I’m thinking about tears of the kingdom again while watching afterthought’s video on how they handled the sequel and I’m sitting here thinking, you know what would have been good?
Like I love ganondoodle’s take with addressing the difference in the gloom and how it related to the shiekah tech, don’t get me wrong.
But if they wanted to give us Wild doing the adventure again, they could have just.
Sent Link back.
Instead of sending back Zelda, send Link. Make Rauru less OP maybe? and have a version of Link that has been massively damaged and is now stranded in the past with no master sword, no shiekah tech, no walking armory of OP weapons or fairy-blessed armor, and a 10 thousand year old version of the guy he just killed, except this one is a strategist with an army instead of a feral dust cloud with a possessed army of half-rotted tech.
Give us Link having to fight his way back up from the top, facing older and more dangerous versions of the monsters he knows and staring up at floating islands that he’s never seen before.
Everyone he meets is new, but most are hauntingly familiar, and maybe a few of the older beings, like the Deku Tree, even recognize that he’s out of place here.
Give us more weird battle strategy stuff like the siege on Gerudo, except this time, it’s helping a group of Gerudo at an oasis protect their fledgling trade camp from Gibidos or even helping the king of Hyruke repel an enemy invasion of a fort.
Give us Link helping a Zora sage protect her temple from a corrupting spirit that threatens her home and hunting down what could be poisoning the Gorons, sneaking through with potions made from half-familiar ingredients.
So much of TOTK is spent telling us that Ancient Things are returning, but they could have given us so much of that by just sending Link to the past. We could have avoided the awkward ‘everyone only kind of knows this kid who saved the kingdom that they definitely met and interacted with significantly’ AND it would have left the perfect opening for Queen “massive fucking history nerd” Zelda to find traces of Link in the little surviving history and going to the dragons or the Deku Tree or the goddesses themselves to try and pull him back to her time, but failing due to her lack of skill with her time powers, only serving to link their souls, but needing to do more before she could pull him back. It would have given her an opportunity to see her interact with her kingdom and see how much she did or did not rely on Link to help her navigate the world. Everyone’s stilted conversations make much more sense if they’re talking to royalty rather than a half-feral knight.
Now she’s the one who has to prove herself to the koroks with all their puzzles and maybe you could even have the shrines be Zonai tests of intellect and Link learns things or gains abilities, some of which he can’t use, but Zelda can through their soul link by connecting at dragon shrines that survived to present day in a system similar to the dragon tears.

TOTK Diary
So I dediced to put down my experience of playing tears of the kingdom, including my thoughts and theories and just...random funny things hat happened and I want to write down for the heck of it. This first post was my first day playing and contains spoilers up to reaching the first stable after leaving the forgotten sky island!
So first things first, before you actually wake up on the island there is a small passage you get to spend with zelda nerding out and all that time I‘m just there and like: Zelda? Zelda? Zelda, sweety, where is MY shiekah slate? It’s meant to be the heroes tool. You have your PurahPad now, where is my shiekah slate then? See those murals you’re geeking out about? There is coarse rubble in front of the places you can’t see, but if I still had the BOMB MODULE of MY shiekah slate then I could just easily bomb it free and you can analyze those as well!
I understand of course that it is meant to make us start from the very beginning again but dang that was a bit frustrating. Maybe the devs should have made the rubble not look like you can breakt it. Or maybe we’ll be able to come back to that place and destroy the rubble then and see the hidden murals? I hope it’s the latter one!
So apparently the royal line of hyrule was founded by a zelda and a zonai, did I get that right? Why were the zonai called “savage” then? All very mysterious, I’m eager to find out!
Why did the hand suddenly become limp, but was then able to save Link?
Now fun fact about my first death after waking up: I spooked one of the running sky birbs and it charged at me and threw me off the island.
So Rauru was seen as corporeal when in the trailer talking to Zelda, when you meet him as Link in the game he’s a ghost. My current theory is that Zelda is truly in the past right now because of that.
The abilities...I mean who am I kidding? You will be able to do sooo much bullshit with it, I already can’t wait. And now all the stuff you get to collect on your journey will actually have a bit of more usability. Cuz let’s be real, you only used the durian or hearty ingredients for cooking for the heal, and then the ability-inducing ones. That’s it. Now you can boost your weapons with it, as well. I do have to get used to them, though. It gives you so much freedom that I feel overwhelmed at it sometimes and it takes some time to learn what I need and what I can and can’t do.
