Since anons are putting diffirent types of animals for the baor!creator, what if theres like a snake!creator? I kinda thinking of Baizhu white snake(what was her name again?) and the one who find them is Zhongli, well more like Snake!creator found him instead, this how I was thinking they met.

Zhongli just sipping some tea right? enjoying the sunlight and the chitter or Liyue habor, then suddenly theres smiley/squsiy texture slither around his leg(he panics cuz I heard he hates slimey texture? smt along those lines ig), he looks down and see, a spotless and shiny ass snake slithering around his leg, they made eye contact, but the snake only continues slithering, Zhongli face is disgusted since well, slimey, but he was gentle when removing the snake and helding it face to face, they both held eye contact, before, the snake lick his nose, and Zhongli's thoughts after the action 'holy shit that was adorable' after that, you can always see Zhongli with a snake slithering around his arms, and shoulders

Her name (Baizhu’s snake) is Changsheng! And I love big snakes so… Reticulated python! The larges recorded was 32 ft and 9 1/2 in (9 m and 98.22 cm)! Itto is about 6 ft 4 in (1 m and 93.04 cm), so a Reticulated python is around 9 and 9/10 Itto’s ໒꒰ྀི´ ˘ ` ꒱ྀིა!

Hearing screams and feeling something running across his leg was not how Zhongli wanted to spend his time.

The way this man was considering just spearing the damn thing beneath his was… it was honestly scary. Children ran from the sight of his glare.

Whatever it was it was long. And slimy. And it moved his pants legs up so he could feel it on his skin.

Not fun.

He finally had enough and looked underneath the table, grabbing what he held thought to be the head.

And he did grab the head!

It required both hands, however.

Because what he pulled up was probably one of the largest non magical snakes he had ever seen in his life. And he’s lived a long ass time mind you.

His first genuine thought was ‘Changsheng’s cousin?’ And then he realized how dumb that sounded.

And then you licked his nose.

New best friend.

You couldn’t.. wrap around him. But you followed him. Closely. People of the Harbor honestly thought it fit Zhongli to have a regal snake following him as a companion. He was slick and snake like, after all.

Despite your… largeness however, Zhongli did like it whenever you wrapped around him to the best of your abilities. It was nice to feel the squeeze of a fellow reptilian.

When he found out that for some reason you could stomach human foods and liquids? Oh you know this man was on top of having you try out different teas and seeing if you tell the difference.

And when Hu Tao met you? You became the scarf of her as well. She loves patting your head and tries her damndest to get to understand the importance of selling coffins and getting people into them.

Seeing you preform tasks for the Funeral Parlor isn’t unusual, but the one place you can’t go is the Bubu Pharmacy. You and Changsheng fucking hate each other.

Snakes are super territorial after all.

She’s not allowed around Hu Tao or Zhongli, you’re not allowed around Baizhu or Qiqi.

Fair is fair but you really wanted to meet Qiqi and Baizhu.

Xiao has mixed feelings about you. On the one hand: Yay! Zhongli is happy! On the other: Zhongli is getting softer and softer damn-

That all changed when you wrapped around him.

Now the Adeptus protect you.

The way you would swallow a mob or thief in front of them and they’d just stare because you technically just committed murder.

Yeah, your everyone’s - minus Baizhu and Qiqi - new best friend.

Sorry if this is bad, I didn’t much know what to do… I feel bad- Anyway, I do hope you enjoyed it though ૮꒰ྀི∩´ ᵕ `∩꒱ྀིა!

The canvas is pretty crowded but I’m happy with it. I had to miniaturize some creators though, cuz some were too large

I love those rough pencils, man

Also I didn’t realize the tiger creator was probably supposed to be a normal tiger until I finished

Wolflord had to go mini and pop up from a portal to fit lol, and the hydra was sentenced to a bucket. I’m so creative :) melusine was hardest to draw because of ELBOWS wait I take that back, the weasel was hardest-I could never get it right

Overall I’m confident about this drawing 😊

Yes of course! I'm so glad you did, and I'd be more than happy to do some more posts about Mario game scenes!

Now, originally I had thought to keep it to more obscure games, or at least games that aren't talked about as much, like Super Mario 3d world. But I'm very stressed and exhausted at the moment, and I'm indulging with one of my favourite Mario games, so perhaps....

