image ID: a digital drawing of portia from the musical something rotten, she has blonde curly hair and is wearing a white lace bonnet. shes dressed in a light purple jacket with white gold swirls, with a dark purple dress peeking out at the sleeves and the middle bottom split of the jacket. she looks to the right in 3/4 view holding a letter in both hands
So I'm trying to make designs of the Something Rotten characters without looking at any pictures of them, just using their voices alone. And uh. Shakespeare is turning out like a David Bowie clown
This musical has been plaguing my every waking thought for the last 3 weeks ohhhh my GODD… these are like the only doodles that make any sense lol. Bottom one is from an 80s au a friend and I came up with >:)
"Video screencap of the 'Rotten Bonnie', uploaded December 2013"
"In the years since the end of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria's locations, William Afton, one of the co-founders and main designer of the animatronics, embraced the fan culture around his animatronic characters. He began hosting small private tours of his warehouse/company building, where all Freddy's shows were produced. Some items displayed include a completely new and fully functional Freddy & Friends: On Tour show, some partially complete New Freddy & Friends characters and set, a single retrofitted show of Freddy & Friends on tour called Candy's, which never got sold to any customers, and the subject of the photo.
In the basement of his warehouse is where Afton keeps his older animatronic shows, like the pair of the Fredbear's Bear Show, and the first Bonnie animatronic made. By sheer luck, the animatronic was sent back from it's location from repairs, and due to a clerical error, the location was sent a different Bonnie, while this one remained in storage. Due to the less than ideal conditions of the basement and lack of proper care, the animatronic took on quite a scary appearance. The usual blue color scheme deteriorated into a off-green color, and its latex parts cracked and sagged with age. Afton's dubbed this mech 'Rotten Bonnie', due to the green-ish appearance. This character would inspire the physical appearance of 'Springtrap' in the later released 'Five Nights at Freddy's 3'."
