  The light in the room settles again, the halo going dormant as she lands back on the mattress. She’s shaky and uncertain, kind of torn between breaking out into a fit of laughter and bursting into tears.

 Beatrice is still above her, naked in both body and soul, watching her.

 This time, when she touches Ava’s cheek with her hand, Ava presses into Bea’s palm and kisses her thumb as it brushes over Ava’s bottom lip.

 She wants to say it, wants to scream how much she loves her -   but the fog  is fading away. She can feel and if she can, she knows Bea can too.

 So she keeps quiet, scared of what regrets tomorrow might bring. This isn’t something they can just brush off. It isn’t something Beatrice will be able to brush off. She has vows and commitments and internal struggles with her sexuality that she’s battled for years.

 The halo has a seemingly endless power, but Ava knows it can't fix that.

 Still, in the safety of their bedroom, in the pitch black of night, Beatrice doesn’t pull away.

Plot Summary: Kara leaves for a mission that ends catastrophically, and when she returns, she’s not herself—Kara is gone. All that’s left is Supergirl, last child of Krypton and now Rao’s successor.

Lena’s convinced Supergirl is all that remains, so she closes herself off. But when she cautiously reopens at Alex’s behest, her certainty wavers after every interaction and memory they share.

Then Lena finds there’s more to the tragedy, determined to bring Kara back, but Supergirl begins acting increasingly dislocated.

In your lovely opinion, what's Ava's favorite sex act with Beatrice? Likewise what is Bea's? Who's all about the tongue, the fingers, penetration, the strap etc etc etc

Nice. I think it varies, based on who's feeling what and who wants to top on any given night. They probably start out simple and work up from there. I think Ava likes being on top even if she isn't On Top, either riding Bea or going down on her. I also think that she has trouble showing Bea her back at first, for self-conscious reasons mostly because obviously she trusts Bea. Once they get past that, anything doggystyle is on the table for Ava. Bea takes a little more convincing, but she gets there.

Fingers, mouths, straps, other toys, are all good in Ava’s mind. She loves trying new things. Bea is more reluctant, and doesn't typically care for having a lot of extra bits involved, but she'll happily do it for Ava. They work together to find each other’s limits and talk extensively before they try anything that might test those limits. On simpler nights, Bea loves going down on Ava, like a lot. She's also pretty adept with a strap if that's what Ava wants. It takes some time for her to accept that she wants Ava to use the strap on her, and they don't do it as often, but when the proper mood strikes, she really enjoys it.