Overly Analyzing Luigi's Mansion 3; Mario Rescue cutscene

All screenshots taken from this video (hence the watermark, sorry, I cant record it myself)

So, in order to rescue Mario, the player has to defeat the hotel owner, Hellen Gravely in her office. Each boss ghost has their own unique animation before being sucked into the Poltergust G-00, and hers is to demand Luigi pause long enough for her to apply her make up. Queen moment, if I'm to be honest.

Luigi also has a celebration animation after he defeats ghosts and bosses, and here he tosses his hat off in celebration. It's such a cute moment; he's been constantly terrified in this haunted hotel, but he's so proud of himself for conquering this particularly scary obstacle!

Now, the main reason I'm looking at this scene today. Luigi uses the Dark-Light feature of the Poltergust to rescue Mario from the portrait he was trapped in. Said portrait was hanging up in Hellen's office, and she used it to taunt Luigi to come fight her to save his brother, I should add.

Mario falls from the painting and is seemingly dazed and confused at first. Unlike in the first game, the portraits here are frozen, unmoving images, so it takes Mario a moment of checking out his body and arms to realize he's free.

The second he looks up at Luigi, though, he instantly lights up. I recommend you check out the scene for yourself, because the way he bounces up and stretches his arms out as he goes "OH YEAH!" is so cute and expressive. They really outdid themselves with the cutscenes in this game.

Mario runs over to Luigi, exclaiming "Way to go, Luigi!" and his joyful energy is immediately returned by Luigi. Luigi spreads his arm, happily exclaiming "Mario!" while Mario jumps into his arms and just. Look at them.

Look at them.

(I had to find a gif of this specific moment because screenshots would not do it justice)

I can't even begin to describe how happy this makes me. Mario jumping right into Luigi's arms like it's so natural and common for them to do, Luigi's leg lifting up as he catches Mario, Luigi holding Mario up for a split second, Luigi's loud "MARIO, hey bro!" it's so tender and wholesome. This is the kinda sibling energy I wanna see with them!

There's so much display and affection and trust on display here in just a few seconds of animation. And there's just something about Luigi being the one to do the hug lifting that's just, so cute. Chefs kiss, no notes, perfect scene.

Luigi sets Mario back down on his feet, and I love that this shot allows us to see Mario's perspective. While this is overall a very joyful and upbeat scene, I think it's nice to also show Mario getting some much needed comfort after his third time being rescued from a portrait in the Luigi's Mansion series, poor guy.

Very briefly, before they step back, Luigi is also shown patting Mario's back with his hand. Again, even though Luigi has navigated this hotel scared out of his mind, the fact that he's shown to be consciously giving his brother some show of comfort is adorable.

Luigi steps back and they both laugh, Mario placing his hand on Luigi's shoulder. They're both equally happy to be reunited! Smaller note, but Luigi appears to be ever so slightly bending his knees, probably to be closer to Mario. Yes the height difference between them really isn't that noticeable, but I'll take what I can get, okay?

For a second, the scene lingers as they simply stare at each other in relief. Then Luigi seems to snap back to it, having a small "wait a minute-" moment as he looks at the camera.

Immediately, Mario's smile drops too, and his hand drops off Luigi's shoulder as he straightens up. You can tell Luigi kinda forget where they were for a moment, probably because of how relieved he was to see Mario again, and now he's remembering that oh yeah, they're kinda stuck in a haunted hotel with a giant Boo that specifically has it out for them.

Luigi grabs Mario by the shoulder and exclaims, "Come on! This way!" clearly referring to Professor E Gadd's lab.

A bit of context for those who haven't played the game; before rescuing Mario, the player rescues the three Toads who also accompanied them on the vacation trip to the hotel, and every time Luigi escorts them to the elevator so they can stay in E Gadd's lab, safe and sound from the ghosts. So we can infer Luigi's immediate thought was to also get Mario there, so he wouldn't be in danger anymore :'3

He keeps his arm on Mario's shoulder, and grabs his other hand to literally start leading him in the direction of the elevator. Which is just.... so precious. Literally "I just got you back and you are not leaving my side until I know you're safe" energy. They care so much about each other guys. I love protective big bro Mario with all my heart, but protective Luigi fretting and worrying over Mario's wellbeing is so special too.

