🔮 S o l a r ⁕ R e t u r n ⁕ C h a r t ⁕ N o t e s 🔮 (personal 2023/2024)

I will be talking about my SR 2023/2024 chart placements that caught my eye and that i am excited/scared about for this year

(notice that my birthday is on August so i still haven't hopped in this chart yet, these are just mini personal predictions for fun)

Disclaimer: i am not a professional astrologer, i research for fun and use my personal experience mostly

⁕ Leo rising conjunct Venus(retrograde): I am definitely feeling this energy of starting to care more for my appeareance and in these past 2 years i've been slowly discovering a new passion for fashion, makeup and all girly stuff (well, it makes sense because in my current SR chart i have venus in leo too so yep, def a current feeling). If you'd asked me before this period if i'd ever tried girly stuff i'd have laughed hard to your face. I've always been veery unbothered before, i used to be the type of nerd that only had in mind to be good at school and get good grades and be skilled at sports and crafty things. I used to view the girly girls as superficials, and i found makeup and fashion as vain (things that also my family told me). I couldn't be more wrong honestly, i now look at my past self with disappointment. Fashion and makeup are art expressions and take a lot of time, research, effort, study and practice to understand and master, and only lately, by experimenting i have fallen in love with this entire new world, now i can't possibly imagine myself not researching about these matters (i have been getting into the fashion systems' rabbit hole of Kibbe, Kitchener, Truth is beauty, Personal seasonal colour etc...).

However, i have mostly practiced these things in the comfort of my home, when my parents weren't in, and i feel like with this new solar return i'll get hopefully the courage to express myself freely even in public (Venus retrograde i guess could slow these things a bit, but the Leo rising could make me bolder, we'll see how it goes, i'm kinda excited for this not gonna lie)

⁕ Saturn (retrograde) conjunct Karma (retrograde) in 8th house Pisces + Neptune + Nessus there too: Last time i got Saturn in 8th house it was the first time i experienced depression, but last time i didn't know astrology as i now do lol. I am still hella scared of these placements ngl, i know i will suffer because of past mistakes, and i am here to endure and renew myself for the future. I just don't know what to expect, even as an 8th house stellium in my natal chart, when there are placements in the 8h in my Solar return i tend to shut down and suffer in silence. Having Nessus and Neptune i don't know what could mean. I just hope not to get raped or abused by anyone bye 🙈

Nessus in mythology was a centaur that tried to abuse Deianeira, wife of Heracles, before being shot by an arrow from Heracles himself . His last act before dying was convincing Deianeira to give his blood (poisoned) to his husband if she wanted to ensure his love to her for eternity, and this eventually led to Heracles's death.

⁕ Pluto in 6th house (retrograde): now, THIS, scares me A LOT. It is also squaring my NN and Chiron, I don't want health issues, not now please sigh. I think there will be a bit of a shocking change in my career, and also possibly in my everyday routine (probably i'll get more disciplined with Capricorn ruling my 6h, i could fall victim of the hoarding mentality, and if i don't seek balance this could cause sickness, so i'm noting this down for a future reminder)

⁕ Moon in Capricorn conjunct Vertex + Pholus (5th/6th house-Placidus/Whole Signs): i am preparing myself to GROW. With the ruler of 6h,Saturn, in 8h in direct contact with the moon (sextile) i will be forced to go deep within and take responsability for my own life. The change can be sudden and unexpected (Pholus),but it will happen no matter what (Vertex). With my moon also aspecting my Sun in Virgo 2h (trine) and Jupiter in 10h (trine) it will have an impact on my career and finances.

Adding here that my NN is also conjunct my MC, so i'll definitely be focused on my path and public image

⁕ Eros (retrograde) conjunct DC opposite Venus (retrograde): please, don't let me suffer from a fake love. The fact that Eros is also in the sign of Aquarius (the sign of my natal Juno). I can't, i'm not here to play or for a fling. Could be the return of an old flame? I usually don't like to predict my love life before i actually am interested in someone or there's some potential between me and another person, because i can hold on to expectations so all i do is being open with some boundaries. Whatever will be will be

⁕ Aphrodite conjunct Fama in 5th house: Finally recognition for my creative talent? I mean that'd be awesome, it might be a consequence of the switch in my mentality, becoming more and more disciplined, and being more efficient and getting more stuff done so yep, it would def make sense.

⁕ Where will i be lucky?

So, to see where i will expand and attract luck, i looked for Jupiter's position and which house it rules in my SR chart. I have it in 10th house, and i have Sagittarius in my 5th house (therefore here's a connection between these two houses and Jupiter). This gives me hope for luck for a career based on my interests and passions, and with NN in my 9th house ( the house that is originally ruled by Jupiter) it might also means that it can happen somewhere else than where i live.

chiron in 7h - expect to get rejected, romantic relationships will fail A LOT.

libra or leo rising - glow up!

8h placements - a lot of people will have crushes on you, but these people may have toxic motives. this could also cause someone to be obsessive towards other people.

12h neptune - veryyy weird/vivid dreams!

9h mars - new motivation in school or just gaining knowledge. you might pick up a new, non-physical hobby.

pluto opposite venus - a relationship could be on and off, not consistent at all, causing confusion and negative emotions.

2h uranus - money coming and going, not a financially stable year.

10h placements - gaining popularity, check planets to see how it manifests.

5h saturn - a very mature year, you’ll learn to take things very seriously.

6h venus - romanticizing life, you might find joy in small things.

༘⋆ chiron in the 7th house of SR can cause pain with general people that you want to hang out with but they will hurt you or disappoint you. i had this and looking back i wish i could hug her🥲. (so please remember if you have this to not waste your energy on these people because you deserve better)

༘⋆mars in 10th house in SR can mean that you can be offered a job but you refusing or something getting in the way of it. also getting negative comments about your approach to your job.

༘⋆ when i had chiron in pisces, lots of feeling sorry for myself. feeling sorry for yourself and feeling like nobody cares can be a theme for this placement.

༘⋆ south node in 3rd house may signify reading more, i had this conjunct my natal moon and i read lots, especially lots of fiction books because moon= delusion and something that's not real.

