far away as I could from Aymeric and from anyone else who would be in danger… from the monster I was going to become.
But instead of the last of my aether being snuffed out forever, I felt his arms around me. I heard his voice in my ears, and suddenly, it all went away. As fast as it took hold, it let me go, and I could only see Aymeric’s face, and his eyes were clouded with tears. And before I knew it, his lips had claimed mine.
I couldn’t believe it. He was actually kissing me! And all I could do was melt into the kiss. As soon as we came up for air, that is when he said it.
“I love you too, Hali.”
Oh damn, it’s getting hard to write with happy tears in my eyes. So, I will just say this.
I have made a promise that I will save our star, and that I will return home to the man I love. And nothing in this universe is going to stop me now. I will punch a bird girl into a black hole if I have to! Yes, now that I know that there is someone out there who loves me as much as I love him, I feel like I can do anything. It’s a wonderful feeling indeed.

Blood Defied - 10: Mudblood
< Previous Chapter | Chapter List | Next Chapter >
Ominis stood before Cree.
“Pl-please, Ominis,” she said, quivering.
But her voice was drowned out by a sharp, nasty susurration. Generations of Parselmouths envenomed him with their ideals and hatred. The sound formed together in some sort of coherence. It sounded like his mum, hissing in distinguishable parseltongue.
“Put an end to it.”
As if something mad had claimed him, he shoved Cree to the ground. She hit the floor, yelping in terror. He knew she was unarmed. He knew she was helpless against him. The tiniest part of him that begged for this to stop was quashed by his madness.
“Don’t do this,” Cree begged.
He lifted his wand, expecting his voice to call out the Killing Curse. His heart dropped into his churning stomach when his mania forced out,
“Crucio!”
She screamed. It sundered his ears and ravaged his mind. His younger self accompanied her, cacophonous, overwhelming. His lucid part cried out for it to stop. The hissing laughed, sneering and wheezing in its joy. His own lungs expelled a laugh—cackling that turned to uncontrolled and venomous hissing.
When he stopped, Cree panted and sobbed. The static of the curse and smell of tears drenching Cree’s flesh pierced his nostrils.
“Why?” she begged. Generations within him hissed, “Kill her.” “I trusted you, Ominis.”
He struggled against himself. But this was simply how things were. She was nothing to purebloods—to him.
“Shut your mouth, mudblood.”
The word assaulted his tongue. His coherent side pleaded for her to release him from his madness. But that umbral half only held contempt for the helpless mudblood. He lifted his wand. He felt the words bubble up in his chest, ready to spew from him and destroy everything.
“Avada Kedavra!”
Bright green flashed across his blind eyes. Then Cree’s breaths halted. Her silence rang in the air like the tolling of a thunderous bell. Her sobs and voice were gone forever. Her arms would never again hold him tight. And she could no longer reassure him that he was sane.
Ominis jerked awake. Shooting upright chilled his damp and clammy skin. A dream. A nightmare. His lungs burned with heaving breaths. He felt his heart pounding against his bones. Warm tears burned at his eyes and new sweat trickled off his forehead. He still felt that atmosphere—cold and dark and oppressive, swelling in his lungs and fogging his mind. That insane half of him ripped apart his brain, picking out things he was sure rested deep within him; things that prepared to burst forth one day when he least expected it.
Sebastian mumbled from his side of the dorm. “Ominis…? Are you all right?” “Y-yes, I’m fine.” “Actually speaking to me?” he mumbled again with a hoarse voice, stirring as though he sat up. “You sure you're all right?” Ominis sighed and pulled his cover over him. “Come off it.”
He rolled to face the wall. Sebastian groaned softly and collapsed back into bed. After some sheet rustling, the room went quiet again. All that was left was the sloshing of the Black Lake.
Dirt scraped Credence’s legs. Her muscles burned, desperate for respite as she hurried out of the Great Hall. She’d been running for who knows how long, yet she was still going to be late! With her food in hand, she practically tackled the Floo Flame.
Her feet hit hardwood flooring. She panted and looked around the common room entryway. Ominis sat on one of the benches, surrounded by the usual Ravenclaw books and clutter. He held his own plate. A few bites had been taken from it already.
“Credence, where have you been?” he asked. “Sorry,” she said between breaths. “I don’t— Mean to be— So late.” “All right, what insane story do you have for me this time?”
She walked toward him, kicking some of the dirt clumps out of her pant leg. One of his brows cocked in response.
“I was in the Forbidden Forest,” she said. “Uh-huh.” “Looking for pearl moss.” “Right.” “And I fell.” “....” “In a niffler den.”
He paused and she watched a smile forming across his lips, though he tried to push it back down.
“Oh. Well, I’m glad you’re—” He forced away his giggles. “I’m glad you’re okay.” “It was so not funny,” she said, though she was also giggling. “I was stuck for ten minutes!”
She opened up the door and they headed inside.
“And what do you mean I have insane stories?” she demanded. “At least several times a week,” he said, nodding. “You’re exaggerating.” “Don’t you remember the last time?” “Hyperbole.” “It was three days ago.”
He reminded her of the time she’d come into the Great Hall, feet slapping wet against the floor. She’d sat next to him with a loud smack of sodden clothes.
“Why are you all wet?” he’d asked. “Remember that transfer thestral we got? The one that’s been following me everywhere?” “Ashes, yes.” “I had to go out near Lower Hogsfield to get some supplies. When I got there, I realized I also needed some leech juice. Well, those leeches were running from me, I swear. Getting really close to the lake and everything. When I was chasing one, Ashes bowled me over. Right into the lake. I guess he saw me running and wanted to get involved.”
“And you laughed at me then, too!” she said in the present as they headed toward the rooftop. “Oh, let’s not forget that other time just last week, when you came into the Great Hall reeking of dungbombs and swamp water.” “It was the hinkypunks!” “How did you and Regalian get lured in by hinkypunks?” “We were searching for them!” she said, flustered and indignant and dramatic. “They didn’t ‘lure us in’. It’s not that we’re just stupid! Well, maybe Regalian is, but I’m not!” Ominis clutched his sides in laughter. “Okay! Okay, I’m sorry!”
She recounted that day again, having to go into the Forbidden Forest with a sneering and snarky Regalian. By the time they’d found the three escaped hinkypunks, she’d just wanted Regalian to shut up. While arguing and chasing the hinkypunks to catch them, the ground had suddenly disappeared under Credence’s feet. She fell right off an embankment.