However, unlike the Toads who were more than happy to stay in the safer lab, Mario has other plans.

While wiggling out of Luigi's gripe, Mario corrects him with "Ah ah, ah ah, this way!" and pulls him back into the office. Luigi's confused, and his hand reflexively almost reaches for the Poltergust since they're heading back in the direct of danger (or it could just be his arm swinging back from Mario's pull, but again, over analyzing.)

The camera pans over to reveal the wall with the portrait Mario was trapped in on it.

Mario turns back to Luigi, clearly gung-ho and ready to go. We don't see much of Luigi's face, but I like to think he had an "oh no, not this again-" expression, because he knows exactly what Mario is about to do.

Mario gestures over his shoulder with a "Come on!" and takes off, leaving Luigi to startle and raise his hand. Here we get their classic dynamic; Mario, head strong and determined, running recklessly right into the action, and Luigi, timid and cautious, taking a moment to really sit and think about the situation.

Mario throws himself at the sliding wall and pushes it aside, demonstrating some serious physical strength. That's a pretty thick wall, with a portrait and tv screen on it to boot, but he manages to throw it open fairly easy.

Once past that, we see Mario stumble a bit from the momentum of pushing the wall. He immediately sets himself upright, gesturing again for Luigi to "Come on!" without much of a pause. Again, so much character on display here; Mario is flinging himself right into the action, and while he isn't particularly clumsy, he's practically stumbling from how fast he's pushing himself.

You can read this as that's simply in Mario's heroic nature - to run right into danger without so much as a second thought - but you can also read it as him being ecstatic to be out of that portrait. Even though he knows at this point that King Boo is waiting for them and Princess Peach still needs saving, he's still smiling and urging Luigi to follow him, like they're on an adventure. This is much more his speed, as opposed to being the one needing a rescue.

So Mario opens the door, not bothering to actually wait for Luigi, and continues on ahead. I read it as a bit of his impulsiveness with charging ahead, and also as trust that Luigi will follow him anywhere - albeit at his own pace.

For a split second, Luigi hesitates with a confuse "Mario?". Even though he knows his brother, he probably wasn't expecting Mario to bounce back so quickly. But hey, if his brother is still willing to forge on ahead even though he just escaped a trapped portrait, Luigi can't hold himself back either, can he?

He grabs his flashlight and exclaims a energized "Okay!". Again, keep in mind that this whole game, Luigi has been terrified out of his wits and scared of every obstacle in his way. But now having his brother back has him grinning and ready to face the challenges up ahead. The way they inspire courage in each other can actually be so personal-

Even though Luigi's Mansion 3 came out first, and the two don't really have a lot of connections outside of being based on the same property, I can't help but connect the new movie's "Nothing can hurt us, as long as we're together!" theme to this scene here.

Such a good scene, great animation and personality on display. Literally my only complaint is that I want more of well thought out cutscenes in Super Mario games in general.

Oh, and more bro hugs. Definitely more bro hugs.

What's a fact and/or headcanon for Osiris that you wanna share with the class

ough this is something quick and easy i can pass out without needing to draft a wholeass essay on it, i'll bite

Osiris has OCD, that we can extrapolate from canon, but one of the intrusive thoughts he must have suffered from with was not picking up or holding any small animals/children for fear of accidentally crushing or burning them if he lost control. He never would, ofc, but the nature of intrusive thoughts is basically that your brain goes 'hey wouldn't it be fucked up if this thing happens' and then shows it to you in explicit gory detail, so logic hardly matters there. Sagira was one of the few small living beings that he had no problem with grabbing because the fact that she was his soulbonded partner + mechanical in nature meant that him accidentally hurting her was nigh-zero. Even his own paranoia couldn't convince him otherwise

I like to think that as of late, he's begun to work on getting more confident about this with Saint and Misraaks- holding pigeons, letting Eliksni children climb up onto his shoulders, petting cats. But it's something that he's only just now beginning to let go of, and it's not because he's lost his Light- it's because hes learning to trust that when others say they have faith in him, its because they have a legitimate reason for it

I dunno about treating him like a pet since that strikes me as kinda weird (that and I think we'd be shot if we tried to baby talk him for the adorable expressions he pulls when excited) but pulling in experience from having had snakes as pets in life? Absolutely!