༘⋆ MC in 9th house in SR can mean that people identify you with studying and view you as someone really start. people may see you with pen and notebook everywhere or with your laptop studying and may just perceive you as someone who is very educated.

༘⋆ when you have ASC is in Capricorn in SR, you might focus on teeth health more and educate yourself on it or can like your smile more or just smile more in general.

༘⋆ when my SR 11th house governed my natal 3rd house, i had a good relationship with my siblings.

༘⋆ pluto in 12th house, having difficulty sleeping or your sleeping pattern changes. lots of transitions in dreaming pattern also. one day you may have like 5 dreams and remember all of them then the next two days you cant recall any of them.

༘⋆ moon in pisces conjuct neptune= can feel numb that year.

༘⋆moon in 7th house in your SR can signify strengthened relationship with your mother or mother figure.

༘⋆ when i had vertex in leo, that year i had luck in my hobbies and did it more frequently, i found beauty in it and strengthened my ability of it. also was more public about it and like showed it off to others and received praise about it.

༘⋆ another indication of you and your mothers relationship strengthening is asteroid fortuna (19) conjunction to the moon.

༘⋆ the year that i spoke freely, without much thought, mercury was in aries in my SR. it was more talking whatever instead of nonsense if that makes sense. it was for sure a different approach to the way i spoke in the past.

Neptune in 5H - I'm trying to determine whether my feelings are genuine love or if they stem from an obsession, and I'm contemplating whether these emotions might be a delusion. (I’m Neptune dominance in Natal Chart) It seems that I am more captivated by the concept of love itself rather than the specific person I have feelings for. Even when we are apart, I don't experience a strong sense of longing or missing them. My focus seems to be more on the idea and idealization of love rather than the individual involved.

Solar Return Observation (Saturn Edition)

Saturn in 6H being more responsible in your day-to-day life. Sometimes you feel like you have to drag yourself to do the simplest thing. The year when you may start living alone (like literally alone, no friends, relatives, etc). Difficulty in getting a job, or the year when you work for a role which doesn't fit your expectation. Maybe even being responsible of animals, pets, health, coworkers, etc. An overall dreaded feeling in day-to-day. The beauty of this placement is that it reminds you to cherish the most basic thing in your life, like stuff that you may took for granted before.

Saturn in 9H can literally mean facing obstacles in higher education. The experiment may failed, the data may be missing, the theory may be wrong. The people you're working with can be difficult. Since Saturn demands effort, you have to be disciplined and work consistently to finish all that has been started. A lot of philosophical or theoretical contemplation. Also challenges while living abroad, or having responsibilities in foreign country.

Saturn in 11H feeling of unbelonging, lost of community, feeling of isolation and loneliness. Almost like you have lost your tribe, feeling of not fitting in places. The placement overlay to your natal placement may give out the main reason of this event. (e.g. SR Saturn in Natal 4th house may feel like they did not belong because of how the new places is so different from where they came from, you may be put in new situation which lack of familiarity with your roots. SR Saturn in Natal 6th house may feel isolated in day-to-day life, or because of health matter).

The sign of Saturn is how you can adjust to the challenge

Saturn in Sagittarius needs you to be open-minded to new cultures and people who are not familiar to your background. You may need to be more extroverted too. Keep an open-mind, be receptive of people's opinion, being more optimistic. Religion or beliefs may help you to go through the challenge.

Saturn in Aquarius ngl with this placement I kind of resorted to online activity more lmao. The internet kinda helps, literally. Use the internet for the goods. Use it to educate you, to make friends, and to unleash your creativity. Technology is there to benefit you. Aquarius also speaks about embracing your unique self, networking, and taking part in your environment/community.

Saturn in Pisces this placement puts you in situation that exercise your empathy. Use your intuition, your feelings. Get in tune with your spiritual sides. Saturn asks you to be giving, give out unconditional love, but also do not forget your boundary. You can be kind, but don't lose yourself for other people.

Saturn Retrograde is the time when it gets especially difficult for you to change the situation. You may not realize that you've made it or you've nailed the lesson. A lot of times, Retrograde Saturn cues more to internal work. Your situation may not changed drastically, but your mind learned something. It feels like a very personal journey. A private experience, which no one would understand but yourself. It is exclusively accessible for you and you only. So yes, expect a reconstruction of your inner framework. It can also be frustrating because you can't just "show" people that you've learned Saturn's lesson. However, trust the process. The change does show in your action, your mindset, and even your heart.

🦩 While Uranus in 4th house brings sudden, unexpected changes in your home life. Moving to another house? You bet. Redecorating your whole house because you just woke up with the urge to do so? Could be another possibility

🦩 Jupiter trine Venus in SR brings an easiness to manifesting everything you want that year. If Jupiter/Venus is in 2nd house trining the other planet, then you might also get lots of gifts

🦩 Venus in 2nd house also indicates spending more than usual on material possesions that year (compulsive shopping much)

🦩 Sun conjunct Saturn and Venus in 6th house = becoming "that girl". Your main focus will be on building a solid, stable routine for yourself, that also looks aesthetically pleasing

🦩 Stellium in 10th house/11th house = high chance of becoming (internet) famous. Bonus points is Jupiter is involved (i started my blog while my current SR has a 10th house stellium and i have to thank you guys for showing such big support for this blog🥹 thank you)

🦩 Jupiter in 9th house can indicate travelling abroad for the purpose of experimenting different lifestyles (For ex. you visit Guatemala because you want to experience what is like to be a Guatemalian - you want to try all their traditional dishes, learn their traditional dances and open up your mind to a different culture)

🦩 Another meaning of Jupiter in 9th house is that you might go abroad for college or if you start college in your homecountry, then you're probably going to major in foreign languages, philosophy or religion

🦩 Pluto in 4th house could mean uncovering a family secret. Don't be surprised if you find out that you're adopted or you have family members alive that you didn't know about👀

🦩 Moon in 4th house means that you'll feel much more nostalgic that year. You might spend more time with your mother than usual, reminescence on your childhood memories or look through old photos of you and your family