The noisome mud of the bog greeted her. Regalian cackled at her for that one. She’d glared at him, belly-first in the muck, eyeing up that small, unsteady outcropping on which he’d stood. She took great pains to ensure Ominis and Sebastian knew that she’d kicked the ground out from under him, which sent Regalian tumbling into the mud.
Ominis was cracking up as they reached the roof. “That one was definitely not funny!” she said, also laughing. “Regalian also smelled so horrible that day, I bet he was bloody pissed!”
He took the lead up the stairs to go at his own pace. As their giggles quieted, they breached the cool air of the rooftop. Outside with them was another Ravenclaw huddled with her Hufflepuff girlfriend on one side of the roof.
Credence and Ominis took the other side. They enjoyed the last bit of warm sun before Christmas as they ate. Right when they finished their plates and got comfortable, a frigid gust of wind blew along the rooftop. Credence nuzzled closer to Ominis. The two girls squealed at the frozen air. They giggled together and jogged back inside. Credence relaxed knowing she and Ominis could talk without interruption.
“Are you signing up for that winter tournament Brattleby wants to hold?” asked Ominis. “Can't. Lucan says I'm not allowed to participate in tournaments with my Protego. It still sometimes can't tell the difference between a friendly competition and an actual threat.” “That's fair,” he agreed. “Too bad. I would've loved to see you participate.” “See me?” He nudged her. “You know what I mean.” “At least I'll get to see you in the tournament, right?” “Yes, I'm already signed up, actually. There’s a surprising amount of participants. I guess they want some excitement before heading home for the holidays.” “I'm guessing you-know-who is in the tournament.” Ominis, despite having never seen it done before, gave her the most impressive eye roll. “You don't have to call him that; he's not a blight, even though he feels like it sometimes. But yes, the bloke with whom I'm not on speaking terms is joining. Wouldn't surprise me to know Garreth is already getting bets on Sebastian winning.” “Have you guys talked about what happened?” “I can't get him to shut up about what happened. He's been pestering me ever since, constantly apologizing.” “Sebastian really doesn't know when to quit,” she said. “Yes, he's under the impression that if he just says sorry enough times that it'll make it all magically disappear. He brings to mind a toddler throwing a fit rather than a sincere adult.” “Yeah, I know. I don't think he really understood what he was doing. I mean, he's so caught up with this Anne thing.” Ominis stiffened and his hand upon her hip grasped her. “He acts like he's the only one being affected by that. We're all hurting over poor Anne. It's been a truly horrible situation. I’d find it admirable he won’t give up, if he wasn't stepping on everyone's toes in the process. But he thinks he knows better than everyone else. Not even the experts at Saint Mungo's know how to help Anne. I'm sorry to say that even I've given up— Oh.” He put his fingertips over his mouth. “Oh, I shouldn't have said that…” “It's okay,” she assured, massaging his deflated shoulders. “It's a hopeless situation. It's okay to feel like you've tried everything and there isn't anything left.” “I feel so awful about it.” “I understand.”
She knew it had to have been weighing on him for a long time. At least as long as the semester if not longer. Ominis so tightly held onto guilt and negative thoughts that she wondered when he'd last remembered good times with Anne and Sebastian.
If she ever thought about her brother, she tried to remember his smile; his excitement (and confusion) about finding out she was a witch. She thought about him telling off one of her schoolmates for making fun of her for being muggle-born. How Kameron promised to keep her safe as war stained their backyard.
If she ever thought about her father, she thought about how he fought for his family. She thought about him twirling her about when her magic schooling letter came in. How her father held all of them tight as bloodshed knocked on their door. Surely, Ominis had similar memories of Anne.
“What's Anne like? she asked. “I've only heard a little.” “Oh, she's great,” said Ominis, a soft smile upon his lips. “She's always so energetic. It was usually Anne coming up with pranks and silly stories. She's really intelligent, even though her humor is like a twelve year old boy's. I think she does that to appear less smart than she actually is, but she's hilarious. Between her and Sebastian, I've never laughed so hard in my life.” “She sounds wonderful, Ominis.” “Yes, she is.”
Credence tried to keep her smile up but there was a little twinge in her gut. That couldn't possibly be—jealousy? The moment the realization hit her she tried to beat the beast back into the recesses of her mind. Ominis brushed his hand over her knee, getting her out of her thoughts.
"Thank you for listening,” he said. “You're the only one who does. Sebastian is so wrapped up in his own life, and Anne… Well, I haven't spoken to her ever since she fell ill, I'm afraid.” “Why not?” “I just… Can't bear to see her like that. Then my worst fears will come true—I'll know for sure that she'll be gone soon. Her and Sebastian were the only people who didn’t judge me for being a Gaunt, before you came along.” “I bet Anne would love to see you again.” He sighed and frowned deeply. “I know. It's so selfish of me.” Credence put her arms around him and held him close. “You need to do what's best for you. If seeing Anne is too much—” “I should see her anyway.” “I'll support whatever you want to do, Ominis.” This eased his frown. “Thank you, Cree. Would you come with me if I went to see Anne? I feel like I'll need you there.” “Of course. You and Sebastian just let me know when.” His face went quite cold, frown returning with a vengeance. “Right. Sebastian. I'm sure he'll be there as well. If there's ever an opportunity to get up to Feldcroft and see Anne, he takes it.” “Well, better to face him in that Crossed Wands tournament first, right?” “I plan to.”

Actually, re: my last post, I can't think of Ender Lilies at ALL without turning emo
Hoenir is an executioner and his sister died but he still loved his nephew with all his heart and his title is fucking 'Keeper of the Abyss' but his theme is still The Sun
Miriel was lost to the madness of the Blight but still tried to protect Faden even when she didn't know why and though her theme is Evil she's still the beloved one
All Julius wanted was his father's attention but when he heard the king call the knights and the priestesses disposable that's what drove him to madness
When you purify some of the mini bosses (I can't remember their names rn) they finally see what they've become and lament the state of their bodies
The Umbral Knight. Gods where do I start. He always has something nice to say to each of the bosses, even though they just tried to kill Lily and mourns each of the young priestesses. He's completely willing to be left behind in Land's End because he cares more about Lily than the suffering of a dead kingdom coming to an end. All he wants is for her to be safe and happy.