I had a BOULDER fused to my shield and was able to break stuff with it by “blocking” by the way. Very useful, would do it again!
It makes me sad that the Zonai are apparently all dead now? At least when you talk to Rauru on the island whenever you find him in different places strongly suggest that there are no Zonai left at all :(
I’m not sure if I like the “I need to get to my friend” quests from the koroks, tbh. On the one hand, it’s a cute way to get 2 korok seeds that feels more rewarding story-wise. On the other hand you got to spend a lot of time to actually DO it that I’m like “Oh no...how many of those are there?” On the forgotten sky island, I found 2 of those, so it doesn’t bode well for the game tbh lol. Also also, actually actaully: I think the Dandelion Korok is my new arch nemesis. I already found two and I just hate them.
I am SO grateful that the cave entrances are actually marked on the map you have NO idea. Botw actually made me feel like I have an okay sense of direction. With all these sky islands and caves in totk....I feel like I will loose my way a LOT. I wish you can upgrade your map to go from one “height” to a different one, so that you can actually see each “level” as it is instead of the whole thing. That would help a lot.
Some of the energy carge stuff still confuses me a bit cuz I have yet to need to use/do it? So I used energy cores to get some capsules. I don’t think I will regret it.
I MISS THE PARAGLIDER WHEN WILL IT BE BACK?
I saw that you can fuse things with the master sword!??!?!!? Like, the game tells you that it’s too damaged at the moment to do so but apparently, it’s at least a possibility?!?!?!?
So again you have to have 4 shrines to get a blessing by praying, so I’m currently wondering if there are 120 shrines again? More? Less?
I am by the way absolutely in awe of how they justified Link starting from scratch again with the malice seeping into his arm and weakening him to the minimum, and whenever you finish a shrine and get a blessing a bit of it seeps out of Link again so Link also gets to be stronger again. It so simple but ingenious, I love it!
When I got down to Hyrule, I was hellbent on goint to the quest marker in the hopes of getting the paraglider asap...but then I saw a tower-like structrue and some shrines and also a stable nearby so i went the other direction lmao.
I met someone who worships Hudson and helped him out, saved someone stuck in a WELL and also got a cave pointed out at me from someone else....and when I tried entering the cave there was a BUNCH of monsters that I didn’t know that immediatley saw me so I turned around and was like “nope, gotta go” and went to the stable instead.
Of course, the very FIRST night down from the island and in Hyrule again, you know what had to happen, do you? BLOOD MOON! I play with the japanese audio, so keep that in mind when I say i really love her poem/rhyme for it, it so haunting imo.
And that’s it for my first day playing totk!

I went adventuring yesterday. There was a con about 2 hours away this weekend and I wasn’t originally planning on going, but I learned that Patricia Summersett (the voice actor for Zelda in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity and Tears of the Kingdom) would be there and I figured going to greet her as Link would be fun.
It was.
She did a double take when she first saw me and complimented my cosplay. I had nothing to get signed so I decided last minute to have her sign the shield I made. We chatted a bit and she took a photo of my sword (!!) and she asked me if I wanted any particular quote. My brain was half blown so no, I didn’t. She nods and started to sigh my shield.
I heard she knows Hylian, and will sometimes sign stuff in Hylian. She is also a leftie, so I could not really see what she was writing until she was done. And I could see it was Hylian.
“It says Hero of Hyrule.”
Tumblr media
So that was amazing and we got photos. Her handler nerded out over getting to use my Shiekah Slate.
Tumblr media
THEN.
THEN.
She goes is it ok if I take photos of you and your stuff for my files and I’m like OF COURSE so my Link is on her phone! She took my Instagram handle! I have still not recovered, this is so fucking cool.
I also got to meet up with a friend who wore her gorgeous royal dress to get signed. Patricia spoke to her in Zelda’s voice.
We took a couple photos because this was the first time we have gotten these two cosplays in the same room. Rebecca is incredibly talented and the beading on that dress is incredible. She offered to collab, too, and this is super exciting for me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So incredibly fun day, I’m so glad I went.

Favorite things about TotK so far
The Yiga Clan continuing to be Team Rocket style villains. They've turned it up to 11 now and are impersonating talking cuccos and pretending to have a 'regal friend who definitely needs blonde men to go ridiculously out of their way to help her'. They are trying so hard to catch Link like a Pikachu and are entirely incompetent at it.