🦩 If you're in a relationship and you've got Neptune in 7th house in your next SR, then i'm sorry to disappoint you, but expect a year where you might question your partner's loyalty. I'm not saying your partner is going to cheat, but for some reason you might feel more suspicious of them than usual

🦩 Mars in 8th house = expect more sex than usual lol

🦩 If Pluto squares Mars and one of these planets is in the 4th house/5th house/7th house/10th house/11thouse, beware of power plays and toxic dynamics in your family/friendships/relationship (for 4th,5th,7th or 11th house) or at your workplace (for 10th house)

🦩 Moon in 12th house indicates that you're going to be more secretive with your emotions. You won't tell people how you feel and at times you might be confused about your own emotions, because you'll have the tendency to surpress them

🦩 With Jupiter conjuncting Ascendant (doesn't matter if it's in the 12th house or 1st house), expect to be constantly blessed by the Universe without doing anything. One of the most luckiest placements you could have in your SR

🦩 Neptune trine Mercury indicates a high chance of coming up with a creative masterpiece that year (it can be in any domain: arts, music, writing, acting, u name it)

🦩 Saturn in 2nd house can indicate going on a diet that year

🦩 Mars in 3rd house indicates being more argumentative that year than usual. You might speak at a faster pace or speak before thinking twice

Sun in the Houses - Solar Return Chart

A Solar Return Chart "refers to the time when the Sun returns to the exact position it was in at the time of your birth in your natal chart. Since the Sun takes approximately 12 months to complete its cycle. Hence, a Solar Return happens every year. And, since this journey begins at the time of your birth, the return usually happens a day or two before or after your birthday" (via)

I like to think of an SR Chart as a yearly Natal Chart. You can see where the planets of your SR Chart fall into your Natal Chart or you can view your SR Chart by itself. I think both are important to acknowledge because you might relate to one chart more than the other or you might relate to both charts. For example; if you have Sun in the 10th house of your SR Chart but it falls into your 2nd house of your Natal Chart, look at both houses below (Sun in the 10th and Sun in the 2nd).

It's also important to remember that your sun sign will be the same every year, so if you're a Leo Sun in your Natal Chart, you'll be a Leo Sun every year in your SR Chart. Your Sun Sign might stay the same but the house it falls in and the aspects it makes will be different.

The Sun in your SR Chart represents where your focus is for the next 12 months, where you'll be concentrating the most. It also represents key themes that show up for you throughout the year. It's crucial to look at how your Sun is aspected to get a better glimpse of how you this placement will affect you.

Sun in the Houses

1h: Sun in the 1st house of your Solar Return Chart means your focus will primarily be on yourself, your physical appearance, and how you approach life. Since your natal sun sign would be your solar return rising, it could make for a more transformative and prosperous year. This year, you might decide to reinvent yourself physcially in some way; you may start working out or you could get tattoos. You could dye your hair or revamp your wardrobe; something that puts an emphasis on your individuality and that asserts your identity through physical appearance. It could also mean that your personality is more noticeable in some way and the people around you take notice. Since your rising sign affects the way you approach the world, it could also mean that you assert confidence in various aspects of life. Meaning, wherever you go you go with confidence; whether that be the workplace, school, or at home; you're generally more confident in all aspects of life (of course this also depends on the signs occupying corresponding houses). You might find that you get more attention this year (good or bad depending on aspects) or feel more comfortable with getting attention. Check where the lord of your 2nd house is in your SR Chart (if 2nd house is in Taurus - check where Venus is in the houses, if it's in Gemini, check where Mercury falls in your houses). This can indicate how you can create another source of income. If it's in the 3rd house; writing and communicating can help you make more money, like blogging or becoming a free lance writer. If it's in the 5th house, creating and selling a product could help or even babysitting. You could also be focusing on saving money and budgeting. Your self esteem and values could change depending on how it's aspected. For example: Sun opposite Uranus could indicate that your self esteem fluctuates and is unstable for this year, along with your finances. Sun sextile/trine Jupiter could indicate that this year will bring wealth and you'll be secure within yourself. You may notice you're more curious this year and find ways to satisfy your curiosity; through reading, online research, and short distance travel. You may travel to new places like a new restaurant, a new beach, a new place that's close to where you are now. You're more inclined to share your thoughts and opinions with confidence and engage in meaningful conversations with others. You could make friends with people through similar interests; joining a book club and meeting a new friend or finding a new library to go to and meeting someone there. You will be full of mental energy that could manifest as anxiety depending on how your Sun is aspected. The relationships with your siblings might change for better or for worse or you might notice you spend more time with them. You might want to get involved in your community by volunteering, substitute teaching, reading to the elderly. You could start a successful blog that shares information on what you're interested in (astrology, fashion, psychology).

Advice: Getting into therapy would be very beneficial now, try new things and hobbies, join interesting clubs and try things you normally wouldn't.

4h: Having your Sun in the 4th house of your Solar Return Chart can bring family, your mother, and your home environment into focus. You might start thinking about starting a family, or someone in your family could become pregnant. You might visit your family a lot more this year and spend more time with them or your parents might visit your home a lot more. You'll want to focus on making your home more "homey" and decorating it in a way that aligns with who you are. You may become closer with your mother and spend more time with her. If harshly aspected, you may notice your mother (4h) and your father (Sun) may divorce or fight a lot more this year (this depends on other placements too). You may find that you'd rather be at home than go out, you'll be more introverted and prioritize comfort. You may have to stay home against your will due to duties related to children or maybe you have to stay home to take care of your mother or parents. Depending on Sun aspects, this could mean harmonious relationships with your family or it could mean more arguments. You might order a 23 and Me test to find out more about your ancestry and nationality.

Advice: Spend more time trying to get your family together, create happy memories with them and take pictures so you can look back on it. Focus on your home space and implement things that make it more comfortable. Invite people over for events or maybe throw a house warming party.