Lily herself becomes more corrupted as the game goes on and is in unimaginable pain from the Blight but she just keeps going and helping others
Ender Lilies is a story not about preventing tragedy but about putting an end to it and being there for others in the aftermath

Last Dragoon: Dux Bellorum Part One
Tumblr media
September 01: Envoy
The Song had been distracting for the last few days. There was something amused in the steady drum beat of Midgardsomer's heart that laid under Hrasvalger's strange yearning for family, his horde's curiosity, and a new note in the harmony that she did not recognize. Someone had slowly been making their way to the Dravinian forelands. Someone who should not be taking so long to get here and the white wyrm was growing grumpy. Bel Aliender did her best to cast aside the urge to retreat to Aynx Trine and fall into the Song. She had business with her own horde, as Vidofnir was fond of calling Defiant.
Nearly ten years on from the eighth umbral calamity and Defiant was looking more like a proper town than a refugee tent city. She watched her husband drilling his pair of squires and her small cadre of dragoons spared under Baelsar's critical gaze. At the communal hearth Chochoba Choba was haranguing someone about disgraceful bread baking while Linda Carter and Dark Autumn watched the few children that had been born safely to Defiant. Whatever had Hrasvalger in a twist she would not let it sour the song in her own heart.
Bel's ears flicked back, near the gate talons were pounding on the hard packed dirt of the road between Defiant and Tailfeather. She turned to see a black chocobo and one of the messengers that regularly made the run between the two settlements. They were pushing their bird far more than they normally would. They caught sight of her and did not bother to slow down as they barreled through the town's gates. The horse bird's talons let goudges in the dirt when the messenger finally reigned in their mount. "Thank the Traveler that you're not on patrol!"
Bel caught the chocobo's reins, "Breathe, Rolant."
Rolant absently patted their bird's neck before he dismounted. One of Constaint's squires came up to take the chocobo's reins and guide the bird to water. Constaint and Gaius joined her while Rolant carefully opened an inner pocket in the bag slung crosswise over their body. Bel arched an eyebrow when she saw a pair of envelopes made with fine paper. The young elezan handed them to her. "There's two envoys in Tailfeather. They sent those letters and plan to start out for Defiant as soon as their traveling parties are rested."
Bel hummed an acknowledgement as she read the front of the envelopes. There was a subtle trace of magic in one of the envelopes. Not an intentional charm, more like the strings of a lute vibrating in sympathy was the sound of other instruments. The hand that wrote the address was simple and elegant.
'Ser Bel Aliender'
Bel flipped the first over to see if there was a seal and both her eyebrows arched. Next to her Baelsar shifted his weight and no doubt if she looked he'd have the tight subtle frown he always had when thinking. On her other side Constaint rested a hand on the small of her back. "I don't recognize that seal."
"It's the personal seal of the Satrap of Radz-at-Han," Bel ran her thumb over the rich blue wax and thought of the Song with exasperation. if Hrasvalger was going to inflict the Song with his personal annoyances the least he could have done was provide an actual explanation of who he was upset with. "and his envoy is more than what he appears."
Rolant nodded, "The envoy is Au Ra but he's got the strangest green horn and scales. He's polite at least. Treats everyone in Tailfeather like equals. The other one…"
Bel shuffled the envelopes and frowned at the address on it.
Dux Bellorum Aliender
Gaius hissed out a breath and explained when Bel glanced at him, "it is An old Garlean title. Dux Bellorum, leader of war, was given to generals of renown when Garlemald was just a collection of petty chieftains and kings."
Bel pressed her lips into a thin line and checked the seal. She found the Empire's interlocked links pressed into pale red wax. What was that strangling chain doing anywhere near her people? "What does this second envoy call themselves?"
"Qunitus van Cinna legatus of the first legion," Rolant grimaced and ran a hand through their hair, "he and his escort have been trying. There would have been blood in the dirt if Machop and Envoy Varshan hadn't been able to defuse things."
"Do you know him, Gaius?" Bel tapped the edges of the envelopes against her lips as she thought.
"A fanatic," the old wolf said decisively, "I did not think he had survived the fall of the empire."
"Love, could you ask the council to join me in the town hall?" Bel asked after a few long minutes. "Gaius could you make sure that the road stays clear and organize an escort? It would be wise to keep this legatus from encountering our vanth allies."
Baelsar nodded crisply and strode off to gather up what constituted Defiant's militia. Constaint bent to kiss the crown of her head and then straightened to go over to hearth where Chochoba still was. Rolant gave her a half bow and headed to the stables where his bird would have been. Bel blew out a breath and pinched the bridge of her nose. In that unguarded moment the constant background of Song surged and the ever present melody nearly pulled her into it.
"Something wrong Lady Knight?" The lilting and oily voice brought Bel back to the present. She turned to glare at Carry Ermingild who held his hands up, "I'm only concerned for our Dux Bellorum."
"Carry please find something to do that doesn't involve finding titles to annoy me with." Bel said with an evenness that only six years of enduring the man's teasing could grant.
"Oh don't be like that," the elezan man chided. "but I shall go and aid our old wolf with escorting our new guests."
He walked past her raising his arm and gave two twists his hand in a loose wristed wave.

[original drawing date: 2nd-13th Feb 2024]
A collection of various busts of characters from a comic i want to work on soon. This would be the first time I've drawn some of these characters and they could probably do with some proper designs, but I had fun nonetheless c:
This is actually part of another big project I'm working on where I draw similar things for some of my characters, i've got a few more but I'll probably post them when I've got more for those character sets.
Characters are:
Kristy Williams, an aspiring author and recently-graduated uni student. Kinda chill normally but is quick to anger and is almost superhumanly stubborn. Through the course of the comic, but shown in the opening, she gains a weird superpower called Soulblaze, which is this short-ranged high-impact explosive energy attack that resembles rapidly-spinning fire with occasional sparks of lightning and the power of which is tied to the user's mental state and determination.
Elenor, the Umbral Queen, a woman from around 1862 who fused herself with a shadowy eldritch abomination to stop herself dying from complications after childbirth, and has just kinda been goofing around, terrorising generally not good people, and fighting and/or running away from her descendents' various armed forces trying to capture her for study or revenge against killing a few of her immediate family (most by accident, though she did deliberately kill her husband). Actually kind of a kind-hearted person, albeit with a bit of a sadistic streak, as she was never cruel herself and the Umbral Queen is explicitly neutral and passive.
Evangeline, the Guardian, is a tall and kinda buff woman who works as a librarian or a bookstore worker idk which yet, and is secretly a low-rank creature of super-advanced dimension-travelling biokinetic former humans who self-style themselves after angels and call themselves the Celestians, and she was planted on the world to essentially protect humanity from incursions from hostile entities from other realities - entities like the Umbral Queen, for instance. Usually acts pretty friendly, if not a bit aloof, but can turn cold and deeply serious quickly.