Link being the in-universe version of Tony Hawk. People who know him recognize him but everyone else is just like 'hey, you're named Link and kinda match the description of a famous swordsman by that name, isn't that a funny coincidence?' and Link seems to be going 'yeah, weird, happens all the time'. Which he probably appreciates since he doesn't seem the type to enjoy fame.
My horsies from Breath of the Wild are available for me to check out of the stables like an inter-library lone.
Building stuff with both the fuse and the ultrahand abilities. I can make ridiculous weapons and bizarre contraptions. But I really need a bigger battery capacity for some of my vehicle plans. (I'll get there)
The reintroduction of the Sages. I've only scratched the surface of that, but it does seem that the Sages are back in some capacity and possibly calling out to their successors.
The Fire Temple. It's in the depths, the creepy new underground opened up for the exploration, and it's got several levels to cover. It's a mine cart maze and I'm enjoying figuring it. I've got 3 of 5 gongs rung and need to make more depths specific recovery items before I head back down to finish it up. It's still not as complicated as pre-BotW dungeons, but it does capture the feel of a Zelda dungeon better than the BotW's fire dungeon so I'm pretty pleased.
Speaking of the depths, they are creepy in a fun and fascinating way. I've already found the Fire Temple and the remains of the old Eldin mines (and a bunch of statues). What else is hiding in the dark? Cannot wait to find out
Those guys hanging out at the goron region's stable who most likely misheard Zelda say 'independence' as 'in underpants' and are now running around in their underwear. They're hilarious.
The caretaker robots who have developed fun personalities in the thousands of years they've been active and alone. Some are helpful, others snooty, some sarcastic...
Purah continuing to be a complete nerd. My aro headcanons for her abound. She's cannibalized the Shiekah tech into her Purah towers, Purah Pads, and various other tech. While, yeah, it bugs me that we're not seeing the remains of the old shrines and towers from BotW, it makes sense that the only remaining tech that's important is what Purah (and Robbie) have reinvented so that's all we see of it. And the towers Purah made are clearly made up of relocated towers from BotW, so there is that. (and having the old shrines hanging around with all the new shrines might've gotten confusing, I suppose...)
The new item system that allows for attaching things to arrows or throwing them in place of weapons. Was it easier to just pick an arrow type in BotW? Well... yes. But it's so much more fun to attach stuff to arrows and shoot them.
My new journalist Rito friend who watches Link fight the Yiga and knows Link is searching for Zelda, but still lands firmly in the 'could not identify Tony Hawk on site' crowd.
The Great Fairies + Malanya have moved locations and are now demanding things other than money to open up their giant flower buds and help. The world has gotten scarier, money alone ain't gonna cut it compared to food and music.

I might have inadvertently created a LOZ au
It’s called Descendants of Hyrule and it’s a HEAVY Chaosverse WIP
All you need to know is descendants are here, Hyrule doin good, and all three Triforce welders are kids who are somewhat opposites of their ancestors… and friends.
Chaos ensures, that’s why it’ a Chaosverse AU, baby.
ANYWAYS, the three Triforce users/protags. In short: Baby boy, wholesome Zelda child, and Amina’s battle enthusiast. In long..
Tumblr media
This is Benjamin, the mute and paranoid scapegoat of the thieving Hylian children, the Keese (though, he’s more of a Keaton, if you ask me.) Descendant of the Knight of Time, and has the Triforce of Courage (the irony is that he’s a SCAREDY-CAT, albeit for good reasons.) He lives in a big, hollow tree near the Koroko forest, heavily prefers daggers over swords, and is pretty much baby. Able to dodge really well when under pressure and climb trees easily.
Tumblr media
This is Princess Sarah of Hyrule, though she goes by Thorn more after hearing about thornberries from the Shiekah. She has the Triforce of Wisdom, but she doesn’t always make the right choice (due to her overthinking it, she has a 50/50 chance.) She’s always seen away from the castle, helping Ben with his rough life, and being a honored knight of the Beast Prince. Able to identify just about any place she knows from a vague description and use ✨the light.✨
It’s not truly Legend of Zelda without the Triforce of Power, so let me introduce you to…
Tumblr media
Kelbris Dragmire, THE PRINCE OF THE HYRULIAN BEASTS! He bears the Triforce of Power, though he tends to be a monster nerd. (Who can blame him? The land’s full of mystical wildlife!) He’s a self-exiled Gerudo, but it doesn’t bother him much as he studies and fights all sorts of beats, and uses a abandoned Yiga Clan base as his Base of operations. Able to wield stuff heavier than the normal kid can and communicate with beats.