5h: Sun in the 5th house means focusing on hobbies, creativity, having fun, your inner child and children in general this year. This could mean less work and more play, whether that happens naturally or intentionally. You might take off work to go on vacation or even take work off to do something fun with your kids. You might pick up an old hobby or a new hobby that takes up your free time. Going out, being with friends, going to parties, throwing parties, or doing whatever your definition of fun is will be highlighted this year. You may notice that you're around more children this year which could result in connecting with your own inner child. Advice: Focus on pleasure. What makes you happy? Your inner child happy? Try expressing yourself through artistic endeavors. Don't take life so seriously this year.

6h: Sun in the 6th house in the Solar Return Chart can indicate increased focus on physical health and wellness, daily routines, and your relationship to your peers/coworkers. This year you could end up making a dietary change; becoming a vegetarian or simply cutting out sugar. You could focus on what makes you feel good physically; working out and eating healthy. Depending on how the Sun is aspected, this could help you to "glow up" this year. You may try out yoga, pilates, or another workout class that interests you. Your daily routines will help you become more confident. We already talked about working out and eating healthy; this could also mean starting a skincare routine, a bedtime routine, or simply jotting down tasks in your planner. You may seek out alternative healing methods as well, again check aspects. This could include Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture, medicinal herbs) or reiki and meditation in order to benefit your health. Relationships with peers/coworkers will be in focus as well, whether positively or negatively is up to the whole chart itself. Your energy levels can also be affected by the Sun and its' aspects.

Advice: Don't gossip in the workplace, adopt a pet, focus on how to spend your time more efficiently, start implementing positive habits in your daily routines.

7h: Sun in the 7th house in the Solar Return Chart can indicate focusing on love relationships, one on one friendships, and open enemies. You will want to get along with people in your life, you'll strive to have harmony and balance in these relationships. If you don't have a romantic partner, this might be the year that you meet someone special. Write down what qualities you want in a partner and see how they correspond with your natal 7th house. Manifesting and actively seeking a partner could help but it might just happen without your intention! If you have a romantic partner already, the Sun here makes you buckle down and really work on making the relationship flourish, or even taking it to the next level. This could be as big as getting engaged or married, or it could mean moving in together. It could be as little as meeting their parents or having them meet yours. All of this depends on the rest of the chart and if you look at house placements and aspects you can get a better sense of how you'll grow closer. The same goes for one on one connections in terms of friendships. You might grow closer to a friend or friends over the year. The 7th house also rules open enemies. Depending on aspects of the Sun this can be more or less prominent. Sun square Mars, for example, may mean that men with Aries or Scorpio-like qualities (doesn't have to be their Sun sign but can be) can brush you the wrong way or these people could even start arguments with you.

Advice: Focus on the positives and express to your lover or friend what you appreciate about them. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Stick up for yourself in a way that creates peace or better yet, kill the haters with kindness. Ask yourself why certain traits and aspects of other people bother you.

8h: Sun in the 8th house puts focus on personal and financial transformations, self discovery, intimacy, and shared resources. I won't lie, the 8th house can be a tough bid. All houses have their good and bad qualities but the 8th house is all about change which is uncomfortable for most. The good part about 8th house Sun is when you look back on your Solar Return a year from now, you'll be changed in a significant way. It can be hard but it will make you stronger, wiser, and more aligned with your higher self. You will face obstacles this year that will take you out of your comfort zone whether that's intentional or not. You may move out of your parents house and live across the country. You might go to therapy and realize why you act the way you do. You might be moving into your dorm in college this year. Think radical change. You might break up with your partner, move out, quit your job and move back home. It's hard to say exactly what will happen without seeing the rest of the chart because the 8th house rules "Deep personal transformation - " and that's it. Say your 8th house lord is in the 10th house, you'll experience a transformation related to your reputation or career, you may get fired or promoted in a significant way. Your reputation could take a blow or you could become famous. It's hard to tell, again, without looking at the whole chart.

Advice: Take things in stride, try to be your best self, trust yourself and the universe. Be careful with financial matters and contracts. Dive into taboos.

9h: Sun in the 9th house puts learning, long distance travel, and higher education into focus. You will want to expand your horizons in some way whether that be going to college, traveling and learning about different cultures, exploring spiritual practices, or seeking out profound experiences that lead to personal growth. Your year might consist of traveling abroad somewhere and learning about the place's culture. You could appreciate this culture and their values and implement it into your own life. You might go to college or take a course online that interests you in a way that others courses didn't. This course might alter your personality in some way. Say the course is about world religion, after learning about it you might explore it on your own time, for example; Buddhism (technically a philosophy but I digress...), you might take interest in their practice of meditation. You start meditating and it completely changes the way you view life, this could lead to a whole new belief system. You might take up a yoga class and after a couple months you might join your yoga class on a retreat somewhere; this could impact you tremendously and might change your course of life. After the retreat, you might become a yogi or start practicing something intense like Kundalini yoga. Take the first step by exploring other interests, you never know how they will affect your life!

Advice: Try something new this year, be open to new opportunities, quiet your inner critic and be spontaneous, don't let anxiety and insecurity get in your way.

10h: Sun in the 10th house of your Solar Return Chart could bring your career, reputation, and father (or dominant parent) into focus. This could indicate a need to be promoted or recognized by authority in terms of your career. You could get a raise or "climb the corporate ladder", you could find your true passion and open up a business. You might find that your relationship with your father or father figure impacts your personality in some way. You might grow closer or grow farther apart, you might recognize how the relationship affects you in your daily life. Sun in this house brings confidence into the workplace and depending on the aspects, coworkers could be jealous or threatened by that or you might get along well with them and gain popularity. Your reputation could be affected this year either negatively or positively; the Sun here on its own indicates that it will be affected positively but if squares or oppositions are present, it could go the other way. For instance, if Uranus squares your 10th house (aka MC/Midheaven), you might gain a reputation for being irresponsible or unreliable. If you have Venus sextile your MC, you may gain a reputation of being lovable and sociable and your relationship with your boss will be positive.