Argent, the Portal Scientist. Researcher from an alternate reality who starts exploring Kristy's dimension to study the remarkably weak fabric between realities there. Insatiably curious, deeply intelligent, and quite compassionate. Loaded to the brim with advanced technology built around intra- and occasionally inter-dimensional portal technology.
Sable, the Kinetic Scientist. Argent's sister, less interested in studying the world and more in testing and experimenting with kinetic accelerator tech. Bit of a mad scientist, and definitely has chaotic gremlin energy.
Joanne Rockwell, a junior science-type (not sure what discipline yet), office intern, and recently-graduated uni student. Level-headed, a little high-strung, and cautious to a fault, but quite friendly and sociable otherwise. Kristy's girlfriend, has been with her since late high school and before she transitioned. Like Kristy, she's just a normal human, but also like Kristy there's definitely something weird going on with her...
Kyle Ashton, a mildly successful online sex worker, and Cassidy's slightly younger brother. Fairly promiscuous, but knows how to keep himself safe and is respectful of boundaries, and has a similar attitude to his sister, albeit more sarcastic. Probably has some martial arts training.
Cassidy Ashton, an amateur artist, gym junkie and semi-successful VTuber. Enjoys banter and good-natured ribbing, a little headstrong and prone to arrogance, but if she likes you even a little she'll be extremely friendly and doggedly loyal - her VTuber persona is much the same, albeit a little more exaggerated. Kristy's current best friend, met each other during the start of their third year of uni at the gym. A decent boxer, for someone only just starting it, spars with Kristy often. Also has a bit of a crush on Kristy.

11 - Deterrence
Kris and Susie looked askance at each other, then turned back towards the beaming prince, brows raised inquisitively.
'You, uh… sure you wanna come to the dojo with us?' said Susie. 'What with all the, uh... fighting.'
'Of course, Susie!' said Ralsei sweetly, striking his palm with his fist. 'I… I realise I have to do everything I can to support my friends in our quest, so, um… even if it is a little unpleasant, I'm determined to help!'
Kris clicked their fingers. 'Oh, like a cheerleader?'
His smile widened a notch. 'You could say that I suppose, haha.'
The dragoness shot Ralsei a grin, tousling his hair with a firm claw. 'Arright then! Nice to have a fluffy nerd for encouragement and crap. Just stay back and let me n' Kris handle the ugly stuff.'
'Oh, that won't be necessary! I have a weapon of my own now, you see.'
And so saying, the prince reached into his robe and began to pull out a thin steel object, black as night. Kris and Susie leaned in for a closer look; she snorted with some amusement and not a small amount of derision.
'Pfft, like some little fairy wand or summat? Sure your baby hands can… can, uh…'
She trailed off as Ralsei continued drawing his weapon - it was now a meter long, and seemed to radiate a grim aura. If he noticed this, he didn't comment on it, but continued talking with an excited smile on his face.
'I'd… really rather not fight at all if I can help it,' he explained, oblivious to his friends' growing bewilderment. 'So I went with… a deterrent, I guess you could call it? Something that'd make our opponents think twice about facing off against us!'
Once the object was three times his height, Ralsei withdrew it with a flourish, and now both astonished teenagers could see it for what it really was - a gargantuan scythe, bladed with jagged obsidian that glinted menacingly in the darklight and adorned with iridiscent skulls that were grinning wickedly, eyes burning black with umbral malice. The prince struck the ground with its blunt end, the ebony metal chiming an ominous knell that spoke of untimely ends and mocking eulogies.
The prince leaned coyly against the hellish weapon, batting his eyelashes like a schoolgirl. 'So, what do you think, friends? You don't, um… reckon I went a bit overboard, do you…?'
Neither Kris nor Susie responded with words. The dragoness's eyes were wide, mouth slack, something approaching awe and envy etched across her mauve features. The human, meanwhile, simply raised one hand in an affirmative thumbs-up, as if Ralsei had shown off a cool bug and not a cursed weapon manifested from some deep, dark nightmare.
'....y;know, actually,' said Susie in a quiet voice, 'I've, uh... changed my mind. Let's do some knitting instead or something.'

Send '🗣' + character's name meme for my opinion / accepting / @nulltune
🗣 may i say- 😳😳 hakuno AJDVAKFJWKF
Tumblr media
Let me tell you something about Hakuno, I have a deep hatred for the character. WELL the male version anyway. IS it because of legitimate criticism and the way they’ve developed him as a character? No ma’am it’s for petty shit like Tamamo loving the absolute fuck out of him. All the homies know when it comes to the kitsune/foxians or what you’d call ‘em I’m there at their corner. They call me Captain save-a-fox and to have this woman riding his dick all day disgusts me XDD
But On a serious note I do like your Hakuno. Mostly because Hakuno themselves as a character I’ve forgotten mostly about because the last time I’ve touched Extra was when the PSP was still relevant. LORD I loved that game, played the hardest difficulty JUST to get Tama (you know how it is). I like how yours starts off like any ol’ silent protag. Kinda empty with a lot of room to grow and i’ve been lurking ever since she’s been tight with my sinbad. I can safely say I’ve seen enough of your Hakuno to the point that I’m tempted to actually buy Umbral Star..I think it’s called on the PS4.
That’s how good you are that I’m hoping if I DO play this game the Hakuno there can live up to the legacy you’ve pretty much imprinted on my brain. ALSO the little discussion we'd have of Hakuno basically developing a life in Inazuma? I lived for those lil moments.

This is part 2! Too many topics in a single ask. More details on Dragon in the tower au coming soon if you want.
I never really talked about his personality so here we go! Pan was generally calm and stoic pre-zanado and has become pretty much unflappable since then because really heightened emotions can cause him to partially transform, a borderline painful experience. Tho he can be very funny and expressive when he wants to be, usually around his fam. He also tries to lie about his past as little as possible, usually by giving vague, general answers or even outright ignoring/deflection the question. Sometimes he will take the funny route if other people are present, Hanneman has been a victim of this.
He is very observant and has great judgement, it also translates into having decent foresight. But self-esteem issues combined with survivor's guilt + other stuff makes him feel like he has to do everything by himself. He thrives in an environment where there are people who he can support and who will support him in turn but ends up depriving himself of it. Which is why he's at his best when given responsibility of many people, like during the War of Eagle and Lion or the war in canon era.
