Now that I've graduated college and kinda fallen off of drawing for myself, I really want to get back to the basics. Despite having a Bachelors of Science In Industrial Design, I still don't know how to render metal properly and it is a my great shame as a Transformers fan.

Oh nonnie, if only you could see my working timeline document!! It alone is 16 pages long and that with less of 1/4 of it fleshed out.

As of right this second, the i'll ride series goes as follows

i. i'll ride in this life with you (1986-1988) ii. unnamed but centered on the Gulf War (1989-1991) iii. ask the lonely (1998-2002) - this will be high school Bradley iv. an unnamed bradley-centric fic (~2000) - college Bradley v. unnamed (years undecided) - war on terror, not mav/ice centric vi. separate ways (2004-2006) vii. danger zone viii. more than a feeling

danger zone will be The Mission but I need to tweak it because the movie timeline really doesn't make any sense for multiple reasons, mostly because you literally cannot be a Lieutenant in the US Navy for 10+ years they will kick your ass out but I digress.

this also assumes that my muse cooperates of course, but I have decent chunks of each of the above written. It's subject to change for obvious reasons but that's the current plan! (and no, they will not be as long as i'll ride, she's a behemoth)

someone commented on a youtube video of a Tori concert I watched tonight that the reason her concerts are so quiet is because she makes you feel like she’s looking directly at you when you’re there, there’s this intense intimacy she creates in the room, and even though everyone there obviously knows every lyric, no one is singing along: we’re all just spellbound, entranced.  It’s like what I imagined church is supposed to be like, being present and aware while you let the spirit wash over you.  You know the words, you know the scripture, you can recite is as easily as the pastor can, but not in the same way, not with that same delivery, and you keep going because it’s a little different every time, and you get something wholly different from the experience.  

It’s true, i stopped worrying about having someone to attend a Tori show with in 2007.  It’s never about anyone but me and Tori.  I love the peace, I love the quiet, I love the enchanting spell she weaves.  Sometimes it’s like you can hear her every breath because no one else in the room wants to breathe lest they interrupt this ethereal thing happening on the stage

Idk how to explain it, but seeing Voice of the Hunted going from fearing the Princess to wanting to help after seeing her really hits hard. He spent the whole Beast and most of The Den chapter desperately trying to prevent you from being eaten or killed by her

But when he sees what she's become, he feels sympathy for her. Despite his previous fear, he wants to help her instead