11h: Sun in the 11th house of the Solar Return Chart puts friendships, community, and social media into your focus for the year. You will have the desire to expand your social circle or it can happen on it's own! You will want to be surrounded by like minded people that share your interests and ideas. The sign that occupies this house in your SR and Natal Chart can give you greater insight. If you have Scorpio in the 11th house of your Natal Chart, the friends you gain might hold some sort of power, they might transform you in some way (and this is true throughout your whole life). The ruler of the 11th house in your Solar Return Chart, say for example; Taurus, would fall into your Natal 5th house. Meaning the friends you make could have Scorpio/Taurus/Leo and even Aquarius placements (fixed signs). You could meet them through your children (the parents of your child's friend or you could connect with someone at a daycare while picking up your kids). You could meet these friends at a Paint n' Sip. You could meet a friend while going on a double date (think 5th house themes). Either way, they'll most likely have fixed sign energy and have planets falling in your natal 2nd, 5th, and 8th, and 11th house. Other than that, you may focus on getting more involved in your community; this could be volunteering or donating clothes to your local goodwill. You could become famous on social media! 12h: Sun in the 12th house of your Solar Return Chart puts solitude, reflection, hidden enemies, and endings into focus for the year. This indicates that you'll be more introverted than ever, even if your Sun sign is the most extroverted of all the zodiac signs. You'll prefer to be alone which could sometimes lead to a feeling of loneliness. Sun in the 12th house could mean that you're your own worst enemy. Let go of limiting beliefs or insecurities; it's a good time to release problems relating to your ego since the 12th house also rules endings. The Sun shines a bright light on the house of the unknown, this could lead to finding out secrets or uncovering truths that could hurt your self esteem. If you're spiritual, you could connect more to your beliefs in some way (starting to pray more, going to church on Sundays, or reading books on Chakras and Crystal Healing, for example). 👾 some of my best sr years have been the years where i’ve had the same sr venus as my natal

👾 looking at the persona chart of your profected year lord can give you a lot of insights for the year ahead i’ve found

👾 chiron on the mc (both solar or natal x solar) shows a year of yearning for something very badly (most likely to be career/goal/experience related)

👾 having positive mercury-saturn aspects (including conjunction depending on sign) is a year where you are on top of your shit, maybe you feel like you conversations with others are thwarted in some way but better than most you’re preparing for something bigger, plans, plans, PLANS!!

👾 saturn conjunct mercury is a really interesting aspect actually for a solar return. it maybe harder to categorize and to process the world around you in a productive way, but you may also learn new subjects/wisdom.

👾 having venus at 28 degrees can indicate an exciting love/crush/relationship happening for that year

👾 moon at 29 degrees can show that from that year on out you will approach life from a very different mindset to what you had before. this mindset can last for a year or your entire life but either way it’s an anaretic degree so BIG STUFF! the sign can show what mindset you’re “ending” (ex: i had moon at 29 degrees in taurus in 2020 and from that year on out i really prioritized productivity and worked to stop my lazy/indulgent habits)

👾 planets at 20 degrees and what house those planets are in can show what themes/events prove to be very mystical or witchy that year. (ex: i had mars and neptune at 20 degrees with mars in the 7th and neptune in the 11th and that year i got back with my old friend group out of random chance and went on my first date with someone from that group😭😭 not me telling you guys my life tea. dating within friend groups is weird and would not recommend btw! but to each their own🩷)

👾 planets at the 1st degree + their houses show where you’re ambitious and what you desire, expect lots of action in these areas

👾 1st house ruler in 1st (aka your chart ruler in one of its domicile places) may mean that your by yourself or more alone, but most likely NOT in a bad way!! (self-care, self-improvement, reflection, etc…). check other houses that the planet rules to see what other important themes are emphasized that year (ex: libra venus in 1st house —> 8th house themes are important as well because taurus rules over the 8th)

👾 going off from the previous observation, planets in angular houses (1, 4, 7, 10) will ALWAYS be prominent throughout your year especially if they’re in domicile/exaltation/detriment/fall.

👾 a lot of celebrities have gotten big time famous the year where they had their 11th house in their 11th (ex: megan thee stallion, doja cat, billie eilish, etc…)

👾 just a tip, but make persona charts of your solar planets! if you don’t know how, go to astro.com, charts and calculations, extended chart selection, blue plus sign in the top right corner then fill out info from your solar return chart. after making this, click the “natal chart” tab, scroll down to “persona chart” :)

👾 jupiter/sagittarius in the 3rd or jupiter-mercury aspects show a lot of activity for the year ahead. fire/air = adventurous/fun activity, water/earth = self-growth/learning related (but arguably the themes can overlap), mercury in the third house is also indicative of a busy year!

👾 when i had mars in my natal 12th house last year i stayed up souper late almost every night regardless of weekend/weekday

👾 planets at 5 degrees show where there’s a lot of exciting things happening (ex: venus at 5 degrees -> lots of interesting meetups with friends, starting new hobbies, etc…, juno at 5 degrees -> partnerships open up new feelings of happiness, feeling loved, etc…). creds to @astrosky33 for this one!

👾 pay attention to the aspects made to your vertex for the year! and also what house the vertex falls in in your natal house. a couple years ago i had venus in my solar 4th trine my solar vertex in 8th conjunc turanus and was able to spend more time resting and doing fun things at home because unexpectedly (uranus) responsibilities/burdens placed upon me were lifted

SOLAR RETURN CHART PT.2 ! -Asteroids and Points-

Disclamer ! : Each of the SR Placements i wrotte here down, DO NOT have to be aligned with your own experience, in Astrology we have so many diffrenet factors that can change and influence our lifes, what i refer here to are the Asteriods and Points in my own personal SR Chart from the past couple years. They are short, easy examples of how they could impact somones life, to what degree they impacted my life.

Vertex =Is another tool that I like to use on the Solar Return chart is the Vertex. Similar to the Sun the Vertex can be a huge turnig point by the house it sits in and show fated events, only if heavily aspected.