This also makes him seem like a massive hypocrite in his Dimitri interactions lol. He's all like "You need to let others help and support you, it is our bonds that give us true strength" while also not telling his fam anything.
He was anti-empire from the beginning. He saw that the nabateans had little value beyond their powers to the nobility, afraid that they would end up becoming living tools for the empire. The rest dismissed him as being paranoid, he was in a pretty bad mental state after all.
Kyphon, while leading a small company of men, comes across a stranger who warns him about Imperial soldiers headed their way and offers to act as a lookout. Not wanting to risk their cover, he sends one of his trusted men with the stranger. Everything went smoothly and they were able to escape notice. Kyphon thanks the stranger and promises to lend aid were they to meet again in the future.
Then he and Loog meet this stranger Again, who gets them out of a bind Again. Loog is very grateful and says they're in his debt, the stranger just shrugs it off and leaves. Then they meet a third time and Kyphon asks if he has been following them. The stranger reluctantly admits that he has 'been curious about this movement and wished to see where it would lead' and finally introduces himself as [REDACTED], a mage and a scholar. Loog says some pretty words and convinces him to join.
Right after he joins some Srengese guy in the army comments that the new guy reminded him of Pan, a minor deity in his land, seen as a shepherd who protects them from the wilds, with the way he led them away from the Adrestians. Everyone thought this was the coolest thing ever and started calling him Pan.
Pan just goes with the flow, if they think this nickname is cooler who's he to stop them? Hence everyone forgot what he actually said his name was.
Weapon hcs: Durability is an important game mechanic but the implementation kinda sucked regarding relics so I made up my own version. Having to farm umbral steel to repair relics makes no sense worldbuilding-wise, like how did they repair these things when demonic beasts were next to non-existent? So in my version they can repair themselves like SotC. If you need them repaired faster, you can embue them certain kind of magic to accelerate the process. This is also how sacred weapons work, the magic infused in them repairs the weapon but you can still use mythril.
Would she try to recruit him, as Flamey? Maybe pull something like the enemies of my enemies are my allies (unless they're stinky lizards, they can be my allies for 2 seconds before I backstab them)?
I never thought about it like this!! Their dynamic would be absolutely hilarious! I can only imagine this ending in (not) betrayal at the holy tomb where he kills all the main players and prevents the war from happening. Edelgard, lying in the pool of her own blood, asks "Why?" His only reply is "Shouldn't have called us vile creatures that need to be exterminated." And she has a look of RealizationTM on her face.
Poor Pan though, but I wonder how he would have reacted to Jerry if Jerry told him his kid wasn't "normal", would he become protective of Billy who's, regardless of everything, part of his fam, or would he berate Rhea on not having told that human a thing about this Billy child?
Pan would get upset at Jerry regardless of Billy's lizardness. It's not Rhea's fault he's a terrible father! He has seen many humans with these traits and they don't deserve to be treated like this either!
Billy: I only found out I had a last name after coming to the monastery.
Pan: *looks at the camera like in The Office*
In a different hc/au Pan arrives at GMM while Citrus was around and he becomes her uncle figure. Rhea explains everything about Citrus & the previous homunculi, and also Jerry. So when he sees Jerry try to woo his 20 year old niece, every protective instinct in his body goes on full alert. He becomes their ultimate cockblocker and Jerry had never wanted to strangle anyone more. Citrus however has no clue what's going on and is just enjoying spending time with her uncle and that other guy who brings flowers sometimes :')
(did Pan and Loog hold hands or something?)
It's Schrödinger's hand holding! The benefit of hcs is that you can have contradictory ones at the same time! In the verses where they do hold hands, Pan reveals who he is and Loog'n'Kyphon are super cool with it and tell no one!
- Lizard Pan anon
Cool!
Nabateans trying to be vague about their past is my bread and butter lol, at least it's better than Seteth coming up with "Flayn is my daughter, it's totally true (and a foolproof disguise, I mean we managed to trick humans by using hair dye so this should work)" or Flayn who routinely forgets she's not supposed to be a lizard!
It must be sad to have to restrain his emotions to avoid transformation though...
He is very observant and has great judgement, it also translates into having decent foresight. But self-esteem issues combined with survivor's guilt + other stuff makes him feel like he has to do everything by himself.
The Blaiddyd curse lol, are we sure they only hold hands? Or Pan acts like his sister does during the battle of Garreg Mach, where she holds back the Imperial Army with perfect knowledge she might not return...
He thrives in an environment where there are people who he can support and who will support him in turn but ends up depriving himself of it
They all need to be around people lol but yeah, it's awesome how we can agree that some nabateans need to be around people, to help them and also to be helped, but someone said "no pointy ears" so they have to hide or disappear in a certain route...
He was anti-empire from the beginning. He saw that the nabateans had little value beyond their powers to the nobility, afraid that they would end up becoming living tools for the empire. The rest dismissed him as being paranoid, he was in a pretty bad mental state after all
Aww
Too bad he would be proven right a few years down the drain (1k!) but again, it's all about the right or wrong people being in charge, even if from a logical point of view, what should prevent the Willy gang from dicing Rhea'n'the others to gain more power or to use them as tools, as the humans following Nemesis did?
Loog says some pretty words and convinces him to join.
This makes me think of the feast of decadence where the guy pretending to be willy on stage says "words of love" to the person pretending to be seiros on stage lol
But it's a cool idea! Cryptid/random person Pan helps those humans who are in a bind, and helps them later on, again and again, ultimately joining their effort to fight against asses who think they are subhumans, or should be treated as such.
He was renamed !
IIRC in Claude's paralogue it's mentionned some people in Sreng worship the weird beast that is actually Macuil? Maybe the "minor deity Pan" was also another Nabatean? Or another being entirely.
And it makes more sense than whatever we have in-game (unless we're supposed to understand Billy'n'co are hunting Nabateans or humans turned into demonic beasts to repair their relics...)
I know some people don't like the "magic" excuse, but it works way better.
Rhea watching the scene unfold with a nervous laugh "haha I don't know what they are talking about, and by the way, no, this child is completely delured, Willy would never have done that." while Pan gives the longest sigh ever, but at least, everyone, dead and alive, is safe!
To Pan who has to learn how to restrain himself for fear of transforming, people calling Billy emotionless must hurt, they feel things, they just cannot outwardly show them!