For the most part he's pretty self sufficient - he dropped into hell over 150 years ago so he's had plenty of time to get used to his new physiology - heck he's been a snake longer than he was human, so if you treat him as a helpless invalid he's going to get snappy with you.

That's not to say he doesn't appreciate a helping hand - he loves being treated like a treasure, admire his scales more darling they're shiny~

It will take a long time of waiting before he lets you get anywhere near his shedding times. He despises being vulnerable and unpresentable, and shedding induces both. It's also practical to keep you away until he knows he can trust you: over a hundred eyes and shedding renders every one of them blind? In Hell it's a miracle to find someone who wouldn't take advantage of such a weakness.

Once deemed trustworthy though you're getting to work helping him get out of the old skin. He's over 15 feet long and it's i t c h y.

There's no 'finding' the skins once they're shed since he makes sure to collect it all up during the process. He also chucks it straight into the furnace of his airship since he's learned the hard way that Hell's magical community can use body parts, even old and shed stuff like hair and nails, as a target for spells.

That and the eggs like to dress up in it which is too weird even for him.

If you're going to feed him rats/mice etc can you PLEASE put it on a plate first?? Manners dear, this gent grew up with knives and forks and is Determined to keep using them, circumstances and lack of gag reflex be damned.

He's too big to be carried on your shoulders, but your body warmth is much appreciated, let him coil around you like a sentient beanbag so he can take advantage please.

Due to your familiarity you've been able to pick up on a lot of his more subtle body language that the vast majority of Hell misses out on. You're not even sure if he knows he's giving off the signals, but your timely intervention has been much appreciated on a few occasions.

To your delight he actually shows off more snake like habits when he's relaxed, usually with you. He absentmindedly tastes the air a lot when thinking, has a tendency to sway gently in place, and find places to literally 'hang' on his ship so he can relax the human portion of his body from being upright all the time.

He gets serious muscle cramps from forcing himself upright to mimic standing. Prideful git refuses to drop into a full body crawl as his physiology demands, but the massages you give him to ease the pain are divine.

You, uh, have tried to move him before out of habit from scooping up your previous pets. Sweetheart, love, he's nearly a metric ton of danger noodle, don't even try. He doesn't want you to throw your back out.

He first time he genuinely hissed at you you jerked back in shock and bopped his nose out of sheer muscle memory, "Don't take that tone with me!" It worked, much to both your embarrasments.

my favourite clock tower character is definitely jennifer, the pick is probably generic for some but there’s nothing like being able to survive a killer, whose constantly stalking you with a large pair of scissors. putting it simply, i love her.

my favourite metal gear solid character? that’s a tough one… i can round it down to two. my favourite protagonist is solid snake (like that wasn’t obvious already), and my favourite antagonist is revolver ocelot. to describe my slow obsession with this menace, it was pretty much like the hyper fixation descended down onto me like a friendly rock to the head.

Hi! Will you create your Dark Urge in Baldur's Gate 3?

I really really really want to, so badly you have no idea. Though in order to bring Lily (Bỉ Ngạn) into Baldur's Gate 3 I need a few things (1) this Asian head mod (x) for Body Type 3, (2) make snake scales on body (likely with Unique Tav mod), (3) radial lighting strike scar around the eye like what my Nioh 2 Lily has, and (4) Nioh 2 Lily's hair because I tried Body Type 1 w the head mod but I couldn't find a hairstyle that I like, (6) custom horns mod, and (6) this is optional but I having her wear the Vietnamese áo yếm like in the concept art I recently commissioned (x) (and comic, ahem) is also what I want.

Now, to get started with modding *whimpering cat noises*

For SnB Pickles’s redesign, I would give him a more Axl Rose and David Bowie inspired look. Wilder hair, more lively glam makeup, in addition to a thong, slutty spandex/latex suits with platform high heels boots. Or he could wear a leather jacket without a shirt underneath with ripped skinny jeans.

I wanna make SnB Pickles as slutty as possible.

OHH i got ya i get it i UNDERSTAND. I too would do that, maybe a more genderless get up too, i know the 80s/earlier 90s had a lot of cross dressing in rock music and i think Pickles would fit into that category soooo well.