Example: The year I had Vertex in my 7th House, um yeah guys i was deeply in love for the first time in my life, i meet the so called love of my life (bestfriend), and wow it was really intense, i had a very intimate soul bound with that peron, as if we shared the same soul. But sadly later on i went through a broken heart girl moment, the dream of sharing the rest of my life with that person sadly couldnt be fulfilled. And it defintly thought me a lot of lessons and struggles about love, fear of abandoment, unhealthy attachments, addiction to love beign afraid to love and not feeling worthy of it.

Continuing as i mentioned previously hard aspects matter alot when it comes to the SR Vertex. At that time my Vertex in the 7th house was opposite my SR Venus !!!! It usualy indicates the connection between me and that person possibly stemming from a past life time, like a soulmate or twinflame connection. Needing to find eachother this lifetime to fullfil a certain mission. So unlike the conjunction or soft aspects the connection was at an on and off state, which refers to the dynamic of the opposition, the built up of inner tension ,push and pull beetwen two energys wheter It´ll be life situations like (home, career, money or relationships ) with my case since the Vertex sits in my 7th house of the SR Chart ;). Which led to high amounst of attraction and gravitation towards that person but also complications and misunderstandings.

That does not mean everyone with a SR Vertex in the 7th house harshly aspecting Venus will go through the same experience like me, but changes in love life generally can be garanted. Also look a at transits and Synastry for more information :)

North Node = The North Node in the SR Chart can indicate how we grow this year. It shows lessons that we need to learn and evolve from. Providing you with all the experiences and tools for your destination ahead until the year to come.

Example: They year i had my SR North Node in the 12th my first Spiritual Awakening got activated unexpectedly, my interest for meditation, yoga, chakras began to increase. I started to connect with the spirit world, my ancestors, angels, spirit guide more easily. I feelt the strong bond beetwen myself ,god, animals, humans everything! I started recieving sychronizites like butterflys, white feahters daily.

The North Node SR in the 12th helped me to step into my true purpose and wake up from the illusions, manipluation that was very evindent in my life. It transformed so many things since it was in trine with SR Pluto (North Node in the 12th TRINE Pluto in the 8th house) like me being able to use my natural psycic abilites, my subconcious changing to a healtiher mind set, prosessing past trauma, me doing energy work on my psycial body ,sensing heavy energetic tension within certain parts of my body that steam from repreased pain and trauma. The North Node in the 12th house offered me the time and space to go through that healing stage, meaning I was isolated for some months after losing someting important in my life.

Chiron = It influences your triggers, wounds, fear, shame, insecurities and coming to terms with them . It can be very difficult but It gives us the possibility of healing and transcend to Self love, Acceptance and Self respect.

Example: Lasty Year i had Chiron in the 11th house, and sadly I felt very lonely, not having any one aroung me , friends i used to know since elemantry school suddenly left life, and even when i attended new social gahterings the void within me, feeling a lack of friendships and a lack of companionship, made it harder then usual to engage in new social circels, feeling inscure about the way I might come across to other people, not being accpeted for who I truly am.

At that time i feelt more socialy anxious than normal, panicing when somone tried to approach me for some random small talk conversation. I had my SR (Moon in the 12th sextile my Chiron in the 11th). With the moon aspecting chiron i can surly approve of this placement impacting me on a deep, emotional and soulful level. I tried to comfort my self through isolation, listen to music, having faith in future that things will get better and l´´ll soon connect with people on a deep and emotional level . I started to understad that this a typical process a lot of young adults go through. And at least i can invest all the time i have on myself and be my own best friend accepting my own flaws and incecuritys. Chiron is not only a pain in the ass but also a teacher helping me to understand my biggest fears regarding friendships and social circels.

Example: Last year additionaly with the North Node i had Lilith in the 12th house, and i encounterd also the dark side of the 12th house, fighting with Addictions, Escapisim not wanting to be on this physical earth plane because of how detached i was from it, i also entered a difficult stages in my spiritual awaking like the Dark night of the soul. I felt to need to explore more with my hidden divine feminie se*ual side, feeling the creative tantric energy of mother earth within me, me having more wet dreams than usal, fanazising daily about se* or having se* in my dreams. Additionaly i had plenty sleep paralysis experienceses that lead me to see and feel paranormal things involoving creepy sensations of outher worldy beings gravitating towards my hidden underlying se*al energy ..... (I´ll leave the rest out bc it was very creppy!!!)

omg i know this a bit more spooky, but yeah it was very interesting experience exploring that side through lilith being here !!!

With that being said, I wanted to point out the fact that Asteriod and Points are very valid in SR Chart mostly people only consider talking about planetary placements but I have discovered that A&P can also have a huge impact on someones live. Like the examples I described here. Comment down below if you feel the same way or have the experienced the complete opposite would love to KNOW 😘🤔

Next up I‘ll continue this series by observing the MOST IMPORTANT Placement in the SR Chart connected to the natal Chart!!! And that is definitely not the Sun!!!!!!! ;)

「 ✦ Hello! Happy New Year to you too! Ah, before saying any new resolutions, I thought it would be an amazing opportunity to make a Solar Return Chart analysis and then I'll post my resolutions :) ✦ 」

Here is my Solar Return for the year 2023 to 2024! Since my birthday is in august, my solar return started on the day of my birthday 2023 and it will last until my birthday 2024.

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ This SR, my sun is in 12H, meaning spirituality is very important for me this year, usually when your sun is out there, there is either a spiritual awakening, or you will have to work on your spiritual side. The 12H is also making me having a more lonely year, I'm gonna find myself alone most of the times this year because I have to work on myself a lot.

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ I also noticed that a personal planet in the 12H, if you live abroad, means coming back home, and I did come back home from South Korea 2 months before this solar return!

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ The 13° (Aries) over my Sun in 12H, I think it would mean an ego death.

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ Noticed also how my sun is alone in the 12H? Yes, def a year of focusing on my spiritual evolution! More alone times.

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ I have Leo Rising this year, and having Leo rising in a SRC means having a glow up. Which is funny to me because I have Pluto over the 6H, which means getting weight! Usually Pluto in the 6H means gaining weight but also working on your health because it can cause some problems. So, I did actually take a bit of weight this year, mostly due to coming home and reuniting with the food of my country lol, but also eating too much chocolate for the end of the year (lol). But I feel this urge to actually do a lot of sport and eating healthy? So the glow up could happen after? lol

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ But in general, I felt more pretty recently , and I got more compliment over my appearance than before (Leo Rising). Leo Rising makes you more popular too.