Citrus tells Pan how Jerry is nice, he tells her stories and brings her flowers, he's kind for a human!
"and then what next, you'll tell me he can swallow noodles through his nose and find it awesome? Or borrow my stuff to give it to him?"
"of course not, he isn't completely stupid! Who would even do that? It's not awesome it's gross!"
Will Billy ever come to exist in this AU?
Then Pan will also have to deal with Aelfric also trying to woo her, and Rhea's useless because she calls Aelfric "her child" while Pan has to explain her that no for human, if they are both "her children" they can't court!
It's Schrödinger's hand holding! The benefit of hcs is that you can have contradictory ones at the same time! In the verses where they do hold hands, Pan reveals who he is and Loog'n'Kyphon are super cool with it and tell no one!
No Loog'n'Kyphon "sekrit history" then?
It would be hilarious for he and Rhea to have "edit wars", Rhea pushing the "Bestest Greatest Emperor to have existed Willy" while Pan pushes the "super brave and strong and courageous King Loog", and children of the monastery will judge, if they prefer to play "pretend I'm the super king of Lions" Pan wins, but if they prefer to play "I'm the Great Emperor who defeated the evil nemesis!" Rhea wins.
Cichol returns and calls them hopeless.

13 and 14
i'll answer these out of order since #13 is gonna have to be put under a read more for potential trigger stuff. 14. Do they get sick on amusement park rides? she REFUSES to get on amusement park rides because she is HORRIFIED of heights lmao. anything that puts her more than 10 or so fulms in the air will result in her burying her face into someone's back or shoulder so she doesn't have to see the ground below. 13. Have they ever nearly died? outside of all the times wol has nearly died in canon, i think the closest brushes with death she's had are: - nearly starving to death after the seventh umbral calamity (nashmeira, from the dancer job quest line, found her on the side of the road in la noscea and took her in) - a couple of early jobs as an assassin during pre-ARR when she was still learning the ropes tw: thoughts of suicide, sex as a negative coping strategy
- l'archelle has had thoughts of ending her own life for as long as she can remember. one of the reasons she was so into sleeping around is because it was one of the only ways she could get herself to FEEL something besides just. being numb. and zenos 100000% called her out when he said "you're always searching for bigger and tougher challenges, wondering if the next will be the one that finally does you in" or whatever. she truly enjoys putting herself in harm's way because once again, it helps her feel ALIVE. she dealt with a LOT of self hatred and doubt during shb specifically bc she was getting easily manipulated by emet into thinking that her friends were only using her as a weapon/for her title as a "hero" and not caring about her as an actual person. learning about becoming the new lightwarden due to everything she had absorbed nearly pushed her to ending her own life, but ardbert gave her a good pep talk. also, she got a very VERY needed pep talk from thancred, who had also been considering ending his own life after everything with minfillia. the only other notable time was during UT, she was NOT handling being alone again well AT ALL. she absolutely sent her friends off with the thought in mind that she DID sacrifice herself for them, and didn't actually register that she was alive when she was back on the ragnorak. g'raha noticed how she seemed really out of it and legit had to pick her up, take her to the top of the ship, and have her feel the wind on her face/have her fear of heights kick in to realize that they were standing ON TOP OF A SHIP SUPER HIGH UP IN THE AIR for her to finally come back to her senses. she cried a lot and hugged everyone for a really long time. it was the first time she ever cried in front of them ;___; ever since all that though, she's actually been doing okay!! she's been able to start somewhat talking about her feelings with g'raha and he's an incredible pillar of support for her ♥

Hi Autumn! Question! A friend of mine has me looking at my WoL and imagining her life back on Etheirys before the Sundering. I am calling my Azem, Artemis. I love the moon and did her and Orion’s story in middle school. (Headcanon Thancred was on Etheirys as Orion) My question what is the name of your Azems for all your characters? (Sorry for the ramble I got excited talking about my WoLxThancred ship! 🥰)
I completely understand! I can talk about my wolcred ship too, given a chance (FC's even gotten me to do it during content before I remember we're streaming on Twitch...). I don't do non-Echo-users in the Ancient times myself, but can see why folks headcanon it; there's some fun to be had there if leaning into the fated romance tropes. For my Azem though, I take a different angle.
I've really only figured out Aeryn & Zaine's past lives; since Aeryn's the only Actual-Capital-Letters Warrior of Light I run, the other 3 ladies would have their own Ancient selves but I've not considered them before. They would have been friends and companions to Azem.
Azem was Pandora, who looked like she had it all together and was cool and collected...but right under the surface was a chaos gremlin. I give her iridescent hair (light or dark depending on her mood) and multi-hued eyes cuz why not. She was also very aroace (and while using feminine pronouns, really just threw gender into the bin) and tended to adopt close friends into familial cuddle puddles; she had a "we've known each other since we were kids so are like siblings" relationship with both Hades and Hythlodeaus. She looked up to and adored Venat--but her most important relationship was with Icarus.
Icarus was Pandora's younger blood sibling, and they were very close. I don't know as much about him, except he was prophetic and saw some of what was coming in flashes of nightmare that left him a bit neurotic. He traveled with Azem often, along with a few other friends of theirs, on both Convocation business and on their own adventures. Icarus Saw that he and Pandora would always be reincarnated together through time--but his soul would always return to the Lifestream first.
In my headcanons, Ardbert had a sister who unexpectedly died in an accident alongside her young child, and he didn't know until seeking her advice and comfort when realizing he'd doomed the world to the Flood. And of course, Zaine was lost in the Seventh Umbral Calamity after struggling to protect the realm from it. Both the sister and Zaine were shards of Icarus.
I don't really recall a reason I chose "Pandora"; the name popped into mind alongside a very random need to tell A Version of the Hydaelyn summoning, back in 5.0 before we knew a lot. One regular reader mentioned "the last gift of hope" and y'know, it works.
I don't recall a particular reason for "Icarus" either; it also simply came to mind when filling a prompt response with a Final Days ficlet about the siblings through time and across shards, but he is the guy associated with flying too close to the sun, even if it meant personal disaster.
I'll just blame a lot of nerdy study of the ancient Greek stories as a kid.
However, the Ancients aren't a big focus for me; I prefer "modern day" Eitherys (and I only use that older name for the world for clarity's sake). Though now that the question's been posed, I'll maybe end up noodling something out for Dark, C'oretta, and Iyna; we'll see!