Yes all of their names are from the LoZ ARG Ben Drowned, if you don’t know what it is, check it out but be wary of scares.
Also here is picrew link!

So the full list of Blackscales in Lambda's time as a teenager is thus:
Raithyon – Clan leader. Father of Lambda and Reownha, called "Pops." Sekkala – Staff officer. Aunt of Lambda and Reownha, called "Auntie." Furrele – Priest and healer. Noticed the spark of sorcery in Lambda and has taught her how to use that magic to heal. Cedric – Tank (armor master) and combat instructor. Knows some of Hyrule's military tactics. Madre – Driver and escape expert; only other remaining Blackscale who remembers Sableflame; Mother of Bran, and eventually his sisters Harana and Nuthra. Riakshin: Blackmailer and investigator. Son of a now deceased escapee of Sableflame. Moko: Scout and ambusher. Son of an escapee of Sableflame who still lives in Rito Village with his wife, incognito. Eventually, father of Vrondiss. Nethir: Infiltrator and smooth-talker. Sometime law nerd. Handy with performance and magic, but not so much as Quespa. Nethox: Tinkerer and weapons expert. Adopted into the Blackscales after he was framed for a crime he didn't commit. Eventually, father of Mozikth. Horzai: Assassination expert. Adopted into the clan to gain their protection (strength in numbers, after all) after she racked up quite a bounty on her head. Lambda: Raithyon's daughter. Magical assistance and Raithyon's successor in training. Eventually, mother of Mu. Reownha: Raithyon's daughter. Pickpocket and staff officer in training. Eventually, mother of Direcris. Quespa: Magic expert, the Blackscales' problem solver for most issues arcane. Lambda's instructor in magic, though her magic knowledge doesn't translate so well. –Noncombatants. Spouses and children– Pyxrin: Noncombatant and Raithyon's wife. A well-off Shiekah from a town in Akkala. Rezena: Noncombatant and Madre's wife, a Shiekah. Often disappears from the Blackscales' camp, but always comes back safe with extra supplies, and has kept their secrets faithfully. Gargax: Noncombatant and Riakshin's husband, a Hylian. Keeps a safehouse for the Blackscales to crash in on occasion. Bran: Noncombatant. A child born to Madre recently. Seems to be part Hylian with his black hair and brown eyes, though no one knows who his father is, as he was conceived at a brothel.
Second generation, when Lambda is grown up:
Lambda: Clan leader. Wields powerful divine magic. Reownha: Staff officer. Intelligent and quick, often acquires extra rupees by picking pockets. Bran: Cleanup crew (Evidence removal). Madre's first/eldest. Harana: Scout and eagle's eye. Madre's second/middle child. Nuthra: Driver, escape expert. Madre's third/youngest. Vrondiss: Cleanup crew (witness killer). Moko's son. Mozikth: Weapons expert/tinkerer. Nethox's son. Direcris: Staff officer and mastermind in training. Reownha's son. Mu: Healer and magical expert. Lambda's daughter. Rathkran: Bard and charlatan taken in by the Blackscales when he had a bounty on his head for ripping people off; Reownha's husband. (There's also Lambda's husband but I think he needs redone (again) tbh. We will see.)
Not listing Bran's kids (Fennec and Felicity) cause he never wanted them to join the clan, also I don't have third generation Blackscales. Shrug.
As for what happens to the first generation (Raithyon's): I imagine they were able to retire safely in some corner of Hyrule, building a little settlement. It is their goal to settle down and build a new home, after all. Lambda and Reownha keep the criminal clan going because it's what they're good at, and sometimes you gotta steal from assholes who have too much. Like nobles. Either that or they mostly die some years after the calamity. Idk.

BotW after the Calamity
I think they settle in Hateno, simply for the fact that Link already has a house there. They live together for a while. People draw their own conclusion about that, but they don't really care what people think. They need each other, especially in those first few years, just to remind each other that their 100 year battle is over now.
Zelda took of the job of being Hateno's mortician at some point. Probably because people kept asking her to pray over their dead relatives- since she's a descendant of the goddess- and that eventually bleed into helping with the body itself.
Since the kingdom is in shambles, there are very few people who actually have the time to learn and practice medicine. Zelda, who's always been really into biology, and already deals with bodies a lot, becomes the de facto local doctor. She's is the one who people go to for medical help, because she’s the one with the best understanding of human anatomy in the town.
