OKAY SO! Yes!! Leo was raised by big mama, and the others, by Splinter~ So I suppose I'd consider it a separated AU! :)

Not gonna reveal toooo much on Splinter atm cause I actually have a bit of a whole mini-arc thing for him planned, he may be filling in his role of absent father once more guys im sorry- /lh

The others were told to get some of their own experience out at sea, But obviously, the only knowledge they have of it is through what stories Splinter has shared with them and the minimal training he's taught em. very bare-bones stuff. So they are kinda just out there wandering with no real goal or idea of what to actually do

Until they find leo that is!!

Despite finding him, the uh, the guys... don't actually know that leo..is their brother...YET!! YET!

And vice versa, Leo just saw these guys and was like

"Oh, this lot looks cool~ and i am desperate for a crew and im alone out here and kinda sad and ihavenoideawhatimdoingOHGOD- so uh, join me? :)"

totally unbeknownst to him that they are his bro's/that he even HAS brothers. As IF big mama would ever give him that type of hope yk? ;)

the three already know April too, she joins later on after the ship pulls into a shipping port and finds her trying to pick a fight with a rouge mayhem who stole her boot.

Hello and sorry for this but you've triggered my trap card ™️ with that Furina post.

Basically what it comes down to is that the entire demo is fake ,not because it's not real, but because it's a play!

The whole demo is a show , with Furina of Fontaine as its star, The camera follows her and rarely deviates,but it's also lying to the audience.

The first lie in the demo is to do with her title as the archon of Fontaine, as she is regaled with several titles, but her people don't respect her as much as they view her as a celebrity, someone whose only purpose is to entertain.

The second lie in the demo is the scene with Clorinde, where Furina steps up to fight an enemy that even the champion duelist herself can't handle! Of course the great hydro archon is stronger than her subordinates hahahaha! only for the enemy in question to be revealed to be a blubberbeast, on land, I don't think it's necessary to mention how harmless it is, Clorinde, being used to Furina's antics can do nothing but watch on.

We are then presented with the support actors of the play, being her three little friends, she introduces them to us but she never leaves the frame, they don't take the spotlight that easily.

in the scene where she's swinging,each swing she takes she mimics other archons, the color of the background changes to signify elements , while a character changing sound effect also plays between each swing, She swings like Nahida does in her idle animation, then she plays the lyre like Venti, she takes on the same pose as Ei when she's meditating, and lastly she throws mora for Zhongli.

Therein lies the third lie, being that she's not an archon, not really, not by archon standards anyway,even The Knave thought so, so she mimics other archons to appear like them, additionally,the scene doesn't include a part for herself, because there is no "archon" for her to mimic.

Then we see her second form, the one that has the healing creature instead of the three little animals, the creature itself is never named, it barely has some time on the screen, it's even lower than a support character, it takes the backseat while Furina attacks the enemies, as opposed to how the three little animals were shown a lot more clearly.

This is to symbolize that there are 2 Furinas(not literally) , 1 who is always in the spotlight, boisterous, bratty, showoffish, and loud, and the one that's always hidden because she's not what the first Furina is, but how much of the first is the second?and how much of the second is the first?

After that, the show within a show begins, Furina takes an even more influential role in it, becoming the director! Not only is she the most important character in the play,but she also controls it entirely,She records Charlotte,the one who's always behind the camera,creates improbable but amusing scenes of Childe being chased by melusines, Navia and her group arresting Neuvillette, Lyney's and Lynnette's places being switched, removing Freminet's helmet only to find it full of water, and Clorinde and Wriothesley having a face off.

Then we're presented with her elemental burst, in which Furina grabs the stage and literally throws it in the air, but the stage doesn't disappear,her light covers the edges of the screen, the whole world as we see it has become her stage.

The camera focuses on her as chaos rages on around her, she's having cake, then the "actors" all raise their arms together after the climactic scene,the show within a show ends,the curtains fall, and Furina and her animal friends take a bow, and a second curtain falls to end the show that was containing the one before.

Additional notes,the song that was playing at the second part of the demo is in french it's lyrics are as follows.

excellent summary of what was going on! also made me properly realise we saw Furina becoming a director, rather than an actress 6.6

Also yeah, what's up with the oceanid part of her skill? supporting actor symbolism considering there aren't any more oceanids in fontaine is interesting too

Plus the whole thing with her not being viewed as an archon properly, either by her citizens or by herself, especially considering that she didn't get a swing segment

Although, I've seen theories that the "movie scenes" (childe getting hunted by the melusines, etc)(HILARIOUS btw) are supposed to represent the previous archon quests; does this mean anything for the fact Furina literally decapitated Freminet.......

do you have good reccs for Alastor/Rosie or Rosie/Vox fics since you sorta started that whole thing (well it feels like you did I never read any before yours but it lit my brain on fire)

my brain is also on fire about them, although it looks like mine is one of two rosie/vox fics in existence, but the other is a really lovely au called There's No Blue Monday In Your Sunday Clothes by @verbalsomaticmaterialgirl that is utterly delightful, so i'd absolutely recommend checking it out!!

for radiorose though, i haven't found any fics yet that are really to my tastes, though there's a good amount of them out there! and who knows, maybe i'll be inspired to write a continuation of time has changed the metaphor eventually -- we'll see!!