Today’s gameplay progress:
I made a new OC for this game ^-^
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Bryn..something - I haven’t quite decided on the second part of his name (or his surname) yet, but I’m pretty set on his name beginning with Bryn, so that’s what I’ll call him for the time being! It means “spring” in the Roegadyn language.
Bryn is a Sea Wolf Roegadyn, born and raised in the heart of Limsa Lominsa - though he certainly doesn’t live up to the pirate-y sorts of stereotypes you might be envisioning from that description! No, instead, he is much more calm and easygoing - a quiet (yet not anxious) supporting presence for anyone who he feels he can help. He’s keenly fond of plants and the medicines that can be made from them, and decided to learn healing magic as a way of bolstering his more apothecary-like knowledge in the wake of the Seventh Umbral Calamity and its consequences.
In terms of how he fits into my version of events, Bryn is the fourth member of the light party consisting of himself (as a conjurer/white mage), Clio (as a gunbreaker), Tsutsuji (as an arcanist/summoner), and Lorenza (as a black mage). As the healer of the group, he provides a lot of very necessary support to the others, so he’s able to achieve a lot more when fighting alongside them compared to if he was trying to do combat alone. He’s actually the first adventurer that Clio meets and really gets to know when she first arrives in Limsa Lominsa, right at the start of the story; the two of them end up forming a bit of a pair, often teaming up to delve through dungeons together thanks to their skillsets being so compatible with each other. He definitely becomes one of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, and in doing so discovers that he possesses a somewhat unique version of the Echo - this manifests for him as a heightened awareness of fluctuations in people’s natural aether, in a way that lets him sense their current health or afflictions quite acutely.
That’s about all that I have to say for him right now, but I wanted to make this little post to introduce him, so here that is!

Hmmm how about vacancy, and dealer's choice for the character c:
from this ask game!
Vacancy - Bea forgets where she is. tw for implied past noncon (very implied, basically nonexistent). You know me. I'm really good at pretending to sleep, not so great at actually doing it, something to do with the hyper-vigilance from the post-traumatic stress everyone insists I have. Whatever. The point is that I'm mostly awake when Bea starts crying in her sleep.
I'm not really sure what to do about it. She asked me to make sure the boys don't notice, and that physical reassurance helps? I guess I'll just have to put my arms around her and hope that makes it better. Her skin is warmer than most vampires, probably because she's Rigellian. I'm probably extra cold to her. She hasn't seemed to mind, though.
It doesn't work, she seems even more distressed than she had before, whispering things like "my lord, please!" and "no, I can't!" which isn't a good sign. I'm going to wake her. I cup a hand around her cheek (is that too intimate? fuck, I don't know how people do stuff like this) and call her name a few times. Her eyes open, but she's looking through me, nothing in them but terror. I usually like seeing someone under me giving me that look, but not when it's her. Never her.
"Please, my lord, I... I can't, I- no..."
"Bea! It's me! Avrae! Come on, please, do I look like whoever you're talking to?" My voice sounds a bit more desperate than I wish it did, but for some reason, it really hurts to be compared to whoever hurt her in the past. I know she's not doing it on purpose, but still.
"...Avrae?" Her eyes focus at last, the cobalt glow fading as her contract loosens its grip on her. She looks around in confusion. "Where... is this... where am I?"
"In bed. Umbral Arena, remember? You asked me to keep an eye on you, make sure you didn't wake the boys." My hands are still on her shoulders, I don't have the heart to pull away.
"Umbral...? Ah, yes. I... apologize. Did I disturb you? The nightmares can be rather... unpleasant." There she is, the Bea I know. I'd sigh in relief but then she'd know I'd been worried.
"My lord...?"
She grimaces, blushing a soft blue. "Did I say that aloud? I am so sorry, you shouldn't have had to hear any of that."
"Stop apologizing. I just want to know if you're all right."
Her blush deepens, but I'm not sure why. "Yes, that's... normal for me. Growing up in House Nocta was... difficult. I don't particularly wish to discuss it."
I'll never push about someone's past. I sure as fuck don't like questions about mine. "Sure, yeah. You want to try and go back to sleep or do you want a glass of wine? We could talk about, I dunno, logistics or something."
She smiles, looking down at her lap. "I think I would like a glass of wine, thank you very much."
Why does that make my chest feel weird?

List of Aus I made from different fandoms:
Note: I'm not adding the ones I made just for my ocs of that fandom
--------------------------------------------
Yo-Kai Watch Aus:
- Amnesiac Rage Au: Basically an Au that takes place in the Anime universe, where instead of killing Shinmagunshin, Shutendoji and Voidera (Douketsu's localized name) decided to spare it and move him to an area where he can cause as much chaos as it wants. It also makes friend with a human. (The reason why it's called Amnesiac Rage is based on how I see Shinmagunshin, mindless and full of rage with no memories of even himself.)
- The Fukuro House Au: A crossover au of The Owl House and Yo-Kai Watch.
- (I actually don't have a name for this one yet lol): Basically Umbral Enma, an Enma in which the Yo-Kai World was fucked via a war in his universe, becomes friends with a traumatized Zazel, who in his universe the Yo-Kai World ALSO gets fucked thanks to a war and whose Enma dies trying to protect it. (It should be noted that Zazel doesn't exist in Umbral Enma's world.)
------------------------------------------------------------
Cookie Run Aus:
- Headcanon Au: It's basically the canon au but with my headcanons. It's also my main Au.
- The Feral Chicken Au: Moonlight accidentally turned her brother (Stardust) into a feral beast whose memories are scrambled thanks to a potion. And Stardust also flees from his sister.
- Cacao's Brother Au: An Au where Cacao has a big brother and also had a son before Dark Choco but... Well let's just say something bad happened to him.
- Jellywalker Millie Au: Millennial Tree got turned into a bloody zombie and Wind Archer is his protector.
------------------------------------------------------------
Pokemon Aus:
- Soumm Region Au: Not sure if this counts as an Au but basically it's my own Pokemon Region with it's own story, characters, ect. (Just not Pokemon lol)
- False Belief Au: An Au where Arceus is a dick, and after they refused to take Akari home, Akari tries to use the Arceus Phone against them, but Arceus is like; "Oh you ignorant child. If it's my own power, what makes you, a mere mortal child, can use it?" And decides to punish her. (No, not THAT kind of punishment you perverts)
- Gijinka Au: Basically Legendary/Mythical Pokemon can turn into a human form. (And Arceus is genuinely nice in this AU and they and Giratina have a Pure Vanilla and Dark Enchantress relationship.)
