Yet another Au!

So, I had mentioned a slime rancher au in the bowuigi discord, and soon enough me and a couple others were just brainstorming and slapping it together, and this is (one of) the results!

(also tried a different artstyle. its kinda a mix of my usual style and canon lmao)

So Essentially, the bros move in to their own ranch, and their neighboring ranches being home to Bowser, Peach, and Daisy. Daisy and Peach share a ranch, with Peach usually handling the basic care of the slimes and plants (hence why I gave her a more gardener-kinda outfit) while Daisy usually goes exploring for new slimes. their Neighbor, Bowser, mostly specializes in Boom, Fire, Crystal, and Rock slimes, preferring the more volatile ones since they can’t really do much to him. (he’s still a koopa here, mostly cause I just didn’t want to make him human lmao) He’s also best friends with Peach- no romance there or anything.

He ends up meeting the bros when Mario ends up disturbing his boom slimes somehow (either with extremely loud music or something else). The two end up in an argument and there is Immediate dislike between them. Luigi, knowing how intense and... dense, his brother can be sometimes, decides to come over to Bowser’s ranch and apologize for it, and Bowser ends up thinking “alright, his brother’s not bad, so I guess I can tolerate them being my neighbors” and they just slowly befriend each other over time.

As for the slimes, there’s bits of ideas on those too!

Mario seems to attract literally every cat-like slime in existence. He goes for a nap under a tree and then wakes up under a pile of tabby slimes. You turn your back on him and when you look over again he’s got Hunter slimes all over him. He has a single Saber slime that is his baby and definitely spoiled named Pawline. (I headcanon Mario with a Calico cat named Pawline, so this is her in the au I guess XD) Luigi tends to be swarmed by batty and phosphor slimes, mostly as a reference to the Luigi’s Mansion games, but also because Batty Slimes are cute. They don’t swarm him as much as the cat slimes swarm Mario though. He also has a Yolky Slime named Sunny. When the two first saw Sunny Mario wanted to try and cook them because they looked like a giant egg. thankfully, Luigi said no and took Sunny in (and away from the stove). Sunny usually just sits around in the chicken coops, though every now and then you’ll find them Hiding in Luigi’s hat.

Peach has a bunch of Pink Flutter Largos... I don’t think I need to explain my reasoning there LMAO And Daisy has a bunch of tangle slimes, mostly because she thinks their cool, but also their one of the few plant slimes, and well, plants, flowers, daisies... you get the idea... XD

Bowser, since he’s a koopa and essentially heatproof, just isn’t affected by boom slimes and fire slimes. he’s also too big for a vacpack, so he just. picks up a handfull of slimes whenever he needs to move them around. At one Point Luigi is just. watching, as Bowser moves a bunch of boom largos, completely unaffected by the largos exploding in his arms. We were a bit(?) torn on what to do with the Koopalings and junior? Someone suggested that their a bunch of boom slimes that Bowser babies, though Personally I prefer them still being his kids. Maybe at the start of the au their all on a trip with their grandpa kamek? I just find the idea funny that during their talks, Bowser mentions he has kids to Luigi, but doesn’t mention that he has eight. So when they do get back from their trip, Luigi is just stunned at the sheer amount of kids he has lmao

Anyway yeah, that’s.. essentially it I think. I have other ideas so we’ll see if I make more lmao. I won’t write anything for it though, aside from maybe a oneshot here or there. (though I do think there’s at least one person from the server who is writing a fic for the au. Memory ain’t that great...)

Notes:

*Y/n is a single Siren parent

*Y/ns lover was a female named Angela, being human which is where most of Turtles DNA came from

*Turtle actually got their name from their human mother, not siren parent!

Bloodied Romance: Monster hunter Sun and Moon au.

Notes:

*Y/n is a vampire

*Sun and Moon are monster hunters

*Sun and Moon live in the forest at the moment, thankfully

Washed Wishes: Aquarium Sun and Moon au.

Notes:

*Y/n is a siren taken into containment.

*Y/n is not very happy about this.

*Sam and Matt are both their handlers. because they nearly escaped about 15-18 times, give or take.

*Sam does the day shift (9AM-6PM).

*Matt does night shift (11PM-8AM).

*Y/n cannot speak!

Whimsical Waters: Selkie Sun and Moon au.

Notes:

*Y/n is a selkie

*Sundrop and Moondrop are both human.

*Y/n thinks they are just selkie that lost. their skin or something.

*Sundrop thought Moondrop clarified otherwise.