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ Venus in 1H means I could get a lot of compliments over my appearance, or some people could have a crush on me based on how I look like. I could look better physically, it's also an indicator of a glow up. With the degree (24°= Pisces) I could look more angelic? Or this is the way people will see me. I could become way more romantic this year, and be more expressive with my feelings too. It's also a sign to be more popular!

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ With Mercury in 1H, it will be a year where I talk about myself more, or I will just rely more on my opinion than others. I will stand with my ideas and opinions more, and be more true to myself. This is also an indicator to speak in my own voice, and give advices based on my own experiences.

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ Mars in 2H= more ambition related to money and stability!

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ Vertex in the 5H. I want to see more people adding Vertex in their SRC, it's so important!!! Vertex helps you see the big and the significant changes that will marks you. Vertex in the 5H is a sign or break-up, pregnancy, new love coming. Now, let's not lie, I will not be pregnant this year (NO). But a break-up or a new love, new relationship could happen. And it will be significant since this is vertex!

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ Saturn in my 7H: something serious will happen in my serious relationships this year. Groom conjunct saturn there, and I know who is my FS. So this could be limits with my FS, like hard times in a way. But Saturn also represent seriousness, so this could be the start with something serious with him, or the relationship will feel more long-lasting? Something like that. But limits will def be there.

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ Neptune 8H: S3xual dreams ;-; Could also be having spiritual dreams (also pisces is here too, so it could def happen more)

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ 9H stellium with Moon, Chiron, North Node and Jupiter: There us a huge part of this year that will play around my spiritual side. I will need to reevaluate my spirituality and my beliefs. Things will happen to me this year in order to make me grow spiritually. It can hurt sometimes (ego death with chiron in Aries) but it's part of this year's destiny for sure. North Node is there. I will also want to travel more this year but it will be hard sometimes (chiron), but opportunities to travel will def be more present (Jupiter). The fact that Jupiter is here makes me relief because it means that despite hard times, Jupiter will still bring me luck and good stuff.

𓏲 ๋࣭  ࣪ ˖ Uranus in 10H: Big changements career wise!! The kind of changements that will be hard because not everyone will accept it. It's already happening since I'm going to do my own astrology and tarot company this year, and I'm not 100% comfortable to share it with people, I'm scared they will be closed minded, judgmental. Even with my family it was hard, but fortunately, my parents are very supportive of what I do <3 It's also a sign of lifestyle changes! My reputation could change too. Uranus in the 10H is also a sign of freelancing... lol

Uyu's New Year Resolutions

This year, I want to exercise more and lose weight! I want to indeed have a glow up and feel more attractive! I want to focus hard on my business and hope I can live with that one day! I also want to work on my spirituality, I feel that I have reached a point where I have to make some changes. I also want to travel and meet new people, new friends! And I want to make progress with my TF!

Pluto 12H

Pluto on solar return chart represents emotional/physiological growth, transformation and how you confront the area of life the sign and house this planet is positioned. 12H signifies the area or things you try to avoid, what’s hidden, psychological issues, the subconscious. could mean being conscious about yourself on an introspection manner, deep analysis. specifically, if last year you’ve had struggle of taking care of your mental health and in this solar return you’ve recently took action and searched for the “origin”, for what could help to stay better or improve it. Also could mean -since my experience- to “open your eyes” about familiar or ancestral issues that can be cut and treated by yourself.

Jupiter 3H

Jupiter on sr chart points out what you’ll expand on that period of time, abundance and way of expression. 3H indicates communication, mental stimulation, extreme curiosity or interest on various topics, being open to listen to opinions that were rejected before. basically, on this period, communication is your way of express your needs, passions, what bothers you. being healthy, direct, you’ll learn and will try your best? you’ll expand your knowledge. you could be more histrionic or spontaneous, people could accept or be intrigued by your mindset or behavior.

Uranus 4H

Uranus indicates change, the unexpected/unpredictable, different from what you’re comfortable. 4H representing family, home, traditions, domestic stuff. change on family dynamic and situations. to put you in context, if you’ve always were conflicted about the basis of your household, manners and tradition, about your place, to feel part of it. this sr you’re fighting for your truth respecting to your emotions and feelings to be part of your family.

Chiron conjunct North Node

Chiron in sr represents the area of difficulties in this period of time, weaknesses that you’ll like to avoid bc it’s complex to treat them. could also mean how or in what you’ll get hurt -even tough I don’t like the idea 😭-. North Node in sr indicates the are of life you’ll be more challenged and therefore, being able to growth. by this two being in conjunction, signifying the energies of both are concentrated. basically, this solar return im gonna be able to not avoid the issues I’m more afraid to uncover and not only work on it but will be able to do it good, like when you’ve seen moo but it’s too disgusting to clean it but you’ve decide to finally clean it with an old brush rough -best example😍-.

Mars conjunct Part of Fortune

one of the things Mars represents in sr chart it’s passion, action and ambition, instincts, and where the energy characterized for the ones mentioned before is projected and also into our goals this period of time. Part of Fortune in sr indicates where you’ll be lucky and successful, your potential. this aspects evidences that I’ll success directing my passion trough my goals.

Moon sextile Saturn

this screams “from being mentally inestable from trying to be mentally stable”. this period of time I’m gonna be more analytical and responsable, organized. Saturn is characterized by “control”, wanting to be in control, etc. this could also mean you’re getting stressed for little things but also you’ll want everything to be “okay” -whatever that means to you-, counting yourself -not saying 100% but at least you’ll tried once to discover wtf is wrong with you jk, your traumas, what bothers you, I’m willing to affirm that bc of this you’re gonna be able or learn how to persuade people on doing what you want. depends on the pure soul of yours 😩

when reading a solar return chart, i always look at chiron’s placement. chiron can tell you where you’ll be struggling the most that year.

chiron never fails to give you a hard lesson, you cannot go against the lessons chiron has prepared for you. although this seems tough, once the pain and grief is experienced, you’ll be gifted with strength.

chiron in the first house

issues with self-identity. chiron in the first house can experience negative comments towards appearance and/or personality leading low self esteem. there can be an overall negative approach to life, a lack of optimism.

chiron in the second house

issues with material possessions. chiron in the second house can lead to tricky financial situations or just possessions stolen, this can cause a lot of physical and mental stress. there can also be issues in the work environment, things may be stressful.