Link starts tutoring kids in swordpaly. Children in Hateno, and other places he travels. Because I like to think he keeps traveling often not really one to be tied down to a certain place.
Along with that he takes up a couple kids a year as personal students. They live with him and he tutors them. Subjects range from fighting, wilderness survival, cooking, to applied physics (That's a new headcanon of mine as well- He can figure out how much force he's going to need, in which direction, to get where he wants to go with the stasis rune. If Zelda is the Bio nerd, Link is the physics nerd) Anything that is applicable and relevant to what they're doing that day. Zelda also swings by, because she eventually moves to one of the hoses that Bolson built just down the hill. She teaches the students biology, history, and shiekah tec. He doesn't end having any kids, but his house is constantly filled with former students swinging by for a spar, his current students, Zelda, Paya and Purah, Bolson, the champions if they have time off from running their respective towns. I also like the idea that he might take on boarders. Possibly travelers form Gerudo town, who are looking for work/a husband- they can stay with him. Or random travelers or merchant who are staying for just a few days, and need somewhere to stay while the inn is full. His tutoring is highly sought after, so he could charge a high rate, but his prices are actually very low- he charges for housing them only, and board/tutoring is covered by the kids helping out around the house, hunting for food for dinner, helping him cook, all while they are learning how to do these things. He's a little bit of a tough love teacher, but his students all love him, and all turn out to be very helpful, competent members of their community after they leave.
One of his favorite things to do is right when the kids get there, he takes them to the Great Plateau, and leaves them there for, like, a week. He's like "If I did it with no memories and monsters still running around, you can do it too." It always teaches the kids a lot. (He checks up on them every night, of course, not that they ever see him)
He always has the ultimate "When I was your age, I had to walk up hill to school! both ways!" kind of stories.
Student: "Oh, man, my day was weird."
Link: "Oh, really? Let me tell you about the day I defeated the reincarnation of evil-"

001 for Zelda :)
Thanks for the ask!  :)
001 | Send me a fandom and I will tell you my:
Favorite character:
Saria from Ocarina of Time, and Zelda from Breath of the Wild
Least Favorite character:
Tingle.  ‘nuff said.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon):
- OoT Link x (a grown up) Saria
- TP Link x Midna
- BotW Zelda x Prince Sidon (I’m like the only one who ships them)
- BotW Link x Mipha
- OoT Shiek x Princess Ruto.  Yes, I know Shiek is Zelda (20 year old spoilers!) -- I see her as transgender, being more comfortable as Shiek after growing up as a Shiekah boy (my headcanon is she actually magically changed her gender, it’s not just a disguise), plus she doesn’t get kidnapped as often.  Ruto never forgot that it was Shiek who rescued her from the ice that froze over Zora’s Domain either.
Character I find most attractive:
Tumblr media
Ocarina of Time Link, in all his 90s hero glory, of course! ^^
Character I would marry:
See above.  (hopes my husband doesn’t actually follow my tumblr :P)
Character I would be best friends with:
Breath of the Wild Zelda.  I think it would be fun to go exploring Hyrule together and nerd out over Shiekah tech ^^
a random thought:
I’m a mod at Zelda Universe, the biggest Zelda fansite on the ‘net!  Check it out!
An unpopular opinion:
Sidon sees Link as the big brother he never/almost had, and doesn’t have any romantic interest in him.  (Dodges fish thrown by Link x Sidon shippers)
My Canon OTP:
Are there any actually confirmed pairings in Zelda among the main characters?  Well, I guess close enough would be WindWaker Link and Tetra, when they grow up.
My Non-canon OTP:
OoT Link and Saria.  She’s a sage, they could figure something out!
Most Badass Character:
The Fierce Deity.  If Link had this mask as an adult, he’d smack Demise’s Curse right out of Ganon(dorf)!
Most Epic Villain:
Zant before they revealed just how goofy he was, and he was hijacked by Ganondorf.
Pairing I am not a fan of:
OoT Link x Malon.  I have nothing against Malon as a character, and I know it’s considered canon by a large part of the fandom, since TP Link, OoT Link’s direct descendant, is a rancher, but I just don’t like them as a couple.  Not when Saria seemed to click so much better with Link personality-wise.
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another):
Zant.  He seemed like such a great villain near the beginning of Twilight Princess, and honestly, the story would have been better if Ganondorf hadn’t been in it at all.