*Moondrop, did in fact not clarify that.

*Y/n got lost from their original seal pack, and in turn got adopted into their current family/pod.

*Inspired by @bones-of-a-rabbit!

Forest Whispers: Photographer Sun and Moon au.

Notes:

*Y/n is a Mothtic, or a moth monster

*Y/n cannot speak english (physically unable), and can barely understand it

*They would probably respond to anything if you call them it enough times, seeing it as a new 'nickname'

*Y/n us also incredibly strong

*Solfer and Mune are not a big fan of this fact, mostly because Y/n can and will carry them around without asking

After Repairs: Repaired daycare Sun and Moon au (plus Eclipse!).

Notes:

*Eclipse, Sunshine and Moondust have separate updated bodies to make things easier

*The kids adore Y/n, and of course Y/n loves them to bits!

*None of the animatronics knew what love felt like, although Sunshine was the most curious, so he obviously noticed and knew what it was first

*Basic daycare attendant × security desk worker

Other/Me: This is an ask blog, so if you have any ideas or curious questions, don't be afraid to ask. I'd mostly do some wholesome fluff, maybe some angst if it fits it better?

These are also all a work in progress, mostly here for you to have fun and imagine with since I won't be writing a fic or anything (mostly due to the fact I suck at writing longer stories but like slow burns).

recently figured out what the fuck was wrong with me and it turns out its everything. me and my friends played a game of "what disorder do i not have according to internet quizzes" and the only thing i failed on was narcissism. so. officially though its adhd and autism (also potentially some kind of anxiety disorder although my psychiatrist added that under her breath so). which. explains a lot.

i hyperfixate on something for either 5 days or 5 months. as of writing this its ace attorney but it could easily change in 3 days.

i have an ao3 and you can pry the link out of my cold dead hands (i think i posted it last year)

im aroace and, like every aroace i've ever met, the persona 5 protagonist is the sexiest man i can imagine

i mostly post my art but i also dabble in insane rambling and random things i noticed in games i like

my favorite game of all time is slime rancher. if you ask me at any given point in time ill say its whatever i last played but. its slime rancher. thats the consistent one. persona 5 was pretty good too. professor layton vs phoenix wright is up there too

my birthday is homestuck day and i found that out when i opened tumblr on my birthday and was bombarded with homestuck fanart.

Haha so the thing about me and fanfic is....for a long time I didn't have an AO3 account, so I didn't have a way to save fics for many years. When I did finally get one, I'd forget to bookmark or keep track of fics I like, and I have the memory of a goldfish that keeps me from remembering some of my faves. So I'll just put in 10 that I do have bookmarked in no particular order😅 (so most of these are Captive Prince related).

As for my name...well...I first made it when I was getting a Twitch account. I wanted it to be metal and magic (as a reference to Undertale), but idk if it was to long or something, because Twitch would only let me type as far as metalandmagi, which I thought was fine too, so I just went with that.

Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy by Aurum_Auri (a great author I repeatedly revisit) is a fantastic Great Pretender fic, and it deserves more love since it's such a small fandom (sugar daddy Laurent/Makoto AU)

A Night On The Town by SteeleStingray is a fun, action oriented Captive Prince fic focusing on Nicaise (modern AU with secret agent Damen/Laurent)...pretty much anything by SteeleStingray is a fun time.

Give Me A Reason To Stay Here by danegen is an adorable modern AU Wei Wuxian/Lan Zhan fic for The Untamed/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation series.

(D)umb (N)erd (A)ttraction by Iaintnosidekick is a modern Rey/Kylo Ren fic where they're two scientists who go from friends to lovers. This is where I out myself as a secret Reylo shipper and that I'm literally playing The Last Jedi in the background as I make this list 😆 There's also one where Rey and Ben are Pokemon Go fanatics that I loved, but I don't have it saved.

When The Sun Is On Again by thickenmyblood is a soul destroying Captive Prince fic that left us all in shambles.

And When You Laugh, My Heart Goes Wiggly (as a slime) by JayJEx is a Raven Cycle/Slime Rancher (Ronan/Adam) fic that I can't believe exists. It married one of my favorite series to one of my favorite games, and I just had to include it because it's also great!

Yellow Joy, Orange Fire, Red Desire by SteeleStingray is a Captive Prince fic that's just a good old fashioned horny joyride. I have no explanation. Again, pretty much all of SteeleStingray's Captive Prince fics are amazing so I could have put all of them on here.