Usually I find the sign that I interact with to be the one I assume they're dominant in. For example, I have a good friend and I always got Aries energy even though he's a Pisces moon it's because I interacted with his mind and intellect more than his emotional and sensitive side, and he is an Aries Mercury. Same things for an acquaintance of mine, I got heavy Venus energy from them esp Taurus and they are a Taurus rising. That's despite their stellium of Pisces and some other energy that I didn't realize until later when I had interacted w those parts of them. I also felt their strong eleventh house, something I was interacting with as aquaintances. The closer we become the more energy I feel from them from different areas of their chart. From my best friend I felt Aquarius energy bc we interacted about our ideals, inspiration, and goals, the things that Neptune rules, and she has an Aquarius Neptune. She doesn't have Aquarius elsewhere in her chart, but that was the energy I was interacting with.

Venus in the 6h SR can signify using your art as service to others, I hear "using your gifts." Note that solar returns signify the energy brought into the year, not a single event or moment. This is simply a possible manifestation of that energy.

Mars in 6h SR can signify using your strength and physical self in service of others, like doing a job where you help others with physical things like lifting and carrying in service. The year I had this placement I became a buser and basically did all of the dirty work in the restaurant so that others, my coworkers, didn't have to.

I know that conjuctions are tense aspects, but I honestly think that ASC conjunct MC synastry is the best kind of hard aspect. Your MC is what you could grow to be, so you are naturally attracted to that energy and being surrounded by it in friends and family helps you grow to be that. For example, I have a Taurus MC and a lot of Taurus risings in my life that I've chosen to be around, because they are what I admire. And you having ASC conj MC synastry means the other person possibly has ASC conj your IC, making them feel at home with your personailty and how you present yourself

We can naturally be drawn to the energy we lack to balance ourselves out, especially with modalities. Someone with a lot of mutability (Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini, and Virgo) will naturally be attracted to decision makers like the cardinal signs (Capricorn, Aries, Libra, and Cancer) and fixed signs (Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio). The reverse is true as well, cardinal signs will look for people they can lead, mutable and fixed, and fixed will look for people less stagnant that they won't butt heads with as much, mutable and cardinal. You will find this less with elements, as you still need common ground with someone to get along, hence why elements like to stick to their respective groups.

People with Pisces Mercury or Mercury in a Pisces degree (12° or 24°) could be drawn to sign language or communicating with hands as Pisces rules the hands and feet

Fixed signs can be very protective. They are solid, immovable, something they use to their advantage in keeping others safe. Leo is known for it, the lion, the pride, the protector of those they love, especially family. Leo rules the heart. But Taurus is the bull. They are the mountain, immovable. They also pertain to matters of the heart as they are ruled by Venus. Scorpio is the ocean, deep, powerful, strong. They are ever changing yet immovable. Pisces placements can be so romantic Neptune, ruler of Pisces, again rules inspiration and ideals. They can view their lovers as perfect, and have great amounts of inspiration about love. Date ideas can be their forte. Also don't know if this is just me but the idea of a nap date <3

Taurus Mars may have a passion for language or speaking as Taurus rules the throat

What house your Uranus falls in can indicate your niche in astrology as Uranus rules astrology. For example, Uranus in the 7h natives may have a knack for synastry as 7h rules close relationships. Another example would be Uranus in the 9h being good at locational astrology, or having an interest in it, 1h placements being good at persona charts, 6h being good at transits bc day to day life and routine... Solar Return Observation (Mercury Edition)

Mercury square Jupiter in the SR chart can indicate a period when there are so much mental process you have to catch up. Times where you find learning to be overwhelming. Communication can be a bit frustrating. Exaggeration is common, may not even come from you yourself.

Mercury square Neptune Changed perspective. Exploring new belief. Things you read are easily absorbed into your subconscious, so you may be prone to indoctrination even though it's something radically different from what you've always believed. Loss of faith. Highly imaginative period. Time when you want to live your own world. You may have heightened will to read and write to escape reality. The mind is full of fiction and fantasy.

Mercury conjunct Moon There's an urge to understand your emotions. You'll try to dissect what you feel, why you feel that way, what are the triggers, etc. Journaling your feelings out. Pay attention to house placement because the topic is closely tied to house position. Depending on the sign, you'll find Mercury/Moon to be more dominant in characteristic. I had this aspect in Gemini, so Mercury is more dominant. I ended up relying more on logic to process the feelings.

Mercury conjunct Lilith A period when you are shamed/gossiped/belittled for your skills, communication, and intelligence. Someone may try to bring you down by speaking badly or harshly to you, just to make you feel more inferior. They try to point out your weaknesses. Sarcasm. Insecurities about intelligence, communication, or competence are also common. Depending on the sign, things play out differently (e.g. Cancers being shamed for being too sensitive/passive).

Mercury conjunct IC Times when you communicate a lot to your family & roots. Having flashbacks about old arguments. Realizing things about your family & home. Old communication pattern resurfacing. Talking about old memories, the past, and the hidden story of your roots. Figuring out the truth of your childhood. Finding the truth about what had happened to your home, family, or roots.

Mercury opposite Pluto realizing the power of the words. I feel like this is the period when your words are powerful, maybe influential. You know exactly how communication works. You'll realize how words can affect people, which you can use for manipulation; but at the same time, native have may struggle to find balance in communication. An inner conflict. Ability to sniff out manipulation. Sharpened intuition. Alertness. Period when it's hard for you to trust people, so you are being more cautious. Hurtful words and argument are possible. You may be a bit stubborn than usual.