------------------------------------------------------------
Sonic Aus (Most of these are Sonic suffering):
- (Haha I don't actually have a name for this Au either-) It's a Swap Au where Mimic swaps with Whisper, and Jewel swaps with Tangle... With a twist ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
- Shooting Star from the Abyss: One day when Sonic was out for a run at night, he comes across a weird rock. (Not being aware that it was a meteor that fell from Space!) And the next day, when Tails get worried about him, he finds Sonic. But he's... Different. In fact, is that even Sonic?
- S Au: It's an Au inspired by Sink Sonic. Sonic and Tails were fighting Eggman and Metal one day, when an earthquake happened an it sends Sonic into the water, drowning him since he can't swim. Tails is mourning the lost of his best friend, thinking that he could've saved him and thinks this'll all his fault, even though it wasn't. Timeskip to 6 months later, Amy tells Tails that she made a new friend who she introduces him to Tails. In which it's a hedgehog with their name being S.

Ok finally wrote up my wols! I'll add pictures later, and if anyone has ideas for more info to add I can, I just wanted to get this out here before I decide to start writing out everyone's backstory again. Only the first four are, like, actual alts at this point, and I'm not even out of starting city on Prim, so the info gets sparser as it goes down.
Entlona Eifasaldwyn
    Main class: Scholar
Side classes: Red Mage, Machinist, Summoner, Dragoon, Gunbreaker
Age (at the start of ARR): 20
My main, a giant nerd with zero social skills and even less tact. Can’t remember names, faces, or things that don’t spark her interest for shit, so she writes down basically everything in her vast collection of journals which will be worth something someday if anyone can bother to decode her awful handwriting, obtuse shorthand, and absolutely bonkers organizational system. Thinks it’s extremely funny to pretend she’s taking something seriously which wasn’t meant to be, or misunderstand something obvious, which is annoying because there’s also a very real possibility she isn’t joking. Total smartass. Unfortunately for her, over time she came to the conclusion that she genuinely cares about all life on the star and beyond, and is now forced to be a hero about it when she would really rather be cataloging mosses or organizing historical census data.
Aganaran Qalli
    Main classes: Dancer, Dark Knight
    Side classes: Samurai, Summoner, Astrologian
Age: 16
A sweet kid about the same age as the twins, who ran away from her tribe on the Steppe to find her missing brother, who came to Eorzea many years ago. She seems nice at first but that’s actually because she’s desperate for affection, once she realizes that she is genuinely cared for she becomes a little shit. Loves to fight, dance, write music, fight, tease Alphinaud, cuddle with carbuncles, and fight. Can and will keep a grudge for a very, very long time. Mostly nonverbal, she communicates in sign language. For some reason when she speaks she’s usually way ruder? Easily overstimulated. Fucking loves carbuncles.
Vespera Phaethon
    Main class: Black Mage
Side classes: Bard, Monk, Warrior, Sage
    Age: 28
An annoying fox-rat of a woman. Comes across as a drama kid, which is probably because she’s a drama kid. Garlean, but gained the Echo very, very young, and has some sort of weird situation going on with her aether that allows her to somewhat channel it, but she uses magitek to augment that and allow her to use actual magic. After she ran away from a bad family and political situation that she made worse on purpose, she came to Eorzea to become an adventurer and somehow, despite both of their massive trust issues, immediately bonded with another newbie. Queen of mistaking sex for emotional intimacy, 2 am breakdowns over whether she is unlovable,  3 am breakdowns over whether she’s even a person, and 4 am manic episodes. Huge Cid fangirl.
Primrose Lyons
Main Class: Monk or White Mage? Maybe Reaper.
    Age: 33
Princess-in-exile of a nation steamrolled by Garlemald before she was even born. Classically trained, perfectly mannered, does not know what she is doing with her life. She tries really, really hard to be the mom friend, but unfortunately she’s a nervous wreck with poor decision making skills. After she got dumped for being too passive and insecure she tried to fix that by getting on the next ship to Eorzea with some vague idea about helping fight the Empire. Your call whether that counts as actually addressing the issues.
Dion Rhabdos
Main class: Unsure- Warrior or Ninja, eventually Black Mage or Red Mage maybe?
Age: Literally over a millennia old
Once a Mhachi voidmage, Dionysus has spent the 6th Astral Era as a minion to the dark forces, and after the 7th Umbral Calamity he decided to retire. Out of some unknowable whim, Hydaelyn decided to help him out, granting him the blessing of light and a measure of protection from his former masters in exchange for joining with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Somehow, despite his centuries of experience in subterfuge, he manages to be a terrible liar. He's convinced nobody knows he’s an Ascian. Everybody knows he’s an Ascian. A very earnest, if quite anxious, guy, despite his history he manages to be a calming and caring influence.
Alan de Gagnon
    Main class: Paladin I think
Side classes: Machinist, definitely not Dragoon
    Age: 17
Adopted son of an Ishgardian nobleman, when his father and late brother were found guilty of heresy he was exiled from Ishgard. Spends ARR being horrible, Heavensward having a crisis, and after that manages to be pretty chill. Huge weapons and armor nerd, and a big dragoon fanboy. He’s still embarrassed that he failed all the tests to join them. Just an earnest, steadfast, loyal kinda guy. Absolute himbo post Heavensward.
Lumi’a Amariyo
    Main class: Summoner?
    Age: 25
Once a cocksure young Miqo’te, after he was injured in the Calamity he was nursed back to health by a shady group and ended up brainwashed by them. He joins the Scions as a spy, but by chance is reunited with his childhood best friend, which starts to change things inside of him. Prone to drama, be it the showboating of his youth or the guilt he is prone to nowadays. Thinks he’s the smart one between him and his friend, but he really isn’t. Surprisingly also kind of a mom friend.
Eyrithota Soumtoumwyn
    Main class: unsure, maybe Dragoon?
    Age: 20
Entlona, a timeline to the left. Obsessed with stories of adventure and heroics, she left to follow in her parents footsteps and join the Maelstrom. She’s eager and tries very, very hard to be friendly, but sometimes her energy fails her. Better at small talk and paying attention to people then Entlona, but still bad at reading tone and prone to distraction. Far smarter than people assume her to be at first glance. Would think Entlona is just about the most boring nerd she’s ever met, which is saying something since she grew up in Sharlayan. Entlona would think she’s an obnoxious ditz who is far too eager to be called a Warrior of Light. It’s probably a good thing they never meet.