How good at flirting is Lindsey? Specifically when she's flirting with Bluma.

Good. Very good LOL. She's very charismatic + knows how to get interest from people! It's easy to tell when she Doesn't want to be around you because she just Won't show that side of herself + will prob ignore you.

She knows what buttons to press with Bluma. Lindsey loves giving her nicknames, whispering little things in her ear when they're out in public, brushing/combing her fingers through Blu's hair, stuff like that haha. Blu's very romantic, so Lin isn't able to do...everything typically under that umbrella (like write poetry or cook) but she can sure give her a lot of physical affection + acts of service (Both Blu loves). Uhhh when it comes to like...general flirting, yeah Lin just sits there all pretty + pulls up her skirt a bit LOL! I can imagine the first time she would try to flirt with Blu she'd be pretty forward w/a bit of awkwardness bc she genuinely really likes Bluma, in and out. haha!

ok so there’s something I have to share in reply to your post, I completely agree that canon Inuyasha with a stable upbringing would work hard in school because manga Inuyasha was quite clever. To add to that, there was this data book that came with the manga and while how canon it is can be debated (these fact books sometimes aren’t reviewed by the manga author) the funniest thing stated in the data book was the intelligence levels. You know who the dumbest characters were, according to the book? The wolf demon trio 😂

So I’m imagining Koga and his two followers in the corner of class, getting ready to ace the test to win against Inuyasha, and being told they wrote their name wrong.

omg sorry for the late response!!! honestly the wolf demon trio being the dumbest ones...checks out i'm afraid. one of the scenes that i remember most often with them is when koga leaves inuyasha and the gang with juromaru and kageromaru and ginta goes "you know...isn't kagome with inuyasha?" and koga bonks him on the head and goes "why didn't you tell me?" they're so hilarious.

i'm just thinking of the scene you wrote out...koga and inuyasha running to the rank board to see who did better and koga's score is a zero because his dumbass didn't write his name on the paper in his haste to finish first. cue inuyasha shadowboxing in the bathroom like that one kaguya-sama scene and being absurdly delighted for the rest of the day LMAO

Ough that’s a fun question, especially considering my main sequencer oc Beverley has never seen the sun proper! cane user ranpo,, i like the idea of him using a cane for balance-related issues so you will absolutely see him walking around without his cane just purposefully falling into people. he does this to kunikida when he's decided kunikida has been working for too long. he also just does it whenever he wants attention. he tries to do it to chuuya in the book but chuuya dodges on instinct and ranpo just. topples over. chuuya laughs and walks away and then comes back five minutes later like hey do you actually need help up. he didn't he was just pouting bc of all the people to successfully dodge him, he didn't think it would be chuuya

🦾 A disability headcanon

i just decided this literally yesterday but i'm giving lucy my unexplained back pain🤝 she can't really wear necklaces or purses or anything with thin straps for extended periods of time bc it irritates her back and makes it start stinging (imagine like a sunburn). when she first starts working at the cafe, the apron she has to wear really irritates it bc she works such long shifts but she does her best to power through until she ultimately wrecks any tolerance she had, making it so she can hardly go even an hour wearing any sort of necklace/purse/apron/even tanktops and bras before the pain is unbearable. for lucy, the issue is probably a result of the abuse she suffered growing up

lucy and dazai friendship i need it need it SO BAD i think. i think chuuya and yosano have both been trying to get dazai to let them paint his nails and/or do his makeup for years but the first person he lets paint his nails is actually lucy. she has an arrangement of bright gaudy colors and dazai is like i want all of them and so she paints each of his nails a different color and she is forever smug that she convinced dazai by just offhandedly mentioning her nail polish collection meanwhile chuuya has been pestering him about it since they were fifteen

most people fall within the "if you even think about touching me prepare to meet an agonizing demise" camp, but loved ones have Approved Hugging Privileges. she'll still roll her eyes the whole time, but she's bluffing and they know it.

feeding is a big affection/intimacy thing for her too - she has the unbondable merit and as a thin-blood her vitae isn't potent enough to bond others, so she's doubly immune to blood bonds but still incredibly selective about who she feeds and feeds from: just the coterie, tara, and a few (exactly 2) close friends/allies.

tara has also unlocked secret bonus displays of affection, including del's love for being little spoon, having her hair played with, and pet names

Also her gaining powers to control the mist. I feel like that it wasn’t looked into that much. Like that’s a pretty OP power.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

Ok- so hear me out like just any dystopian/ apocalypse sorta universe not really that specific. Actually I want to put all characters into these universes😭. I personally love that stuff, and I’d love to see how she’d survive in those circumstances. (I love myself a good zombie apocalypse au)

Well a less intense one is probably anything in the Ghibliverse.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I have a few but I’ll just say three:

I had this one for a long time. Hazel being a horror artist. Along with sketching portraits and landscapes. But her specialty is horror. More specifically horror creatures art.

She likes laser tag. I actually read this in a fic 😭😭 and thought it’d be cute. Just her winning everytime, like a 30 game streak.

That hazel glows golden whenever she uses her powers. Specifically her eyes, strands of hair and any freckle she has.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

I think Leo is. I mean it’s already basically canon. But I feel like it could’ve done more than it already did.

And just in general, Hazel and Leo kinda share a personal bond now. And I think they’re the perfect besties.