Also, TP Zelda, for the writers not having the balls to say she’s Queen Zelda.  If she rules the kingdom, she’s the Queen!  If you want a perpetual princess, the Mushroom Kingdom’s the next warp pipe over!
Favourite Friendship:
TP Link and Midna.  I love how their relationship evolved over the course of the game from reluctant allies, to real cooperation, to genuine respect and friendship.  When Link rides off on Epona at the end of the game, I’m convinced he’s off on another adventure to find his own way into the Twilight Realm, so he won’t be parted from her again.
Character I most identify with:
BotW Zelda.  Believe me, there have been times when I felt like other people weren’t allowing me to pursue my interests, and I totally get her frustration.
Character I wish I could be:
BotW Zelda, free from the burden of queenship and exploring all Hyrule has to offer, without some hanger-on hero!

So my brother and I have recently finally bought together a Switch and a copy of Breath of the Wild to share. The other day, my brother was breezing through the sidequest where Link visits various locations to regain his memories, which got the two of us nerds talking about Link and Zelda. Specifically, if the monarchy/castle system and lifestyle in Hyrule is based on late Medieval Europe (which it looks to be, vaguely), and Link is Zelda’s bodyguard, essentially, what would their lives outside of the plot and memories we see be like (bc my brother and I both really like worldbuilding and I specifically like domestic history and I ruin every fiction I like by overthinking it a lot). So, after a lot of talking between the two of us, I decided to brush up on my knowledge of domestic noble history of the late Middle Ages in Europe, and I would like to share with y’all some facts that might be relevant to note, both in the context of the video game (read: if you’re writing fanfiction or something and don’t want stuff to be super modern and handwaved with “Magic and Shiekah technology yo”) and just as neat things I found in reading.
1. A fun thing about most Medieval European architecture: so, chimneys weren’t a thing yet (unless you were absurdly rich, and even then it’s a hard maybe). Open fires were kept in the middle of a great hall, which was a dining room/living room/bedroom combo. Medieval homes were often very communal, with the people who worked for a more upper-class person living in the house with them. The lower-class folks would make beds of straw in the great hall, while the upper-class folks either had a raised area in the hall with a curtain or wooden partition, or if they were Very Fancy, they had a private upper chamber. This upper chamber would be for the whole noble family (though sometimes richer families had a second room for the eldest son and his family). This essentially served as a lesser hall; noble families would sleep, entertain, and write letters in here (it was a bedroom/living room/home office sort of deal). Relevant to note for the video game: Hyrule Castle is fuckin huge. It looks more like a palace than a castle, in my opinion (and my brother was complaining so much about the bad crenelation lol, but it’s a silly video game so it doesn’t matter). Since the castle is so fuckin huge, and she seems to be the only (therefore eldest) child in the royal family, she’s probably got her own chamber. Also relevant to note: royal guards and chambermaids who were very close to nobility (not the lamer knights and maids who slept in the great hall with the plebs) would sleep on pallets or trundles near the royal bed, in the royal chamber. Zelink fanfiction writers, I trust you can take it from here.
2. So, there was this whole big thing in Medieval Europe that knights pretty much just took orders from other knights. That’s why kings were also knights, and why Europe was spooked when the English King William I “First wore hauberk.” That meant He Was In Charge of the military. So just letting you know, if you’re gonna make Hyrule use the laws of chivalry, if you’re gonna have Link taking direct and official orders from folks they should probably also be other knights (so uh @ fanfic writers that’s also a rule you could break for narrative tension btw, have him disobey another knight in order to do something he thinks should be done).
3. This one’s just a fun fact I learned about Medieval royalty, but if you can somehow figure out a way to shove it into a fanfic or something, I admire your stubborn creativity. Since plumbing wasn’t super common and having to walk aaallll the waaay to the privy was annoying and a lower class thing, royalty often had folks carry around personal toilets for them. So. That’s a thing
Anyway that’s it for Evelyn Overthinks And Reads Too Much

Ok so I’ve been thinking about my headcanon Robbie (aka Geiger) a bit.
I knew that even in human form I wanted him to have Shiekah-mechanical clawrings and a spearhead tail. I just didn’t have any good excuse for it.
Then I remembered he was once canonically attacked by a Malice Guardian, and that got me thinking. What if the attack left his hands and spine deformed?
And he painstakingly worked on mechanical splints for those, that also doubled as weapons? I find that to be a solid enough excuse.
I dunno I’m just nerding out.
